721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports bets/bettting on the NFL games for this weekend on: September 29, 2023, 01:31:00 PM
Alright guys, i'm going to be looking at opening up an account on one of these sports betting sites for the weekend football games  Cool

What should I bet on? I am thinking maybe putting down like $50-$100 just for shits and giggles. (I never really gamble at all).

Opening an account means you haven't tried betting on sports yet? If so, I guess you should start with your own picks. Relying on others would make you lazy, and that will not help you achieve consistency.

@Natalim has shared a good forum; you might want to visit it, as they have more active tipsters than here.

One tip I could give, don't ever think winning in sports is easy. (That's based on my experience)
722  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportbet.one just stole $5k usd from me on: September 29, 2023, 01:03:49 PM
Just because this no name casino says he violated the terms you just believe them?
They are here for more than a few years. So called reputed casinos have a lot of scam accusations, shady activities while I have barely seen scam accusation on sportbet.one, why wouldn't I trust them?

At first glance, I thought it was sportsbet.io, and I would have reacted because I know they are a reputable gambling site. Regarding the site in question, which has a scam accusation, I thought they didn't exist on the forum. However, you mentioned it, so I was able to check the ANN thread. They started their ANN thread in 2019, so I must say they have been here for a long time.

As for the reply:
Hi guys. To clarify the situation, the topic starter violated several bonus rules https://sportbet.one/rules/bonus:

I am not sure if we are capable of verifying which one is telling the truth because transaction are only between the gambling site and the gambler.
723  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: September 27, 2023, 11:07:05 AM

It wouldn't be attractive if casinos required KYC right away, would it?

Yes, the fact that we are in the crypto world means that most of us are probably avoiding KYC requirements. Otherwise, we would just choose a fiat casino, as they undoubtedly offer as many games as crypto casinos, if not more. However, with increasing government intervention, we can't avoid KYC requirements from becoming more common. Even playing on a non-KYC casino carries some risk. To minimize this risk, it's crucial to manage your exposure wisely. Don't become overconfident and risk a significant amount of money—only risk what you can afford to lose in case a casino turns out to be fraudulent. I'm not saying that NO KYC casinos are all untrustworthy, but it's essential to understand the difference in risk levels between non-KYC and KYC casinos.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 27, 2023, 10:43:35 AM
Though his opponent is no longer in his prime, Casimero still needs a win with a big hype under his name. Winning it with an early KO
might bring the attention to the crowd.

Especially that he's fighting against a Japanese fighter where pride is really important, winning it with a KO or taking his opponent down with something
that vlogger can write a good story behind might really spark the interest of promoters to set him up against Inoue.

An important win to make or create a noise for your name and push the intensity to bring himself closer to Inoue's next challenger.

Im hoping to witness that. The last boxer he beat was Ryo Akaho. Although it was initially controversial and ruled as a no contest, since Ryo Akaho admitted he lost the fight, the win was awarded to Casimero via a 2nd-round knockout as we can see it in Ryo Akaho's record.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 27, 2023, 09:18:46 AM
What I see is that the Bucks and Celtics have good rosters, but unfortunately, they don't have a good coach as skilled as the Heat's.

Erik Spoelstra has been with the Heat for over 26 seasons, and he got his first championship experience back in the 05/06 season when the Heat won their first title under Riley. At that point, he was still just an assistant coach. But when he became the head coach, he also gained valuable experience leading the Heat's big trio. So Spo is indeed a very experienced coach, but it seems that it is not enough, considering that the Heat have already failed literally one step away from the title a few times.

I guess their lineup isn't that strong because Coach Spo has already proven in the past that with a good roster, he can help them win a championship. Remember that LeBron got his first championship with Coach Spo, and it was actually a back-to-back championship in 2012 and 2013. The roster then consisted of a big three, all of whom were Hall of Famers, especially Wade and LeBron. I'm not sure about Chris Bosh, though, as he wasn't able to finish his career due to health issues.

I believe that if LeBron didn't return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Miami Heat might have won more championships. It was LeBron who made the team stronger. No disrespect to Dwayne Wade, though, as he also won a championship without LeBron, but the 'Big Three' was unstoppable. Even a strong Warriors team might not have been able to stop them. So, Coach Spoelstra is already a fulfilled coach, winning multiple championships as a head coach.

Now, let's shift our focus to the current Miami Heat roster. I think if Damian Lillard were to join, that's when we would see the Heat having a legitimate chance of winning the championship. It wouldn't rely solely on Butler, as sometimes he isn't consistent, and you know, many factors could affect him. If he carries the team, he will be more prone to injury or at least fatigue.
726  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most liquid companies in the gambling industry on: September 27, 2023, 06:41:50 AM
Honestly, I'm not familiar with the company names, although as you have shared, they are the most liquid. We are in the crypto world, so I believe it's more appropriate if you can share the most liquid crypto gambling sites, not the general ones, as most likely, they are dominated by fiat casinos.

Stake.com Crypto Casino Reportedly Hacked for $41.3 Million - https://www.btcgosu.com/blog/news/stake-com-crypto-casino-reportedly-hacked-for-41-3-million/

Well, a serious amount of money, and it seems like Stake didn't even notice it. I think it speaks to how serious a casino Stake is, and we can only assume how liquid they are when they covered this without any problems. I guess we can say that Stake is the most liquid crypto casino around... but who is in second place, and how far they are from Stake can be interesting to find out.

It's hard to determine which is the most liquid, as we don't have data on the crypto casinos' liquid assets. However, Stake is undoubtedly a major gambling site. The fact that they have been sponsoring big events, such as boxing and even UFC matches, suggests that they have a lot of money to invest. This, in turn, attracts more gamblers.

As a gambling site becomes more popular and reputable, it also instills confidence in high rollers who choose to use the site for their gambling activities.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 27, 2023, 06:07:59 AM
And if I'm not mistaken, it was supposedly the East that should dominate last season, with Giannis had a good run with the Bucks in the regular games. And also Boston Celtics, who has the formidable duo of Tatum and Brown and then former Celtic defensive specialist in Marcus Smart. And then the Sixers with Joel winning the MVP and James Harden at the helm.

But the Nuggets has total different mentally in the West. They take the lead, the Suns, Warriors and the Lakers falter with injuries and it seems the focus that time is Lebron breaking Kareem's record. So let's see if the East can bounce back again and win the NBA trophy for this season to even up.
I think this could be a good question! I was also hopeful that the East would win last season, but that didn't happen.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Celtics play soon (even if it's preseason)
I have no doubt that Tatum, Brown and others will do everything they can to become champions

This changed when the Heat advanced to the NBA Finals. If we revisit the betting odds, the Heat were heavy underdogs, and the public was right in favoring the Nuggets to win. The issue in the Eastern Conference is that these teams, the Heat, Bucks, and Celtics, seem to know each other very well. The Heat were able to exploit their weaknesses in the last playoffs, which is why they won. However, as in the past, when they advanced to the Finals, they easily lost.

The last time they reached the Finals, they faced the Lakers and also lost convincingly.

What I see is that the Bucks and Celtics have good rosters, but unfortunately, they don't have a good coach as skilled as the Heat's.

Wait, was the OP edited? Because I'm quite surprised that, with a number of discussions about No KYC casinos, I finally found one named 'NO KYC.' But can the casino really stand by their promise?

I presume that when they say 'no KYC,' KYC should not be implemented no matter what. I would now like to know about the legality of a certain casino because I know that regulated casinos do not allow no KYC practices.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 26, 2023, 05:40:02 AM
Are you guys excited? 10 more days and the pre-season will start. October 5. Dallas Mavericks will play against Minnesota Timberwolves in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Then on October 10, the Dallas Mavericks will fly to Madrid, Spain to play against the EuroLeague champions Real Madrid.

During the season, there will be 2 more games that will be played in different places and that is the Atlanta Hawks versus Orlando Magic, on November 9 in Mexico City, Mexico, and the Brooklyn Nets versus Cleveland Cavaliers, on January 11 in Paris, France.

Season openers are kind of intriguing. LA Lakers versus Denver Nuggets - teams who played the Western Conference Finals Golden State Warriors versus Phoenix Suns - CP3 meeting his former team and so is KD meeting his champion buddies. Do you think it will get physical?  Grin We know Booker has some heat against Klay Thompson and Steph Curry and now they are teammates with his former partner.

Yes of course. Also those gamblers who only bet on NBA games are excited to both gamble and watch the NBA. Not just the gamblers; real fans also who support their teams.

I don't know how the season opening schedule is made but yes the season opener to be quite interesting. I love the way they organized or made it. There will be a physical game for sure due to the issue you mentioned. Another question is who's your pick in this game? Me: I'm going for the Denver Nuggets, given their home court advantage and the fact that they are the defending champions!

As for the Suns vs. Warriors game I'm picking the Suns even though it's on the Warriors' home court. The Suns have a solid roster this season unlike last season when they had CP3. I know CP3 was the main reason they didn't make the playoffs so it's a good thing he's no longer with the Suns.

It's a preseason opening, not as exciting as the regular season opening, but at least you can already feel that the NBA will be back soon. It's the time when we should start saving for our bankroll for the long season, and hopefully, we will end up profitable if we didn't during the last season. As a gambler, it's a test for us; having a decent bankroll will test how patient and disciplined you are in managing your money.

For gamblers, the NBA isn't exciting if there's no betting involved, so I took the opportunity to share some thoughts about betting.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is life on: September 25, 2023, 03:04:03 PM
They tend to mislead themselves with the words 'gambling' and 'gamble.'

Bitcoin is a gamble because of its risk. Simply investing in it poses a risk to your money due to its high volatility. There's no guarantee of profitability. However, it's been proven that some people have been profitable by investing in bitcoin compared to traditional gambling. If we are realistic enough, we will understand that only a few gamblers make money because we play against the house, whereas with investing, we hope that the demand for Bitcoin will increase, leading to an increase in its value.

An increase in demand for Bitcoin is highly likely to happen. Winning in gambling? It's uncertain.
732  Economy / Lending / Re: Not here for a loan Got a question on: September 25, 2023, 02:01:09 PM
We are in the digital world, the crypto world to be specific. So, your collateral should be in crypto and should be liquid enough for the lender to sell it in case you default. It's up to the lender to decide whether they will accept the collateral, as not all altcoins are valid. Trading volume is a big factor, as well as the exchanges where it's trading.

How many hours per day? I think it's more attractive if you put the exact details of the job. You posted in the services; you should be specific about the kind of job you are offering. By the way, Skype? I think I deleted that application a long time ago.

OP has not been online since the the 22nd and has not replied any of the comments and questions being asked here for further explanations and clarity. If it were to be a serious project of that nature I believe OP would have given attention to the offer he had don here looking at the application and entries as per his or her offer.

I think OP has put up this application else where hence his absence here and I also think for the fact that there is also a Skype ID attached too making it possible to reach out to OP but the way and manner at which OP did this is a kind of been suspicious. No proper introduction and idea of what OP wants to promote here. OP did not follow the steps and procedures to creating an announcement thread for future engagement.

I will advise anybody dealing with OP should apply caution while engaging or dealing with him or her.

Probably, he doesn't want to provide any more information. He has already provided the necessary details to contact him outside the forum, so those who are interested will be able to reach him. Personally, I am skeptical of this kind of offer. Hopefully, those who are interested in applying will consider reading the comments after the OP's post.

735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: September 23, 2023, 02:46:45 PM

And remember - Have fun and gamble safely Smiley

Everything has all been covered but you forgot to add this coming from your own post, gambling is all about having fun, and if you think in another way that's where gambling is not safe.

Casinos promote themselves as an entertainment platform, they want to protect their players' welfare by warning them not to indulge too much in gambling so people should have fun to gamble safely.

I hope everyone feels that way. When we say gambling is fun, it sounds like entertainment where we're going to spend to get value. Casinos would say 'gamble for fun,' which is just another way of saying 'enjoy and pay,' if you know what I'm saying. Actually, if we are serious about gambling and intend to succeed by making a consistent profit, we should not treat it as fun. It should be approached seriously, like a job, with the goal of getting better every time.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: September 23, 2023, 12:49:04 PM

What affects our relationship is not gambling, but the addiction in it, ..

If addiction has a negative effect, then the impact on our relationship is also negative. But let's look at it from another perspective. Why do we always assume that when a person is addicted to gambling, they are losing more money than they can afford to lose? What if it's the other way around? What if a person is addicted because they are winning and have achieved financial freedom through gambling?

Isn't it considered an addiction as well when you keep gambling because you are winning?

Indeed, it's just a proportional effect when you have an addiction. It will also influence your connection with your loved ones the same way.

Regarding addiction having a positive effect such as attaining wealth in the process, for me, yes it's still considered as an addiction, but in a healthy way. Although I wouldn't really call it as an addiction, rather a passion because they do it with ease and it has a good outcome for them. This is because they know how to control their betting and plays, not going overboard to becoming bankrupt just for the sake of chasing winnings, rather making an effort to earn more profit without sacrificing their current earnings. They are strategic and smart like that.

Let's skip the process though as we know how successful gamblers do, but as I research now I find that my understanding was wrong.

According to wiki - https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambling_addiction#:~:text=A%20gambling%20addiction%20is%20when,more%20than%20the%20general%20population.

Quote
A gambling addiction is when someone is obsessed with gambling despite the negative consequences.

I'm talking about positive outcome, so I was wrong.

738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A matter of family conflict regarding Bitcoin. on: September 23, 2023, 09:21:31 AM
Bitcoin will give you profit if you understand it completely but if you don't understand then blaming bitcoin is useless. Bitcoin is just a way to earn but it is you who select your failure or win as you have to take decision accordingly and bitcoin never force you to select it.

I think it's not only bitcoin but if a person fails to get profit in any asset he will be angry with his family and its a human nature. They don't think that it is their fault that they don't manage their investment correctly if they do so then they will never be disappointed.

People don't get knowledge on time when they do not get success then they starts to combat with families and they consider bitcoin as a bad investment which is totally inaccurate opinion.

Obviously, it's the person. We can never blame Bitcoin, as it exists and some countries have already recognized it. It's always the lack of knowledge and the greediness to make easy money that will likely lead to losing money. It's okay if the investment is legitimate, but if it's a scam from the start, that's truly unacceptable.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A matter of family conflict regarding Bitcoin. on: September 22, 2023, 03:19:15 PM
The root cause of the problem is indeed money, but the news was delivered in a misleading way, making it appear that Bitcoin is a bad investment. Some writers of stories or news choose to cast a negative image on Bitcoin because they know people are more likely to react to it than to create more informative posts to educate people about Bitcoin.

Just like in gambling, when a person is addicted, they tend to blame gambling, but the actual root cause is often irresponsible gambling.

One should understand that investment carries risk and it does not guarantee profit, regardless of what kind of investment.

Wow! I'm a bit skeptical when I hear the word 'transparent.' It makes me want to research more about the project. Could you provide additional information about the project so that we can verify if such a claim is truly realistic?
Of course, we have a website https://cogitex.org/, Twitter https://twitter.com/Cogitex_CGTX and Telegram https://t.me/cogitex, where we publish news, reports and everything that happens with the token.

Thanks, I'll go check it. Let's see.
