I fired up the exe and the blockchain synced with no issues.
So who is still mining this?

7391  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Old bitfury H-Cards [US] on: June 08, 2016, 11:52:17 AM
what hashrate do these run at?
~ 30ghs a card so I would say 300 for the lot.
Keep in mind this is not a plug & play solution.
It's more of an assemble & tinker thing.
You will still need to get the RPi and find or compile the software.

7392  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Old bitfury H-Cards [US] on: June 07, 2016, 07:12:24 PM
I was cleaning up and found some (10) of them.
all v 2.2 as shown.

There is also a M-Card and a Spotswood Frame that has been taken apart, I think all the pieces are there.

Make me an offer on any / all of it.

It was all working when I took it apart. But I have no idea if anything went bad since then.

Heck Yeah!

Dave you are rich. You're up to your noodle in red sauce.
I'm glad you are having fun with the chain too.

Earlier this year I was looking around for the original entries and submissions to the logo contest so the artwork could be integrated into a wallet update.
I do a little bit of scratching my head over here with the Gitian builds on OS X / Windows and Linux and put some time in progressing this project since His-Holy-Noodliness hasn't been active in the project any longer.

Want to buddy up with me as a "major stakeholder" and help test new wallets over time and ensure the chain remains alive?

Kind Regards,
-Chicago

Sounds good to me.

I can see a few other people mining / having active nodes on the chain too. So, it's not that dead.

I will also say that if we get it more alive / on an exchange I have no problem burning most of these coins.

So, I have been playing around and discovered I am a 1%er.

Yes that is correct I have more then 1% of all the NDL.

So, anybody want them?

Yes
It's simple and fun to play.
What do we need to improve?
Browser compatibility. See below.
What device and version of browser you are using?
A clean install of Win 10 both FireFox and Chrome would not load the site. Same black screen that everyone else was talking about. IE / Edge works fine. Also tested on a Linux Mint same just black screen with FireFox

7398  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: May 04, 2016, 11:57:43 AM
you only need more RAM if your on winblows. their mapping SysRAM with GPURAM.

Yes I'm on Windows.
Is there any upper limit on the amount of RAM it will take?
Or will it eventually work it's way through 16 GB and crash again?
Thanks,
Dave
7399  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: April 23, 2016, 02:47:22 PM
More info. I added some RAM to the system and it kept going for almost 2 days before crashing.
I'm thinking something in one of the windows updates is causing some kind of memory leak in the program or the driver, but that is a guess at best.

I'll throw in another 4GB stick later in the week and try again.

-Dave

The computer doesn't need more Ram (all the work is being done on the GPU).  Have you updated your GPU's drivers?

OgNasty made a patch, search this thread for "LifeBoat"
That's the one I'm using.
I know system RAM should not matter, but @ 2 GB it will never make more then 18 hours. With 4 it makes it more then double that.

Latest NVIDIA drivers are installed.

-Dave

It's definitely something with system RAM
2 GB = 18 hrs before crash
4 GB = Almost 2 days before crash
8 GB = Over 3 1/2 days and still going....

However, I noticed that according to task manager it's not using that much memory. Very odd.

Also, dose anyone know the reason why it's using 50% CPU when all I have it doing is mining the the graphics card?
