763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto after COVID-19 on: August 28, 2020, 09:21:53 PM
Maybe everything will return back to the way it was before the deadly disease? Or maybe crypto prices will remain stagnant on the market?

Pay attention to the years when there was no coronavirus. Cryptocurrencies constantly went through the stages of explosive growth and then a strong fall. Then followed a period of relative calm and growth again. Each time there were various new directions for investment, which pulled up the prices of other cryptocurrencies.
Therefore, I would not worry about what will happen tomorrow or in a year - you need to use the present moment to earn money and correctly invest the earned money in several different areas for investment or storage, and not only in the crypto market.
764  Economy / Services / Re: new unique project give btc to get altcoins on: August 28, 2020, 06:42:59 PM
You pay a Monthly 100$ btc.
You receive  in a month 70$ value of alt coins.
And at the of the month you get like 10$ back of your btc.

At the End of the month you hold different altcoins and you hold little bit bitcoins.
Now if you pay for the next month 100$ you pay 10$ less so coupond that  by  12 months you have profit of 120$ btc and a lot of altcoins.

What did you smoke before coming up with this idea? It's completely stupid to expect someone to agree to participate in this.
Here it is immediately clear that you will not change Bitcoins to altcoins at a loss and all participants will receive unsecured shit instead of BTC.
765  Economy / Gambling / Re: Saito: Come help us test our games! on: August 28, 2020, 06:14:04 PM
Saito is a blockchain that can pay for itself at scale. The Saito Arcade, a proof-of-concept for the network, it's a gaming site where you can experience what Saito can do. It allows people to play popular boardgames with no need for Metamask, using complex, open-source apps running completely on-chain that can be developed by anyone.

Come play some Wordblocks or have a nice game of Poker and give it a try!

Check out the platform here at https://saito.io/

You might want to add more hints to the game. Recently tried to play, joined the game "13 days" and waited a long time for the opponent to do something, then left. I still don't understand why the game didn't start and who is to blame (most likely the opponent)  Grin

It always good to hit the chat just in case the other person is not around before you take a game to prevent that! Invites automatically disappear after a certain amount of inactivity but your opponent could have been alt-tabbed :-D

I didn't do it before I joined the game.  Sad
Next time I will know that I will need to do this first. There are few players, which is probably why the opponent has to wait so long.

Perhaps you should make a sound signal that someone is ready to connect to the game and show the person who created the game a notification on which they should click the button. If it does not do this within 15 seconds, the created game is interrupted.

767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: August 27, 2020, 11:26:35 PM
I know perfectly well that the provision of USDT dollars exists only as long as everything is good on the crypto market and there is no very large collapse and panic. Therefore, I try not to keep my money in the USDT for a long time. However, I would like to say that in recent weeks, to transfer my money between exchanges, I most often use USDT, because the cost of transactions in it is one of the smallest.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto passive income - a bubble? on: August 27, 2020, 08:50:52 PM
It depends i guess. But if you have a crypto that has a high annual ROI with staking and otherwise no real usecase or isn't listed on good exchanges and has a low trading volume,
then sooner or later the price will drop.
I think this shouldn't be a problem though for big growing projects like Polka or Cosmos, because there should be still enogh buyers to at least take those coins that stakers generate.

I have seen several coins that offered staking (paying interest for freezing a certain number of coins). All these projects ended up either fraud or a serious drop in price. Therefore, I recommend making better money on trading or long-term investment in such coins as Bitcoin or Ethereum, and it is better to avoid various stakings.
769  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Platinum stake account for sale on: August 27, 2020, 07:48:16 PM
Offering me stake.com account, if thats allowed.

Its just low platinum level but maybe somebody is interested. Obviously it has daily reloads for the rest of its lifetime as every platinum account has, but depending on the action of course. Also higher weekly boosts and monthly bonus. So there is definitely some value there.
Further details via PM, I dont want stake people to guess which account it is.

According to paragraph 5. i of the official terms of use of the stake.com service is intended for personal use. Selling an account may be considered a violation of this clause of the rules. In addition, the service is prohibited to use by minors and persons from countries included in the list of prohibited jurisdictions (point 5.iii) and this should also be remembered.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of transferring money on the Ethereum network is too high on: August 27, 2020, 07:23:50 PM
It's very annoying, I tried to send 3$ worth of token to kucoin this morning and the gas fee won't go down more than 2.6$, it doesn't make any sense to sell low valued tokens right now, other blockchain like Tron or litecoin and ripple are the best alternative

You should calculate all costs and expenses before performing any operations. In recent months, the cost of gas in the Ethereum network is really very high, this was further compounded by the increase in the price of Ethereum, which further increased the cost of commissions in terms of dollars.
If this transaction fee price is high for you, you should wait until it becomes cheaper.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 26, 2020, 11:42:48 PM
There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
If ETH has not been able to deal with the expensive transaction fees, there may be other options for new cryptos, but I am not sure to see a new crypto replacing ETH, but I think BNB is more worthy of replacing ETH, unfortunately BNB is only being promoted for people who hold BNB , never used to be promoted to all communities so they lack community

However, even I have seen many projects over the years that set a goal to replace and overtake ETH. For example, the EOS focused on high-speed transactions. The developers of this coin raised a lot of money for the implementation of their project. However, EOS has not become more popular than Ethereum. If with such huge money it was not possible to overtake ETH, what can we say about new projects with difficulty attracting 10 million dollars?
772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What went wrong here? on: August 26, 2020, 09:21:39 PM
Hi

I entered a trade today and bought ALGO. The price broke from a triangle pattern but within 5 mins of entering the trade the price began to fall. Did I enter the trade too early after breakout ? I have added the chart below:

Thousands of traders face such problems every day. They arise from incorrect technical analysis, from deceptive insider information, from their own conjectures and unjustified hopes. Imagine what would happen if every trader would be to write about similar deals here.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What DeFi projects are your radar this week? on: August 26, 2020, 07:43:39 PM
"DeFi stands for decentralized finance, which is an umbrella term for digital assets and financial smart contracts, protocols, and decentralized applications. It may rightfully be defined as the movement that promotes the use of decentralized networks and open source software to create multiple types of financial services.

According to Forbes, DeFi has become a global alternative to traditional finance in the blink of an eye and currently is reimagining the way we do finance.
"

Let's hop on the DeFi wave. One thing I love about this new trend is that it's like ICO's have grown up and have become more responsible. Let alone, the community hypes up other businesses and brings more attention here than BTC itself, which is great. BTC always comes up in conversation when we talk about new things like DeFi.

Were there no projects with decentralized funding in the past years? There were enough of them. No one called them DeFi. In 2017 and 2018, there were just ICO's for all projects. Later, they started collecting money with the help of IEO.  Now we have switched to the new term collection of investment for DeFi projects. However, the essence remains the same: the development team under the promise to create something promising raises money for the project.
In the desire to invest, I look at the prospects of the project, not whether it belongs to the DeFi or not.

775  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino design setup for failure? Is it gambling to loose by site design? on: August 26, 2020, 12:39:00 PM
are you trying to qudo points for posting or just bored - there is no debate in this whatsoever - because you will never see a user complaining about maxbet accidentally busting in casino royal.bet  - stake.com - bitsler - wolfbet - fortunejack -  ( Because... guess what? - the designed they have is to prevent this type of incident and not to gain from users accidentally clicking on faulty or purposely )

cheerios =) off bed

For the sake of interest, I checked and indeed many popular online casinos pop up a warning that you want to bet the maximum amount.
If the warning does not pop up, it is a failure of the casino developers. Perhaps this is a common mistake, or perhaps it was done on purpose. It is impossible to prove that they did it intentionally.
In any case, the best punishment for them will be that you stop playing there and they will lose a regular visitor. Perhaps someone else after reading your message will also decide not to play there anymore.
776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Twitter on: August 25, 2020, 07:40:20 PM
To be honest I am watching some of these self-proclaimed crypto experts/analysts for reference and from that, I will do my own research and I will decide for myself and not because they are shilling or promoted it. Sometimes there are helpful and sometimes not. I just look in your example he promoted Blockfi and recently I have seen a news on theblockcrypto that Blockfi has raised a wooping 50 million dollars check below link for reference.

Source: https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/75338/blockfi-raises-50-million-eyes-potential-spac

the legend says that somewhere there is a successful top trader who in addition to his job has extra time to write daily TA and charts, analyze many different strategies and share it on Twitter that the masses of anonymous traders would make little profit. but it is only a legend, which is btw I invented it right now.
Now serious is it really to expect that experienced trader will waste his time to write TA on Twitter or anywhere for free? the first thing is that there is probably no time to throw and second, they probably earn enough money, so they don’t need to try to explain it all to others for free or for few bucks.

I have a friend who is quite successful in trading on the crypto market. At the time, I asked him why you do not write here on the forum and do not share your forecasts from time to time. He said that it is not only a waste of time, but also sometimes very harmful to write about what you plan to do, because other experienced traders can play against your positions.
777  Other / Archival / Re: Запрoс на oтoбражение траста в Альткoинаx on: August 25, 2020, 07:09:49 PM

778  Other / Archival / Re: [Request to admins] Please, add the trust to the Russian section of Altcoins on: August 25, 2020, 07:07:59 PM
I support this initiative. The alternative cryptocurrency section is really one of the most popular sections in the Russian locale, where there are announcements of new cryptocurrencies, bounty campaigns and airdrops, and it would be very useful to show the trust of all users there.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 25, 2020, 06:47:38 PM

I very much doubt that people will even want to give out information about themselves that they actually play gambling games in online casinos. In society, as a rule, there is a bias towards people who play in casinos. Therefore, in some cases, even the fact that someone will know about your online casino games will be enough for a person to stop playing in an online casino.

Government or any public or private organization should not intervene or interrupt in any activity that people are doing that may have a bad impression in the public, the general society has a bad impression on gamblers and this will discriminate them, they can just pose serious warnings but it's on the person to imposed it to himself not the government.

Government intervention in people's Affairs is a complex thing. Here it is important to observe a fine line, how to set the rules of the game and not directly interfere in people's Affairs. It seems to me that it is impossible to set limits on the amount of loss so that they do not affect anyone. Someone can afford to lose tens of thousands of dollars and still not get serious damage to the wallet. And for someone, losing a hundred bucks will already be a serious loss.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 23, 2020, 11:20:48 PM
...most likely ordinary players who do not have problems with gambling addiction will suffer.

I agree, especially those people that can take those losses ten or even maybe a hundred times the set cap by this regulation. I don't think they will be willing to face an ombudsman just to prove that they can take a loss since that might affect their persona negatively knowing that they are gambling like that and in that huge amount.
