721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 07:48:42 AM
When someone should gamble should be when he has an income that is capable to financially have a good family and using just little part of the savings like 5% of his weekly income to gamble. We have said this countless number of times. If you are not receiving enough income, do not gamble. If you are an average, use just 1 to 5% and not more than 5% of your weekly income to gamble. If you are rich, also use 1 to 3% for gambling. But if I am rich, I can not use up to 5% of my weekly income to gamble, I will reduce it. In gambling, if you have the money to spare for it weekly which you can afford to lose, let it be in percentage. If you are rich, better not to use more than 1% to gamble.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Resources for a more reliable paroly (multi-bet) strategy on: February 07, 2024, 07:35:41 AM
I can remember the old days when I will accumulate many matches and be happy that I want to win those matches with small amount of money. The end result are always the same which is loss. After many times of losses, I only prefer to accumulate not more than three matches. But my betting strategy is to never go more than 1 or 2 matches. 3 matches at maximum but which is not my common way of betting.
723  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: February 06, 2024, 10:29:20 PM
This may seem related to bitcoin speculation but it is not bitcoin speculation at all. We are not speculation on bitcoin price but to know if someone can know if he or she can go up to 100 push ups before bitcoin hit six digits. This belongs to off-topic.
724  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy bitcoin now? on: February 06, 2024, 10:20:14 PM
Use DCA strategy. It means instead to buy all at ones, you can be buyin in small amount every week. If the price of bitcoin fall between $30000 to $35000, buy the remaining at ones. If the price of bitcoin do not fall to such price and it is getting to halving, like a week or two weeks to halving, then buy the remaining at ones at the time.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The US Government wants your Bitcoin Miners!? on: February 06, 2024, 06:29:17 PM
We have been discussing something similar to this. You can see it here if you click on this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5483892.msg63601670#msg63601670

When I saw the news, I think the United States government are up to something. Let us keep watching as the drama continues. Probably they will look for ways to discourage mining.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 06, 2024, 01:24:31 PM
I'm guilty of this when I was just starting my venture in gambling, I was like hitting when the iron is still hot I believe in this saying in many situations but it's too late to find out that it will not work in gambling, I was so greedy back then that I thought that I can make money from gambling if I can create a winnable method, I was in searched for the best method I can apply on my betting so I can win some more, I even explore martingale because the theory looks good on study but unfortunately I found out that it will not apply on gambling.
I too fall victim of this. There were times I would win and think I am better than before and think I am becoming more professional in gambling. But later I will start losing and lose all my money and always find myself losing than winning at the end. That is just gambling. We should not be greedy.

There was also a time I was given a tip that a particular game was going to be fixed by players and teams I was so greedy that I even pawned my watch so I could bet more so I could win more until I found out that it was fake news.
You should never apply greediness to gambling, there's a lot of uncertainty in gambling, and if you cannot moderate your greediness you will be a step closer to becoming addicted to gambling.
This has happened to someone that I know before but I told him not to bet on the fixed matches because it was from French Lique 2 and they were two matches. He later gave it a try and lost. My friend used small amount of money to gamble with the matches and lost the two.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 06, 2024, 11:12:18 AM
If you have a gambling budget that is very low to the amount you are receiving as salary, you can do the money the way you want. Taking just 5% from your weekly income is good. You can be greedy with it and lose it to gambling and not go more than your gambling budget. It will not affect you because you can afford to lose it. Gambling should not be done with the money that you can not afford to lose. But also for not to regret, it is good not to be greedy though. If you have won little amount of money for the day, stop gambling. If you are losing, stop gambling for you not to lose more. This may help you not to use money that is not in your gambling budget. But the most important thing is to not touch the money you do not have as gambling budget.

729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin become extinct? on: February 05, 2024, 09:02:43 PM
The chance that bitcoin will extinction is small. But why bothering about this? What is most certain is all-time-high.

zero
I will not agree with this because life itself can extinct.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: February 05, 2024, 07:33:02 PM
The highest odd that I have won before was over 10x. The remaining matches that I have accumulated were most likely result to loses. That was why I prefer single match in-play which I saw better but also risky. As for now, I do not like to accumulate matches. The highest that I can go now are 3 matches if not in-play. If it is not in-play, I can risk first half win of three matches which the odd are also worth it.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who says Tesla initiated last bull run is wrong on: February 05, 2024, 04:40:13 PM
firstly your rest of post talked about 2020.. the elon drama was 2021
No, I talked about 2020 and 2021. I am not saying that Tesla did not contribute, but did not started the bull run.

first part of 2020 was the "covid blues" where there was no FOMO hype, and instead reasonable low for that first part of 2020 leading to the halving

now to get to the point

elon didnt scream bitcoin drama in february 2021.. it was news media that did

tesla had to file SEC docs about its purchase of bitcoin in december 2020
news media read it and announced in february 2021 to the masses which sparked the drama.. so media sparked the speculative drama in february 2021 based on a SEC filing about a december 2020 purchase.
Bitcoin all-time-high since 2017 was in November 2020. It got to $29300 in December 2020. It got to $41950 in January 2021 before it fall and Tesla drama began.

What I said is that Tesla did not started the bull run, it is very wrong that Tesla started it. Can we say the media helped? I will say they also contributes but not in relation to Tesla that started the bull run. The bull run started in 2020.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who says Tesla initiated last bull run is wrong on: February 05, 2024, 12:31:12 PM
Tesla initiated the last Bitcoin bull run? Rubbish.

I saw this on Twitter yesterday. You can see it yourself: https://twitter.com/rovercrc/status/1754146791576985665?t=oYWn43cKg08NR--EAR3gDg&s=09

Bitcoin was at $3800 in March 2020. It fall abruptly from $8000 to $3800 in just an hour or so and increased back to $5500 not quite long. 2 weeks to halving 2020, bitcoin was around $8200 and its price was not far from that after halving. After halving, bitcoin later increased over $19000 and fall back to $16900 or so.

Michael Saylor, Grayscale, institutional investors and retail investors all played their own part as some people also continue to fomo. No Tesla until the price of bitcoin increased above $43000. Tesla bought bitcoin around that price and bitcoin price increased above $50000. Later it got to $63500. Before bitcoin get to $63000, Tesla accepted bitcoin for payment.

Elon Musk later said Tesla will no longer accept bitcoin for payment and the price of bitcoin deceased below $46000. He later said Tesla will accept coin that is using 1% of bitcoin energy for mining. We all knew he was manipulating and only wanted to make people know about doge. He accepted doge. He only manipulated bitcoin price.

Later China banned bitcoin mining and bitcoin got below $30000.

Like 6 months after, bitcoin increased to $69000 which was the all-time-high of no Elon Musk influence as it was before.

How is Tesla the cause of the bull run? It is just rubbish to praise what manipulated bitcoin price when it is even not what that started the bull run.
733  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2024-02-04] Bitcoin Pioneer Nayib Bukele Reelected in El Salvador ... on: February 05, 2024, 08:13:25 AM
Good to read about this. He is likely a good president. A president that can think that way to legalize bitcoin as a legal tender in a way the dollar they are spending is not affected. It is a president that consider people's freedom. He has my respect the way he legalized bitcoin by making buying and selling of goods and services to be paid in bitcoin or dollar in a way no merchant can reject the buying but in way the merchant can decide to automatically convert the bitcoin to dollar, or the dollar to bitcoin when the buyer is sendinf the money.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 05, 2024, 07:30:44 AM
I do multi-bets and single-bets, every time I win, sometimes I forget myself and use all my $$ on the next bet. This sometimes gives me big wins, but if I'm unlucky I can lose all my funds and this has happened many times.
This means that you are greedy. Do not mind me that I said that. I was like this before. I can win 10x and still continue to bet with the total money that I have and my winning together on a single bet. I even remember a time that I bet like $1 up to when I won $35 and I lost all at ones. It is called greediness and it happens to addicted gamblers. You will need to stop that because you are chasing money and not fun.
735  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting without losing your money/no need for deposit on: February 05, 2024, 06:28:55 AM
How much money in United States dollar can you generate from your faucet in an hour?

Faucets are on gambling sites to be used as fun mode or demo mode because the money received from it are usually very small like a waste of time.

Visit our website and discover our featured casino with an integrated faucet, allowing you to enjoy betting without the need for an initial investment.
It is better to refer to the money that you are using to gamble as gambling budget and not an investment. Gambling is too risky to call such money an investment. It is not an investment.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another Two Category Of Gamblers That We Are Not Aware Of on: February 04, 2024, 03:51:17 PM
You were explaining escape gamblers towards getting addicted after they have won, lost, lost more, desperate and hopeless. I see it more as a way of getting into addiction.

I see myself more as an action gambler if you meant dominant legal and illegal sport betting as the gamblers visiting the sites because I prefer to gamble online and privately and I have just little amount of money to gamble. I prefer just legal gambling sites because my country allows gambling for 18+ people.
737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im good with shorting binance on: February 04, 2024, 03:35:42 PM
You have to be careful if you use short trading, even if you are really good at short trading. During August and until now, market conditions often experience declines and it is good to take the opportunity to make a profit.
This depends on the type of traders he is. If he is a scalper, he may go short position and still lose during bear market. What you said is applicable to swing traders that can wait during losses and let the market to correct itself. But this is also dangerous as the bull market may start at anytime. Also you can open a long position during bear market and still get it right if you are scalping. During bull or bear market, you can still see overbought and oversold market even in 4 hours candles. Although it is good to trade towards the trends.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Quantum Computing on: February 04, 2024, 03:13:35 PM
What impact could advances in quantum computing have on the security and integrity of the Bitcoin blockchain? Moreover, what efforts need to be made within the crypto community to address potential vulnerabilities ?
What was predicted is that quantum computers might be able to brute force bitcoin private key from public key and address by 2030, but this may not be what would happen because it could take a longer time. This is not a threat because if something like that would happen, bitcoin developers would have done something about it which will be able to protect bitcoin from quantum computing. This is not what should be bothering us for now because no computer that can be able to do that which has been created.
739  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 04, 2024, 12:58:13 PM
We can understand the forum that you are talking about which is Altcoinstalks. You know that good forum members on this forum are against account selling and they will hate anyone that wants to sell teleported account.

You said the forum can become big later in time, anyone that wants to enjoy by that time should have registered now and be posting something quality
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a generous gamblers on: February 03, 2024, 12:05:26 PM
I am not a generous gambler and I can never become one. If I lose the money that I am using to gamble, no one will help me. So why should I win and think of my neighbors or friends? I can not do that. In fact, I bet with little amount of money and if I win I win little amount of money that is not even enough for me not to talk of it to be enough for my friends and people around me. Not that I am stingy but I am not a generous gambler.
