7421  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Planning on sell my watch collection online, how could I offer BTC payment? on: February 01, 2020, 11:17:11 PM
if you sell thru the forums here - I would offer to provide escrow services, my fee is simple at 1%
7422  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Antminer T17 on: February 01, 2020, 03:51:52 AM
PM sent to both parties.

update:
both parties agree to transaction amount as follows:

agreed upon amount is $1400 USD - 1% fee makes it $1414 USD --- current price for BTC is 9408.59 - so amount of BTC to pay is 0.15028819

payment address provided. pending receipt and verification.

update:

payment received - waiting for seller to ship. going smooth so far Smiley
7423  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Antminer T17 on: February 01, 2020, 02:42:13 AM
I can offer escrow services. I know we pm'd concerning this.

the way it works is simple.

- Once contacted by either seller or buyer - I will draft a contract involving seller, buyer and myself with terms/conditions. This should cover all the possible "if this, then this" scenarios
- Once both parties agree, I will provide a "escrow"  address to buyer and request a "refund address" from buyer and a "pay to" address from seller
- The "escrow" address I provide will be an address specific to this contract only - I will provide a new address for each contract
- I will be willing to escrow using the following crypto currencies: BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC
- Once funds are received into the "escrow" address, I will notify both parties and seller will need to ship item and provide tracking
- Once package is received by buyer, they will have a mutually agreed amount of time to review product once it arrives (1 to 2 days typically)
- If there are issues - they will need to be communicated and I will work with both buyer & seller to come to a fair resolution
- Once buyer and seller are satisfied, I will release funds to the seller
- I will charge 1% fee

you could also use another escrow such as @philipma1957 or @ognasty

7424  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How to connect small private pool to a public bigger pool on: January 31, 2020, 02:45:06 PM
All my machines are my own - i do not have customers. but i have had them in the past. I pay 5 cents per kw - I charged the customer 8 cents per kw. nothing more.

i understand it is a private pool - but for customers who are in your farm, why would they want to pay 10%? when they could be in a farm and pay cost of electricity and no % of their profits?  I assume that the 10% you are wanting does not include the cost of electricity or does it?

and to answer your question - yes you could use a proxy to do this. I think that has been said a few times.
7425  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Recommended Pools? on: January 31, 2020, 01:08:06 PM
With the change in ramp up from 5Nd to 3 days - I would suggest kano.is - especially with a .9% fee, one of the lowest out there. Not to mention the block reward bonus he is paying, .1 BTC for the next 18 or 19 blocks until halving.
7426  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How to connect small private pool to a public bigger pool on: January 31, 2020, 01:06:07 PM
i think the point is why would people want to use your pool and pay 10% or more? when they can connect and pay .1%? even with offering co-location services 10% is high. pretty much meaning the only person that will make money is you and not anyone else that connects to your pool.
7427  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] .999 silver BTC themed playing cards, (CLUBS) on: January 28, 2020, 03:11:15 PM
oh I understand why you are not selling as a full deck - the cost is the major one. I like the idea of having a poker hand as well but there is no guarantee that one can get the hand they want so that is another obstacle.

again, these look great!
7428  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 2 L3+ on: January 28, 2020, 02:33:00 PM
So looking to sell 2 L3+ for $50 for both units with PSU plus shipping. Located Oregon.

Using escrow?
check shipping to FL 34669 and what part of Oregon? I might be able to have one of my brothers pick it up for me.

I have a pending sale and live near Portland. I'll keep you posted

thanks!

I would want a full deck Tongue but that would prolly be pretty expensive but seems pointless if not a full deck.

And ... REMINDER that everyone who finds a block (for the next 18 before the halving) gets a bonus 0.1 BTC

That reminds me...I need to beat my miners to spur them on.  I need to get me a piece of that bonus pie! Cheesy

right? would be awesome if i found my first one while the bonus is in play.
7433  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Bitcoin Miner --> Antminer S17+ 73Th/s Ready to Buy With Official Warranty on: January 25, 2020, 06:18:14 AM
what are the advantages of ordering from you vs direct from Bitmain? will we save on the customs fees? is your price lower?

7434  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: pre-order antminer l3+ march batch for sale psu included on: January 23, 2020, 04:46:55 PM

7435  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Quiet [36 dB, 8 THs/500 W] Hotmine Convector Miner. Product Overview on: January 23, 2020, 04:43:28 PM
I would like to see someone from here review this - I would like to myself but as I have little to no clout here, it would probably not mean much if I did.

7437  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: TO sell : 7x S9i 16T/H and 10x M3X on: January 21, 2020, 04:16:16 AM
just an FYI my Antminer S9i runs 16.5 TH/s with stock firmware. on the miner config page there is a drop down that allows me to go from 12.5 TH to 16.5 TH in speed. uses about 1440 watts though at 16.5 TH

So because you are using a firmware from bitmain, setting your gear to 16.5th is NOT overclocking? it literally says hashrate +2th. Also if we were to define "stock firmware" as the firmware that comes with the miner by default then your statement is not accurate, the firmware came out around mid 2019 and by then Bitmain never sold any Antminer S9i, you have manually upgraded the firmware, but that does not matter, there is no Antminer S9i that is labeled as 16th. If you agree with how OP describes his miner then you should be fine with people advertising their S9 19th because you can get that hasharte of an Antminer S9i 14.5th using a custom firmware.

nope not saying that at all - just saying that it is not misleading to say its 16 th/s - I was just saying that it can be achieved with official firmware vs some random custom firmware from who knows where.  I agree that the miner is still just a 14.5 and yes it is over-clocking.

7438  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: TO sell : 7x S9i 16T/H and 10x M3X on: January 20, 2020, 02:31:12 AM
The tittle is incorrect, Bitmain never made an S9i that hashes over 14.5th ,what you are selling here is either an S9i 14th or at best case scenario, you are selling a 14.5th miner, if you are getting 16th out of them, it means you are overclocking them, that is a choice other buyers might not be willing to make, so be honest when selling something. Maybe something like this

Used Antminer S9i 14th "can be over-clocked to 16th".

with the pool op missing in action, the payments not going out to the right addresses, not paying to M addresses - all these issues and people mine here still, why?

seems too risky to me.
