So i got two scenarios in mind:
1. Bitcoin upity getting rejected in the $24k to $25k area, correcting a bit before further up moves. 2. Bitcoin goes up to $26k-$27k before correcting short term.
WO traders, any opinion(s) on this?
Bitcoin goes up whatever (Eventually).

Can we stop talking about shitcoins and which shitcoin is the best shitcoin? It makes the WO so boring.
Yes we don't care if shitcoin #1 is less shit than shitcoin #2.

who of you made use of this service back then? this site has somehow passed me by at that time... There were many faucets back in the day but you only got very little (for that period) and needed to watch ads or wait a certain period of time. You got 5 bitcoins from that faucet when it first started, and you didn't need to watch ads or wait. However 5 bitcoins was probably worth less than half a cent back then. On June 23, 2010 Gavin added a CAPTCHA. He discusses it in this post. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=206.msg1711#msg1711back in 2011 when i started my interest in btc and before i started to gpu mine and receive actual btc i wanted to test my core wallet to make sure i knew how to receive btc and could create an address and play with how the wallet worked. so i remember getting some btc once from a faucet, maybe gavins as there were hardly any at that time. wish i could remember which one and how much.. thought it was less that 1 btc though. but heres the thing. im still running and actively using the core wallet i created in june 2011... Gavin's faucet was probably paying between 0.001 and 0.02 BTC in June 2011. All the pages between these two cover that month. https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/15VjRaDX9zpbA8LVnbrCAFzrVzN7ixHNsC?page=1156https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/15VjRaDX9zpbA8LVnbrCAFzrVzN7ixHNsC?page=1199He gradually reduced the payout over the years.

Even if the service was just to give away BTC, at the time it was groundbreaking. I'm pretty sure I remember claiming from it one time even... Maybe this address is yours. https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1GZnkxbjWwQqX8vVXE52ZeZ7P5HHsmBh83Its still got 5 bitcoins from the faucet in it.

I do not think it is a lame excuse in the slightest.... I think it is a very pertinent question.... the most important question relating to the twitter business model full stop. Did they ever cough up solid data on it? thought the deal was contingent on that ?
I do think it's fair to say that there's a good chance that Elon went in knowing he was going to turn up some shit which would sour the deal. Perhaps, and perhaps specifically it was to do with the bots. Personally I do not care what happens with the deal, I would LOVE to see Twitter under the microscope on this issue though in court, very much. I reckon it probably does not end up in court thou It's funny how the twitter board tried everything possible to stop Elon's purchase, but now they are taking him to court to force him to buy it. Shouldn't they be glad he doesn't want to buy it any more?

Thanks for all these updates you've been making on the thread. Much Appreciated.
I feel like at the time I got most of my altcoins out and I do see a BTC withdrawal the day before I think they were taken offline, but I don't know if it was all of my BTC or if I maybe had more. Have they been able to verify balances by date and time of withdrawals or anything? Maybe I'd have to find whatever old wallet I may have withdrawn to and find the tx hash? Pretty sure Mintpal was dumb and didn't include the hash or addresses in email withdrawal confirmations.
I'm not sure if they have database backups. Did Kennedy wipe the database? Does anyone know if they have backups of old snapshots?

Dabs has raised a great point re OPSEC while out and about on private business.
A mask, hat, sunglasses (try to partly cover ears, distinctive for every person) and a burner (with your main phone Faraday'ed or back home).
Other simple ideas very welcome...
Edit: Maybe learning some of those old spy tricks re OPSEC may make a comeback.
They now also have gait analysis in the works so sticking a stone in your shoe per the spy book I had as a kid may make a comeback. Or you could develop a range of different gaits. Take a look at these.

@JJG My average sell price was something like $53,800. I sold some at $60,000 & $65,000. I sold nothing below $50,000. I’ve bought a nice % of what I sold back. Still have a lot of dry powder though. If for example we were to go to something like $12,000 - $15,000 I might end up with a similar amount of bitcoin that I had in 2021 & that’s after buying a new home outright from bitcoin (no mortgage) & paying capital gains taxes.
Did you get thousands of questions from the exchanges you sold on, then thousands of questions from the banks you sent the money to?

We're just back from Peru. ...
Alas we finally succumbed to COVID (probably omicron) while there. Double-vaxxed, non-boostered. I took plenty of Ivermectin and Zinc (as per FLCCC protocol), and it's hard to say if they helped. Maybe, our cases were mild. I had been taking Vitamin D3 for over a year as "they say" it helps strengthen the body's immunity.
...
What symptoms did you have? How long did it take for you to recover?
