721  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate? on: April 28, 2018, 02:48:27 PM
I would not advice investing in real estate under current circumstances. The prices have been going up for the past many years and a major correction is due in the next 2-3 years. Once that happens, the properties can lose as much as 50% of their value.
722  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will have a price of $50000 on: April 28, 2018, 02:44:35 PM
We've already hit the 20K mark in the past, so I won't be too surprised if the exchange rates rises to 50K in the medium to long term future. But I am not expecting it to happen at least until 2020.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fees on BlockChain are so high on: April 27, 2018, 11:52:18 AM
There has been a very small increase in the transaction fee, and it is within the tolerable limits. Two weeks back, I was paying as low as BTC0.0001 as the transaction fee. But yesterday, I had to pay a fee of BTC0.0005. Even then, it is still much better than the situation that we had during the end of 2017.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin like bitcoin? on: April 27, 2018, 11:46:46 AM
Please house, I will like to know whether out of the existing altcoins anyone of them has potential to be like bitcoin in the nearest future. I will appreciate if i can know the reason why because this will greatly assis me in planning my investment strategy. Thanks.

One coin which has been touted as a potential successor to Bitcoin is Monero. Due to its anonymity, it is being widely used in the dark markets and gambling sites. But recently, the coin has been lagging behind some of its competitors. Also, the government authorities are quite suspicious about it, for obvious reasons.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: April 27, 2018, 11:38:53 AM
I prefer long term because it is has a lot of profits than short term so whenever you hold bitcoin and ethereum keep hold to it and wait for it to grown then sell it whenever you feel it

You need to understand that long term doesn't always mean bigger profits. I am saying this out of my own experience. I invested in some alts in 2012 and held on to them when they were up 1,000% in an year. But after a few months, these coins started crashing and in the end they became completely worthless.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH worth buying now or wait? on: April 27, 2018, 11:36:58 AM
Logic tells me that it is better to make the purchase now. The number of users is going up with every passing month. And another important thing to keep in mind is the block reward halving, which is supposed to occur in 2020 (it will be having an impact on the ETH prices, as ETH-BTC prices are closely linked).
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: April 25, 2018, 05:24:32 PM
A few months back, BTC-e used to be one of my favorite exchanges. They never asked for any ID documentation, and I never had any issue with my funds until the FBI seized their domain.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: April 25, 2018, 05:20:49 PM
As of now, there are not many options to spend your Bitcoins. One option is to spend them on the dark markets (for non-contraband stuff such as antiques, collectibles, bullion coins.etc). But a lot many of us don't want to use the dark markets.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: April 25, 2018, 05:17:13 PM
I can't believe that he is really elusive...there are two options for me - he doesn't want to be revealed to the public for any reason....or he simply doesn't exist, and this legend was created by the titans of the economy, so that people believe in it....and for me the latter option is more real

The second option sounds quite ridiculous. Why should the "titans" create something that can destroy their business? It is similar to saying that Saudi Arabia is funding the research on electric cars.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Cashout BitCoins? on: April 25, 2018, 05:15:23 PM
Earlier I used to sell my Bitcoins for fiat cash (in the form of bank deposits) through localbitcoins. But I don't want to do that frequently, as there are tax related complications. Nowadays I mostly cash-out with the help of prepaid Bitcoin debit cards.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: April 25, 2018, 05:13:39 PM
The primary reason for poverty is overpopulation. Unless we are going to solve it, poverty will remain on this planet. And I don't understand how Bitcoin can help dealing with over-population. It is just ridiculous.
732  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India. on: April 24, 2018, 12:34:22 PM
Since bitcoins are being pushed in India with a lot of vigour, an inter-ministerial committee in India has been set up to study the legality of bitcoins in the country but until now nothing conclusive has come out.
I'm so happy that not only the country of Japan will support bitcoin but also in India.I hope a lot of possible happened coming from crypto currency that all nation support on it.

India is just the opposite of Japan as far as Bitcoin legality is concerned. The Japanese government want to encourage the use of crypto-currencies and regulate the market. On the other hand, the Indian government want to discourage its usage and seize funds from the crypto-users.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoins goal to end governments? on: April 24, 2018, 12:25:43 PM
Bitcoin can be a major threat to some of the governments (such as the one in Venezuela) which indulge in manipulating their national currencies. Bitcoin gives the freedom to the citizens of that country to protect their wealth from government seizure. That said, the normal governments don't have anything to fear from BTC or any other crypto-currency.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why investors invest in bitcoin though some of them loose it ? on: April 24, 2018, 12:22:42 PM
As per my knowledge, Some investors invest in bitcoin when the price reach to 20,000$ but now price is hardly more than 10000$.
Should they loose their money?
But still investors are invest in why ?

What sort of stupid question is this? There is nothing called a risk-free investment. Even if you invest in gold or the United States Treasury Bonds, there is a real chance of losing your money. The same argument is applicable for Bitcoin as well. With Bitcoin, the risk is higher. But so is the potential for greater returns.
735  Economy / Speculation / Re: The weekly trading volume of bitcoin in Venezuela reached $ 55 million. on: April 21, 2018, 02:31:34 PM
First of all, we don't know whether these figures are accurate or not. And secondly, trade volume of $55 million represents a daily volume of around $8 million. I just checked coinmarketcap, and according to that site, this amount represents less than 0.1% of the global Bitcoin trading volumes.
736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell ethereum or hold ? on: April 21, 2018, 02:25:12 PM
Selling any crypto-currency during the corruption phase will be akin to suicide. In my opinion, Ethereum has the potential to hit $2,000 per coin in the short-term (i.e within 2018). Selling the coins now is not advisable.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: in 2020 wich one will be higher bitcoin or ethereum ? on: April 21, 2018, 02:21:02 PM
My guess is that even in 2020, Ethereum will be having a lower market capitalization when compared to Bitcoin. Ethereum had its chances in 2017, but it couldn't capitalize on it. Now it is the turn of the other altcoins to compete with Bitcoin.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency kills people on: April 20, 2018, 07:22:42 PM
Another round of negative propaganda by Bill Gates. I would say that the number of people who have lost their lives as a result of Bitcoin is much lower than the number of those who lost their lives as a result of various actions by the Microsoft. Legal action by Microsoft against smaller competitors have ruined a lot of people and destroyed the career of lot many.
739  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: April 20, 2018, 07:13:43 PM
I think that this should happen no earlier than 10 years and many owners will be able to live up to that time and enjoy their fantastic profits. I hope that bitcoin will not disappoint me and us.

Nope.. If such a scenario happens, then it will happen within the next 2-3 years. Else, Bitcoin will be replaced by some other technology within the next few years. Bitcoin will survive in the long-term only if the market cap and user-base expands by some 5x to 10x.
740  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: April 20, 2018, 07:12:13 PM
Investing money on bitcoin is good idea but only when you are ready to wait for a long time. Looking on tendention of bitcoin price you will get your profit probably.

The point is to be patient with your investment. I wouldn't even say that there is a requirement for waiting for long term. When you feel that it is the time to sell, just convert your coins to fiat and enjoy your profits.
