741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: September 23, 2023, 09:59:02 PM
The reason why we are here investing is to benefit the profits right after but if we are no longer alive, those investments will never be worthy anymore. So if we can find a trusted ally that we can leave our legacy and make him continue and benefit from it, it would be a better decision. At least, we are able to help that person to grow and improve his own life.
742  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The excitement of the bull run news on: September 23, 2023, 09:40:02 PM
Bull run is probably our most awaited moment to finally reap all our hardwork we put in our crypto investments. That is selling them in return for massive profits. However, we cannot expect the same thing will happen always. Bitcoin halving is fast approaching and after that, we supposed to see bull run. But what if this time the opposite will suddenly happen. Instead of bull run, the market turns bearish instantly. That is why don’t expect too much and just prepare ourselves and our investments as well as we are still not sure what will be the situation when that time comes.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 23, 2023, 02:25:13 PM

But it could be that Phoenix is looking for something that values more. I just checked Ayton's contract and he is paid an average of around $33 million. Jusuf Nurkic has lower but nearly the same output as Ayton and is only paid an average of around $16 million yearly.

So, if the trade were to happen, it should involve Nurkic and a bunch of players in exchange for Ayton, right? Well, that seems fair, but personally, I'm more concerned about Nurkic's health as he seems to be injury-prone already compared to Ayton. Also, I've seen him in the playoffs, like when the Blazers were playing against the Nuggets, and it's evident that he couldn't effectively stop Jokic. So, in terms of defense and maturity in the game, I would lean towards Ayton. But I understand that teams involved in a possible trade look at how valuable the players they acquire will be, and they wouldn't agree to it if they didn't see benefits. At this moment, I would say it's a crucial decision.

It could be the scenario. Overall if I were the Phoenix Suns' management I also want to stick with Ayton. The guy has been with them since day 1 and is mostly familiar with their plays and chemistry already. If they are planning to trade Ayton then they better make it private as much as possible. Ayton may felt unwanted soon if the rumors were true that he's been in the trading block for years already.

But what I know is Portland's priority right now is to get an excellent deal for Damian Lillard. I have begun to wonder if Ayton is enough for Lillard. Phoenix though has Beal already and it might be difficult to put Booker at SF.

Nah, Ayton wouldn't be enough, even though he averaged a double-double. But with the Trail Blazers, it's an entirely different game. We've seen this kind of scenario in the past where players perform well on one team but struggle when traded. For example, Carmelo Anthony was a superstar with the NYK but struggled when he was traded, and I think there are lots of players with the same fate. So, I must say that the Suns are taking a high risk with it.

It would seem that Howard was literally one step away from returning to the NBA, especially when there were rumors of Warriors veterans approving the idea of bringing Dwight into the fold.
It would be interesting to know what exactly went wrong, although I think either Howard failed to impress Warriors management during the interview process or he didn't accept the role he was offered.
Everybody thought he was already about to sign with the Warriors but it didn't happen. When things were almost happening smoothly, it went south.
The hype was already there, but it's unfortunate to know that this may not materialize. I don't have all the details yet since the article I read doesn't specify. I'm not sure if it's the Warriors not wanting to sign Howard or if Howard chose to play with another team. As of now, there has been no update on which team he will play for.

Howard surely isn't aiming for a big salary, as he knows he's worth a veteran contract. But we also know that CP3 and Howard would make a good tandem. Unfortunately, it's been canceled, so let's put an end to the speculation.
745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should newbies invest with small capital in BTC on: September 22, 2023, 10:59:40 PM
No matter how profitable an investment is, newbies should always start putting a small capital in it. We don't know what will happen in the future so if that investment suddenly becomes out of value, at least we only lose an amount that we can afford to lose. And most especially that newbies have only limited knowledge, then it's hard to assume a successful investment later on. It's better to invest a little so you will only lose a little, at least you've learned a big lesson from it.
746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 22, 2023, 09:09:00 PM
Trading bots will never stay this long if they are not working on the first place. Of course they are but it also depend on the trading providers. But I must say that trading bots are not all the time effective and profitable. You can’t be trading and rely on it all the time. You have to trade on your own and improve what needs to be improve. Through frequent experience, you will learn to manage your own trades, and with developed skills and strategies, there’s no need for you to trust those trading bots but stick to your own trading ability.

748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 22, 2023, 01:34:56 PM
So maybe we might be talking at how Inoue will win and what round will it end for Tapales.

If Inoue wins, I'm guessing that this won't go past 6 rounds. Tapales is an aggressive fighter, although he has mastered the counter-punching style, he really likes to engage with his opponents. So, it should be an interesting fight to watch, but I'm afraid Tapales won't be able to time his attacks well against the speed and quickness of Inoue.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A matter of family conflict regarding Bitcoin. on: September 21, 2023, 09:57:53 PM
Everything that involves with money might certainly trigger a conflict right after. Most especially for bitcoin since it's highly valuable and expensive. But lets not put the blame on money or bitcoin simply because they are not controlling us but we are capable to control ourselves. In the end, if we use our emotions in bitcoin investment, expect that we won't succeed on it but will only develop depression right after we lose our money. When that happens, it's normal to see some conflict especially inside the family circle.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 21, 2023, 02:46:02 PM

He should be the underdog. I would bet against anyone who thinks he could be the favorite on the betting sites. Just shoot me a PM.

There's no betting odds yes but this site below shows its early prediction of odds.

Prediction and Odds
[ Early Beta ]
After considering the both the fighters' stats and their performance patterns, the winning odds is calculated to be at 52-48 in favor of Takuma Inoue. Note, this is a very close margin, just barely better than a 50-50 case.

It makes sense, though, as Inoue is the champion, and the odds being very close are not surprising at all. As a fan, I just want to see a great fight, and I'm sure Jerwin is well-motivated to win because he wants to become a champion again. His last win against Wilner Soto is a statement that he has already recovered from two consecutive losses.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2023, 01:38:43 PM
It's undeniable that KD has won multiple championships, been a scoring champion, and earned the title of Finals MVP. I'm uncertain if Lillard will be able to achieve at least one of those feats. He may appear exceptional because he's the primary figure on his team, similar to Westbrook's situation when he was traded to another team, where he faced numerous challenges. KD, on the other hand, consistently elevated his teams. This is my personal opinion as well. As fans, we may have biases, but it's essential to consider the achievements.

I doubt Durant could have gotten all those achievements if he had been on a bad team. At least, it seems to me that if he had been in Lillard's shoes, his achievements would have been about the same as Lillard's, i.e. none. Besides, his exceptionalism is a bit exaggerated because the Warriors had won championships both before he joined the team and after.

Do we really consider the Blazers a bad team? I think they also had a good run during the early years of Lillard; in fact, they were consistent in the playoffs. That Dame and CJ tandem before was very dangerous; it's just that they failed to reach the higher levels in the playoffs.

Durant led OKC to the Finals, of course, with the help of Harden and Westbrook, but they fell short against the Miami Heat, if I'm not mistaken.

All I can say is that there are a lot of good guards, but Durant, with his size and versatility, is a player you can't find many like.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friendly reminder by the Author of Rich Dad Poor Dad should be taken serious on: September 18, 2023, 07:11:31 PM
Robert Kiyosaki made his fortune from selling "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" book, not by using the methods that are actually in the book. the Rich Dad doesn't exist, unless there is something he is hiding from everyone.

However, he is correct in that the bitcoin price will reach $120,000 very soon. It probably won't happen next year though, but maybe in two years.
Bitcoin will definitely reach that certain amount, although we don’t know when is that certain time. But as we all know, bitcoin will never settle into a low price but it’s always on its new all time high. That is the reason why  the best thing to do as early as now is to prepare our bitcoin portfolio. With patience through long term hodling, that certain price for bitcoin will eventually happen one of these days.
753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deleting Post can reduce the merit we got? on: September 18, 2023, 06:38:12 PM
If your post has been given merit and it is deleted, the merit that you were given will not be deleted. If your post has been deleted and it was given merit, go to your profile merit page and you will see the merit but the post as deleted.
That’s right. Once you have received merit for a certain post, even if you decide to delete it or it was deleted by the forum later on, your number of merits received will never change. However, the number of activity might lessen but the merit count is still the same. But as much as possible, try to avoid deletion in the future.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: September 18, 2023, 04:44:22 PM
^ I don't think that Haney has power though, he hasn't proved anything, when he got the belts from Kambosos and Loma it's all decision.
But if we are talking about Regis, yeah, I do believed and we know that he has the power at 140 lbs as he face a lot of good opposition here and has 82% knockout ratio. After his lost to Josh Taylor, he had 4 fight winning streak either by KO/TKO.
So I do agree that this is going to be very hard for Haney, the only way I see him winning his by using his technical skills again and try to outsmart Regis and obviously, not to get caught by that power.
We're also curious if Regis Prograis just had an off-night during his last fight and if he is already past his prime. Devin Haney picked him over lineal champion Teofimo Lopez for a reason. But still, I am hoping that Regis will be back to his usual self and land those big bombs on Haney.

Yes, I do agree, most likely, as least from what I see, he might be just an off night for Regis against Zorilla. But we should give credit to Zorilla, although he goes down in round 3, but was able to go to distance.
And also maybe the clash of style itself, Zorilla adjusted and just give everything he had that's why at least one of the judges score for him in a close and narrow 114-113. But the 2 judges have it for Regis to win the WBC belt.
So I guess Regis can still the pull the trigger and give Haney a good fight.

Let's not forget that they are still human beings like us who will make some mistakes along the road, I believe that the true strong boxers have their own share of losses and it will be their motivation to bounce back and fight like there's nothing to lose anymore. Sure those who were undefeated until they retire are strong but for me though, I'm not really impressed because they chose a much safer way.

This time, we will see if Haney will make his mistake because he chose Regis particularly as he believed that the latter is now weaker compared to Lopez. We will know it soon but I got a feeling that this will be Haney's first defeat.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 18, 2023, 04:13:53 PM
So it seems that Lillard has been ask to go back to training camp as there are no deal made by the Portland management to his desired destination of Miami Heat. This could impact his performance though, and if I'm not mistaken, there are also reports that he might sit out the rest of the season? We will see what's going to happen on Lillard's case here at the start of the NBA next month.

This sort of thing has been happening more and more over the past few seasons. It's definitely not normal that some players are abusing their influence. By the way, Silver has once again said that he doesn't like it and wants players to honor the terms of their contracts.
As I see it, the NBA management should increase the fines for such actions by players multiple times because $50-100k fines seem quite insignificant to some players.

The NBA is already looking into that matter and if I'm not mistaken, they are going to make another board that will oversee these kind of things as well as giving fines to someone who abuses their status just to force their franchise to have their way just because of the simple fact that they don't see themselves anymore wearing the same jersey.

In line with that statement, James Harden's trade talks are now over and he is now ordered to report in Philly's training camp or they will advice CBA for further punishments. Honestly, I like this better so that these players will learn.
756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Honest question, what to think about “crypto” affiliates or influencers? on: September 18, 2023, 10:16:25 AM
Just wondering for the sake of it, if crypto trading was so profitable for so many influencers and YouTubers, why would they care so much about affiliate money…? Why take the trouble of creating, editing and uploading so many videos? Does this mean that if you see any YouTuber or crypto “celebrity” pumping a product or trying to make a buck out of content, that you should run away from them? ‘Cos why take so much trouble if you are already making money with your trading? Of course not everyone is a trader, but…
A lot of them are mostly for our money. That is why it’s better to trust our own research and analysis in order to avoid huge losses in the future. Although there are still few who deserve our trust, and we can learn from their shared experiences, but just to avoid regrets in the end, learn to trade on your own by not trying to imitate others. Remember that what may work for others may not be working for everyone.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits of Bitcoins recent price drop on: September 17, 2023, 09:58:37 PM
It’s always known that every time bitcoin price drops, it always opens a new opportunity for new investors to enter the market and buy significant amount of bitcoin while it’s on bargain. Same like when the market turns bearish, it’s always the best time to pursue investing in the market as it creates potential investments and maximize your accumulation on it. So when we see in the market that crypto prices are getting low, it does not mean that we should lost or hope, but it’s a sort of encouragement that we should keep investing on.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: September 17, 2023, 03:52:55 PM
Have you guys noticed, that with time, vote poll became more even? If at first, Fury was domination among users selection, now he is leading only with few votes. Why suddenly users opinion changed so much ? Because of 1) they observed current form of Fury 2) the role of Mike Tyson in Ngannou camp became more valuable 3) people noticed something new in Ngannou 4) they just randomly chose the winner Cheesy

Neither mate; 1) Fury's current form is not surprising 2) Mike Tyson's role may help but not significantly 3) There is nothing new in Ngannou, he's just the same fighter 4) Obviously not random.

It's just that users here believe that Ngannou can make a difference in his fight versus Fury but not easily and those who know Ngannou's style are mostly the ones who also voted in favor of him. I mean, sure, this particular sport belongs to Fury because it is his to begin with but Ngannou is a different animal which makes it more interesting compared to the past cross over fights that we had.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 17, 2023, 03:20:42 PM
Canelo will definitely be favoured by the fans. And it is absolutely true that a lot of people know him, even the casual fans as well. But Crawford especially when compared to Canelo is definitely a little less popular in my opinion. But just because we are comparing which fighter is going to have bigger support, does not mean that the fight is not going to be interesting. The fight is really going to be interesting and both of them will be able to bring a lot of people to see this fight. It is I think we can say that this is a much-anticipated fight and the pay-per-view is surly going to be big for this one, if this happens, of course.

There is no need to have such comparison because we all know that Canelo have his whole country to back him in every fight he had, and he will have in the future while Crawford doesn't have that much as the whole USA is somehow divided because they also have their own picks and some of the fans from the US are also backing Canelo.

If only this fight will be determined by how many fans they have, I won't be surprised if Canelo got twice or thrice than Crawford. But since it won't be judged that way, there is only one way to find out and that is to let this two fight.

If these two end up fighting, it is surely going to be a bigger support for Canelo. And that is probably going to give him a good boost of confidence. Definitely, he is going to be the better fighter if this fight happens. But that is the bigger question, if this fight is going to happen or not.

The people in the USA cannot even decide if they are a man or a woman. And how can they decide which fighter to support? LOL. Jokes aside, I am not saying that people cannot have preferences of their own. But the people of the USA are not such a big fan of Crawford, as the Mexican people support Canelo.

Boost of confidence in-terms of the amount of people that will be supporting him in case their fight will be pushed through but it's still hard to say if it will happen or not because Canelo is still deciding whether he will accept the invitation or not because a fight against Crawford will not give him any benefits aside from the money that will on the pot once it will materialize. But for Crawford, he surely got nothing to lose because he doesn't have anything on that weight class aside from his record that is on the line.

And with the money reason I guess if it's really huge and both camps will negotiate in closing the deal maybe the fight can be pushed to happen, though you have valid reason in both sides for Canelo more on money and additional hypes to his career, while with Crawford it will have a much more favorable side if ever that he will win.

Let see if Canelo's camp will be willing to give Crawford a chance to fight him and see if whoever will be the winner, but money wise both will generate a decent amount of money.

Considering Canelo's movement nowadays, somehow, I can say that he's only in the for the money and just take advantage of anything while he is still sitting at the top holding all those four belts. But he only wanted a fight where he got the advantages, like Charlo for example, we don't know what will happen but we know that it won't be an easy one for Charlo because he got to climb a long way just to get Canelo's division, the same with Crawford if Canelo will accept it. But for the likes of Bivol and Benavidez? I don't think he is interested in those fights as it's more risky for him.
760  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If they have the ability why would they sell? on: September 17, 2023, 10:20:23 AM
It's really hard to tell nowadays if the group is actually legit or not since they are a group of people working together just to scam poor and innocent people. There's actually group pages that are worth joining where they post any news, updates and trends about crypto including trading.

If the groups are for information sharing only, I don't see any reason why it'll be wrong to join the group as you can use them to stay up to date with what's going on in the market but when they start sharing signals then that's when you have to leave because many signal groups owners aren't professional traders and they're anonymous. When any individual is skills to know how to trade very well, they will not want to expose that but stay hidden and make money in silence.

Those loud traders on the internet exposing their accounts and bragging about how accurate their trade are are doing that to gain followers so they can become cryptocurency influencers to make money from shilling shit coins to their followers and get rich while doing so.
Yes, there’s no wrong if they only aim to educate the people about trading signals but once these signal group owners provide trading signals and ask for subscription fee, that’s the time that we should start doubting. Obviously, it’s not to help us gain profits but for them to take advantage over our funds. If we are still beginners in the trading industry, most likely we easily fall on this kind of trap especially that most beginners nowadays are trading for instant money.
