P$ is a 3-5 -10-35 year plan coin it can keep just under the radar for a long time ... then it is Wild Cat time!

but my guess is Mr.OfftheMap holds 50%ish from the 150day rapid phase.

Exciting news for BCC holders and wanna-be holders:
BCC is back on an exchange - https://cryptorush.in/market#/market/BCC-BTC

Some of you may know cryptorush was hacked (several times) last spring and lost a bunch of coins, but they are being rebuilt from scratch by new owners, who are promising to repay everyone who comes back to claim their cryptorush v1.0 account balances. Here is a video of the new owner explaining the hacks and his takeover at grrcon in October: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K9xK5t9ckc

I've tested BTC withdrawals on cryptorush v2.0 and they do work Wink

There's not much volume yet, but quite a few buy orders, all the way up to ~150 satoshi, which is much higher than BCC was trading before it got delisted from Poloniex, just need to get some sellers on there to get things moving a bit. Happy trading Smiley

@ivanlabrie ... hello.

Good Point:
merge mining ... uno is investigating this feature ... and for pure charity coins merging might be the difference from unstable/unsafe to viable/secure.  Also EMC2 is testing the stakes solution.

This should be part of the agenda, finding solutions and credible devs for stabilizing low hash networks.

Please take on BTC-e. I would never say no to them.  They just seem like a real long, long shot.
I think BTER is within reach.
+1
What was the last coin btc-e added? It is nice to dream and we are better (at being less volatile) than half the coins up there

that > What was the last coin btc-e added?

target:BTER
nag:btc-e, particularly after each major milestone reached

i'd like to see stablish 90day sideways but rock steady floor, 7 days of volatility to the north, repeat.
as predictable as the 4 seasons Smiley  there is no exact date but there is consistently a pattern.

this givens strong hands time to build even stronger support (aka save $ to convert to un)

Well then I'd say it's a degree of Trust ...

Who do you trust more holding your goodies?

BTC-e offers better liquidity, no?  in terms of BTC
also gain name/peer markets as options as they trade mostly there.
(but these are side benefits)

I am for BTC-e over BTER if and only if it includes $ pair.

7191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / the big picture (2015) on: December 05, 2014, 10:04:12 AM
i agree for bter
I agree 3.
And WELCOME to le show Cheesy

BUT ... bter voting is a bitch ... you need to earn, via trading, the right to vote (hourly) ... which is a good policy actually.

I will be depositing some high volume coins on bter and will flip them from coin to cnY and back as their markets cycle... in this way you can hold cash there (but you are trusting them as you do a bank).

So BTER will be a long term "Let's Vote" project ... and do you see the benefit of being on BTER?

The ability to hold Chinese fiat ... aka ... helping decouple UNO from the btc pairing. [bonus Chinese traders]

Don't forget we need to work on developing the Blue $/un market and the Cry ripple/un market.

SirSmokes ... counting on you to get us a POT/Canna market pairing.

LeadDev ... counting on you to build an ALT market for Asset Backed coins and WallSt. stuff.

And last but most important the DVC/Uno/bullion project ... that's the big picture, long term, strongest value play.

In Brief:
Uno will have solid markets in btc, xrp, $, cny, and bullion.

plus a fair market direct pairing in up to 1 dozen popular coins.

plus hedges via 'colored coin contracts' ... say Euro$, Aussie$, commodityFutures, Dow, Beer, etc.

(How's that for a plan?) Cheesy

BK should probably provide the details of NSF, address and etc. NAUT is not transparent until then.
Of course, this is all speculation, but need to be considered. Cheers.

Random thought for Blue Crypto Awards ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X_Prize_Foundation

The Trustees are all Forbes-whos-Who-Power-YupYups, but tend to be visionaries in the tech arena, I see the Avatar director on the list Wink

The jest is if we could land some contacts ... UNO provides bitcoin technology as a way to store value on the blockchain for the benefit of X prize.

ie ... They (x prize donors) could start a side fund storing the foundations money in UNOs not $$.

@BC ...  Cheesy ... give Helicopter Ben a call and its Uno by the milligram for them all ... Tell'm he can wear the HB suit-n-cape if he wants.

(f)   [there is some sell-pressure on Uno]

But until then?

Tortoise Platoon gotta tenaciously support Unobtanium, keeping us ‘above the mark’ during this period.

Turtles better to offer larger bids (down low) and nibble at a few kilos above the mark, than rushing up like a rabbit into the 8s-9s.  Turtles could take months to get to the 8s ... but when they get there ... they come with a war chest stocked with cash ready to convert and gold/silver ready to back.

Wonder how many turtles might be gorging themselves fat and heavy on the cheap gold and silver?

7195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN:BCT COIN, SHA3-KECCAK-BITCOINTALK COIN [BCT]-POW Listed on Mintpal on: December 04, 2014, 03:38:42 PM
BCT has had a near death experience ... it makes very very very little sense for the Premine not to have been sold off back when it had value/volume and traded on Mintpal.  If not then this last 2 months when the community dried up and network hash dropped to very low levels ... anyone still holding is not going to dump.

Also this is a distributed coin so for that many accounts to be holding 6figures only re-enforces the arguement that it was sold off.  There is still a risk but a very low risk that the premine is lurking.

We can exercise caution and rebuild value by establishing a use (uses) for BCT.  If you speculate and raise the price rapidly then you are a fool because of the this very premine concern you have.

But if we find a functional use and keep the trading price we are willing to buy at within the range it is now, then I think it is a safe experiment in keeping BCT alive.

Plus, we will have time to analysis the chain in greater detail, in part because we will have to create a better blockchain resorces as part of the redevelopment.

We can always keep an agreement for those active in the community should we discover the Premine still lurks, then we can fork and reward in proportion to the active community.  It is as simple as creating a registry of addresses ... that acts as insurance.

7197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BTCtalkcoin [TALK] - Pure POS - Multipool Ready! - AirDrop Has Arrived on: December 03, 2014, 06:35:45 PM
Any news on implementing coin control?

Yes coin control is on the table.

But for the immediate future there is no reason to mess with a working wallet.

First goal is to revitalize the TALK/BCC community.  Now that we have an exchange listing the hope is that many of the 1200 airdrop recipients will start to re-appear on the thread.

Second goal is to get TALK to be tipped often between bitcointalk.org members, there is a program in the works to distribute coins (purchased on the open market) to very active Hero and Sr. Members ... this is the prime 'case use' of TALK ... a way to show thanks for informative posts on any thread.

Third is to provide price support.  This is program is already active, I have guaranteed to underwrite the value of TALK at 20satos.  This is to assure value in case of a whale stabbing the market.  If you win a bid at 10satos then I am obliged to pay 20satos, if you so choose to accept the standing offer.  As the community grows this price support of an absolute bottom will slowly raise the base value.  Others are free to pledge an underwriting too Wink

Fourth is to develop a 'multi label' product, which is already working ... BCC and TALK are the same token but focus on different markets and case uses.  This is a novel approach to building value and growth.  The only limit is our imagination and our will to follow through.

Fifth is to do a hard fork and yes include coin control, along with the latest 2.0 POS safety measures.  But this will take careful planning and any changes will need full community approval.  If this is not deemed necessary then the wallets will only be updated but not forked.

Today the wallet works (both of them), the market is open, the price support is posted, there are 2 block chain explorers, 2 faucets, and at least 1200 share holders.

The value is up to us, and it might just be a fun way to reward the TALK members who bring the most value to bitcointalk.org

When I tested the BCC withdraw it was literally nanoseconds.  It is cool to have a coin network that processes a send so quick, and cryptorush seems to process the order to withdraw the second you click (no email confirmation needed if you select that option).

7198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Unobtanium In-House Exchange on: December 03, 2014, 04:12:45 PM
We are 'specialist' there are no contracts our word is our bond.  We fill both buy and sell orders, bridging the gap on the market.
[actual profession on the Street] ... I think an apt description of what crypto TTs will do.  (but also not the sole function of TTs)

I think I might just have NXT downloaded.  It might be go time Smiley
NXT-QUJQ-DGV7-SZFC-3MPD8 (new ... because I download the chain again?)  (private key = password? // no wallet.dat?)

---
http://www.coinspark.org  was just a random find ... I came across Prism ... it is very simple wallet but 10000satos to do anything, buy/sell/create.

Then there is CP and Master.

I like to look at Dogeparty (built on top of LTC/doge not BTC).

----
Yes gold is very much manipulated.  Rather odd that we live in a wired information world but no one can provide solid figures of how much and where is it ... nevermind to whom it is allocated.  I think if DVC pitches just this message ... the blockchain of gold/silver (exact figures on how much suppy, where/vault custodians, and ownership title) ... then DVC is a winner/EZ.

Silver presents an interesting dilemma ... to sell at spot or to sell at what it actually cost to buy physical from established dealers.

Strange Days indeed.

I am all for having Estonia as part of the ecosystem.  Yes it is small potatoes (right now) but having a small country (but with a well educated populace) means they might just favor technology and and cryptos verses the two juggernauts super States they find themselves squeezed between.     They could become the 21st Century version of the Swiss.

Estonia is often described as one of the most wired countries in Europe.

Like the Lion says, it just a FUN option for now, so why not provide a little support by trading there once a moon or so.

@Furio ... Rome wasn't build in a day they say ... and Tyrants lose when you expose them, clearly to all, as just that ... the root of all evil is (debt based inflationary) money ... we provide the road to root B money 'open and transparent and voluntary' ... many mighty Empires have fallen by debasing their money ...  be the change you want to see in the world ... those who say it can't be done, best step aside for those showing that yes it can be done ...  Grin

Just thinking this too ... we could stack $5000-$10000 worth of BTC on the exchanges to demonstrate a display of BUY support ... but then we run the Gox/Mint risk of having it go 'poof' ...  who ever is selling a large amount of UNO also should be concerned about this issue of 3rd Party risk Wink

In house can do large deals ... piece meal so the risk is minimized to your tolerance.
