741  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How do you feel about not psysically know people from the forum? on: October 01, 2018, 10:44:04 PM
I especially ask those of you who have been here more than two years, although all comments are welcome.

On the forum, you interact with people every day but you only see a nickname.

I’ve been on other forums before and you get one day when someone says that a certain member has died. That person knew him personally and that is why is saying it on the forum. And then, you think of some debates you shared with him, but all you can remember of him is a soul hidden under a nickname. You feel a bit sad, but not nearly as sad as if you had meet him in person.

I’ve been thinking that I’ll probably be on this forum for many years, getting increasingly involved, and then I think that all people I’ll interact with are souls hidden under nicknames.

In any kind of forum it is good to not personally know many people for privacy reasons (unless they were your friends before), but especially on this one it is more important. If you have been here for many years, you are probably loaded, and that’s why you have to be careful.

For me, the forum is motivating but has this a bit sad part.

Yes to me I feel kinda awkward, due to I can't see any one picture I just see nicknames and I believe this forum is the largest of it all in the Crypto atmosphere which in terms we say this is where the journey of bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency start and I believe lots of billionaires and millionaires came out from this forum. Definitely is a big room getting to know any one. Adding to that I guess it keeps your identity safe with you.
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GOOD NEWS!!! South Korea on BITCOIN on: October 01, 2018, 10:37:36 PM
The South Korea taking their move on regulating Bitcoin.

The government’s stance and actions thus far indicate an interest in encouraging blockchain technology and the growth of cryptocurrencies, but not at the expense of safety and security. Stated one trade ministry official:

"Any major reversal in policies is unlikely, but the government seems to believe a gradual shift in attitude toward crypto-based assets is needed. What regulators should do is figure out how to regulate them properly and prudently as Korea needs to put more emphasis on blockchain technology after obtaining knowhow and understanding of the possible flipside of cryptocurrency trading."

To be sincere I love to hear Good news regarding bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency, which really give hopes that bitcoin is here to stay.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Question to all Bounty Hunters. on: October 01, 2018, 10:33:30 PM
I just got into Bounties hunting newly and I get to start up during this bearish market state which the sum of token one will get is not even worth $50 to $100, and at most cases most projects just hang up on the way some also will take time to pay up which is really complicated. We just hope things turn out good soon.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: September 30, 2018, 10:20:11 PM
In the spirit of mass adoptions we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin? At some point people would want to feel safe in not tying their credit cards to any online payment gateway. Your thoughts?

This is a good idea in my own side, if this development is adopted People will as well feel save than exposing their credit card details and other information on transactions. I would like to see this idea take place in future ahead because it will really save alot of online hijack of credit card or security breach.
745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I daily earn 10% on: September 30, 2018, 10:13:48 PM
In this market it is very difficult to make 10%. This is a very high percentage even for a monthly profit. In 2017, it looked real.

Of course it is high but if he is good in its strategy and how to achieve the goal I think 10% is not too bad for a start.
746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I daily earn 10% on: September 30, 2018, 10:11:49 PM
Hello, I am newbie in trading. I start trading for make some profit
Would it be possible to make 10% of your capital every day?

This would be 300% in a month, this is a lot.

It really comes to your capital:

If I invest 200$ and 10% of 200 would be come 20$ daily and one month come 600$
...

If I trying hard daily profit 10% huge profit come in one month

Actually trading depends on your capitals and the strategies you set for your goals, and also not all days market is green, which in turns the market conditions will affect your goals so you might in most chances not get a win win. And if you are good a enough in day trade you should hit 20% or more.

749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 29, 2018, 09:11:04 PM
Hi I just got some extra money and I'm looking to invest, I want to invest in BTC but the price is too high for me,  what do you think will be the next BTC
one you can buy low and make a good profit when it burst?

I will recommend you read and study the market before you get in, investing into BTC what I always recommend for Newbies is to study how Cryptocurrency works is not all about buying low and sell high there are other factors you need to look after 1. Your capital you want to invest and how you want to invest in.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your top picks on IDEX on: September 28, 2018, 10:25:51 PM
Hello people, What are you top picks alts on IDEX? What is  their potential? I trade now Talao, but to be honest the whole trade is based on beliefs. What about you trades?

I have some TALAO Coin with me but trading on IDEX is kind of complicated to me due to its Decentralized Exchanger and am not use to it. I just believe they should hit another centralized Exchanger which can be easily access. TALAO is a good pick I presume.
751  Other / Serious discussion / Re: CRYPTO IS IN AFRICA TO STAY on: September 28, 2018, 10:19:23 PM
Block chain in Africa is similar to internet and mobile phones in Africa. It seems complicated when introducing but later becomes a great too for their development.
the development of blockchain technology is too difficult in Africa because the infrastructure development is still low, it is very rare for me to find the success of ICO projects to be developed in Africa, everything is difficult to develop

I think everything is due to time and adoption, if it's been give a trial we never can tell it will turn out a success. Am an African which you see I came to love and know about Cryptocurrency even before it became most popular which in terms I heard it was around the corner but wasn't taken serious to be this large in the future and today many people are into Cryptocurrency.
752  Other / Serious discussion / Re: CRYPTO IS IN AFRICA TO STAY on: September 28, 2018, 10:13:47 PM
The Kenyan Government (to the blondes - Kenya is a country in Africa) is planning to build a blockchain to support digitalization of their services especially the land registry and other ministries.

It must be hard for some countries to see that they are banning crypto and some African ones are opening to adopt for the future lies in the crypto and blockchain technologies

For sure this a welcomed development to for me CRYPTO coming into Africa, by the way most people in Nigeria have already been into Cryptocurrency right from day one and which have already in terms change the lives of many. I really welcomed this great opportunity.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaign for NEWBIE? on: September 28, 2018, 10:09:42 PM
Someone help newbie to find Bounty threads for newbie or comment link  . THANK YOU

I think some projects still accepts NEWBIES ACCOUNTS  except for the signatures, and another way to partake in signature is for you to buy a copper member and you are good to go or better still write a good content and get merits.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google to lift part of its cryptocurrency ad ban by October, I see bull market on: September 27, 2018, 08:09:08 PM
Google will remove part of its cryptocurrency ad ban in October to allow regulated crypto exchanges to advertise in the United States and Japan.
Advertisers will need to be certified with Google for the specific country in which their ads will serve. Advertisers will be able to apply for certification once the policy launches in October.
What do you think about this development, will October be the month Crypto market starts its bull run ?

Source: https://support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/9142422

Actually when I saw this update, what came to my mind was the same thinking you have at the back of your mind i sense bull run is at the corner. Advertisement really will swing back bitcoin into the game.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: September 26, 2018, 09:43:52 PM
Guys we are very much aware how the crypto community through this great forum has helped most of us in terms of our finances but is so heartbreaking that the most of the public views only describes how insecure and unsafe the crypto community is. I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if  crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?

To me helping someone who don't want to know or learn about Cryptocurrency is a big waste of time. I my self have coached some folks out there whom have really gain a lot from Cryptocurrency early last year entering this year. All o could say to this learning something is from the mindset of an individual. And mind you no body is a professional in CRYPTO we all learn every Day.
756  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you really care if your data is exploited?? on: September 25, 2018, 10:54:11 PM
To be honest with this I don't like my personal data to be exposed for any reason because it will really endanger my reputation on the globe.
757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market on: September 25, 2018, 10:44:08 PM
How much of an increase is considered as a "bull market"

Actually I get into Cryptocurrency last year which I really don't know how high it was but regarding to this year I think is going to beat last year I see Many analysts are still predicting anywhere from $25,000 -$40,000 Bitcoin prices in the near-term. If BTC can go from $2651 on this date in 2017 to almost $20k by December why can’t it go from today’s “sagging” price of $6168 to over $30k over the next 6–8 months? Bitcoin is still the gold standard of all cryptocurrencies.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the cryptocurrency market? on: September 25, 2018, 10:34:11 PM
If you’re still in crypto after you’ve:

- been scammed
- been dumped on
- woken up in complete shock
- bought the top of a pump
- panic sold the bottom
- listened to Official McScamFee

Say me why do you still believe in the crypto Smiley

In the next 5 years I can picture how crypto will be the world most used currency, lots of lots of people are still coming into Cryptocurrency, all of these you mentioned above I have fall victim of some. Which have already made cool cash out of it as well so crypto is the future.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: September 24, 2018, 10:43:14 PM
HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET
Protect yourself from cyber criminals

Good day to all of you guys I am EdsnowAngel a programmer and a bit security tester in different platforms. Now I heard to my friends a lot of concerns saying "please help me my bitcoin wallet was hacked!!"
Ok ok first thing first when your bitcoin wallet gets compromised then your funds was send in different wallet then it is irreversible meaning no return of funds!! so I wanna tell everyone how to protect your bitcoin wallet from such kind of situation.

1st: Protect your GMAIL or EMAIL ACCOUNT

We all know we use GMAIL as our email provider for such accounts like blockchain then we can recover and approve login with email in some wallets, now when your email account was targeted and get compromised then say goodbye to your bitcoin. To secure your bitcoin wallet(ex: blockchain or other) go to your google account settings. and then turn on the 2FA(2nd factor authentication) here is the guide on how to do it: STEP BY STEP GUIDE

2nd: Use your own DEVICE or COMPUTER/PHONE

It's a very bad idea to use someones device(ex:from friend) to make a transaction in your bitcoin wallet why? because first you don't know what is the capability of that person regarding that matters and you don't know if that phone has a lot of malwares and spywares. So we cannot say that you are safe using someones device to make transactions.

3rd: Always backup you PK's or PRIVATE KEYS

This is the most important thing to remember for everyone using your ETH or BTC wallet without backing up your Private keys then you can't recover you wallet in case you forgot your wallet.PK's are very important but there are thing you should do first. Make sure you store your PK backup somewhere that you only know and not from your computer because there are some spyware that might inside of your computer that can steal that file so make sure you back it up print in a paper and hide it to the place where you only know.

4th: Don't open links from malicious emails

This method was called email phishing where an attacker will send the same email in thousands of random users once the victim will click the link in that email then his or her device was compromised to avoid this please do not click the links included in the email immediately please always have time to check who is the sender of that email and if that email is came from the site where it supposed to came from.

5th: Do not trust PUBLIC WIFI

It's quite good to have access with free wifi's but have you think this: IS THIS A SAFE NETWORK? without you knowing maybe some of the people connected to that same network may have idea and skill on how to sniff passwords and credentials this method was so called DNS SPOOFING or SNIFFING if you want to use public wifi then use it not just with your bitcoin transactions.

6th: Do not login on Suspicious links

This method is called PHISHING where an attacker  will send you a link to login with your bitcoin wallet luring you with the legitimate site example is:
the real site is: https://www.blockchain.info/
the fake site is: http://www.blockchain.ga/

then once you login to the fake site then the hacker or attacker will have now your credentials. Please always check for the green lock on the url bar and the word HTTPS in the link.

so this are some of the way to stop hackers to hack your bitcoin or crypto wallet. If you have other information then you can comment it down and lets help others.

I will also like to recommend IMTOKEN WALLET I guesost of us know about the App it works offline as well which getting the private key and the rest of it all is simple and when recommending saving your private key I don't recommend you safe it on cloud, a good way to save it is on your diary or write it down at the back of your pictures. Where you will not get to misplaced it and better still you can go ahead Saving it in a flash drive.
