This is one collectibles “area” that I’ve been on for several years now. Very difficult to find cool stuff outside of like the Casascius Bitcoin Bowl Game coin (which is a must own). There’s a couple yBitcoin magazines out there that are semi easier to locate. I was able to purchase a program from the game a few years back ( wish I had bought more). Will keep you posted if I can find doubles of anything I already have.

yea we actually went to the game - but I did not keep my tickets or anything - I think I have a picture or two I took there but that is it.

I saw this on eBay - it is being sold by a member here on the forums.

as long as you keep your fingers from our low serial #s  Grin Cheesy Wink

haha - I would only request to get a serial number if its not been consistently someone elses - ie one that was not sold in the prior month or month's maybe but that I could try and get going forward perhaps. and I might start with oct 2020 now that i think about it, his 2nd year of doing them. and then slowly try and get first year ones as well.

I already have 4 cold keys - all of this is to collect, I dont ever see my self selling anything in my collection unless I somehow end up with dupes. which so far the only dupe I have is the ledger nano pizza edition.
6624  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] History Coldkey - A testimony to Bitcoin - JUNE RELEASE // RESUMING OP on: June 04, 2020, 01:41:40 PM
ahh i thought they all would have been sold - which would increase the chances of getting one via trade or sale - if there were leftovers not sold, yes that would make it more difficult. thank you!

I guess only yogg can answer this properly

I believe any unsodl coldkeys would listed and be available thru his website https://www.coldkey.eu/shop/

yea i checked dont see any. I do see the May/June the coinfest and the genesis ones.

It's all good, if he plans to keep doing this, I may just start with Jan 2021 and go from there, to get a full year
6625  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Box of 10 iluvbitcoins knives Design 3 on: June 04, 2020, 01:05:01 PM
These knives are rather good. As an owner of one i can confirm they are excellent for general work use. The belt clip is great for ease of access and once sharpened these are great utility knives. I use mine on the daily for cutting rope.  As long as you keep thw blade sharp, these will last a very long time

would like to buy one but not 10 lol maybe in the future he will sell singles again.
6626  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] History Coldkey - A testimony to Bitcoin - JUNE RELEASE // RESUMING OP on: June 04, 2020, 12:53:38 PM
your "problem" would be that the coldkeys for the specific month were on sale just for a limited period. after this period the coldkeys were not on sale (and will not be sold) any more, even if there still were some left; e.g. when you are interested in -let's say- #30 of all cards, it might be that in some months less than 30 coldkeys have been sold and the rest has been destroyed (?), at least is not meant to be sold any more. even if you get #30 of all of +30months, you still will lack of your serial number of the -30months ...

ahh i thought they all would have been sold - which would increase the chances of getting one via trade or sale - if there were leftovers not sold, yes that would make it more difficult. thank you!
6627  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] History Coldkey - A testimony to Bitcoin - JUNE RELEASE // RESUMING OP on: June 04, 2020, 12:32:57 PM
is there a way to get set for a specific serial number going forward? I guess that is more geared towards yogg

at least what I have experienced so far: yogg can not and does not guarantee a specific serial number, but he is trying to give those ppl who are already in the series with a specific number this serial number again. I have been asked myself in the past to step back for a card with a specific serial number in favor of another user who has already been in this serial number of coldkeys quite from the start and - it goes without saying - I did step back because I do not want to destroy their collection; so in particular in terms of lower serial numbers, it will be tough for you. honestly, I would also be pretty pissed when I'm in the history coldkey series right from the start with a specific number and a new/another member steps in months later demanding to get my specific serial number for the future - and is getting it granted. that would ruin a lot of trust in the company, so I can't imagine that.

makes perfect sense. I was not trying to request one that someone else was collecting either - just curious if there were any that were not already spoken for is all - a starting point for going forward. I, in no way, am asking to break up someones collection.

I don't get a specific error. When I manually input the amount it asked me for my password and I enter it, It then tells me that it exceeds my balance, even when I try to send 100 DGB

i wonder if it is simply you are getting the pw wrong. You have not used your dgb wallet since 2014 - almost 6 years - any chance you have the pw wrong?

I am going to pw protect my wallet and then try to send but with a incorrect pw and see if it says simply i am exceeding my balance or if it gives a pw error message.

and yea, I confirmed - it is not a sync issue for you.

shows your core is 100% synced

sure thing - I am sure others will chime in here as well - there were quite a few of us that tested their pool in their starting weeks. Eventually I went back to PPLNS though, I prefer that to PPS mining.

Please help. I had a wallet that I created in 2014. I deleted the qt wallet several years ago. I downloaded the latest version of the qt wallet and imported my wallet file. My DGB is there and it shows my available balance. However, I can not click on send available balance nor can I send a small amount of DGB.  It shows my available balance of over 1800+ DGB but even if I try to send 100 DGB my wallet says that  don't have enough. Does anyone have any suggestions?

has the client fully sync'd? if not, you need to allow that to happen.

Yes it has fully synced.

can you dump the private key and try to re-add it? you are the second person I know that has had an issue, theirs was a little different, they went a while without using the wallet then downloaded the new one, the wallet file had some of their transactions but not all of them - the only thing I think of for them - they had several wallet.dat files - we tried loading each and every one of them to no avail.

if you can share a snapshot of the error message.

I have posted the images below. As you can see my wallet shows an available balance. However on the send screen when I click "use available balance" nothing happens. It stays at 0. I tried to dump the private key but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. The console tells me to add my passphrase to my command but I'm not sure how to do that and Google has not been helpful.

When I type dumpprivkey "DDiMGp1Zu7SGcPAtCLbsXCQU2btaDrgKWM" I get Error: Please enter the wallet passphrase with walletpassphrase first. (code -13)
I've tried entering passphrase but I must not be formatting it correctly. How should that command look?

your images did not work. and that may be the issue - if your wallet is locked (ie, you are not entering passphrase correct) that might keep you from sending any. Let me play around with mine and will see if I can get you the right syntax.
6633  Economy / Collectibles / Re: (SOLD!) 2014 Football Bitcoin Bowl Championship Player Ring - RARE! on: June 04, 2020, 01:15:38 AM
congrats on sale!

Can I ask what it fetched? ball park even - just in case another one comes up for sale, I was interested but it was too small to fit me (if I buy one, I want to be able to wear it lol)
Thank you. I traded with a forum member and no BTC was exchanged. Out of respect of the person who acquired the ring, I will let them decide if they would like to PM you the trade details and apprx value. That’s probably not the answer you were looking for, but I respect forum members’ privacy.  Cool

it is an answer I can easily respect though! and trades are good too! more goodies, right? lol
6634  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Has anyone worked or done anything with NovaBlock? on: June 03, 2020, 11:49:00 PM
yes - they were also very quick to respond usually - there was a couple days where they were not responsive, but I think that was because of a 3 day ban they received due to "spam" I think they messaged a miner who reported them for spam because of unsolicited PM's.
6635  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Has anyone worked or done anything with NovaBlock? on: June 03, 2020, 11:40:41 PM
I mined with them for a week or so when they first started - pay was comparable to that I was receiving on viaBTC - I was mining both pools at the same time for comparison.

I wish I had gotten on this for month 1 - is June the 6th one? If not, what month was the first? Maybe it is not too late to get one of each?

started with October 2019

ahh ok then i am 9 months behind. prolly not possible to easily get the full set then.

if you are not picky when it comes to serial #s , then it should be possible from time to time to pick up a month in an auction or in a trade/sale.

is there a way to get set for a specific serial number going forward? I guess that is more geared towards yogg

but yes, I would like to get a full set for sure!

I don't think he was being "salty" more or less trying to give you advice at being successful. He has been selling here for quite a while longer than you have. Might be prudent to heed his advice - just my two cents Smiley

... you mean just your two Satoshis!  Wink

agreed! and fixed! lol
