741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price raising? on: June 17, 2016, 01:18:16 AM
The price is right now rising because of the fact that a lot of Chinese people are massively buying the bitcoin.
Not really true. The rise is from the speculation that the price should in theory double because the supply will be cut in half for miners who usually need to sell the coins as they get them to pay off their advanced and expensive hardware they bought. The Chinese might be buying BECAUSE of that but that is not the reason entirely.
742  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: June 17, 2016, 01:16:47 AM
Nowdays no, i am not even selling and exchanging it cause of halving but in past when price was around $400 i've exchanged many bitcoin and spend this money on myself.

I'm having the same to be honest, right now I'm not spending them at all just because of the fact that the bitcoin is gonna rise to a high amount for sure due to the fact that it has a good future holding is way better.
I mean it's not for sure, but very probable. As well as it is very probable that around the halving there will be a huge profit taking and sell off by people. But Bitcoin's supply will be so low that it will steadily rise no matter what price it gets sold down to.
743  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: June 17, 2016, 01:15:41 AM
bitcoin is currently still can not beat the dollar. dollar strength is very strong. maybe the next 5 years will equal the dollar strength bitcoin. of the use and value of its currency prices.
Bitcoin is decentralize currency you can only use in online transaction while dollar is centralize currency which can use in all aspect of transaction thats why USD is much powerful than bitcoin but the value i think bitcoin is the huge advantage as of now.
Basically the only thing that USD has over Bitcoin is that more people use it and want it to pay for rent and bills so they can live comfortably. Right now we can't pay for those things directly with BTC and don't work for BTC/hr except in situational occurrences.
744  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: June 17, 2016, 01:14:00 AM
most of these 'lower income' countries need bitcoin for protection from rampantly corrupt governments ... in such cases it is your duty to starve them of taxes which are levied criminally when there is no accounting for where the money gets spent/wasted

That mentality is what keeps those countries poor. Even countries with corrupt governments need tax revenue to provide for improvements. The less tax revenue, the fewer improvements. There is no way around that. Bitcoin isn't going to magically pay for public education, infrastructure, etc.

Bu the thing is, in those countries, they don't use the tax money they get for public things. That's why the infrastructure is so bad. Maybe if they actually had accountability for the money then yeah it would go to good use but as it is now it just lines the politicians pockets.
745  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 17, 2016, 01:12:24 AM
I would go for the bitcoin because I love bitcoin more and its also that they are more trusted and profitable in my eyes.
Gold is just so standard and its also long term profit make able.

I also love the bitcoin and due to this I would pick the bitcoin with all the advantages above the gold for sure.
Gold is also not profitable in my eyes..
The thing about gold is that is basically holds its value against inflation so that is why a lot of people like it. Plus if there is a doomsday total collapse then gold will reign superior. Bitcoin isn't very stable so it's more risky but has higher profit and you can use it for other things than buying and holding.
746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io ION ionomy. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: June 16, 2016, 07:07:53 PM

747  Economy / Digital goods / Re: dominos pizza rewards accounts - $2 ea! on: June 16, 2016, 01:02:55 PM
Are these usable anywhere and also how many points is it to get a large 1 topping pizza for carryout? Pretty important things for a buyer to know.
748  Economy / Services / Re: Make 10usd an hour LIMITED SPOTS on: June 16, 2016, 01:07:36 AM
Every bodies are interest to do this job, is it work? There are not people give their review. I hope the thread does not become the proof on scam accusations.  Grin
I would think that it will be since OP has not published any announcement yet on who got the limited amount of positions that are available. $10 an hour is a lot just for copy & pasting in my point of view.
But can't paint the kettle black just yet until any evidence is given so too accuse of any malicious intent.
Well the evidence would just be deleted because this is a self moderated thread so the OP can delete any copy he feels the need to. I feel like anybody after the first page is already too late if it's legit LOL

Always profitable, always online! Spend Paycoin at Amazon, Walmart and Target directly! I know I have screenshots of all of that stuff a year or 2 ago. It's hard to remember when this whole thing went down and I've been gone for a while so Tongue
750  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: June 16, 2016, 12:59:08 AM
@Crazyivan

My PacMi4 expired about 4 days ago on 11 June. The contract began 16 Oct. Profit: 0.0378 BTC
So roughly 8 months for a .0378 profit. I guess that really isn't bad because that's near 4% of very safe interest in 2/3 of a year. So overall that's around 6% interest a year on your Bitcoin's. Pretty good!
751  Economy / Auctions / Re: Genesis mining with 0.6090 TH/s Algorithm: SHA-256 account for sale .. [ Auctio on: June 16, 2016, 12:54:17 AM
is this item still for sale.
fair value calc is on 2016 6 15, 1 btc= $650.  , I just bought 5TH for $825usd (with the 3% discount) , 825/5 * .6 = $99 usd
I expect at least a 25% discount that $75usd or equivalent BTC  if this is lifetime contract.  I live in chicago if per chance I could meet up and give u cash if u want.
Please look at the date of the last post before commenting on things. You just dug up an auction post that has easily been closed for at least a month... not good etiquette and it makes it harder to find the auctions of others.
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: June 16, 2016, 12:52:14 AM
Well when the site it new and doesn't have much gamblers it needs a higher house edge. When it becomes bigger and more popular it can have a lower house edge to make up all the costs.

New sites are a 100% no go ever. But even medium casino's can be risky. I would only invest if the house edge is profitable for me and if there was no other investment (stocks, altcoin etc.).
Gambling itself is something which I don't like. Not for fun, not for investments
According to other gamblers that already experienced investing in casino they are making a profit because we already know house is always win..
So i think its profitable if you invest but depends what casino you choose..
What casino you choose is a big factor in how much profit you can make and in what time. I would be interested to do some math on ROI investing in Casino's rather than buying mining hosting like on Hashnest or something.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I should do , if gambling in my country illegal? on: June 16, 2016, 12:47:38 AM
most countries of course gambling is illegal, and it's not a difficult thing if you want to play online, many ways leading to it, let alone using bitcoin is anonymous it was very easy, I think the site gambling bitcoin is not blocked, because it was not yet famous as the site another major use USD
Maybe not illegal but in the U.S. it is highly regulated to the point that any casino not in las vegas or something breaks banking laws on money laundering trying to support their player's deposits and things like that.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gambling really accepted in China ? on: June 16, 2016, 12:46:24 AM
The last few weeks we have seen a lot of bitcoin volume in the market and its coming from China ('s economy problems Tongue) . So wouldnt it be a good idea for gambling sites to start providing the services to Chinas huge market also  ? I mean i dont really know any BTC casino doing it in china, only a few of them have it chinese-translated. Is it legal to gamble with bitcoin in china?
That's a good idea. No doubt the Chinese Bitcoin online gambling is a huge market share that somebody could get in and dominate if they speak or have good Chinese translation. Even if it's not legal they can still play just fine.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: June 16, 2016, 12:44:41 AM
Same here. Never had any luck with dice but on other games. I think for a thousand rolls I make, I only win a tenth of it, which places me at a loss. Idk but I find dice really hard to win at.
haha 10% win rate sounds like an exaggeration but when you're actually gambling and losing over and over it FEELS like 10% I agree! Seems like no way to get ahead in those games.
756  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prepare for huge panic. on: June 16, 2016, 12:36:58 AM
As the Chinese are preparing to sell, it will trigger a chain reaction of panic selling.
The Australian auction will cause the initial massive dump and we could even drop under $200 if the market is as weak as i suspect it is.
There may still he a little profit to make here but be careful, these will be bloody streets soon.
Whoever buys the auction is not going to dump all at once lol that's financial suicide for them. Why make so much less money than gradually selling into the rally that is going up and up? You make no sense sometimes  Tongue it might keep the rally held back which may in turn cause a few to sell off but that's hardly a big deal when THE SUPPLY IS GOING TO BE DOWN 50% FOREVER.
757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Up to 35000 bitcoin delays what will happen with the price? on: June 16, 2016, 12:32:59 AM
All i can say is this is turning into one giant clusterfuck exactly as i predicted well over a year ago...

LOL yes I noticed that as I tried to get some Bitcoins and move them. It was quite the ordeal and I ended up just going to sleep before the transaction could be made in some hours haha.
758  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: June 16, 2016, 12:31:23 AM
Just save your bitcoins for 2-3 years ,,and not that storing your bitcoins for a long long time..2 years and you will have.profit from it.

Holding your coins for a few years is a great way to make profit, but the majority of the people don't even have enough patience to hold their coins for 3 months. They expect high returns in a very short time. And when Bitcoin isn't giving that to them, they turn to altcoins hoping to hit the jackpot. These people are more gamblers than investors.
Looking for quick profits while trading currency or stocks is pretty common though so there's no really blaming them. At this price getting in to hold might not be worth it for a year at least because as we come to the halving you could probably get a better price after, like you said, all those impatient people sell off.
759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 16, 2016, 12:28:58 AM
Finex has been pulling at the reins all day, but China holding back... at least the 5k wall on Huobi was eaten, hopefully we can go up now.  It's a very interesting tug of war, but it's painfully obvious who's pulling the strings...
Who do you think is pulling the strings? The Chinese? Well if that's so maybe it is the so called "Mining Mafia" I hear about so often on this forum that is located there lol Grin
760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold around 100 BTC few months ago on: June 16, 2016, 12:27:47 AM
I think you have a very big regret, 100 BTC possible if it is still on hold you have a huge profit.

I myself sometimes sell 1 BTC, it feels very regret, no idea if it was 100 BTC
No doubt a pretty big "kick yourself in the ass moment" I'm sure. I don't know what the price was a few months ago...maybe 300-400? Now it's double or about there so that really can hurt a man's pride.
