741  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptopay.me + Hashflare.io ***ATTENTION*** on: December 18, 2016, 09:31:38 AM
I sent through some bitcoins to them and the transaction has been confirmed on blockchain a lot of times but they didnt transfer the bitcoin to Hashflare.io .
If your transaction is confirmed on blockchain than it will be hashflare responsibility to make your deposit appear on your account if you have sent bitcoin to correct deposit address.

Focus on contacting hashflare support rather than cryptopay and also don't forget to check the deposit address is correct or not.
742  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which Payment processor do you use/recommend? on: December 18, 2016, 05:08:24 AM
I have voted for bitpay they are used by wide range of merchants and are also comparatively cheaper than other alternatives. 1% fee they have is nothing and almost free compared to others.

I haven't tried other platforms so i have no idea about them, integration of bitpay is also quite easier and support is of top quality even they refund in case of some technical problems from their side.
743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go up another 100% on: December 18, 2016, 05:03:01 AM
With the current rate of price growth $1000 doesn't seem too far price may sit well above $800 by end of this year and next year we may see another 100% pump so it seems price can easily touch $2000 by end of next year which will be more than 100% of today's price.

Price growth also looks healthy this time rather than quick pump and dump like before. Price is pumping and getting some correction and than again pumping which is good pattern and shows natural growth.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the federal reserve will react to the bitcoin growth ? on: December 18, 2016, 04:38:53 AM
Hi, i believe the bitcoin will be the currency of the future
and it's a threat to the federal reserve
but they are not going to just watch their system collapse of course
how do you think the federal reserve will react ?
- Yes bitcoin/cryptocurrency are the currency of future.
- Yes it's threat to the federal reserve.
- They have already started to research on blockchain technology to create their own centralized crypto.
- Many banks and government may launch their own centralized blockchain based crypto/currency and may forced their citizens to shift towards their  so called crypto from bitcoin.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Course Would You Be Most Interested In Taking? on: December 18, 2016, 04:32:41 AM
I will be interested in bitcoin programming rather than any other things. I am currently learning bitcoin wallets payment api integration in php projects but it is quite hard to gather all the sources and guides. So it will be nice to see a platform where we can learn all programming stuffs for bitcoin in one place.

747  Economy / Economics / Re: Monetize a Full Node? on: December 15, 2016, 06:40:31 AM
Maybe something else like JoinMarket (which I do participate already) which does give small return and requires a full node?
Are you talking about this https://github.com/JoinMarket-Org/joinmarket/wiki but there is nothing like you will get paid to run full node there.

Also i don't think there is any program offering incentive to just run bitcoin node to support bitcoin network.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POS for BTC? ;) on: December 15, 2016, 03:40:47 AM
guys what is BTC have POS? what you think may happen..Wink?
like 2-5% a year..Wink
Bitcoin doesn't need to be POS, few of the altcoins which can't deliver more than what other alts already have try to lure users with annual interest in the form of POS.

Proof of stake = Proof of shit
749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is meant by stake in a coin signature campaign on: December 14, 2016, 06:36:37 PM
Some Altcoin's signature campaign have fix number of coins as signature bounty but they don't have fix number of members that they will accept in signature campaign so they don't give fix amount of coins to members according to their rank. Than they will calculate number of coins to be distributed by stakes. For example:

Signature bounty amount - 100,000 XYZ coin
Total number of junior members - 100 x 1 stake
                               members - 100 x 1.5 stake
                          full members - 100 x 2.5 stake

so total stake - 100+150+250 = 500 now
One junior member will get 1 stake out of 500 stake of 100,000 XYZ coin - 100,000/500 = 200 XYZ coin

Note: above calculation is based on one week of signature campaign. I think i am correct in above calculation.
750  Economy / Speculation / Re: What % of the Total Market Cap of Gold should Bitcoin represent? on: December 14, 2016, 06:03:47 PM
If there were 20,000,000 Bitcoins valued at $100,000 that would equal $2 Trillion almost 30% the Market Cap of Gold. What is realistic?
Sound realistic but to reach this point it may take few more decades, for this atleast 30% of gold investors need to shift towards bitcoin which i think is possible in future.

I can definitely see how a $10,000-$20,000 Bitcoin may be possible. But you never know, Bitcoin is a revolutionary and convenient store of value in this digital era compared to Gold which is heavy, easy to steal, and more difficult to store, sell/transfer.
$10,000 can be realistic speculation for bitcoin price to be after next 10 years or before 10 years. Everything is possible bitcoin marketcap is so small and it is still waiting for billionaires and all VCs to invest into it, than price can grow exponentially.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Bitcoin Full Nodes Are Operated By Businesses? on: December 14, 2016, 03:14:45 PM
You can add another 189 nodes ran by blockchain.info https://blockchain.info/connected-nodes

Not only business i think many tech lovers and home based miners also tend to run full node just for fun or to remain in safe side and store their bitcoin out of web wallets.
Actually running full node doesn't cost much because of cheaper diskspace and internet bandwidth so anybody who like to run and support bitcoin can run it with just few clicks.

Also few local merchants and small local bitcoin exchanger/trading platforms tend to run few nodes for secure operation. Many small bitcoin based companies and startups are popping up in every corner of the world, they will also atleast run few nodes for sure, so i don't think we have to worry about centralization of bitcoin network.

I think majority of this nodes are hosted over VPS, because most of the VPS provider offer US based servers.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Made A Simple Presentation Video About Blockchain Technology! on: December 14, 2016, 07:47:08 AM
I mostly hate the videos which were made with auto voice software rather than own voice. It can easily be detected by the way it sounds, better you try to include your own voice.

Also you need to add some creativity like some animation in middle, some pictures, graphs, diagrams to describe things rather than plain text sliding throughout the video.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: December 14, 2016, 07:40:14 AM
One way of controling myself is to play sport betting, because in sport betting, the duration of each bet is very long, so you wont tend to have the urge or rush to bet more. And sport betting can be as low as 1mbtc and it can easily provide me with 2hrs of sport entertainment.
But there are also lots of betting option within live match which can make you urge to bet more in different option to minimize your loss which in turn can make you loss really high than what you would have lost with single bet at starting.

I have gone through this during Euro Cup Final this year.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Private digital currency like bitcoin is a threat central bank digital currency on: December 14, 2016, 06:55:56 AM
Quote
monetary authorities should clearly recognize that the country should start researching digital currency issued by central banks as soon as possible.
People are using bitcoin not only due to technology behind it. People like to hide their wealth to not pay high tax on their hard earned cash, they like to store their wealth in their hands rather than trusting third parties like bank, if you can store bitcoins securely with just one pair of bitcoin address and private key why you should go through all of the lengthy process/verification/inquiry of storing cash in banks which is also not safe like bitcoin. Also there are many reasons for people to love and have high demand for bitcoin which government issued tokens/cryptos can't provide.

So even if they will launch their proposed centralized digital/crypto currency fully regulated by government, they will not see same demand by community like they have for bitcoin.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin In insurance on: December 14, 2016, 06:46:10 AM
It will be great idea to pay high premiums with bitcoin but on the other hand this can take away significant amount of marketcap from bitcoin because those insurance company will surely use bitpay like third party to instantly convert all the bitcoins they will receive into USD. This will decrease marektcap which will have direct effect to bitcoin price.

However having ability to pay insurance premium can help bitcoin to get more adoption also more attraction/awareness about bitcoin to common people.

757  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: is posible to use digital camera processor to build up btc miner? on: December 13, 2016, 05:28:06 PM

758  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin start up brainstorm on: December 13, 2016, 02:13:06 PM
I have quite bigger idea like creating whole playstore type platform supporting both android and ios and taking bitcoin as payment method addition to usual credit card payments. I think this will require lots of funding as well as big team of developers.
759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone recommend a crypto trading bot and how to use a bot on: December 13, 2016, 01:04:33 PM
I haven't used any trading bot till now and i don't think i gonna use any of them in future too. You can't make guaranteed profit trading with bot like they claim and also trusting bot/third party is quite risky.
760  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Online Exchanges on: December 13, 2016, 01:00:59 PM
There are many bitcoin exchange/trading platforms like kraken, bitfinex, poloniex, bittrex and many others. I usually trade altcoins rather than buying bitcoin from the platform for which i use poloniex most of the time.

You can check https://www.bitcoin.com/buy-bitcoin to see full list of bitcoin exchange platform from where you can buy bitcoins.
