I like both. Biggest problem is that someone is going to launch fake monero

Both with full power Great start guys, after having to choose between two currencies, now I can mine two of them at the same time!! I believe I would change them from time to time. I mean my approach is to mine ByteCoin + FantomCoin for a couple of months, than to change it for BitMonero+FantomCoin as I am still not sure about future of BMR . Any opinion on its perspectives? BMR > BCN

Namecoin - p2p domains Monero, Darkcoin - anonymity Huntercoin - game/ human mining
|
|
|
So it would be double mining coin... 1. Mining for best address 2. Mining for blocks/ coins Hmmm
|
|
|
I voted for BCN, but right now I think BitMonero > BCN due to huge BCN premine. I think this is best anon coin in terms of technology. On the other hand Darkcoin is much more popular. Both are interesting, I think you can't go wrong with them

Really, another one??? This ain't funny anymore.

Guys, here is a new CryptoNote fork - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=585611 (FantomCoin) with a merged mining Bytecoin and BitMonero. But I don't understand, Monero and BitMonero - is this one coin or different? Also there is a GUI-miner (no command line ): BitMonero = Monero

Let me know what you think. Personally, I think I'm moving in the right direction design wise, these are the kinds of logos which will help make Monero a huge hit by helping it distinguish itself from simple "coins"
edit: I definitely think the "M" used is very distinctive for the official Monero "M"
Wow First 2 look epic!

WTF with all newbie accounts?

When & where did TFT say he's no longer part of the project?

Also I have one feature request. Can we have the daemon auto-save the blockchain? Maybe every 30 minutes or so.
I think it's already implemented
|
|
|
Yes, it was probably from somewhere else, but it would be hard to guess. So rather than mining with closed-source app, I'd rather mine scrypt and trade it for BCN. The coin is cheap anyway, so buying is a feasible option.
Just mine Monero, BCN with its huge "pre/ninja mine" will be probably dumped when it hits exchange - devs already bribed Comkort to trade it. Just my 2BCNs :p

Simplewallet can read a list of incoming transfers. The command is incoming_transfers
I know . The command I'm refering to is not entered at the command line, but sent via HTTP messages, specifically used for communication between two processes. API is the "right way" to do it, but if it's not complete it may be possible to make graphic wallet as a front-end to command line one... Can't download binaries either from MEGA. Someone upload somewhere else please, thanks.
Patience, it eventually works

LOL I forgot about Dogecoin, it has very active community, I think it's more similar to Bitcoin's first years than any other crypto. Darkcoin/Monero are also very interesting because of their anonymity. Darkcoin is more popular right now but I think Monero is better in terms of technology - it just needs GUI wallet.

It depends on criteria - daily trade volume, market cap, recent changes in price? I would say Litecoin, Blackcoin. Much can change with scrypt ASICs.

1000x is possible... 1000x down

So we now have 2 topics with logo contest? That's crazy and not a proper way to promote coin... They should be merged. Anyway I'm still voting for this: my submission inspired by Esperanto jubilee symbol
