India would not going to let this happen. They must be bringing the spinners and attack. It will be unfortunate for India if weather helps Aussies to draw although this is the only help Aussies are looking for LOL

Having 10 wickets a day will really be tough. There is a mere chance of happening this since Australia knows they have no chance of winning. They will try to survive the whole day and will be successful, IMO. If Dhoni was the captain, I would expect a win with a 60% possibility.

When we think about it 10 wickets in a day isn't all that much as the pitch might start to play tricks on the Australian batsman and if the mind set of the Australian team is to go out there to try and draw the match it can be their down fall. I actually think Australia need to just go out there and play their natural game and not think too much about saving the test match as the series is already over. India have been the dominate team all series and deserve to be in this position. Like I mentioned in a previous post I think it will be the Indian spinners that can get the win for India today so time will tell.

Start delayed because of raining. So, I don't think there will be a play today. Lucky Australia. Sometimes insufficient light and now rain. Since the pitch condition will be changed because of rain, there is a chance of winning. But at least, 50 overs must be played. Anyway, it's going to be drawn.

Well its all over India have won their first ever test series in Australia after the match came a draw due to bad weather. India deserve this victory as they have outclassed Australia in every form of the game.I know everyone compares Kohli to Dhoni and that he doesn't rate up to Dhoni but Kohli has done something that no other Indian captain could achieve and that is a test series win in Australia so I think people need to stop comparing the two as Kohli is just as good as Dhoni when it comes to captaining India. Kohli is also the first Indian captain to win a test match in England, South Africa and Australia, I think Kohli's next goal as captain is to win the world cup and then to also win a test series in South Africa which an Indian team is yet to achieve. Congrats to India on winning the test series and now we look forward to the ODI matches.

Was OZ lucky that the match could not be played on the last day itself and probably they were saved losing another test match? Well with this draw India clinch the series by 2-1. They would be really proud of winning the series abroad. Puajara was the man of the series.

It was a good series win for India. One can't believe that Indians took so much time to win a test series in Australia. Indians a so good at playing cricket but they were always bad on fast track pitches but this team somehow manage to win two tests with a very convincing manner.

Current Australian batting line-up is in a very bad position they need to improve or find right players otherwise in WI they can't perform well.

It was a good series win for India. One can't believe that Indians took so much time to win a test series in Australia. Indians a so good at playing cricket but they were always bad on fast track pitches but this team somehow manage to win two tests with a very convincing manner.

Current Australian batting line-up is in a very bad position they need to improve or find right players otherwise in WI they can't perform well.

Like I said the only fast track was the pitch in Perth where India lost badly. I also said that this series schedule was in India's favour with the first test match not being played in Brisbane where it normally is the case. Also the Australian team is inexperienced with two of their top batsman out due to suspension. I just think that all this played a big part in India winning the series however I'm not taking it away from them that they played the best I have seen an Indian team play in Australia. I just think the series would of been a bit closer if Smith and Warner were playing. India now have a team that can win anywhere in the world even in South Africa where they are yet to win a test series, if they can keep their bowling attack fit and healthy then I think they can hold the number 1 ranking for years to come just like Australia did in the 90's early 2000's.

India deserved to win a series earlier. Sourov Gangulay was close to the win but failed. Dhoni gave India a lot but the only thing- a test series win again Auatralia in Australia. I didn't expect it to happen by Virat, lol. Congrats, anyway.

Agreed , its more like Sri Lankan team if you ask me . The bowling wasn't that strong , they struggled a lot . I congratulate Indian team for winning but its certainly not bigger than any other series they have won.

Australian bowling attack was very good if not the best. our won because Indian batsmen played well and made shit load amount of runs and Australian batsmen failed to score in flat pitches ( not even one century ).Indian subcontinent cricket history will remember that Virat kohli led the Indian team and they won the first ever Test series in Australia's backyard.
If you look Virat's press conference then you will understand why did he said that, he rightly said that he was not emotionally attached to World cup win. but for this series he was. so he thinks its bigger than World Cup. i don't agree with about bigger win statement but its sound legit.

Agreed but the way Sri Lankan team played cricket against India in Sri Lanka or in India then he's not lying or maybe @absy is Indian too and he saw how helpless was Sri Lanka against India

But after that, they played good cricket.

• Won test series against Bangladesh in Bangladesh 1-0
• Draw against Windies in away tour 1-1

After this, they lost miserably against England in the home series. But again, looked very determined in New Zealand though they lost Test series against NZ. One can't deny that they didn't show grit in a first test match.

That's the point. At the end of the day, no one will remember who played. You have mentioned the golden age of Australia. I used to enjoy every match back in days while nowadays I don't get that excitement.

Ozs don't have the golden time anymore. These days Ozs are old horse. But I think still they are able to give fight against Sri Lanka specially when the are the home team.
