761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BanxShares as good as GAW Paycoin? on: March 23, 2016, 09:06:25 AM

Do you understand that he has given his investors a "lifeline" because he wants to do the right thing?[/b]

You got it bad, bizzyb........ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome

The "right thing" is to not fake data when you seek funds from others, and continue to fake the (his) order book volume for many months. The man is fake, and a fail, and you are a victim of that.

Hey, at least you count as a 'real' friend on facebook, and not one of the thousands of fake ones. I mean, at least you havnt been bought...........oh!

How many nervous ticks, or touches to the face, at certain moments in his videos, do you need to watch before people realise Marks underlying/true motives?

Mark should have shut down Banx and walked away?
On the day he decided that he needs to employ fake and bullshit marketing tactics to sell the idea of Banx.....yes, he should have immediately shut down Banx and walked away. That time would have been around 18 months ago. Tooooo late now.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BanxShares as good as GAW Paycoin? on: March 23, 2016, 08:36:33 AM
What problem is BANX trying to solve?
How to run an honest operation.

That's how we managed the prosecution of Ryan Kennedy....
Ryan is awaiting trail for rape charges. Are you saying he has additionally and officially been charged with Moolah fraud charges? Cos if not, why do you seek to garner recognition for something you have no involvement in, when that something involves rape?

I applied today to Bleutrade, Polienix, and Bittrex for listing...
Who did you contact here? Can you post the communication/s please?

@DigiByte team
Over a year ago, $250,000 was obtained as a private investment. How was that money spent, and what are the plans to obtain more funding?

Originally DigiByte was a Scrypt coin with a broken difficulty adjustment algorithm. As Scrypt ASICs began to take over, only a small number of people were left mining DigiByte for many months. Then it forked to multi-algo, using Myriad's implementation, and reduced its supply. When there were issues with Myriad's PoW selection algorithm at the time, they hired a third party contractor to fix the issues, I believe.

Ok mister myriad, We know you want some attention for Myriad but this has nothing to do with the question Stereotype asked.

Jared received the 250k funding from a private angel investor and also joined forces with Tofugear for further developments.
Please read the following if you have not already: http://www.coindesk.com/digibyte-raises-250k-altcoin-retail-payments/

As you possible can see on http://www.dgbholdings.com/pages/team the Digibyte team now have several team members on board focusing to bring Digibyte to the mainstream users.
Digibyte development team already created allot of services around Digibyte and maintaining/upgrading the service takes a big part of the investment/resources.

As you have read in the article about the investment there is a ongoing collaboration for Digibyte between Tofugear and the investor.

I hope  this is for you enough information to be satisfied with your question.

I missed the Coindesk article. It explains it well. Cheers for that.

Just noticed the business development manager speaks fluent Mandarin. Hope thats being leveraged for all its worth!

Is there a public business plan regarding the gaming site, anywhere? Expected revenue, overheads, user stats etc?

chances are very high that someone bruteforced your password or got it in any other way. have you used your password in a hosted web wallet or somewhere else? you definitely got hacked

Hi
can anyone explain what happened?!?
I have a wallet NXT-4QPX-XZLA-J4CT-46XBA and Nov 28th last year I bought some coins and transfered them in and left it.
I upgraded to 1.7.5 and checked my balance and it shows a transfer out of all my coins on 17th Nov?
2/17/2016 4:22:17 Ordinary Payment 35'050.12829421 1 You > NXT-VL7H-6SF4-9VLC-63FNS
I hadn't logged in or even accessed my account since before Dec until now.
Can anyone please help explain why my balance is zero? I know it's not a lot of coins but I had planned to hold on to them long term.

I've never used this password anywhere else, it's a 8 word sentence with capitals and a number in it.
I posted this on reddit a few days ago and didn't get anywhere?

Thanks in advance.

Funny thing is that this password is different from any other password I've ever used and I'd say a bit more secure.
I've not used it anywhere else or wrote it down.
With 35 characters (including spaces) I'd have thought a brute forceattack would have taken centuries!
Was it a commonly known sentence with the start of the words capitalised?

The start word was capitalised but I wouldn't say it was a well known sentence and I'd added a number to it.
Well if they're gone, they're gone I guess
Would be interesting to people, what the sentence was. Sounding like a clever phrase script at work, possibly.

Isnt this a candidate for 'takeover'? The dev's actions, or lack there-of, are the actions of someone who has given up on his original goals and aspirations for this project. The fair thing to do is to hand as much of whats left of this project, over to someone else to have a go at 'developing' something with it.
The people just hoping BTCDrak will give any more meaningful time to this, and pulling something out the bag, are simply holding bags of valueless hope IMO.
I might be a good coin to takeover. It's listed Bittrex

there's not much to do here until counterparty does something meaningful.  xch is a clone of XCP with some cool notary function (think FCT before FCT existed).

XCH insanely low price under 1000 satoshis !!!! XCP huge news this one will fly soon! BTCDRAK WHERE ARE YOU?  Cheesy

My understanding is that t0 assests are not Counterparty assets... or are you just conflating a similar technology with the rising tide raises all boats philosophy?

I think he meant to post about the Counterparty smart contract re-focus news. Rising boats would apply, potentially.....depending how focused the development is, of course  Lips sealed

Interesting conversations in the congress.
I did not expect Paul Snow can speak and present his technology that good.

He speaks from 1:10:40 to 1:16

Actually, that blockchain explanation (signatures/hash's), would make sense to Joe Public's ear. Gonna use that. Nicely done Paul.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BanxShares as good as GAW Paycoin? on: March 17, 2016, 08:53:17 AM
Coinmarketcap's last price says that BANX was trading for 540,000 satoshis.

Now that BANX is traded on BitShares, the price has quickly settled to about 150 satoshis.

So it's selling for 3600 times less than the ICO price.

Is that the new all-time world record for the biggest price drop of any coin?
Not arguing about the price taking a nose dive, but the main trading is happening here
https://banx.io/trade?c=BANX&p=BTC
Last price was 2999 sats not 150.

But then, you tend to have a habit of trying to only find the worse case scenario to benefit your oh so open mind Smiley

It might be a good time to edit your OP to

"Re: Are BanxShares as good as GAW Paycoin?  Obviously not, case closed"
You've done a good job, maybe now close the thread and find the next internet villain.
So Mark and ByronP can still decide and fix whatever price they wish, as they did for all of last year with around 90% of fake volume, and lies about who was creating said volume? Case is not closed bizzyb, while this scenario can still exist.
The next internet villain/s are whoever operates cryptomic.com.
How can they decide and fix whatever price they wish?
I havent followed Bitshares and how third parties connect to the platform, so educate me....how does the dual pricing you describe work?
Does the 'intergration' now completely prevent Mark and ByronP from controlling any prices on Banx/Cryptomic?
776  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Selling] *Crypto Imperator Bitcoin Physical coins! Unique design! 10.000 Bits on: March 17, 2016, 08:41:06 AM
I personally prefer the BTC format (so 0.01 BTC).
Me too. Never understood why people want to go with mBTC or even smaller denominations.
I think originally, the idea was to make the spoken words less of a clumsy mouthful when explaining BTC pricing, so you dont have to recite "zero point zero zero.....BTC". Sounds easier/better to say "two thousand millibit", for example.

No. Just be transparent and show us how Lisk is going to use and allocate it, when its appropriate.

I don't understand ETH succes

Ethereum became successful because its team got an obvious thing - the world outside of this forum doesn't care about BTT and its users opinion. At all.

hahahahahahaha! Exactly! Which is why I find this Trollpit amusing sometimes too!
Yes, but the amusement value is limited when the same regurgitated blah blah, is posted over and over. Also, can the trolls please up the quality and post some facts for a change.
Bring back crumbs/NLC !
