That's the cost of the shift of the industry, those kind of jobs went to Asia. We have  to adapt and keep learning new skills whole our life, that's how it goes.

College degree price indeed went up a lot, but if you are smart and choose something that is in high demand, you should be fine.If you decide to study gender studies, indology or whatever useless stuff , be prepared to have issues paying off student loans. Or if you don't have any ambition/skill and are satisfied with work in Mcdonalds don't be surprised to get low salary.

If there is one country in the world where if you are ambitious and capable you have good chance for success, that's United States. Unemployment level is at the lowest in the last 50 years, anyone capable shouldn't have issues in finding the job.

30 years ago 35% of the world population lived in extreme poverty, now number is less than 10%. Do tell me more how people made more money back then.

Yep, I saw those.

It is similar thing when it comes to crime rate in the U.S.



One would think that majority of people will notice this decline in crime, but no, same story.



People are simply more inclined to notice negative , than positive. And it is a shame, as we are obviously making progress, despite what media likes to serve us.

...and yet somehow the majority of people believe that the world was a better place 20,30,50 years ago. Why is that when all major statistics show it otherwise?
Is it media, ignorance, a tendency to look at the past through rose tinted glasses, nostalgia? Or maybe all of it combined?

So let's look at some  statistics how the world has  changed through the years:


Extreme poverty

This is one of the basic metrics. As seen in the picture, less than 40 years ago a huge percentage of people lived in extreme poverty, by 1990 the number was still big but decreasing, almost 35% of the world population still lived in extreme poverty.And now, approximately 10% people still live in extreme poverty. Of course that is still big number, but the change is obvious, and the change is huge! That number is expected to decrease to under 5% by 2030.
Just to add, the poverty line is set at $1.90 per day and it is adjusted per income level in each country.






Child mortality

In the 1800s more than 40% children didn't survive their first 5 years, in the next 100 years that number dropped to 36%, in 1960 the number dropped to 18%, and currently we are at 4%. Astonishing progress!








Life expectancy

Yet another example of how we are improving, the chart says it all. For example, life expectancy in Africa in 1950 was only 35 years, and currently it is at almost 60 years.That makes it approximately a 70% increase in less than 60 years. The increase in Asia is even more remarkable, 75% in the same period! But not only less developed regions increased life expectancy, it is the case in the most developed regions too.







Literacy

In 1950, 44% of the world population was illiterate, and in the next 60 years that number decreased to under 15%, with an obvious tendency to decrease further.

As seen from this data, world is improving, people are living better in general, whether we notice it or not.

Of course, there is much work to do, there are many areas that need improvement, and some issues have to be tackled  more seriously like the environment, but it is safe to say that we are moving forward as a species and people should be a bit more optimistic about the future. There are less wars than before, less famines, less violence.
Pessimists would like to say that nuclear war could change all that very fast, but we were in bigger danger of that 50-60 years ago than we are now.

But the media like to paint a different picture, they know that what sells best are the bad news, and today we are more connected than ever, getting news from all over the world and giving us the impression that world is going for worse, while the situation is actually different, when looked from distance, and when we are looking at the big picture.

Koliko sam skuzio, Cyrus je Rumunj. E sad je pitanje koliko kvalitetno moze netko moderirati podforum ako ne razumije taj jezik. Ko recimo da @marlboroza ili @Daniel91 idu moderirati turski podforum (pretpostavljam da neznaju turski :p)

Ne kuzim logiku podforuma za specificne jezike, a bez lokalnog moderatora koji zna  jezik. To samo u biti govori koliko ih je briga za sve to, i za samu kvalitetu foruma.

I am sorry to hear that they managed to scam you and i hope you will be more careful next time when you invest.Remember, if anyone is offering you big profit, start checking everything and dig. That is what i did and you can see in my report that they have many red flags and are obvious scam.

Trust no one!

Americans spoke against that bs propaganda by voting for Trump in the previous president election, and will do the same in the next one where Trump win will be much easier.

They obviously don't know it, but  this kind of media propaganda is actually helping him, as anyone reasonable will see through their agenda and vote for Trump again.
Average Joe is just sick of that, and it will show once again.

Drzi 1:1 jer ljudi vjeruju da ima pokrice. A ljudi vjeruju da Tether ima pokrice zato sto su sami to tvrdili , i u tome je problem oko toga. Ovo su tvrdili do nedavno

Znaci njihova tvrdnja, i na taj nacin su drzali cijenu, kao uostalom i ostali stable coini.


Sada su ipak malo korigirali tu tvrdnju.

Kad je bila ona prica o reviziji prosle godine, tether je pao  na 0.92 na svim burzama, nisu to bas promili. Stvar je u povjerenju, i zato su neke fiat valute jake, jer iza njih stoje jake i stabilne zemlje a neke imaju apoene od milijarde i inflacije od par tisuca % godisnje.

Ja osobno drzim tether max par dana. Znao sam i par mjeseci ono kad je bio konstantan pad prosle godine pa se i profitiralo fino na tome, ali vise se nemam namjeru igrat na taj nacin. Ne vjerujem Bitfinexu kao uostalom ni jednom exchangeu.

Pa za sada tether drzi odnos  cca 1:1 bas zato jer se vjeruje da je 100% backed. A ako nije, onda  sigurno ide dolje.A i taj audit prosle godine, koliko sam citao i koliko se sjecam, on u biti nje radjen po pravilima, tako da to i nije neki dokaz.

A sto se tice usporedbe sa fiat valutama, to ipak nije usporedivo. Iza njih stoji drzave, i sto je drzava jaca, to je i valuta dominantnija. Zato je americki dolar glavna svjestka valuta iako znamo da stancaju koliko im treba, a sa venezuelanskim bolivarom mozes prakticki obrisat guzicu, jer znamo tko stoji iza te valute.

Few days ago I have  been contacted via Telegram by one of the agents ( @oliviaalex) from Lex Capital, an investment company.

Few things stood out when i checked them a bit:

-First  of all, they are not even sure whether they are called Lex Capitals or Lex Capital, those 2 names keep changing  constantly.

-They offer incredibly high profit as it can be seen in the picture below. 10 % profit after only 65 minutes!! You have to be kidding me.






-Various pictures of alleged meetings of Lex Capital investors in their Telegram channel  as seen in the picture below




But, when you google image that picture, you get something completely different

So obviously picture of meeting was taken from there and used as their own.



Another similar example of their "meeting", this time in Czech Republic.



For this one i had to do a bit more digging as google didn't find anything, but i managed to figure it out. Meeting  indeed took place in Czech Republic, but of course it didn't have anything to do with Lex Capital.It was actually a meeting between high officials of Netherland and Czech Republic, organised by Aspen Institute and Embassy of the Netherlands in Prague.

-Similar to those meetings pictures, there are bunch of testimonial videos in their Telegram channel about making easy money with Lex Capital, those are probably just paid random people to do something like that.



They also rely on referral program   , where they give up to 8 % of the investment of each person you bring, making it easier to spread and even more people falling for this.


After all this i think it is safe to say that this is a scam, so beware people. No legit investment company would take  pictures from someone else's meetings and use them as their own, that is a huge red flag! They might sound  believable, but when something is too good to be true, you can be sure with 99.99%  certainty that it is a scam!

Mozda sam samo naivan, ali mislim da je Stellar jedna od kompanija koja zapravo i radi na sirenju kripta u mainstream, te i zeli da se sto vise ljudi ukljuci u pricu, pa od tuda i svi ti airdropovi koji su odlicni upravo za tu svrhu  sirenja kripta medju one kojima se bas i ne ulazu pare, ali bi jednom mogli nakon sto vide benefite kripta. Ja za sada hodlam sve od XLM sto sam dobio od airdropova a i kupio sam nesto. Ne ocekujem to neku divlju zaradu tipa x100 nego hodlam cisto jer mi se svidja ideja, pa sta bude bude.

Naravno da i oni vjerojatno zele zaraditi, ali mislim da im to nije apsolutni prioritet kao 99.99% ostalih kripto projekata te da oni i jesu tu zbog tehnologije. Bar sam ja stekao takav dojam, rekoh mozda sam naivan pa sam popusio pricu.

If you really have inside tips you wouldn't try to sell it here to bunch of random people.If you know anything about betting, you  would know that more you bet on some specific results, the more odds go down, therefore making it less profitable.

Move away people, nothing to see here.

Za ovako velik i aktivan forum (I sa ogromnom količinom raznoraznih scamova) količina admina je smiješno mala. Pa im je onda lakše banat sve po redu nekim automatizmom, nego ići od slučaja do slučaja, jer za to ipak treba vremena. I ljudi.
