781  Economy / Gambling / Re: GambleRock.com - Online Gambling Forums - Official Thread on: June 23, 2019, 11:15:09 PM
this is more of a gambling related information aggregator rather than a gambling portal or a casino
hence you should move the topic to the discussion subsection
I found the information very helpful and structured well , the forum itself is far from being as popular as bitcointalk  Wink but its a start
an interesting feature that allows a user to create his own blog on the platform , have yet to test it out

782  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russia Might Adopt Crypto Regulations within two weeks on: June 23, 2019, 07:14:59 PM
in my years reading bitcointalk and news in general
I learned two things: 1. bitcoin price is unpredictable  2. never trust any cryptorelated news coming from Russia or India
my IMHO - not going to happen , this is not something to just turn the switch on aka issue a bill and the things change
they need infrastructure and at least companies and funds to start moving towards regulating crypto
because once cryptocurrency is treated like assets , there must be a special agency dealing with crimes , special institutions providing official exchange services or banks   , investment funds  etc.
it exists only on paper , at least I heard no such development in Russia
in some unrelated news: there was a huge scandal a fw days ago when a St.Petersburg senator bribed his voters , publicly , with a token of his
he created some cryptocurrency and promised to airdrop it to the ones who would vote for him in the upcoming elections , according to the laws , cryptocurrencies are unregulated , so he , technically , committed no crime

haha , Edward is mega lucky every time he is playing on stream
I remember the beforelast? one where he competed vs Mladen
think he got two! 130x! plinko hits almost head to head
this is some crazy luck , but audaces fortuna juvat - fortune favors  the bold
when you can risk the coins and try some optimistic , in relation to your total bank , bets  you can win big
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: June 23, 2019, 03:40:13 PM
the more I'm reading about it the more skeptical I become as to wherever the current system will allow something big like this to happen
if the project is complete and is not a total flop , the new coin could challenge fiat
yes it is centralized , yes it can be called crypto just because it is somehow connected with the distributed ledger or blockchain
but this could be the first attempt , the real one to overthrow the fiat supremacy as we know it
it could both open the floodgates for the real crypto to enter the day to day people's lives
or it could compete with bitcoin and make it less viable , lets wait and see
one thing for sure:P financial regulators and institutions won't go down without a fight and I expect sooo many different interesting laws directed at Libra very soon

Which timeframe are you talking about exactly? "Tonight" may range from 8 pm to 6 am Wink Didnt see any announcement at the website!

you will be notified in chat prior to the maintenance
there is a notification on the forum in advance , so players are aware and can plan ahead their gambling sessions
and yes , tonight can mean this night european time , but if no concrete hour was mentioned , it means that the maintenance prep works could be shorter or last longer
786  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-21]Wall Street Analyst claims Bitcoin will blast through all-time soon on: June 22, 2019, 09:15:15 PM
Thomas Lee has been at it since the dawn of times
if you make 10 different predictions , some of them might be even close to reality
he has been predicting > 150k growth at some point , I am sure whenever a bulls run occurs the prophecies will be even more generous and numerous
also media following the golden rule: when there is no news , post bitcoin price predictions , you cannot go wrong with them
people will always click on something like : A prominent scientist thinks the Earth will collapse by 2085 or , Wall street analyst says bitcoin will cost 236.999,99$

787  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-22] Bitcoin Price Hits $11K Less Than 24 Hours After Breaking $10K Mark on: June 22, 2019, 07:33:35 PM
Indeed this increase in the Bitcoin price is amazing.
However, I cannot see any article noting the exact reason of this increase. Is there anything special that happened during these days or it is just hype? I am just wondering if this will continue or it will drop.

we can only speculate as to what have caused the rise
some say there is an incognito investment fund that just started to buy the coins at the exchanges , starting at 7000$
but if we stick to the proven news that could influence the bull run my top three would be:

1.Libra - facebook pseudo cryptocoin , which is a hush hush secret , to an extent that everyone knows about it
as much as I am sceptical about the whole idea , it could mean facilitating the use of cryptocoins in an average Joe's day to day life

2.BAKKT pay launching its own crypto wallet within a month
and soon to introduce bitcoin futures trading testing on a federally regulated futures exchange in collaboration with its parent company Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bakkt-to-roll-out-first-bitcoin-futures-testing-in-july-2019

3. FAFT regulations
despite the news not being too positive ,since the idea is to fight money laundering and stricter control over the exchanges
this puts crypto on the same deck as fiat money , hence recognizing it as a potential fiat substitute

788  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Choose your lucky number 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: June 22, 2019, 04:32:54 PM
^^ Wow! Today it's over $120! Congrats, BumbleBee!

I have a question regarding Jackpot. As I read in WinDice FAQ:

Only deposited funds plays count for Jackpot rolls

I have not deposited on WinDice, but I have over 0.0025 BTC on my account there because I won The Poster of the Month contest in April, and my account was credited with 0.0025 BTC. Do I qualify for the Jackpot race, or should I deposit at least something for that?

no it won't count as deposited money
the system won't recognize it automatically , there are two easy ways if you want to hunt jackpot but do not fancy depositing big amounts ( or you already have some balance):
1. withdraw and redeposit , the money will count as deposited ,obviously
2. deposit some small change in the same cryptocurrency , for example - I have 0.01 btc from telegram giveaways and forum contests:
https://forum.windice.io/
https://t.me/windice

I deposit 1000 satoshi and vouala , the balance of 0.01001 is counted as deposited
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? on: June 22, 2019, 03:24:10 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? But I think that Bitcoin will be legally accepted in all the countries within the next 10 years. Not sure about the other crypto coins, but everyone has confidence in Bitcoin, so it can be said that Bitcoin will be fully validated in all countries. Bitcoin's popularity and popularity have increased day by day.
The government of many countries are now thinking about the bitcoin. That day is not far away when Bitcoin will be legally acceptable in all countries.

absolutely sure that it won't be accepted in every country in 10 years
guess the situation overall will be more positive for cryptocurrencies and bitcoin in general , but countries like India won't change their stance
there are many countries that explicitly banned bitcoin altogether , ten years is not some huge period of time , not much will change
for bitcoin to start to be accepted globally it has to be regulated and centralized , it is not going to happen , unless they invent some sort of an energy equivalent of a dollar
therefore the amount of energy you spend to produce something , bitcoin for example is money of the future
but this is just daydreaming , the harsh capitalist reality we are living in says every country has its own interests and it is very hard for them to agree even on the smaller things

791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: June 22, 2019, 02:49:22 PM
There has been a lot of hype over the Libra coin for some days now. Although I don't have any sentiment about the coin but I don't really see the need for this too much hype associated with the coin.
HYIP occurs because too many large campaigns start to enter the cryptocurrency market and people want to earn big money

its not HYIP but hype Smiley these are too different things
and seems like Libra did create some shockwaves in the market
I can't explain the sudden 20% price raise in a matter of a week , there were no other major news
but they are going to get major flak from the financial institutions and I wonder if the project takes off at all
because it directly threatens dollar and the current bubble debt ridden system , less than bitcoin would since its just the same dollar but in an electronic form , but still
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEO of Bank of America: “We Want a Cashless Society” on: June 21, 2019, 10:30:08 PM
their idea of a cashless society is totally different of what we want
their idea is a form of an electronic prison where you can be wiped with a press of a button and controlled every single moment of your life
where all of your data , money etc. is in a database and you won't be able to buy or sell or get a job if you are not on it
or have a bad record , look at the chinese social ranking system , its the reality already
793  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Choose your lucky number 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: June 21, 2019, 08:09:03 PM

I think there's no option with that, we can't adjust the fee when we are going to cash out our fund. We all know that Bitcoin transaction fee is so high especially when the market pumps up also the transaction fee will increase. I think the best option here is to convert your bitcoin to altcoins like Dogecoin or Ethereum those coins are having the lowest cost in fees. Because for me I really matter how the speed of the transactions going through.
Yes I am agreed with you. Really this is good Idea to reduce cash out fees from this exchange. I have also try this way to reduce the transection fee but feel some issue about the exchange rate. the withdrawal fee is = 20000 satoshi or below. But if you exchange to eth from btc you will not get the right amount in usd. please see this screenshot to easily understand.

The rate during typing on windice

And this is the rate on binance at the same time

Here I tried to exchange 0.010 btc to eth on windice and binance. In windice for 0.010 btc I will get 0.32 eth. but on binance I will get 0.32 eth by 0.00948 btc. So the different on both exchange about 50,000 satoshi. But the withdrawal fee is upto 20,000 satoshi. Grin Grin

Then How you will reduce your fee??

you don't really expect a gambling site to have the same rates as the exchanges that specialize in trading?
dice sites specialize in gambling , with an additional feature of being able to exchange your coins to a different one without athe need to send them elsewhere
the site charges 3-5% fee on top of the average exchange rate , you can check the rates
if you swap one bitcoin , it is not very wise to do so at any gambling site
but if you exchange 100-200k satoshi , you are way better off changing it  on the spot - you save on tx fees and time
794  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: June 21, 2019, 07:01:10 PM
-snip

Since Stake signature campaign is closed, I wonder how this will affect the number of gamblers on stake and total crypto spent there?
What do you think?

it won't affect anything  , since bitcointalk signature campaign was just one of the marketing tools Stake was using
the total amount of bitcointalk direct sign ups are around 50-60 per week ( stats from another campaign on average) thats not even sign ups , its the people who clicked the signature
sign ups are at least 5 times lower than that , so it wasn't the only source of the players influx
as for the crypto spent there , have a look at the five btc winning bet screens , doesn't affect too much , if you ask me
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra the new crypto king on: June 21, 2019, 06:38:41 PM
Libra has yet to be announced but already declared the cryptoking
it is waporware at the moment , but maybe , just maybe
one of the reasons of the glorious bull run we are experiencing now
if it comes to life and facilitates the transition from the conventional fiat banking to crypto based payments
I would say , Libra , you are welcome
on the other hand , this is going to be one centralized pseudo cryptocurrency to challenge and substitute bitcoin globally

Two more weeks till the end of this month, it means we have to wait maximum two more weeks to see Keno game on BitVest platform. I don't know your expectations on BitVest Keno, and how you wait for it, but for me two weeks will pass very fastly, and we eventually will know how BitVest Keno performs in reality. It might be launched sooner, because the team just announced Keno will be launch within this month.

I am very interested to see the product created. it is implemented quite professionally. If the team has announced, that it will happen this month, that will be the case))

it is always important to make sure that the game is free of bugs
sometimes it takes additional time to get rid of them when discovered and I prefer a longer wait to a product released that is not developed properly
keno is eagerly awaited, should be coming this week , unless something unexpected happens
797  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Choose your lucky number 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: June 20, 2019, 08:41:13 PM
The only thing I would wish to see implemented is a fee forecast so I could time my payouts a little bit.
Adjusting the fee so that it can be set to high/low priority?
Mostly, exchanges and casinos usually use suggested good fees enough to get acceptable waiting time for confirmations, so I don't think that payouts from casinos or exchanges require too long time to be confirmed. Usually, it takes around 30 minutes to 3 hours, in my experience. For windice.io's payouts, I have no issues with payouts from the site, because it fastly passed by the site, and then often confirmed within 'normal' waiting time. Personally, I don't think the site should implemend the manual fees setting for users. Because users might choose too low fees, that might cause their payouts stucked. Then, complaints, support tickets will increase. The site can set a fixed minimum fees, and allow users to set higher fees than minimum one to boost their payouts faster.

the users cannot choose the fee manually , not a single casino has this option (maybe c-games has the closest to this where you can drag the slider withing certain limits and pick the fee)
some of them give you 2-3 options as in 20-40-60k satoshi , for example
but the vast majority have a set fee , it is easier this way and the system , usually , picks the fastest option
there could be times where the mrket situation changes and the mempool gets overloaded and your normal 10k satoshi fee is no longer cutting it , it happens too but not very often
windice has set the upper limit for the feee , it is 20k satoshi now , if I'm not mistaken
the times I withdrew it was way less then that , think I paid under 10k
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Not Decentralized on: June 18, 2019, 10:00:53 PM
you understand decentralization wrong here , it is not about how many people have or hold bitcoin
it is that the network is distributed between many instances , called nodes
if the number of nodes decreases greatly and they are all controlled by the same group of individuals , then you can say that bitcoin is not decentralized
while I agree with the statement that whales can make the price go up or down , they have less and less impact and as the time passes and every coin becomes more valuable
even less of the impact , since to change the price even 500 $ in any direction requires thousands of coins sold
and what do you suggest? whales is the necessary "evil" , same as the rich
our society haven't invented any better form of rule as of yet , so you have to deal with it , besides 90% is an overstatement
I am sure bitcoin is spread very much evenly between the big holders and the miners/general public
