for making sounds with my face hole, and repeating perfectly readily available public information

As long as your face isn't firmly planted on communist dictator's ass when doing that, you'll be fine. Although I wouldn't mind if millennials moved to NK en masse to confirm their ideological beliefs in practice.

Oh and are BTC maximalists still a thing? I thought they all died.

They did. You're obviously in the "shitcoin price movement tracking & discussion" thread.

Luckily enough I am not a millennial, nor am I planning on going to NK... though putting somone in prison for repeating publicly available info  , is the kind of behaviour I expect from.... the north koreans.

In the USA, "the land of the free" and in much of the west, it seems you only go to prison if your face fits.

If you have a face like this guys, you can do whatever you want...

I have noticed a trend in the west of late, of creating laws or enforcing laws, where really there is not a whole lot of problem... and at the same time fragrantly ignoring the actual problems..  I mean, thank god they outlawed lynching recently in the US hey ? thank the lord.

So there ARE still BTC maximalists? how quaint , that is just adorable .....

Griffith had travelled to North Korea's capital city Pyongyang in April 2019

What a delusional fucktard (not saying much about a shitcoiner, I know).

5 years in a US prison is a vacation compared to this: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-northkorea-detainee/u-s-student-held-prisoner-by-north-korea-dies-days-after-release-idUSKBN19A2TW

hmmmmmm yeah, still seems rather harsh....

No doubt 5 years in US prison would be a better proposition than time in a NK prison, which is really a prison within a prison... but I do not fancy either....especially for making sounds with my face hole, and repeating perfectly readily available public information.

Former Ethereum employee jailed for talking at North Korea crypto conference about dodging sanctions

https://www.pcgamer.com/former-ethereum-employee-jailed-for-talking-at-north-korea-crypto-conference-about-dodging-sanctions/

Virgil Griffith, a former employee of the Ethereum Foundation, has been sentenced to more than five years in prison and fined $100,000, after pleading guilty to conspiring to violate US law: specifically, US International Emergency Economic Powers Act (thanks, BBC). The 39 year-old was accused of having "participated in discussions regarding using cryptocurrency technologies to evade sanctions and launder money" with the North Korean authorities, per the charge sheet, and had he not cut a plea deal could have faced up to 20 years inside and $1 million in fines.

Griffith had travelled to North Korea's capital city Pyongyang in April 2019 to give a presentation on blockchain tech at a crypto conference—despite applying for and being denied permission by the US State Department to attend. Prosecutors said that Griffith understood how crypto could be used to evade US sanctions on North Korea, "participated in discussions regarding using cryptocurrency technologies to evade sanctions and launder money," and quoted parts of Griffith's presentation:

"The most important feature of blockchains is that they are open. And the DPRK can't be kept out no matter what the USA or the UN says."

I am going to make that tomato soup. with the heavy cream. (thank god I have good cholesterol )

Lol you just reminded me I forgot my cholesterol meds today, they started me on them last week and I've forgotten to take it about half the time.

edit: rectified.

....if you have not, then check out eating Walnuts , 3-4 a day to control Cholesterol.

Also, weirdly enough, Quercetin..... beneficial for multiple other things too Wink

I've been borderline for years and have kept it under control with exercise and my diet has always been steak, potato and salad based which I guess is no longer what is considered a death sentence. But with the covid shit quarantine I have slacked on exercise and gone up from 30 to 34 waist in the last year (actually I am having to squeeze in 34 now so its either get this shit under control or goto 36. I'm pretty tired most of the time now and guess i'm just at the age that time has caught up with me.  I pulled the bicycle out the other day and only made it half the distance I was doing pre covid so i'm not pleased with that result but I'm going to keep up and do my best this summer to get the spare tire under control but if I can't by fall then its gonna be fuck it. They have me on tons of pills for other shit for the last 22 years and I've watched my mental capacities decline markedly as well as the physical. So I'm basically figuring this is my last push to stay healthy if I fail i'll just call it a day and eak out my last few decades eating whatever the fuck I want and let the chips fall where they may. Cheesy

To be fair.... my post pretty much did say "eat deez nutz"  Grin

But, I hear yah...

Tell you my story, I am a decent weight, decent history of exercise/sport my whole life, decent diet (usually)....with some periods of my life with a true IDGAF, and in those times, which are in the minority, and largely connected to .....mental health issues (following some crazy crazy fubar shit, which I will not get into) and ...a hectic lifestyle ....and....

I get a blood test and they are like "brooooooooooooo, you have the highest cholesterol I have ever seen" .....turns out, you can spike your cholesterol by NOT eating regularly... (forces body into keto) which I gotta admit that I went through periods where... I just didn't care to eat regularly...and I love food lol.

Anyways, that was a shock for me, and for my doctors, and for well everyone... to look at you would never guess.

Anyways... quercetin, return to a good and regular eating, a bunch of nuts, and 3 years of testing, and its normalising for me now, with improvements every 6 months.

Eat my nutz , I mean.... walnuts.

ps, for anyone that is interested Quercetin is also an ACE-2 inhibitor Wink  amongst many other things.

Look after yourself bro, keep on keeping on

hey, Phil, how can a miner make money with the new machines?
bitcon is a bit down, but Bitmain's prices are still insane.
I understand that they are selling with discount to large buyers, but for retail, I am calculating 3 year breakeven with 8c electricity and NO difficulty increase (and not counting halving in 2024).
Since these machines often last only 2-2.5 years being fully intact (without dropping 1-2 boards), then what gives?
Of course, appreciation could help, but i am used to the concept of getting some profit even in btc, albein a small one.

In the market for one of these ?

ps is Bitchmain still taking the piss with delivery times?
