All the numbers below are dual mining eth+dcr.
I also feel like the blockchain driver hashrate in Claymore is not real. Two weeks of mining on ethermine with blockchain drivers and stuck at 24hr avg of 32 MH but reported is always 37 MH. Perhaps that is expected? 32 MH is what I get with non-blockchain drivers and at least over 48 hours I got 24 avg of 32MH, perhaps that was luck?
I run at -22% power and otherwise leave clock speed and voltage alone. Not by choice. Any changes to voltage wrecks hashrate.
On blockchain drivers. Anytime I adjust any voltage or clock speed on either core or memory the cards hashrate drops ~-3MHs and gets stuck there. Memory locks to 800Mhz on anything higher than 945Mhz. I have not tried non-blockchain drivers. Given I hear folks are hitting 40+ with non-blockchain drivers in recent news I might have to give it a try.
blockchain drivers have buggy clocks/voltage control and monitoring but there IS a way to make a serious downvolt without loosing the speed. As I already posted in vega thread - 44.2 mhs @ 160watt from the wall (1408gpu/1100hbm2@0.9v). There IS a big problem to make clocks low with this drivers so I still need to keep them high (1408mhz) and this is bad for dual-mining. To be stable at 1408gpu/1100hbm2 in dual mode I need 0.975v core voltage and this leads to high 300watt consumption (43eth+240lbc) new 17.8.2 and 17.9.1 drivers have clocks/voltage issues fixed but speed is not so good and you need some hack to keep memory oc (1100 instead of 800) when running low gpu clocks. Max I was able to get is 43 mhs @140-150 watt (1000gpu/1100hbm2@0.85v) and 41mhs+210lbry @230watt (1300gpu/1100hbm2@0.9v) |

36 Mh/s at 135 watts isn't too bad. I think that's the best efficiency I've seen from Vega yet. It will be interesting to see if that number can get up to 40 Mh/s at the same power rate with newer versions of miners and/or drivers.
I've got 44.2mhs at 160watt from the wall. But it is worse then monero and dual in current prices |

Impressive wattage for Monero. Do you remember what your Wattman settings were, so I can try and replicate them on my non-liquid Vega 64? Wattman settings are not enough. You need several rather complicated steps ... I think I'm not ready to make it public yet.  |

eth - 44mhs@160watt
zec - 560sol - wattage didn't remember
dual eth+lbc still no improvements 41+220 at 230watt
it is old result with 17.8.2 driver on win7
Having stability issues with dual mode on win10 with blockchain drivers.
It works with default voltages and speed is good 43eth+240lbc but consumption is huge.
When I'm trying to apply downvolt setup that works well under win7 17.8.2 drivers or with xmr or pure eth with blockchain drivers - it simply hangs.
Maybe I need to give it more voltage ... but I don't like this way ))

Not correct, Vega consumes only 150-180w for 40-43mh eth. You need to run it at 1000/1100@0.78v |

Hi Navy, how the heck do you keep mem clock from dropping to 500? my 64's are stuck there. -cvdcc 1000 too low? I managed to run my vega liquid 1300/1100@0.86v, perfectly stable both single eth or dual eth+lbc. The speed is 42.5 single (140watt) and 41.3+200 dual (230 watt). Wattage from the wall. If I have had win10 with blockchain drivers then results would be even better. But 17.8.2 is only drivers that work for me under win7, blockchain drivers are broken under win7 |

Whoever posted that article on Reddit is a liar or a complete idiot. I use a kill-a-watt meter to measure actual power usage. This is from running it standalone as a secondary psu with just the vega 64 (primary psu powers mobo etc so my killawatt meter is just measuing nothing but the vega 64 and it's own internal usage which is less than 10 watts). Anywho, Vega 64 pulls over 350 watts from the wall. Dual mining over 400. The idiot that posted the Reddit article must have been only looking at the gpuz measure and all the INTELLIGENT folks here understand that gpuz power reading is NOT THE TOTAL POWER DRAWN BY THE GPU CARD. it's only a small fraction of it. So, like I said, vega 64 pulls over 300 under normal mining and 400 dual mining. If idiot Reddit poster is running many GPU's then Idiot Reddit poster will probably burn his house down if he hasn't already by overloading the circuits since it's clear he doesn't understand real electrical power draws.
don't run your card on stock setting, you need heavy downvolt to achieve low power consumption. Don't call others idiots if it is you who cannot make right gpu tuning. |

41mhs eth + 200mhs lbry, card is pulling 250w from the wall.
