761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC? on: May 05, 2019, 07:52:37 AM
Based on https://coinmarketcap.com/. XRP defeated ETH again. Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC too in the future?
Not really, although XRP charges less fee than BTC, most people will still prefer BTC as it's the first ever coin that was created in cryptocurrency. No one can beat the pioneer of the cryptocurrency.
762  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks against the crypto on: May 04, 2019, 01:00:24 AM
Because of popularity of cryptocurrency and blockchain, banks should adopt and cope-up with it because cryptocurrency can replace banks in the future. Like email replaced the snailmail. If they remain the same, people will not use banks.
Not necessarily. Banks will still be the medium to convert fiat into crypto vice versa; they both can be used by the society as they have both purpose, pros and cons. Also, we can't compare the situation of snailmail being replaced by email as banks aren't replaceable
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do Crypto poker players play and why? on: May 03, 2019, 11:21:29 PM
I understand that the best gambling sites are those you can trust, but how can you trust?
If you already found the best and reputed gambling site, you won't think much in trusting it; specially if it's recommended by many people and you really see that it's running for a long period of time.

How will you get your money if they will scam you?
There's no way to get your money back if they scam you; that's why you have to choose the most trusted ones. Don't put huge ot money on a gambling site that's new and just few players are using it.
764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to recover when you are down 90% of your portfolio? on: May 03, 2019, 10:48:48 PM
Hey guys, my friends and I were down 90% of our crypto portfolio. We bought at the highs and we bought shitcoins. Now we are still down significantly and i just want to ask if you guys have strategy to recover from this? Cheers!
Since you told us that they are shitcoins, better to accept the fact that you won't recover it by just keeping or holding it and wait until it come back it its ATH. Better to just sell it and invest it into legit coins such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: April 30, 2019, 04:10:12 PM
My understanding for IEOs is basically instead of project handling raising funds etc. It will be for an exchange to do so.

An IEO hosted by Yobit or Binance can clearly not be compared. In other words, the exchange gives more credibility to the project regardless of whether it's worth it or not.

Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a bad thing and make people focus on the exchange hosting rather than the actual project and what the team is offering etc.?

We can't deny the fact that there will be always scam projects no matter what. IEO for me is better than ICO in terms of rasing tokens as it requires a partnership between the exchange and project owner. This means that when a project turns out to be a scam, the reputation of an exchange would be affected and any exchange owner won't let that happen. Therefore, through IEO the number victim of scam projects can/could be lessen.
767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL IS THE BEST OPTION FOR ME NOW on: April 30, 2019, 01:06:34 PM
Depending on what you are Holding and why you are doing that I personally think that is good to hold some assets and some are just seriously terrible to hold so before keeping all tokens/coins make sure to access the situation first and then decide how to run your portfolio and then the other thing is to make sure that you are holding just one coin
A lot of things to be consider and we should be thinking that coins will have of that chances to grow otherwise we just holding for nothing in return especially those altcoin that have a low market volume. I've preferred not into long term holding rather than into short term holder cause it gives me chances to play with the market and do trading while holding it. This is to take advantage of market fluctuations.
In my opinion it's still better if you have separate funds for long term investment aside from your short term holding so you may benefit in the long run with less effort. Being consistent in short term holding is difficult. You need more time to find the best coin for you to hold.

769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: April 30, 2019, 12:16:56 PM
Guys, I'm really interesting where do you chat with your Crypto Gambling guys/buddies/bros?

I tend to use Telegram. It offers the best service for me to reach out my friends in gambling is it doesn't require you to show your real identity. Also, making an announcement in Telegram is convenient to everyone as it can be pinned unlike messenger and other platforms.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when cryptocurrencies can be used to buy basic needs? on: April 30, 2019, 10:39:20 AM
A lot of projects are going on blockchain and new cryptocurrencies are being launched day by day but when can we actually see  them floating in real market for real use cases like buying a cigarette or bread? is it possible?
It's possible and it's happening now. There are a lot of merchants who are now accepting Bitcoin is means of payment however they are not huge companies. I heard that some online shopping such as Amazon are considering cryptocurrency to be used as means of payment however we can't say as of now when will it happen. I think there are regulations who are not finaliized yet that are being waited in order for them to use it.
771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: April 30, 2019, 09:31:21 AM
daily trading, and with a target that is too far away, if you have the desired results I close the trade and not greedy to continue.
greed only brings someone to a great risk, and also a loss. remaining grateful is the opposite of greedy words. in trade, I think that is the main trait that needs to be avoided. always grateful for each benefit we produce will make us avoid greed. maybe having a target will get better.
Every trader has their own target before they trade; however not of all of them has a back up plan nor uses stop loss. Stop loss is the best thing to use in order to overcome greed. It save a lot of traders; specially newbie traders who's getting influenced by their emotion.
772  Economy / Economics / Re: What currency shall human use when colonizing Mars on: April 30, 2019, 08:34:37 AM
Living on mars just an imagination IMO. Earth just one plannet that can be lived by human, if earth already destroyed maybe there is no human who live in this world. Just expect cryptocurrency can be use by people on earth now, there are many chance to do it. Regulation just for a momment, government will look cryptocurrency as alternative payment system because it will help them.

You have a valid point. Why should anyone try to settle there? We have enough space on earth and now the human population growth is also slowing down. It is extremely expensive to create human settlements in Mars, as it doesn't have enough oxygen in the atmosphere or Ozone layer to protect the inhabitants from harmful solar radiation. Mars can be used as a temporary outstation, from where research activity and space-launches can be conducted. But creating permanent human settlements doesn't make any sense.
People doesn't stop exploring; living in the Mars is one way of doing it. Although we can say that we have enough resources here, it would still be better if we can know what is life to other planets wherein orgnisms are able to live.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is favourite bounty in 2019?? on: April 30, 2019, 07:30:51 AM
I stopped participating in bounty year back. After lots of unsuccessful projects I have may be my mistake of choosing wrong project. I wonder still anyone getting profit from bounty . If it is please share us your story.
I got nothing in this year but shitcoins. I'm still waiting from the bounty the I earned amidst 2017 and 2018 but it seems that it won't come anymore due to regulation and the market condition. Ideally, it's not recommended to join in any bounty campaign nowadays if you aren't patient enough.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: April 30, 2019, 06:56:02 AM
Being a recreational gambler, I am not in favor of undergoing the KYC process. Gambling is not illegal in my country, but I am not very comfortable with providing complete strangers (and that too guys associated with the gambling industry) with my ID documents. No matter how much bonus they are ready to provide, I'll just skip them.
I don't think it is a bad thing that we should have kyc in gambling.  It is a business and it is good we know those that are playing gambling in other to be able to have good control on the activities of online gambling.  However for those that deals with blockchain I think there might not be need for kyc.
There's no point of KYC in gambling actually. People doesn't need to give their identity information in order to gamble wether it's online or offline. Gambling is protected enough to keep them being abused by players; I think transparency in gambling instutions should be the focus more on.
775  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exchanges constantly expose you to the risk of losing your capital. on: April 30, 2019, 04:17:54 AM
I also noticed that after listing at the crypto exchange, coins first have a high price, and then they fall, but this is hardly bounty hunters' fault. Rather, the price of all the coins is manipulated by the exchanges and the teams of those coins that go to the exchange. A team can sell coins cheaply, causing token holders to panic and sell their coins, after which the price drops even lower.
It's not only the team but also it's also because of early investors. As early investors don't see much future of their investment; they tend to sell as early as possible. Meanwhile, bounty hunters or any promoters that receive that token for reward, will get their tokens at longer time compare to investors thus they are not the major/main cause of devaluing of market.
776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ? on: April 30, 2019, 03:36:56 AM
I buy cryptocurrencies as a store of value. I believe that cryptocurrency will replace fiat in the future. Sooner than later, we will no longer experience delays in sending or receiving money so I am simply investing ahead of time. A
In my opninion cryptocurrency won't replace fiat as they have different pros and cons. We all know that no matter how modern are we right now, there are always people who can't adopt it. Cryptocurrency is just an alternative means of making transaction; it's very beneficial convenient for everyone but we can't rely on it everytime.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: April 29, 2019, 09:00:22 AM
Today year of 2019 ICO's are not profitable for me because there a lot of project that seems legit but actually scam. So doing research is good for those who wanted to stay investing in ICO.
Indeed. Most of ICOs nowadays has a good whitepaper and attractive platform; however most of them are just inspired by successful projects that are launched way back in 2017. Thus, doing a research before investing nowadays isn't enough. In my opnion more factors should be considered.
778  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: April 29, 2019, 06:58:16 AM
The percentage of BTC in my portfolio is 70%, the 20% is for ETH, and the 10% is for other tokens that I got from participating in bounty campaigns. I'm holding more Bitcoin as I feel more secure on it. My second choice is ETH because it's very useful for me and I see a lot of future on it.
779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please be careful with traders who.... on: April 29, 2019, 05:17:52 AM
Most of them are looking for ways to cheat, we make payments and then they disappear and we don't get any knowledge. I would rather meet face to face for a mentor.
Indeed. Some are legit as there are professional traders that only trade at the morning and trade for a short period of time. They are waiting the market to open so they can get in first then after they accumalate decent profit, they'll just close their position and continue doing their stuffs like learning something new or teaching other in trading.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about the gambling site's having a promotion? on: April 29, 2019, 01:12:13 AM
It truly helps in getting good userbase, particularly the promotion serves to be an stand to prove the legitimacy of the gambling website. We've got lots and lots of old gambling websites which we has gained good reputation and to stay competent it is must for the new ones to broadcast them through different promotions to make people test their games and continue their participation.
Not necessarily for legitimacy since gambling doesn't need to be actively promoted to consider it as legitimate. The advantage of gambling site which are being promoted actively is that lot of user may use it does a better prize could be offered so it's both good for players and that certai gambling site.
