Be careful,  Super8 is connected with Datbit, scam project!

7742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Datbit - SCAM ICO - stealing people's identity on: September 20, 2019, 11:10:36 AM
So, despite Datbit being obvious scam, that didn't stop exchanges from listing it. Among those were BiteBTC, P2PB2B ( they delisted them recently)and TOPBTC. And this last one mentioned, TOPBTC is the only one where Datbit still has volume.
Listing on exchange doesn't proved that project is legit. Listing in exchange just another way to scam investors. Exchange demand huge amount for listing nowadays, that's why they never bother to diligence of projects background fairly. But not all exchanges are same, there is some well reputed exchange as well.

Show high volume isn't really very difficult, who know perhaps scammer team trading by themselves in order to attract more traders. And when more traders will in, team could sell their remaining tokens through exchange. That's the way how scamming peoples even after listing on exchange. We can say that was fake volume created by project team. Although all photos are fake, but someone behind of that project. They are doing that shady behaviour.

Yeah, they are often into this  together, both the exchanges and the  ICOs. It would take max 5 minutes to check projects like Datbit to be obvious that something fishy tthere, you don't even have to be expert.

But unfortunately a lot of traders never check anything about tokens/coins they are buying, they believe exchanges. Especially big ones like Binance.
All they are interested in volume, and gain. Some of them will even make some profit, but most of them will loose everything when team decides to dump all tokens.

That's why i mentioned importance of due diligence.
7743  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SCAM] SUPER8 -Highly suspicious, most likely connected with DATBIT scam! on: September 20, 2019, 10:50:52 AM
As it is usually the case, investigating one scam often takes you to another one. And in this one, Datbit brought me to Super8, highly suspicious project that has too many similarities with Datbit scam for it to be just a coincidence.

So let's start with similarities between those

Super8 team

Datbit team

Similarities between Ashokkumar R.J/Larry Ducles  and Sakib Raj/Margaret L. Ely  descirptions are obvious

Super8 contact info from their WP

Datbit "team member"

Same name as telegram username.A bit too much to be coincidence as well.

Forum user  that started 1st   Super8 Ann (thomassaba)  thread was also shilling Datbit thread, and for that he got negative trust

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1100821

From my experience, this is simply too much to be just coincidence, most likely  it is the same team behind both ICOs.

7744  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Datbit - SCAM ICO - stealing people's identity on: September 20, 2019, 08:43:50 AM
First apologies for replying on a thread that is made almost 1 year ago, but i think that it is important. I was in the middle of scam thread creation when i saw this thread, so might as well share it here.

So, despite Datbit being obvious scam, that didn't stop exchanges from listing it. Among those were BiteBTC, P2PB2B ( they delisted them recently)and TOPBTC. And this last one mentioned, TOPBTC is the only one where Datbit still has volume.
As seen in the ss, DBT/ETH pair has  decent volume, most likely  with some shady practice.

On top of that, there was even a trading competition on TOPBTC, additionally promoting this SCAM and making more people fall for this.

That just shows that we  can't trust exchanges at all. As seen from this example they are not capable ( most likely not willing) to do basic background check before listing and are basically ready  to list just about any ICO that is willing to pay listing fee.

Do your due diligence before buying tokens, trust no one!

ROUND 1 RESULTS

Few surprising results last night like Borussia M. loosing against Wolfsberger 0-4, Dudelange beating APOEL away 4:3, CSKA managed to loose 1-5  while leading at the halftime.

Star of the night was  Loris Karius, with yet another brilliant reaction   Shocked
7746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 19, 2019, 05:41:27 PM
Incredible first half in Zagreb, Dinamo is completely dominating Atalanta and leads 3:0.

I knew that Dinamo will have chance against Atalanta but i didn't see this coming. They are good team, with one of the best  young players in Europe ( Dani Olmo) but i didn't expect this. I really hope they can continue like that in the 2nd half.

Bare in mind, Atalanta finished 3rd last season in Serie A, while scoring most goals (77) , so they are far from bad team, and that shows how good Dinamo Zagreb can be.

On the end, 4:0 for Dinamo Zagreb  Grin Grin
I believed that Dinamo have chances in this game but this was beyond all expectations.
Now they seem to have a very good chance of being second in the group, behind Manchester.
Olmo is a fantastic player and will soon be worth much more than the current € 40 million euros.
Watch him carefully!
Italian football, with the exception of Juventus, seems to be in deep crisis already long time.

Regarding Dinamo Zagreb being 2nd in the group, while being possible, i don't think that it will happen. They have good chance for being 3rd though and continuing in Europa league. That would also be a very good result.

But maybe i'm just too cautious  as i got used to disappointments when it comes to Dinamo Zagreb and Euro games, i would say that this generation is even better than the one in the late 90s with Viduka, Prosinecki, Cvitanovic..

Isn't tires? LoL
recycling tires is bad for environment aswell. I heard one of the car companies has made tires that can lasts 10x as much as a regular tires

Tyres is correct spelling too, it  is mainly used by Brits.

OT

Seems like in Africa they make sandals out of tires

It's nice to see myself ranked 3rd among Jr Member merit earners, i must say that i'm pleasantly surprised. I read a lot of qq about merit system and that is impossible to rank nowadays, but this list shows  it otherwise.

This  kind of list is incentive for others that it is possible to earn decent amount of merits even if you are lower rank.

Tesko. Trenutno nema ni jedna. Sa zadnjom izmenom i uvodjenjem merita, jr rank prakticno nije ni u razmisljanju. Za member postoje, mislim da windice i rocketpot imaju svake nedelje otvoreno po par member mesta

7754  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We are living in the best period known to man! on: September 18, 2019, 10:52:29 AM

A cave man who has all his needs of life fulfilled, and sits comfortably on his log or stone chair covered with soft skins, at the entrance to his cave, and enjoys as he watches the rain gently coming down, has way more peace than a bunch of jokers who are trying to get through traffic twice a day, and scrambling to make ends meet, go to an early grave because of stress.

If cave man had it so great, why don't you sell all your belongings and try to live that kind of life. Simply give up on all the progress we made through thousands of years and live stress free and relaxed lifestyle. If that sounds so appealing to you, try it, and  let's see how long will you last.

There are hermits that live that kind of life, be one of them if that is so great, put your money where your mouth is Cheesy
7755  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How would you feel about a law which requires all babies to be vaccinated? on: September 18, 2019, 10:47:43 AM
You're all very funny.

So you all support the choice for parents to let their baby play on the highway I guess?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epidemiology_of_measles#United_States
Vaccines have just saved millions of life, nothing important of course.

Vaccines are mandatory in most EU and I don't see how in hell anyone can support for the right of a parent to let their children unprotected.

Your passion for freedom is moronic. What's next? I want freedom for parents to chose to sexually abuse their children if they think it's the right way to educate them?

If parent don't have the rights then how the hell government have it?

Parents have rights, but they are not the owners of the their children. And often they are not qualified to decide whether something is good or bad for their children, as unfortunately there are many bad parents around,  those children need protection. Like Jehova Witnesses , when they don't allow their children to accept blood even in life threatening situations.

Problem with letting every parent  decide about every type of vaccination is that if % of people that are vaccinated drop below Herd Immunity Threshold (you can read more about herd immunity and its importance here) we could see again contagious diseases like smallpox reappearing, or some other contagious diseases spreading massively, and those with weaker immunities due various illnesses could be endangered.
Parents gave birth which bring the child to this world which means they are the owners right?

Of course not, at least not in the civilized world.

As long as we all die, everything is meaningless.

On the contrary.

As far as we know, we only have this life here on earth, and because of that limited time that we have, it pushes us forward and makes us use the time we have here as best as we can/know. Without this human ambition and curiosity, we would still be in caves and fighting bears for survival.

So because we will die one day, everything matters and we should try to enjoy more this time that we were given.

7759  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nexxus Rewards - SCAM - Fake team member on: September 17, 2019, 03:09:58 PM
I am the CEO and Founder of Nexxus Rewards.  This negative review of our project has been posted that is not accurate. We absolutely are not a scam.

Ironically, I have been fighting scams myself for over 5 years and I host a video blog called Cryptocurrency Myth Busters at: www.CryptoMyths.com. I also have researched and reported on many MLM crypto scams like OneCoin and most recently Cloud Token.

The one single misused image was the only fault with our website. Everything else is 100% accurate.  Our team member, Joe Prescia is real, just his picture on the website was borrowed. Scammers fake most or all of the team.  I've tracked down many scammers too.

You can review my bio on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/bobwood56/
OR on my personal website at: http://whoisbobwood.com/about/

What can I do to prove that we are not a scam?

-- Thanks
-- Bob Wood

You really expect that people will trust you after you got caught red handed?

If you are indeed tracking scammers for years, then you would know that this kind of practice where you used someone else's picture is against any professional ethic, and you should be well aware of the consequences. All i know is that i wouldn't invest in company that resorts to these kind of things.
7760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 17, 2019, 12:26:08 PM
That is an easy question to answer. The majority of the gamblers are poor if not all of them because what would be the point to gamble if you are rich enough? It doesn’t make any sense and most of the gamblers play to win money so I think most of the gamblers are poor.

You honestly think that Las Vegas, city built in the middle of nowhere became so popular  and built it's wealth because of massive amount of poor people gambling there? Or for example Monte  Carlo, tiny state state on the French Riviera, with 2nd highest GDP per capita in the world, that built it's known by gambling and casinos. Or maybe Macau, another top gambling destination?

Some people gamble for fun, not all are desperate  and poor people looking to sort their life issues through that.

Montecarlo and Las Vegas are different, all rich people go to Vegas while in Monaco are living some of the wealthiest persons on earth right now like F1 drivers and alikes. It is only natural for Monaco to be a rich place as almost all people living there are rich so the casino there is just a passing time hobby. In Vegas a lot of Us people go to have some fun,all the classes.I still think the majority are poor people as middle class family I consider a family which can afford one or two vacations every year, can afford a surgery and can fulfill all of their expenses monthly with their salary, these person do not really need to gamble.

Well you claimed that majority of gamblers are poor because "what's the point of gambling if you are rich enough". And i pointed out that there are bunch of rich and middle class people gambling regularly, as people gamble for various reasons.

Poor people gamble with a hope that they will solve their bad financial situation and other issues by gambling.
Rich and middle class people  play for other reasons. Their need for money in this case is secondary reason why they play, first one is adrenaline and excitement that winning brings. I met bunch of lawyers and doctors who simply liked to play a bit after a hard day. They weren't hardcore gamblers or high rollers, they simply played for fun.
