7301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the impact of ICOs on the market? on: July 23, 2018, 05:35:13 PM

Every day we see dozens of new ICOs enter the market
Do you think this is useful for the market and to what degree?  Roll Eyes
I only recognize projects that do have significant use on real life usage. Top ranking coins doesnt mean that they are good yet most of them are still on test phase or not really contributing on real life usage. This is why i do see launching projects every now an then is just really flooding out the market with useless coins because we have seen that most of the time they do already have duplicate or just the same idea, so having more than one project is not already feasible or not good.
7302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best style of trading? example - overview on: July 23, 2018, 05:08:17 PM
There are four main styles of trading, namely scalping, day trading, swing trading, and position trading. Technically, scalping is a type of trading within day trading, but scalping is so different from all other forms of day trading. Choosing the trading style that best suits their personality can be a difficult task for new traders, but is absolutely necessary to their long-term success as a professional trader. If you are a new trader that does not yet feel as though you have found your trading style, the following are some of the personality traits that are compatible with the different styles of trading.
I would go for scalping yet this is what im doing now and i have test out all sorts of kind of trading and this do works well for me and it suits out my patience because im not really he person whos willing to wait for years on holding up my assets or coins this is why i do decide or risk on trying out scalping and you are right this is also part or similar of day trading. It does really require skills and experience because doing this without proper preparation then you would just burn out your money too fast. High risk = High reward but it wont really be that simple yet this took me years to be profitable.

7304  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT cryptonbattle.com cryptonhash.com bitcoineasybet.com on: July 21, 2018, 03:31:05 PM
Lol you mean they want you to deposit more money when you already won money from gambling? Why? Who would even do that? I mean if I won 2 bitcoin from gambling that means I WON 2 bitcoin from gambling, no need to invest any furhter, if it asks me to invest furhter I would totally close the website and move on with my life. Such a simple minded effort and I am sorry butif you fall for such a simple scam than your money and you soon parted.

Only desperate ones would definitely tend to sent out 10% of the winnings which it would be 0.2 BTC since its a 2 BTC winning but its completely dumb for you to proceed because even just using your own common sense you will able to find out on where this thing would be heading. Just to think that no gambling site would easily make you win upto 2 BTC in a simple way and even just basing on that logic you can already know that this is total fraud and also this post should be on scam accusations board and should be added some screenshots but its not really necessary at all yet its quite obvious.
7305  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-19] Billionaire Marc Lasry Sees Bitcoin's Price Reaching $40,000 on: July 21, 2018, 02:21:17 PM
~
Also, the article fails to state truth; he hasn't actually said that he invested 1% of his capital in Bitcoin. It's just that the value went up high enough to account for 1% of his worth right now. Based on his 'small' investment in Bitcoin it directly points out that it was done to counter the regular economy and the loss of value of his fiat wealth. Smart man he is.

He said he started investing in Bitcoin several years ago but also that he bought a lot more later when the price was around $5,000 - $7,500, so I think he actually invested around 1% of his own capital in Bitcoin, and considering that he has $1.7 billion in his personal fortune, according to Forbes, that's around $17 million, a pretty big money, which a guy like him wouldn't invest without thinking that BTC will rise much higher in the future. He's a smart guy, I agree.
Most investors specially the big ones would always have a doubt first into bitcoin but there were really guys that can see through its potential thats why they do made such decision which as you said its quite a smart thing or move had been done. 1% of his fortune to be invested would be just fine and besides this is the only analysis or price prediction thats somehow realistic yet it do only mention $40k which is reasonable unlike on others saying 60k-120k or even more. lol

He never said when he thinks BTC will be at $40k and if he meant somewhere in the far future, then it is a moderate prediction indeed, because many people, including me, were predicting $40k for the last quarter of this year (and I still think it's possible). Also I think that 120k in 10 years is a pretty reasonable prediction too. Bitcoin adoption has the potential to rise 200 times or even more, and if it weren't for the whales, the price would rise quite as much. Because of their selling along the road the price will hardly rise 200 times, but it can rise 20 times from where it is now.
Anything is possible with bitcoin and it doesnt stop to surprise us when it hit up prices which we do least expected and just like what happened when it reach $20000 in a short years span.
Theres a prediction but the fact we didnt really expect that thing to happen even to those early adopters where the price is still on few dollars some of them sold out and some do strongly believe and somehow forseen on its potential and bitcoin didnt break their expectations and hope this would happen again on future years to come specially crypto is already making a path for it to be adopted even more.
7306  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What methods to use to promote the project? on: July 21, 2018, 01:45:22 PM
Hello. We want to launch our own project and may be you can advise us good methods to promote it.

What kind of project would you love to implement? since all advertisement strategies will depends on what vision you have to implement it. And by the way the commonly used by the advertisers are social media campaigns, signature campaigns, youtube campaigns and any other form you can see on bounty camp. You can also buy an adspace from known site and possibly you may get some higher traffic and also if your project plans to run a ICO a Icolisting good site will be much better to gather more attention.
No matter what kind of project but since his on bitcoin forum then its probably a crypto related project and when it comes to promotion then we would able to tell him about the common ones and this is thru Bounties, ads on related crypto forum and on social media yet these things are the common mediums where most project owners would target out to get potential investors. It sounds basic but this do actually works.

Have you found good ideas for your project?
Seems op didnt tend to visit this thread again and read up on where most people do suggest on either he do read it up or completely forgot.
7307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: www.Myetherwallet.com and Mycrypto.com ? on: July 21, 2018, 10:52:40 AM
https://www.myetherwallet.com and https://mycrypto.com, What are the two different points? Which is safer? Which gas is cheaper?

As far as I know, mycrypto was born out of the quarrels from former devs of MEW and investors. Mew was founded by two person Taylor Monahan (Tayvano) and Kosala Hemachandra (Kvhnuke). But last February, everyone was surprised that Hemachandra separated from MEW and found his own mycrypto to rival MEW and then the rest is history. So I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of similarities between them, my personally I'm a MEW person so I have no idea which one is cheaper or safer. And I guess 90% of us still prefers MEW.
Didnt know such information and thanks for the share up and if thats the case then there would be no major difference among two wallets.Ive checked it out and its really just almost identical but i agree most people would just stick out on the common erc20 token wallet which is MEW but still a good thing yet we do have another options but when it comes to service that it gives or on main purpose its just the same.
Security of wallet will always matter with the user itself.
7308  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡SLIP.GG | The World’s Biggest Roulette Table on: July 21, 2018, 04:38:07 AM
Why does anyone need your roulette site over the hundreds of others ?

Also, why create an account just to view the site?

We have a real-time site that you can play with a bunch of people.

You create an account because that's the way the site works. You can use code "slip" to get free $0.50 of btc and start playing.

Let us know what you think! Your feedback is greatly appreciated  Smiley
This is an another roulette game and i remember some sites like this one but this do have faster yet you do need to bet 15 seconds before the roll starts. The thing i do see most of players on autobet i dont know if those are real-time players or bots yet bets doesnt go below 100 bets anytime and i observed only 2-3 people talks in the chatbox?
7309  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-20]JPMorgan Bets On Bitcoin, Five Other Cryptos to Survive Long Term on: July 20, 2018, 06:48:02 PM
Just because a lot of competitors have emerged, doesn't mean that they will win - they are all pretty bad, centralized and vulnerable, just like Ethereum.

The good thing is that the competition will make sure that Ethereum starts bleeding, especially so with how EOS is forming a real threat. When more economical activity is heading to EOS with all the ICO and airdrop nonsense, the users will follow with how greed obsessed they are. Ethereum has no other real world use and purpose than to function as platform for fraudulent ICO's and whatnot. I actually enjoy reading through the Ethereum versus EOS trash talk. If you have free time on your hands definitely dive into it, it's very amusing how both camps are literally trashing each other. I got my popcorn ready for more crypto drama.  Cheesy
Have also my popcorn too and it would be exciting on how EOS and ETH would end up either this year or on next but basing on what we are seeing now we can picture out on where ETH would go.
Im not even surprised how JP morgan change his views once again and now betting with crypto? They do already realize that theres no point on attacking crypto or trashtalking and now they are choosing coins which would survive. The thing i dont like in the selection is XRP.
7310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Forkdelta safe platform for trading??? on: July 20, 2018, 06:15:05 PM
FOrkdelta is a safe platform
because it has a great actions in their goals and they have lots of people who are supporting their services and legacy in this journey in cryptocurrency industry.

A decentralized exchange site forkdelta is safe Im using it for a couple of month and Im no problem with this exchange site most of my erc20 token are listed in this exchange site Im not happy with the platfrom and design hoping tge developer improve it to attract more investor Im must compatible to use idex it easy to use but I have no choose besause some of my altcoin listed in forkdelta.
IDEX is more comfortable (and safe) platform than Forkdelta. FD is just Etherdelta clone that scamed. We don't even know who is owner of Forkdelta. May be same guys that has ED.
Its just been part of the Etherdelta team for those person who do create ForkDelta itself which it is just simply means that these two DEX are total identical and i dont see anything specially whether you choose up ED or Forkdelta and i agree on the thing you said which i do feel somehow safer with IDEX when it comes to decentralized exchange because you do have the option for you to import on using up Metamask.
7311  Economy / Gambling / Re: Telegram Dice Gambling Bot (BTC/LTC/DOGE) on: July 20, 2018, 05:30:30 PM
Im not sure what can you offer players to gamble in telegram which is very difficult to navigate comparing to web based gambling sites that has colorful and lively pictures.

not everyone wants to go to a specialized gambling site, register there etc.
they do not compete with the monsters like PD,Bitsler,c-games etc.
they are trying to get some people who are using telegram and would like to put an occasional smallish bet or two
but yes,the target audience is very limited and I don't think it is going to be any success, frankly
They do already know that they dont have a match for those sites who have been here for a while and its just useless to think for them to compete since they are still relying on Telegram dice bot not really the same with casual dice sites that do operate independently and already established reputation after all these years and we do see lots of sites similar to these but end up on disappearing because its not really fun at all to play with just a basic chat command or clicking.
7312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO and BOunty will End? on: July 19, 2018, 10:40:43 PM
Hope that this will not happen. Because bounty, icos and cryptocurrencies are my life. I am spending too much time by doing all of them and without them my life will totally change, I will not have dream job anymore Sad. Scarry.
There are really people used to be fully dependent with bounty earnings and for sure you arent the only one who have done such thing. In this case this would be a scary thing if bounty and ICO would end yet you would really lose up the source of income but answering the question as long the cryptomarket cycles these bounties and ico's would still exist but sooner or later ICO would be regulated and i would much prefer because nowadays more projects turn out to be scam on high rate and with such regulation these would be lessen up for sure and its good to see or filter out legit ones to the pool of fraud ico.
7313  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] ░ Godex.io - NEW EXCHANGER WITH FULL PRIVACY FEATURE ░ on: July 19, 2018, 10:11:46 PM
I am using it since Zencash has been added. I like the site itself and its user interface, the main reason I am using Godex.io is we don't need to sign up to create an account. I know very soon we will have Visa/Mastercard hence I wanted to ask: will we have a KYC/AML verification once Godex adds Visa/MC ?
Thanks for the feedback! The integration of visa and MasterCard payment systems is planned for the near future. But the adoption of KYC/AML policy is a mandatory requirement of VISA and MC. Therefore, we decide whether we want to deny our users of privacy (which is highly undesirable way and it contraries to the philosophy of our service) for the implementation of banking payment systems. A possible solution is a compromise, consisting in a premature warning of users about possible personal data requests, but with an option of remaining anonymous without the use of cash
Still good to hear out yet you would still have the option on being anonymous incase you embrace that visa and mastercard payment systems and as long it wont involve cash then this wont really be a bothersome for you.
Im seeing out similar exchangers do pop-out recently which do completely offering the same where shapeshift can do. The feature i do like on exchange coins into other coins where you can easily see available coins to be converted yet they would be displayed white for available and gray is for non.
7314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychology of waiting on: July 19, 2018, 07:32:34 PM
Humans are wired in terms of two things, one is a fear of a pessimistic future and the other is the surety of the present condition our psychology says that whats right now with is us possibly the best state we can be in so we choose today comfortability over tomorrow's fortune,
We do only have two things when it comes to perception on where it would be either being optimistic or being pessimistic and these things can really test out our patience specially when we do already talk about the waiting game where we do have coin holdings which are on dump state or shall we say we are on a very deep negative portfolio. Patience will really be a great factor on what would be the possible things do happen with our investment. If you do have short temper then expect you would do things that will really put you in more trouble.
7315  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ SPL | 💰 The world biggest lottery 💰 | Up to 10,000,000 ETH to win ✅ on: July 19, 2018, 06:39:10 PM
Its an another lottery game launched in the market and we are not talking millions here but Zillions.! Woah. Just as said above the site just look like school project where im even confused where i can actually make a bet.
Im not affiliated with this site or lottery game https://exitscam.me/play but this is too far away compared to your site and this is how you should make some interesting lottery game and not just using up "Zillion" word just to attract people. It wont work anytime.
7316  Economy / Services / Re: ICO Bench reviews on: July 19, 2018, 06:04:28 PM
I would avoid icobench, they are money greedy )) never lists any ICO free. on top of that they will put scams at top rating

https://www.reddit.com/r/icocrypto/comments/77592z/scam_endorse_by_icobench/
https://www.reddit.com/r/icocrypto/comments/8p5mh8/dont_trust_icobench_trash_99_455_failed/
and loads more.
With these things it can really mainly affect icobench reputation but well theres still some options or sites but totally i dont even relying on how these review sites do recommend. I dont trust up anyone of them.

This type of "services" should be banned. Most likely it's a scam and if not... Well, it is supposed to cost a fortune to buy out a credit from any of top10 advisors and actually make the whole platform completely far-fetched.
Agree, its not really proper to condone this kind of act yet in any angle i can see this as an illegal thing because this is purely deceiving potential investors.

Edit: Can this thread be locked? neither OP itself or mod.  Roll Eyes
7317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about paying moneytoken / IMT tokens for campaign participants on: July 19, 2018, 05:21:19 PM
Should this post would be placed up here? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=227.0

I didnt see any links  between op's account and the other participant. I dont know if i do miss something but having those alterations isnt really good specially when handling a bounty campaign.
This is really a way on reducing payout and to talk about sudden payout change then its not new for this market and i have seen lots of similar situations because most projects will based on the token that they had sold and they cant really just imply the said fix allocation for bounty which just a normal thing to be done.
7318  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Convenient And Safe Cryptocurrency Exchanger on: July 19, 2018, 04:13:17 PM
well
another changelly services
i am not call it safe even scam.
because actually i dont know how its work for you
for profit i mean.
for review
most of them just erc20 token, as far i know , erc20 its very dangerious price,
so fluctuactive.

actually for business like this.
trusting rate it's important.

Trust rating would always matter when it comes to new service. I have seen this is just an another exchange or swap service same like shapeshift and changelly but commonly and im aware that shapeshift is more popular and trust as of this recent times. Ive seen the number of coins that you can swap exceeds shapeshift itself which i doubt if this would be legit or not yet i cant see any feedbacks as now.
Use this site on your own risk.
7319  Economy / Marketplace / Re: A tool to avoid scammers on: July 19, 2018, 03:16:21 PM
Much better display than I've seen on some sites. Actually this looks a lot like a working version of some blockchain projects I know of attempting to create some kind of similar influencer platform, with the difference that this is centralised and this doesn't seem to offer their services.

I'm not a big believer of this type of marketing, but I know that influencer marketing at least seems to work a lot better for companies these days. People want/need someone else to follow.

Curious about engagement ratios, what kind of filters or do all likes/comments count as engagement? That's quite easy to boost these days too.
This is also my question if those likes/comments would really be just considered to be a pure interest or not and as you said these things are easy to boost.
Im not really a fan on checking out influencers but these things would be good for some people to get some basis but in the end this would really still depend on your own decisions, preference and research.
7320  Economy / Gambling / Re: Project Bravio on: July 18, 2018, 09:04:32 PM

Every gambling website is more luck than skill. Bustabit is about being lucky enough to cashout before it crashes on a certain number. PrimeDice is about being lucky enough to get below/above a number. SatoshiMines is about being lucky enough to not hit a mine.

Luck and skill aren't mutually exclusive. Both can exist. It's just about ratio of luck to skill. It's possible to be strategic in games like BustaBit, PrimeDice and SatoshiMines but at the end of the day they all depend on luck. That's gambling.

no not really , all the games and sites that you mentioned are purely luck and there is no skill involved
but you are tying to promote your site as a skill game but there is no skill at all not even 1% , it's a pure lottery and it's so wrong to say it's skill

I think there is a misunderstanding as to how this works. Please allow me to clarify: this isn't just a lottery website. There aren't any tickets to buy. There will be a count down. This is when people will be able to enter. You can absolutely skill and analyze whether to enter or not. There is skill, but it is luck as well, just like anywhere else.

I don't think you understand how it works. THERE IS NO SKILL there. And let me explain why. You claim that timing is important because you can "snipe" someone by betting big if you see small pot. But let me ask you. Does timing affect my chances of winning ? In other words will I have better chances of winning if I come in late ? The answer is no. And lets see the example. There is 100$ pot and I put in 900$ before timers runs out. I own 90% of the tickets and have 90% chance to win. The other scenario, I put in 900$ straight away (people may or may not want to bet after that) and someone put in 100$ after me. I still have the same 90% change of winning. So the conclusion is timing does not affect my chances of winning so I don't need any skill to win, just luck.

And you should understand what your game is, which is a lottery. Yes you cannot buy tickets up front but its the ticket system in the back. Each satoshi = 1 ticket maybe or something like that. So, it is just a pure lottery website.

I don't want to be misunderstood, I have nothing against you or your website but what you are doing is false advertisement which is not okay. I told you before and I'm telling you again, those type of website don't work with Bitcoin community. They work with CS:GO skins because its mostly kids trying to "get rich" and then loosing it all. Bitcoin community is a bit more mature than that in my mind. There was a lot of attempts of creating (copying) CS:GO jackpot and all of them failed.
OP trying to push that skill thing and it do actually pushes me too on how that CS:GO thingy works and out of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhGZ4Wo8WbY It do really acts as a roulette and i cant say timing wont really be a big factor yet chances would be still just the same. When you tried up to watch the video that dude do have 93% chance but still he almost lose up the pot to other guy which do have 7% chance.
I dont even see the skill required on here.
