How much blackcoins price dependent on the multipool supporting the prices.
With scrypt POW almost dead due ASICs causing 51% attacks on coins like NOBL + trying to ROI by dumping out added to the fact POS multipools dumping out a lot of coins are going to be
switching to POS, what besides the community will support prices then?
BTW NOBL is also switching to POS because POW is killing the coin.

Yes, we are at the stage where POW scrypt coins are being hit with a double blow.
1. ASIC miners which is public knowledge. 3 Issues:
a. Scrypt coins vulnerable to 51% attacks.
b. Forces value down as ASIC miners dump out to try ROI.
c. Removes GPU mining as a option and mining becomes more centralized.
2. POS coins backed by Multi-pools
These multipools will continue the dump on POW to support there own coins.
The eventual death of POW will also kill off prices on POS coins and Scrypt ASICS will in turn become useless coffee cup holders.
Some turbulent times ahead.

Thanks for proving my point that Mintpal just adds coins based on which one is willing to spend the most to get listed whether they are shit or not. Bittrex doesn't discriminate, it will add good and shit coins and the community decides which coin they want to back. From what I can see Mintpal only adding shitcoins lately because of the above service. Take away DRK volumes and bittrex would be way ahead now. |

NEM creators have been messaging plenty people within bitcointalk to support and invest in the coin when its finally released. When it's released whether its terrible or fantastic people will make it out to be the second coming, just don't get caught up in the fake hype with everyone cheer leading the coin on and singing Kumbaya praises at NEM on this cesspit section on btctalk called the altcoin sub section.  hahahaha This has to be the best thing I have read in a long time. 99% of the alts are x 11, x 13... soon x15, 17, X10000000000000000.... as a sales gimmick.

They are further promoting the creation of more shit coins because they will automatically get listed on the exchange thus providing incentive for the same group of shit people to re-clone shit coins under shit names with the same context. Open your eyes. Bittrex is no better than Mintpal, plus they are guilty of taking bounties dumping them before public can begin trading. Dont ride bittrex. Clown
The same thing is happening with Mintpal, infact the last 3-4 weeks only shitcoins have gotten listed from the voting. Mycoin is next and that is another shitcoin. At least with bittrex there is new coins that have potential that people can buy without having to make mintpal rich. |

Even with bittrex having downtime today it has passed the 2000 btc trade mark in 24 hours. With the latest scandals around mintpal allowing coins to get on with bot votes and making dubious choices around coin choices to add that many suspect they have been thrown with btc it's no surprise that a honest exchange like bittrex is starting to get more deserved volume. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=639308.0Bittrex exchange obviously doesn't need to be bribed in order for a coin to be added as they have the infrastructure to add a lot of alts without exchanges like mintpal deciding what coins are good for you. Unfortunately alt coins are in the gambling phase, that's all these new amazing innovative coins(tongue and cheek) are being created for. The get added to the best exchanges and the PnD game begins for 2 weeks on that coin and then dies out.
Yes there are coins like DRK and blackcoin that have maintained good volumes but for the most part the rest are all setup to gamble and the losers are normally the 90% who aren't the inside traders.

Bittrex ad and delist on a weekly whim is pretty much the dumbest shortsighted strategy I've seen in an exchange. More supports short term pump n dump, start a new rinse and repeat then adding any longterm value to a real decent coins.

The action that happened last night on mintpal was very similar to other large pre-pump action. There was a lot of downward pressure to bash the prices lower, get the panic sellers to let go, because larger forces are loading up at cheap prices for the first major PnD. The last few days have just been the getting onto mintpal cryptsy boom. There are some who see potential with this coin, and they're going to make it skyrocket before too long. It's the same action if you take the time to study other charts and orderbooks that DRK and XC have had lately. Given the traits VRC has, I can't see why it won't be equal to XC within the next week or two. (Full disclosure, I do on some VRC). I think a pump is coming, and I think it's going to be huge. Just my opinion, do your own research.
I hate to burst all your bubbles, but next week there will be a new coin released that is more "innovative" and has a "better story" to go with it. Volumes will switch to that coin for 2 weeks until next amazing coin is released. Rinse and repeat. |

Getting onto Mintpal isn't such a big deal anymore, infact bittrex exchange can handle a lot more capacity then mintpals exchange.  Bittrex has come from nothing and is now 2nd behind mintpal out of the new exchanges and I think in 3 months time will have the most volume because Mintpal is squeezing btc out of coins to get added even if they shit. Bittrex is adding both good and shit coins. Bittrex will become the new top dog. |

It is a scam. Anything having to do with paying money to cast votes is a scam. Mintpal should also share some responsibility here, they could check the ANNs of coins about to get added, see what development is going on etc etc. It's clear to me the next winner is not putting those votes in because of a massive community. |

btw don't waste time voting on Mintpal, the coin will never get to the top unless your using a bot like ENC, Cryptometh and Informationcoin have done.
Maybe try Cryptsy instead
IXcoin have pumped in huge amounts of btc and they never get added, always remain in top 5 for last 2 months.
