Didn't you buy some of these for $525 a couple weeks ago on these boards?

Don't think you can use CPU 8pin to power GPU's only pcie 6/8 pins.

Does this work on fine on windows 7? It says "Requires Windows 8/8.1/10 64 bit" but I've never seen software that works on 8 but not 7.
Just use free windows 10 problem solved.

I have bought 2400W kit (PSU + BO board + all cables) in the past from Parallerminer guys for under $100. Now they are at $225 and yet sold out. Does anyone know where can I buy Delta 2400W Power supply (DPS-2400-AB I think) or any other server PSU above 2000W that can be used for 13 cards GPU mining?
I currently have a couple rigs with 2x 1200W HP supplies but I will prefer a 2400W one.
Also while I am at it, is PICO PSU a good idea to power 13 GPU Mobo (CPU+Mobo+ 2 x molex + SSD)?
https://www.centrix-intl.com/list.asp?Parent2ID=1&categoryID=11 Pretty sure this is were parallelminer gets all their stock from, and Centrix actually responds to emails in a timely manner. So I would contact them and see when they expect new stock.

Still expanding all the way. I am flying to my farm with 54 more 1070ti. Probably getting another 50 after setting up. Holding equal value in coins and rigs. With the recent rise in eth I have a surplus of coins waiting to be converted to rigs. Maybe I'll stop expansion 2 months before volta.
However I am not the biggest fan of dagger hashimoto (eth) mining because of potential POS switch and big farms are mining it. Unlikely eth will become more profitable than shitcoins and small cap coins that nvidia does well at. I just buy hold eth instead. I have enough 1080ti to hash small caps, now getting some equihash optimized cards (1070ti).
For 13 gpu rig, 570 4gb and 1060 3gb has the fastest payback period. I'm not sure if it's possible to run 13x vega yet.
I made a big call today - sold 90% of coins and bought more GPU's. Right now I'm 'even' cash wise with $20k in equip. I hear this logic , but those big farms will all switch equihash anyways when POS happens , might as well get the cheapest cards. two 570s can do the work of 1 1070ti for a lower price $225 per card never understood why people buy cards that cost near $600 I think it comes down to Nvidia being more user friendly and less time consuming to tweak. Some people enjoy BIOS modding and optimizing power with AMD and some people just don't want to be bothered or don't have the time.

One is the old refrence cooler and the other is OC'd with custom cooler and needs three 8pin power connectors.

He just had a good string of luck finding shares and is saying his 6hr average is 29mh/s. Nothing to see here.

Does anyone see any issue with taking one of the VGA strands that has an 8pin and 6pin on it and using the 8pin on the top of the card and the 6pin on a riser of another card? both cards powered by same PSU.
No that should be fine for rx 4xx/5xx GPU.

Thanks Poop.
Evga and Powermaster use different style that are not interchangeable so that is OK. The coolermaster is powering the mother board 24 pin and 8pin cpu cable. All the GPU's are plugged into risers....so none are plugged directly into the motherboard.
Any more ideas?
Ah ok, the way you worded it sounded like you had a GPU plugged into the motherboard directly. Risers are usually the first things to fail so I would just try a new Riser for the GPU that made a pop and double check the connections and cables.

|
I would start by asking if you used only Evga cables to plug into the EVGA PSU and same with the coolermaster. Some PSU manufactures wire their inputs differently and could cause problem if you use a cable other than what is provided.
Is the Evga PSU powering the Motherboard 24pin and 8pin power? You don't want to power GPU's with an external power source if they are plugged directly into the motherboards PCIe slot recieving pcie power from another source.

You are paying far too much for that motherboard. Look at Newegg or another retailer.
The graphics cards are overpriced for the 4GB version.
1x 4GB DDR4 RAM is probably fine, so it's up to you if you want that extra stick.
Running 12x 580s on 2x 1000W PSUs is going to be a bit of a stretch, even after messing with clock settings. Did you check if you'll have enough connectors for all of your cards and risers?
Newegg is out of stock for that motherboard. Video cards are similar price at newegg and Amazon. Good point about the connectors! I just realized you probably are only here to promote your site.

Hi guys,
i'm pretty beginner on mining coins... and i have some questions about how it works...
Since now i was mining VTC and it was all okay, but on crypto-coinz it looked that Bulwark had a better profit per day to mine...
I mined now since 20h and i have only 6 BWK.... and that's not worth it... i don't understand how this all is calculated and why i'm mining so less with my powerful rig, i also wanna know if it's better for me to mine in a pool solo ? or to join other hashrate in a big pool (like zpool etc) ? thank you for your advice guys !
I mine 10 BWK with six 1070's every 24hrs so you are doing something very wrong. I think you should be pulling 68mh/s per 1080ti, not sure which nist5 miner is optimized for 1080's, i think its ccminer Klaust, and yeah just stick with a pool like bsod or umine for bwk.

Not that great for the money you are spending. Suggest you get rx 570 or 580 8GB versions, not 4GB. I would avoid the MSI armor and get Gaming or gaming X if you want MSI. Also I would get G2 EVGA 1300w PSU's over GQ.

Fwiw - I was a windows only guy. But phil and a few others here talking about smos all the time has me converted. The only problem with smos is no wifi. Which I have a few rigs on wifi to spread them out throughout my house.
You could switch to power line adapters. Wifi can be problematic with random deadzones and electromagnetic interference from GPU's.

As a test I risked and put an order on this site. They have sent me an e-mail promising to do the shipment in Dec. 18 Good for now, isn't it? They actually send e-mails and confirm the payment great! I'll keep you informed about each single event how much shipping cost did they hit u with? not too much around 9$ or so. FYI: They have confirmed my payment and now I'm just waiting for the package to be shipped on Monday (as they have promised) and being sent the tracking number immediately, so, I should get first actual feedbacks from a third party (DHL) tomorrow which should confirm that 'something' has been posted for me by the seller. in before "I got mailed a box of rocks". For real though I hope you get something usable at least.
