Was not aware that they would be facing NZ and Pakistan so soon. This makes things a lot more interesting. Just like you, I am most excited for the India vs Pakistan match though I am expecting India to win hands down. June is going to be one heck of a month for Cricket lovers. Yeah, not only us but I am sure that its an eye candy contest for cricket lovers around the world. Match with Pakistan looks easy if we consider India's previous record against Pak in World cup or any ICC tournament. But record could be broken anytime, Pakistan desperately wants to score their first ever Victory against India in World cup.

I don't think India will suffer against SA, that will be probably easy win for them. India will suffer against Australia and probably England. Have you noticed current performance of England? It's outstanding. I think the same, having said that, my fingers are crossed for first 4 matches. Anything could happen in big tournaments. Yeah, I was watching the match. England batting performance didn't surprise me much on this pitch tbh. Some batsmen disappointed me with their performance such as Babar and Joe Root. Both are high-quality batsmen but not performing, especially Joe Root making a habit of getting out early despite a good start.

This happens when independent professionals are continue writing the story for the series True! But we will know after next season No!! No more season please lol. They should wrap this poorly written season with in the next episode.Would love to see Daenerys is dying in next episode in the hands of Arya or maybe Jon. Hope Arya get to kill her, at least she would get one queen to kill, she is missing the all fun .

You are right. The times have changed. But can't say that I am happy with the changes. In test cricket, both the bowler and the batsmen have equal chances to perform. It is not biased in the favor of any one of them. The same can't be said about the ODI cricket. It is heavily biased in favor of the batsmen. On top of that the bowlers have to deal with rule changes such as free-hit. If the competition is not equal, then in the end it may reduce the enthusiasm levels. I was someone who watched the CWC 1999 as a kid. And I definitely enjoyed the matches then, irrespective of the low team totals. Agreed it should be balanced otherwise it can get boring easily. But nowadays spectators loves to watch their favorite batsmen or teams to hit sixes-four or big totals, so we have commercial angle too. As long as test cricket is untouched. I have no issues with big total in 20-20 format due to commercial point of view and little balanced pitches in the ODI.
Pakistan VS England Pakistan inning is in progress and Pakistan lost 2 wickets. Fakhar Zaman failed in this match and got out cheaply. Sadly babar failed too despite getting solid start, he was timing very well and his straight drive and one pull shot was treat to watch. Chris Woakes got both wickets. Imam looking good so far and building his inning nicely, however he was struggling against Woakes and Willey in start.

If the Indian team manage to win the first couple of matches, they would have adapted to the conditions pretty quickly giving them an advantage over other teams. It won't be easy though since their first couple of matches are against SA and AUS.
I would say First 4 matches are very important for India and not a very easy task IMO. we can talk about how strong this Indian team is but this is big competition "world cup" and Indian team can't afford to make any mistake here. jeez I am getting nervous tbh lol 5 JUNE : Playing against Proteas 9 June : Against Oz 13 June: Against Kiwis 16 June: Against Pakistan - Most awaited match between 2 Arch rivals in cricketing field, just watch out for Curfew during the match.

3rd ODI between England and Pakistan is going to start within a couple of hours. The last match was good for Batsmen from both sides, which means a nightmare for bowlers lol. if Pakistan loses this match as well then they can't win this series because the first match already washed away due to rain and Pakistan team is lagging 0-1 right now in this 5 ODI series. I am wishing for good contest between Bat and Ball in today's match. give some chance to bowlers too

The deaths of some of the main characters were not very satisfying. This is lazy writing at the very most of the most of the most. I was keep saying that Writers doing a terrible job in this season. writers ruined the whole series for me and thanks its for good lol. Mad queen should die now, she went on crazy mode, someone need to switch her button off ffs.

I was checking the scoreboards of various matches that have happened in England and Ireland during the past few weeks. In almost all of the matches, scores in excess of 300 were recorded. This is very different from the conditions that had prevailed during the cricket world cup of 1999, when most of the teams were struggling to cross 200.
Vishnu Bhai, cricket has changed drastically, try to compare this era with 70's-80's just for fun (graveyard for batsmen) Those days are gone when Bowlers used to rule the cricket field 90's was the era when we had Solid competition between Bowlers and Batsmen. But now time has changed for good and arguably bad. Enjoy this change.

~edited out~ You know what, I'm in NYC right now (I didn't want to mention it until I had something interesting to post about it. Not sure that will happen lol). I'm not here for long and I've been looking for something I could attend to but there's no way I'm paying these kinds of prices. I'll probably go to the Hilton Midtown (where Consensus is held from Monday to Wednesday) tomorrow to see if I can take a couple of pics but that's probably all I'll do... and that's a shame. @kenzawak's travel plans are More volatile than BTCHe is bouncing around all over the world like a tennis ball. Enjoy bhai. looking forward for next update. with your updates I am feeling like I am travelling as well It's coming from hypocrite Jealous young slave who is working his ass off on Sunday too .

Lol this thread still alive IPL betting thread got the all attention. Same thing going to happen with Cricket world cup thread too? just checked you already created new thread for World Cup betting Not very surprising. India contributes to more than 80% of the cricket viewership figures (if you add the expats as well) and if you take the TRP ratings for the entire tournament, then IPL will be far ahead of CWC 2019. On top of that the interest in 50 over matches is diminishing, as the younger fans are shifting towards the T20 format. Well I was talking about our cricketing threads in this forum. that how @Royse betting threads eating all activities Anyways, Point taken if we talking about 80% figure.. because you are absolutely right I’ll agree there’s huge number of Indians watching IPL, however I feel over the years it has become a global tournament. I don’t think it’s fair to compare T20 matches with 50 over matches, as both are different and entertaining in their own ways. When you speak of diminishing interest in 50 overs I feel you’re wrong about it, as the 50 over match between India vs Pakistan in the World Cup will break all viewership record of t20 matches.
Its interesting debate will try to present my point of view in details.

Both the teams played very well; it was a nice high-scoring match. IMO, the only thing that messed up the big win for Pakistan was the bad batting by the middle-order (the captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, Imad Wasim, and Haris Sohail should've played better).
The way Fakhar Zaman plays in English conditions is exceptional!
Not Typical English condition pitch per se. we can safely say its similar to Sub-continent pitch lol. I was expecting Babar Azam to play big as well. unfortunately he didn't. Fakhar was looking different yesterday. Pakistan middle order is not that bad. Haris Sohail form is very important for Pak. he can single-handedly. manage the middle order. That was an entertaining match to watch between England and Pakistan even though the bowling wasn't all that good but it was great batting by both teams. If this is anything to go by, then we are in for an exciting World Cup with hopefully many big totals like we saw today in this match.
Guess we can expect similar pitches in World Cup as well. If that's the case then I would say - taking wickets in middle over will decide the difference between winner and loser-. Not big totals.
