A bit more info. I had it running looking for over a day with the -k option looking for a 12345678 addresses with no problems, it found 8, I then set it to look for a 123456789 address and it crashed with the same error after a few hours.

Going to try a different pattern later and see if it still dies.

The system's crashing problem may be due to PSU (Power Supply Unit).
You should check it. If that's the problem then upgrade it. This happens because the system needs greater amount of electricity but the PSU is unable to provide it.

Source : My Laptop got crashed while mining altcoins !
I have more than enough power. It's a 750 Watt powering the 1 video card, board, memory, 4 fans and a SSD.
Allowing for 200 watts (it should be less then 100 but lets give it some head room) for everything else and a max draw of 400 watts of the video card which is figuring very high. The spec is 250 watts:

Over heating perhaps?  What else is running, Out of resources seems to me that something else is running on the comp at the same time perhaps?

Nothing else is running. Bare windows 7, 64 bit, all updates and patches nothing else is installed.
I don't think it's overheating. It has crashed overnight when the office is coldest. I will crank the fan on the GPU and see if that helps.

Thanks,
Dave

7412  Economy / Goods / Re: [H] Gift Cards [W] BTC US only actual physical gift cards purchased with cash on: March 26, 2016, 11:45:03 AM
I noticed yesterday many places have gift cards for Burger King, Chipolte, Red Robin, IHOP and others.
So if you are looking for restaurant cards I can get some of those too.

We don't stock the 15". I would have to check out the cost on Monday.
If you have the BTC you are probably better off getting Amazon gift cards through gyft / egifter and getting it through them.

What kind of gift cards? Do you happen to have any eBay gift cards? Not sure if they sell them in America. Could we avoid the shipping costs by simply asking for a photo of the code and receipt?
Yes CVS & the local food stores have ebay cards. $25,$50,$100

To use a US based gift card you need to have a US based eBay & US based PayPal account. <-- If you don't have both it will not work.

I can do a picture if you want w/o shipping.

Since several people have asked in PMs instead of here

1) Yes I can get most prepaid phone cards (T-Mobile / Verizon / Sprint / etc)
2) Yes all will be purchased with cash and you will get the receipt.
3) If there are fees you pay them.
4) If you want escrow you pay for it.
5) I pass a few 7-11s / gas stations /  CVS / Target / Food Stores that all sell cards every day going to and from work. I'm not looking to make that much money moving BTC doing this I am looking to have the nice members of this forum who want to convert their coin to physical cards subsidize my commute  Grin

I have no idea if anybody will be interested, but if you want to exchange your BTC for physical gift cards I will buy the one you want (so long as it's available locally) and mail it to you with the receipt proving I paid cold hard cash for it.

Cost is preev rate + $11.00 to cover the cost of time & postage (priority mail).

PM if interested. Or post here.

I'm not going to loose money so don't ask for discounts. With current priority mail rates I'm making less then $5 per deal.
