For me it has to be vTorrent, it's due for it pubic launch over the next couple of months. Torrents has upto 300M monthly users to tap into, what does crypto have? 3M? The devs will be adding magnet links to the blockchain, searchable via the QT wallet, this eliminates the need for central sites like the pirate bay, plus by everyone having all the magnet links on the chain in your wallet, there's no way of censorship. Torrent sites are being taken down and the owners arrested all over the globe, they are begging for a decentralized indexing system. From what i understand we believe that the torrent function will be live with next fork. Devs are super hush hush about announcing anything, but last fork brought 2fa (which no other coin had done). If im wrong on this, someone please correct me. -pickle I don't think it will be the next fork, maybe the second. Thank you for clearing that up  One thing we do know is that the torrent function is complete, they've just been working to sew up any loopholes that would allow someone to cheat the system. -pickle From what the devs have posted I would say yes, they have a set plan and schedule for the big release. |

vTorrent -> Poloniex any time soon?
I bet they will add after the big release, they don't add coins without merit. Infact lots of exchanges will be adding us when we go live. Build it and they will come.  |

If SDC can be used as a proxy for VTR's value, then even with almost double the supply of SDC, VTR should be around 5-6 cents.
Maybe more because SDC hovered around 10-20 cents for the 6 months or so leading up until the big spike to 2 dollars.
Even though VTR is using SDC as it's base, this is a different beast, not sure if you should compare the two. I do agree that the current price is still super cheap, as we are not even off the starting line yet. Interesting times ahead.  |

Guys, i've sent the dev two PMs about getting the beta client and they haven't responded.
Does anyone know whats up with that?
Nothing personal, they are like that with everyone, they don't give out ANY info before the release, period! If you were to report a bug they would likely answer. Ok. Well maybe they should take this out of the OP: Please PM me if you want to join our private beta program for Windows, OSX and Ubuntu. Beta user please report your feedback in PM. I think that was from ages ago, yeah they should remove that. |

The bittorrent client and the system to reward seeders are not ready yet.
Stop shilling with your newbie troll account, trying to get people to dump, just buy. I doubt many will dump this close to the first fork, the majority of coins are in the hands of the people that have been following this project for the last two years, so they 're in strong hands. |

Where is their connection to the BitTorrent network? They are a file sharing system, but they will have their own network, so no connection to bittorrent. They are also a LTD company, so I don't think they will hosting any illegal content. I think they are trying to be a decentralized netflix, app store and itunes type system. VTR will tap into the existing user base of the torrent community, so we won't be limited to just crypto people starting off. |

Why is it necessary to use this though there is Piratesbay or utorrent?
If there is not the merit more than these, this coin is a nothingness.
I'm not sure that your aware that there seems to be a global copyright crack down on torrent sites at the moment, they are going down left, right and centre, servers being sized and owners arrested, by decentralizing the torrent links (storing them on the chain in the wallet) you are eliminating the need to visit a central site, it also makes it impossible to take down. Here in the UK they are leading the way at getting ISP's to block torrent sites, including thePirateBay, so a decentralized system is desperately needed. |
