741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 16, 2020, 09:48:45 AM
I watched a Youtube video last night about the food merchants in some of the markets in Wuhan <China> and I noticed that most of them are using electronic payment methods to pay for goods. < Wechat Pay >

Ok, it is not Bitcoin, but if more merchants using Fiat currency can switch over to Bitcoin, you might see less infections. The reason for this is simple, because the Corona virus can be transmitted from person to person via cash being used on a daily basis.

People can also do online payments with Bitcoin to avoid handling physical cash and thus avoiding infection. It can also prevent people from being infected from a host of other viruses and bacteria that can survive for days on physical coins and notes.

This is just one more reason for people to move away from physical payment methods and shifting to a cash-less financial system in the future.  Wink
Your idea is great especially that we are facing this kind of situation where anyone can be infected easily by just receiving the fiat payment. If we will just use our cellphones and we will use digital payment then we can lessen the chance to be infected by other people who have the virus.

This is the right time for the infected area to use this kind of payment even if they will not use bitcoin as long as they will stay away from fiat payment as of the moment. And they can just resume the usage of fiat once they will be virus free already.
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Searches of Bitcoin on: February 16, 2020, 09:23:18 AM
Google Searches of bitcoin is up 33% because of the trending market price of 10,000$

We also have bitcoin halving google searches that increase since there are only 3months before the bitcoin halving.

Reference:
https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-google-searches-surge-as-crypto-bulls-gather-momentum/

This is because the price is bitcoin is steadily increasing and a 37% increase of bitcoin price in less than two months is surprisingly unexpected and other are very excited for it as it is the best chance to change the market from bear into bull.

The hype is very sharp because of the upcoming halving and the searches goes that high because of this reason. Bitcoin still dominating other currencies and believe me or not, the prices of other currencies are very dependent to bitcoin.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 16, 2020, 08:39:47 AM
Ripple affected very badly before few days and created amid tension on the Investors, there was lot of excitement as the third largest crypto will soar the market but unfortunately it stills seems to be in bear. However analyst say to hold till the end to the year to see a massive rally on XRP, hopefully XRP will surprise the investors in upcoming days.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsbtc.com/2020/02/15/analysis-predicted-ripple-xrp-17-cent-bottom-200-rally/amp/
Upon checking the progress of XRP, it is doing a steady increase so far if we will check it's grap from December 2019 until now.

So the chances that XRP will make an epic rally this year is pretty high the same with other potential currencies like ethereum, monero, litecoin, binance and bitcoin. This year will be the best time to invest as the market is starting to rally upward and the setbacks are only minimal.
744  Economy / Speculation / Re: should I buy now? on: February 16, 2020, 07:18:45 AM
I did  buy in bitcoin over a month ago 7k the plan is  to be a long-term hold.  Now I have about 20% more to buy in with, with the prices so high and everything I was going to buy some Altcoins Mainly Ethereum Or more bitcoin.
This Is the hard part of my plan trying to figure out should I just hold onto the cash in my account and see what the prices do?
There is still room for crypto prices to increase so everyday is an opportunity to profit if you will buy a potential currencies. Right now the prices are decreasing a little so it's a good opportunity to buy more as the price will surely bounce back in the following days.

Bitcoin halving is not yet happening so the hype are still very active and you can use this opportunity to gain a profit as we will not know yet whether the market will continue to increase after the halving.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why bounty budget is becoming too much low? on: February 16, 2020, 06:55:41 AM
Nowadays good bounties are very rare but when a good bounty campaign comes, their bounty budget is very low. When we are used to with 200K,300k to 1M USD allocated bounty, now we are seeing only 10K, 15K USD worth bounty. Do you think this situation will be changed? Or good time of bounty has ended?
This will surely change once we are in the midst of bull run, what I can see why genuine projects are reducing their bounty allocations is because they are afraid with dumps of their tokens.

Aside from that, they are force to reduce because of the market situation where there are only few investors who are active because of bear season. But it will change for sure especially in bull season as there are plenty of investors that will be active at that time.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will be your biggest fears and risks to setup mining farm. on: February 16, 2020, 06:18:24 AM

Crypto currency mining is fascinating topic. It is 21st century mining with computer hardware and software. Looking for blocks on the block-chain to be rewarded in crypto currency. To start crypto currency mining business or hobby you have to understand what kind of risks you might face. To start Bitcoin mining you will need and ASIC miner, which is basically bunch of CPUs. This kind of equipment might cost you a lot of capital, so it is a good thing to recognize the risks you might face.

✔️In the early days in Bitcoin mining you could make some profit with your laptop CPU or GPU. These days are long gone, every year new more efficient hardware is been developed. Which makes older hardware obsolete for mining. Meaning that bad timing investment could potentially make your investment worthless.
✔️Hardware failure is very big thing to reduce mining risks. This hardware needs to be run 24/7 to gain the most optimal revenue from mining. Very often these devices/hardware do brake down, asic miners are the worse hardware comparing to GPU. Hashing board failure is common problem on them, which will need additional investment after 6 month from your purchase. If this would happen to your devices.
✔️The one of the hardest parts is not enough profits. Crypto currencies are extremely volatile, one day you could mine in profit the next day you might be at loss. If you are using latest hardware, most important to stay in the game and mine with profit. Is to have cheapest electric rate between all the other miners on network. Electric is everyone biggest OPEX cost, dont even think to start mining as a business large scale if your power costs is above 6-7c a kw/h. It might be profitable to mine with 20c per kw/h today but it might not be anymore tomorrow. Which means you will need to shutdown your mining farm.
✔️Legal risks . Crypto currency is still very new, and it has not been regulated very well. So you might face some kind of crypto currency ban in the country which might affect your mining operation.
✔️Hacking – Use crypto currency safe as possible. You know the good old saying not your keys not your coins. Don’t keep your mined coins on exchange. And use only community trusted mining pools.
✔️And the last of the top 6 is the environmental risk. Choose mining location wisely. Mining hardware most likely will use a lot of power, this is why they will produce a lot of heat. And heat will affect your mining operation. Something like mining container could be an option.
Recognize your risks before starting a mining operation.

Please comment down bellow with any more risks you might think it is worth to mention.
Video HERE

Biggest hurdle in our country in setting up a mining farm is the last of your statement, environmental risk as our country has a limited supply of electricity and the price of electricity is very high. Like this, mining is not profitable at all as mining is using too much power to operate.

And because of it there are no or only few are strong enough to start their mining farm in our country.
747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it correction time? Market down by 8% on: February 16, 2020, 05:26:48 AM
So far the pump has been steady and good. We've seen Bitcoin over $10K and Ethereum went up from $145 to $288, highest this year so far. Currently at $262 and falling.

The market cap just took a really nice plunge averaging 8% loss. Currently at $289B and red across the board.

Is price correction on the way or just short sellers playing their game?

PS. Sorry for extra large images
In every increase of price where bull run is coming there is always a setback of price and I can say that it is only normal as the setback is not that big.

Usually this setbacks are made by small traders especially those daily traders as they are using this opportunity to earn some profit. This is not a doing of big investors or whales, so we can assure that the market is still in good condition.

748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mail Bombing in exchange of Bitcoin on: February 16, 2020, 04:42:42 AM
An anonymous person in Netherlands is bombing letters just to ask Bitcoin for him to stop what he's doing. This mailbomber wants Bitcoin and he won't stop unless he gets the Bitcoin payment he wants.

First bombing happens in Amsterdam when a worker tosses a package when he heard a hissing sound while arranging the mail. Fortunately no one got injured with the explosion. The second bombing happens less than an hour after the first bombing in Kerkrade. Although no one also got injured, there's a note asking for bitcoin to prevent further bombings.

With the investigation of the police, they said that both bombings are connected yet they have no link about the person who's exploding things up. They also haven't revealed the amount of Bitcoin the bomber was asking, but they're still doing further investigation.

This is also not the first time someone asked for Bitcoin in Netherlands. Almost the same incident happened last 2015, both were bombing things and asking for bitcoin.

Source:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/a-mailbomber-in-the-netherlands-wants-a-btc-payment-to-stop-blowing-things-up

It's a little alarming that they would really go that far just to ask for bitcoin. I don't think it's a big explosion but they can still hurt other people and they're damaging the image of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as well. I don't know why would they do that because obviously, the police won't just send them Bitcoin so the explosion would stop. Because if they will do that, then everyone might just do the same in order to receive bitcoin so they'll just keep on investigating until they caught the suspect.

PS: I'm gonna delete this if it was off-topic

This is a very desperate move if in case the bombing are connected to the person who are asking for bitcoin just to stop their actions.

Only terrorist can pull this kind of action or an opposition of the government behind this incident and they are using some black hat hackers to deliver the message. What is worst is that they are using bitcoin as a means of payment which can hardly damage the image of bitcoin.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: February 16, 2020, 03:44:11 AM
IF the whole world ban BTC at first BTC will Crash very hard but only for a few month, Demand will be increased while there will be no Legal Seller, All trade will go to undergrand and  Black market and illegal traffic, sellers will start to selling BTC 50 X more than current price. BTC will be more expensive, As simple as that,
That was an answer for these who said BTC will die if whole world Ban it, So no BTC never Die.
Only terrorist and idiots will use the bitcoin if it will be banned by all countries because if it will be banned, I am pretty sure that those users will be jailed and the government will closely monitor those illegal users and they will sentence them once they will be found.

All of us wants to profit but if it is against the law of our government then we can't do a thing but to follow the rules. So the chances that bitcoin price will skyrocket to 1m usd is only a dream because the demand will surely goes down and only few will remain, meaning the supply of bitcoin is greater than the demand.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 16, 2020, 03:26:26 AM
Hi! Have you ever tried to invest into a gambling site? and my question is, is it worth it? Considering that you will not be a player! but you will be the house (not actually the house but some part of the "house" LOL), Your portion of investment will be part of the gambling website's bankroll and if they win you also win! and if they lose you will also lose.

The downside of it is, if you are going to invest, 2% of your total investment will be the fee (2% on the most of the gambling website that I see). So are you going to try it? It is going to be okay if you consider long term investing but if your motive is for short term, I think not.

Is there any people here have tried it for a long term and does investing on it, is worth it?

If you are interested to know what gambling website's are offering Investment, you can check this website: https://dicesites.com/
They list all of the website's offering it and additional information for it.

Small trivia:
the owner of that website is NLNico and the only person here that have The Glider(hacker symbol) badge

Are you going to try investing on their bankroll? Please explain your answer  Smiley
Well the idea is good and I will surely try it as long as my investment is safe. What I am talking with safe, is that the house or the website owner will not run the investors money.

Because they can just easily say that the house was losing and the investment money were all lost. And in gambling, it's very rare for the house to loss badly as most of the gambling websites have a precautionary measures already to counter a big loss.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 03:00:17 AM
It has been almost a year with crypto gambling but I feel I am still a newbie in gambling. I have not made big profits here but I had lost few of my campaign pay outs which makes to think like that I am doing something wrong and I must learn something before continuing with my gambling.

It would be too good if you share how you are surviving with your gambling. I read everyone is facing losses like me (not sure how true that is) but I do see some 25 to 100 people are online in most of crypto gambling houses; among continuous losses, no one could bear to gamble more. It means, am I missing out some trick? I tried auto dicing but I read manual dicing will be profitable but how patients crypto gamblers are to play manual dicing with least base bet?

If you have some tips which helped you to gamble for years, please share here. I have limited budget but want to gamble for longer duration even I will not make profits.
I also thought about it as I've been gambling for almost 15 years already but still I am acting like a newbie in terms of gambling. Upon analyzing my gambling experience, out of my 100% bet, I only win like 15% of it only so I am wondering if what are my lackings.

I am very confuse whether I am so unlucky in gambling or I am missing some trick on how to gamble wisely in order to gain a positive output.
752  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTCs predictions beyond the limits or it might happen... on: February 16, 2020, 01:31:10 AM
I went through a lot of articles where analyst are coming with different speculations according to their research, but these people don't even speak when it goes to bear. Here we go a new article which predicts BTC will surge to 100k with 23month which might be at the end of 2021. Guys kindly share your thoughts along with this article.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsbtc.com/2020/02/10/bitcoin-hit-100k-23-months-btc-halving-prediction/amp/
I cannot agree with that article as it is only putting too much hype, yes the users and investors of crypto currencies are continuing to grow but 100k bitcoin price is too soon to obtain.

This coming bull run, there is a big chance that we can hit a new ATH record of bitcoin but it will not hit to 100k. The maximum that I can predict base on the movement of bitcoin price is only 40-50k, 100k price will likely to happen in the 2nd or third bull run.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Reaches One Million Users on: February 15, 2020, 03:31:38 PM
Metamask surpassed 1million users, as the Ethereum market price pump to 300$ and the market cap is back to 30million $.

The ethereum transactions was double from 400,000 to 800,000 transactions a day.

Reference:
https://www.trustnodes.com/2020/02/14/metamask-reaches-one-million-users
This is good news for metamask users as it only means that this wallet become popular as days passes by, I am also a metamask user and I am contented how this wallet works as I didn't face any problem so far.

Upon checking the current price of ethereum, it is currently sitting at 281usd base on coinmarketcap. And upon checking the price graph, I didn't see that ethereum price already passes to 300usd. You can just correct me if I am wrong, all the informations that I provide came from coinmarketcap.com.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about bounties on: February 15, 2020, 02:01:23 PM
To all newbies or new comers, here are few advice for you guys if you want to start promoting bounties

1. Many bounties won't pay
Its a real fact that some might not want to accept for one reason or the other, new projects aren't that attractive to investors anymore so be ready for the worst.

2. Bounties are still Profitable
Ignore whatever bounty hunters are saying, yes many projects aren't paying but still some are paying, experience of a bounty hunter is different from one another, some bounty hunters still find it hard to learn from their mistakes

Remember that even good projects that looks promising can still fail but here is what I want you to hold on to, a single bounty project can cover for all your losses, what I meant is 1 project can give you biggest profits even when you've promoted 10 projects that gives nothing, this is why its called BOUNTY.
It only means that bounty campaigns are like try and error because even if we will research about the project before we joined their bounty campaigns, it will still not guarantee us that we can fully avoid shit and scam projects.

If we are patience and we put effort in bounty campaigns then time will surely come that we can hit the jackpot bounty where we can earn a decent amount of money. Just don't give up in bounty campaigns even if you fail many times.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How interested are you to re-invest BTC? Need Your Input! on: February 15, 2020, 12:06:16 PM
We're doing a market survey on BTC investment protocol on behalf of DINNGO. The findings of this survey will be published in this post.

This survey will take ~3 mins of your time.

Survey link: https://dinngosurvey.typeform.com/to/W1sdjs?from=bad

Why do we publish this survey?

Lending and Borrowing on Ethereum have become more and more popular. It shows that rather being a hodler, people want to re-invest crypto to make extra earning. Meanwhile, BTC remains its dominance in the crypto market over 60%. We believe in Bitcoin’s potential and HODL it tight. What do you think a platform that you can re-invest BTC in a non-custodial way (e.g., into Compound.Finance)? We would like to know how likely you will use this kind of protocol. We highly appreciate it if you can help us out!

You can find our previous survey results here: https://medium.com/dinngo-exchange/digital-currency-exchange-survey-3d491f56d877

In bullish season like what we are expecting this year then I can say that almost everyone are interested to re-invest in BTC especially that BTC is still very popular to the big investors.

I will try your survey and I am hoping that it will take that long to complete so I can finish it as I don't like to stay much especially in a survey platform as I am interested also to your service that we can re-invest BTC in a non-custodial way. But I didn't understand it it so I would like to participate in the survey to learn more about it.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 15, 2020, 11:26:26 AM
Hello guys, back in 2017, during the heavy bull run, I visited my former office and meant some friends and told them the need to key into bitcoin. One who is now occupying my former position at the bank interjected and said "someone just left here to to lay complain how he paid a huge some of money to a bitcoin seller who then scammed him", bitcoin was never paid by the scammer. I asked them to send the person to me for a free tutorial on bitcoin and how to safely buy and store it, I never hear from them again till date. The victim had try to bitcoin because he heard he will double his investment in a week, I told them that is not how it work.

After getting and reading repeated complain of how persons are been scammed in my country while trying to buy bitcoin, I decided to make 4 banners on how to learn how to safely buy/sell bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, and to address the wrong notion about cryptocurrency. I got some calls and follow ups. But most are not interested in buying and holding but want to give me money and be giving them a weekly or monthly returns on investment, when I tell them that is not how it actually works, they will reply they have found a program online that pays some weekly % ROI, I try to stop them from putting their money there, they either stop picking my calls or tell them they are okay with their findings.

I am just weak and heart broken how people are lazy to attend class that will open their mind and eyes to existing realities and set them free from lifetime mistakes. I am dazed by their foolishness in the issue of finance. My banners and office is still open but won't force anyone to learn.  I hope they don't learn the hard way.

Being lazy is one of the problem of other investors that is why most of them will easily fall to the hand of the scammers. This newbie investors are also greedy aside from being lazy as they want to earn a weekly or monthly ROI with their investments without using a single effort.

So the scammers are using this opportunity to grab their money in return of nothing, I wonder why most them still didn't learn their lessons. If they just put a little effort by studying how crypto or bitcoin works then they can easily choose what type of investment that they should choose and they can easily avoid those cheap scammers.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Okay. What is the main factor that boosts Altcoin value? Popularity or Tech? on: February 15, 2020, 10:42:56 AM

As the subject goes, what could be the main factor?

Famous developer, Media reputation, MM... or Just technology itself?

So far, it seemed that marketing and market marking were the main factors...

Btw, has anyone experienced BISPEX exchange known as its insurance funding?

Usually the demand will boost the the altcoins value so popularity will be the nearest of it but any altcoin will not be popular if their project is shit project. So I can say that both of them are very needed to boost the value of any altcoin because if one is lacking then the altcoin value will not increase.

Marketing is another factor also which is the most important thing to any project in order to obtain their popularity and raise the demand of their coins/altcoins. With regards to Bispex exchange I haven't experienced using it and I didn't know about their insurance funding but what I saw upon checking their background, they are listed already at coinmarketcap (rank #2057, marketcap is still unknown) and it's price is dropping base on their chart.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be ETH's biggest year yet? on: February 15, 2020, 04:24:51 AM
As Ethereum forks its way into becoming a full-fledged PoS cryptocurrency, the new year of 2020 is expected to bring a rise of ETH's price across the crypto market. While Bitcoin is still the true indicator of altcoins' prices, Ethereum could experience a short boost in price due to people's excitement of the release of Casper PoS on the ETH blockchain. I have to admit that development has been somewhat slow, but everything has been done in a safe and secure way. Maybe 2020, will be the year Ethereum goes full PoS? Or maybe the dev team will delay the process until further tests are made?

Whatever the case will be, it looks like this year will be ETH's biggest one yet as it's one step closer towards becoming a PoS cryptocurrency. At first, it'll be a hybrid PoW + PoS coin until its ready enough to become a completely PoS coin. Staking Pools will be the hottest trend of 2020, as people who cannot afford the minimum requirement of 32 ETH to become a validator, will simply resort to these services. With a PoS version of the Ethereum blockchain, the competition will be fierce among other competitors such as EOS and Cardano. On the other hand, Ethereum Classic (ETC) will retain its PoW consensus algorithm distancing itself from Ethereum in every way. Maybe ETH miners will flock into ETC once the former does the transition from PoW to PoS?

What are your thoughts? Huh
The upgrade was done and the price of Ethereum is keep on increasing while following the footsteps of bitcoin, so far Ethereum is doing good as the demand is also there so the chances that Ethereum will dominate this year is very big.

We can even see the highest ATH record of Ethereum this year if the market will not fall after the halving of bitcoin as the market is very dependent to bitcoin because of it's dominance over other currencies. If Ethereum can achieve 2000$ this year then it will be the biggest ATH record.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Valentine's Day! on: February 14, 2020, 02:26:52 PM
Seeing that we are all sharing some of our time with each other every day, I just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to all of you. I hope you are going to share the Bitcoin love with loads of people, without sharing to many viruses.  Cheesy

Let's forget about all the problems and fighting for a day and concentrate on the positive thing that brought us together here, namely : Bitcoin.  Wink

I decided to spread the Bitcoin love today and I created some paper wallets with a small amount of coin on it and I am going to distribute this to random people on the street in my city. I am adding a flower for the ladies with the little paper wallet and a link to this site to get more information about Bitcoin.

I hope some of you will do the same today, so that we can spread the Bitcoin love.  Grin  Wish me luck, it is surely going to be a interesting day.

Ps. I am keeping the private keys and if the coins are not moved until the next Valentine's Day, I will take back my gifts.  Grin
What a remarkable way of spreading your love to the people, if I have a good amount of bitcoin I will probably do the same as bitcoin is not yet very familiar in our country and in this way I can share the importance of bitcoin while offering them a token of love using a small amount of bitcoin.

Do you plan to spread love also here in the forum? Many will surely become happy if you will do it also even 50 small amount of bitcoins are enough, like you can just raffle them and the lucky winners will get the token of your love this Valentine's day.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If google has its own crypto currency? on: February 14, 2020, 01:33:55 PM
Hi, I have a question if Google will have its own digital currency?it will beast bitcoin or not?

I think that it will beat Bitcoin easily! Because Google controls the whole world of the Internet! And it is very famous among the people all over the world. It can market its currency easily.
This is my opinion! What is yours?
Google is very popular the same with Facebook that is planning to launch it's own currency which is Libra but their launch was being halted by US government.

If Google will create it's own currency, the acceptance will surely be there especially those people who are earning in Google. But in crypto society, the acceptance will always depend on what type of currencies will the google to create. If it is a stable coin then there is a very little chance that it can beat bitcoin because big investors will surely remain to bitcoin and will not shift to Google currency.
