They're a French company, so it falls under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). However, the implementation may vary per member state. In my country a company could ask to provide evidence you are who you say you are before removing your data, and in practice that often comes down to sending them a copy of your legal ID.
That's usually not something you want to give to a company you don't trust with personal data.

That actually exists? And even if you comply, they might not even delete/ trash the documentation you give...

Well I think they legally have to comply if they're in the EU, but yeah, there's no guarantees the details you send them won't be leaked somehow either.

I'm surprised your data wasn't leaked but you still got the email; that could mean that ledger is playing it safe this time and sending that generic email to every user that ever bought from them, "just to be safe" (but again, speculating)

My email is on the marketing list. Surprised but also glad it isn't on the other one.

Everybody is talking about this Ledger leak on forum, on social media and on youtube Smiley
What do you think guys, what would Satoshi Nakamoto do? Would Satoshi buy Ledger wallet and used his real name and address when we know how important privacy was for him?
We are (not) all Satoshi  Grin

Well I'm sure he's bought stuff online before but it's irrelevant if you don't know what his name is. His real world details could be on that list for all we know. Or maybe he's a total ghost after creating bitcoin and doesn't do anything online that could compromise his identity. He could just live his life as normal though as he could just be a random unexciting Joe Bloggs to everyone that knows him.
782  Other / Meta / Re: My investigation on satoshi on: December 23, 2020, 12:38:01 PM
You did an amazing job. From the way he has talked about does indeed points to the fact of him being a British. I have a feeling that he, or they, the real Satoshi will one day just come out. I think if he's alive today, he would be the center of attention of the whole world, that alone enough is too dangerous to his own personal life and security. Plus, maybe, Satoshi used those British version of words to actually make people think he's British when he's not!? Satoshi is a legend and clever enough Wink

Why wouldn't he have done so already if this was the case? It was likely his intention from the start to never be known hence all the precautions, and maybe he purposely lost access to his coins out of fairness. I think if he did ever intend to reappear he would have done so already or already dipped into his funds. It must be very tempting for even the most un-materialistic person to spend some of that cash but maybe he doesn't have a choice if he doesn't have access to the funds (or is dead).

Btw the most curious thing is who are his siblings? (let's imagine it's a person and not a group). No one knows who is satoshi? Doesn't his mother know that she has so talented son? No one had doubts about how he was sending his time?

He might be an only child and his parents could be dead. Either way it doesn't seem like he cares for the plaudits or fame and fortune so I doubt he would care what his family think or that they don't know of his achievements. Maybe he's already very successful in other fields. It wouldn't be a surprise given the foresight he had to create bitcoin.

It just amazes me, to make a revolution in 21th century and stay anonymous, idk what to say. He deserves appreciation for only this fact alone.

It is impressive especially given all the scrutiny that his identity has been given over the years and aside from the hundreds if not thousands of amateur sleuths and investigations people have done, I'm sure there's been various governmental agencies looking into him as well, but at the same time most of us here are also anonymous. It's obviously easy to screw up as sometimes all it takes is one error or overlook (see Ross Ulbricht), but I don't think it would be that difficult if your intention from the start was to remain a ghost and that was something he was obviously very cautious of.
783  Other / Meta / Re: Why it's easier to hack BTT users account on: December 23, 2020, 11:55:53 AM
Well, you're mostly right and these sorts of measures should but available but they're largely not because a new forum software is in development that will have numerous security features including many of the things you suggested and various two-factor options etc: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=167.0

Losing access to e-mail does not mean losing your forum account at all ... Your most compelling argument when restoring your Bitcointalk account is PGP or Bitcoin signature. There is a special thread for such cases [Stake your Bitcoin address here] where you can publish a signed message that will be quoted and verified.

Well it does if that's your only option of restoring it. Most people probably don't have a PGP key or aren't aware of how to secure their account effectively does it need to be restored.
784  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk is being used as a backlink source on: December 23, 2020, 11:43:11 AM
Just keep reporting them. 99% of them get spotted and nuked very quickly. These sorts of bots are one of the reasons why it might be worth shadow-banning all new users though until their first post or so has been approved by a moderator.

They create fresh profiles for each comment and sell each comment for ranging from $6.95 to $9.95 depending on the package purchased. This, unfortunately, cannot be controlled and does very little or no harm to btctalk, I guess...

What do you think about this?

Good lord. Who pays that much for this? And I thought signature campaigns pay quite a bit per post. It's largely a waste because the vast majority of these links don't stay put. Not sure why someone would pay for that.

Doesn't google catch on to this sort of thing and take action? It's obviously pretty out in the open and easy to see when a company is utilising these spam services.
785  Other / Meta / Re: Ledger database leak --> Phishing on: December 22, 2020, 12:06:41 PM
But that e-mail address should only be visible to the admin/s and maybe to the mods if that rule applies when reporting post to moderator (although I think you once mentioned that this is not the case). Maybe you are referring to email addresses that have become publicly available in hacking our forum database back in 2015?

I don't think staff could ever see their emails contrary to what the message said (I could be wrong but I don't remember ever seeing them), but yeah I'm referring to the forum database leak. It would be very easy to match those emails to the ledger ones and you would then have someone's full dox. If you knew they were a member that likely had or does have a bit of money then they would probably be easy targets.

In addition to the fact that many people were scared by the pandemic in 2020, Ledger owners today also fear for their lives due to their data leaks. People start to fear for their families.
I think those who have accumulated a beautiful amount will be worried. But the scammers themselves will likely spend a lot of effort to find out more accurate information, and this also takes time. Therefore, you should not panic. There is a time for a cold mind and thinking about your next actions.
This once again reminded everyone to take care of their privacy. But everyone also understands that there was the fact that everyone trusted this device, and like when opening a bank card, users entered their exact data. Today news came out that Ledger will not reimburse the costs of users whose data has been opened.

https://decrypt.co/52215/ledger-wont-reimburse-users-after-major-data-hack

It's obvious they wouldn't refund people just like most banks won't if you personally were responsible for sending the funds yourself. Doing so would also just open them up to massive fraud as people could just send funds to another address and claim they were hacked and there's no way to verify fake from real there. At the end of the day people are still responsible for the own money even with this hack and people probably shouldn't be falling for phishing attacks like this.
786  Other / Meta / Re: Ledger database leak --> Phishing on: December 22, 2020, 11:11:33 AM

Same thing happened to me, but I managed to view it in the end. My details aren't on there thankfully, but I got emails from Ledger saying my details were included. Not sure what's going on.

fortunately you seem not to be on 'full data' list (name+add etc...). A second db provides tons of mails that were linked to ledger in another way (mostly newsletter).

Yeah, maybe, but I have ordered from them before so not sure why they would only have my email.

Yeah. A lot of people from this forum could be exposed if they used the same email address they used to sign up to the forum. I wonder if any real world robberies will be attempted because of this?

Reportedly, there are some users on Reddit who have received personal threats and ransom emails based on the personal information exposed. A very disturbing thought.

Lots of reports on Reddit of people receiving ransom emails with their real name and address, and demanding payment to not be physically attacked. Horrendous.
[snip]

As nasty as that is I think most of them will just be hollow threats hoping they can spook you into paying them. It's like the spam blackmail emails you get asking for payment to not release the webcam 'footage' they apparently have on you. Obviously there is no footage but they're hoping people will be worried enough and just cough up the money. I would advise anyone getting any of these sorts of emails to just ignore them. Maybe change your phone number or just block the numbers if they're getting nuiscans calls and texts but these attacks will probably die down quite quickly. Your data will always be out there now though so might be best getting a new number and email if you're worried.

Hopefully this is a warning/wake up call for everyone that your data is never truly safe with any third party and to take extras safety measures to prevent your details in case they are ever leaked like this.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 22, 2020, 10:52:33 AM
I think that it will be difficult for bigdaddy user here in the pool to lose the yellow cap for this round with only two games to go so I am congratulating him in advance. As for me I am happy with 9 points so far as these two last weeks have brought me to 23rd place as of yet while just two weeks ago I was lying near the end in 42nd place.

Well bigdaddy won it but only by half a point. Got zero points from those two games. Had Burnley to draw 1-1 with Wolves but they went and got the winner in the last minute. Also went for a 1-1 draw on the Chelsea game and it was 1-0 right up until the 78th minute and was hoping West Ham would manage to equalise but Chelsea scored and then got another within two minutes.

There's no games until boxing day now but there's a load over the holiday season and new year so make sure you don't miss them as they cram them all in and I think teams will be playing three games within a week. No doubt Klopp will be crying about that.
788  Other / Meta / Re: WTF? Why was this deleted? on: December 22, 2020, 10:40:32 AM
Well, I'm beginning to think that someone is picking on me.

I remember a post similar to this one, opened by a member who participated in the same campaign as me, bitvest.io, and who complained that many of his posts had been deleted. He got angry and eventually left the campaign.

I just found two more deleted messages.

It's probably not personal. Sometimes people maliciously use the system to report on users they don't like, but there's a lot more people who just come across a post they perceive to be low quality then go through that users post history reporting any more posts they see so this sometimes leads to individuals feeling like they're being targeted, especially when a lot of posts get removed at once. The user who is reporting you is one that tends to go on a lot of reporting sprees on unsubstantial posters so it's probably not a personal attack. The only thing I can suggest is to put a bit more thought ands effort into your posts to make the chance of this happening less likely.
789  Other / Meta / Re: Ledger database leak --> Phishing on: December 22, 2020, 10:34:29 AM
I could see the data and I'm happy that my personal details are not in the documents leaked. Maybe because I bought the Ledger a few years back? My email is there but I already knew that. Also, I don't hold a lot of bitcoin but I would feel uneasy if I knew my full name and address had been leaked.

It probably depends on whether you asked them to store your details or not. The hack happened in June 2020, and they said 1 million email addresses were leaked but only 10k users personal details were included (addresses, phone numbers etc).

Just use link from GitHub posted by xoso, click on Ledger.rar -> Go to file -> Click on View Raw and there you can search in buyer txt file or All emails file inside your browser by using CTRL+F.
Do you mean that you can view the contents of the file without actually downloading and extracting it on your computer? I couldn't do it the first time. When I clicked on 'View Raw' it said that the file is too big and automatically initiates a download. I don't feel like downloading something from a user I don't know. Now it also seems that xoso's post got deleted.

Same thing happened to me, but I managed to view it in the end. My details aren't on there thankfully, but I got emails from Ledger saying my details were included. Not sure what's going on.

Luckily I am not among those with personal details leaked, and I am sure it isn't fun at all seeing your name, address and even phone number. My email is leaked though, but no spam as of yet.

Yeah. A lot of people from this forum could be exposed if they used the same email address they used to sign up to the forum. I wonder if any real world robberies will be attempted because of this? It's really not a nice thought to think that nefarious individuals will have your address and phone number and know that you're involved in bitcoin in some capacity. I guess it would be hard to target idividuals because you don't know whether they have 1 dollar in bitcoin or millions.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 21, 2020, 11:57:54 AM
I didn't expect the thrashings Liverpool gave and Leeds received. I went for a mere 1-0 victory to Liverpool and a 2-2 draw with Man U and Leeds but maybe that was wishful thinking. Leeds didn't play that bad really and had most of the possesion but their defence is just so leaky and Man U were just breezing past them. I narrowly missed out on £250 from a free £5 bet as I had both teams to score in each half, two cards each and 2 corners in each half and the only thing that let me down was the cards as only Man United got one. There's usually a fair few in these sorts of rivalries but maybe the fans not being there didn't fire them up enough.

I think I could be set to get the wooden spoon  Grin
Absolutely terrible match week for me so far, I have 1 point atm Cheesy:D

At least Liverpool are doing well otherwise I might be slightly annoyed at my incompetence Cheesy

These last two games are hard to call as well. I might have to go with draws but Chelsea should be able to beat West Ham but they've lost their last two matches and West Ham have drawn and one their last two so I don't really have confidence in them.

Well, Tottenham with 2 losses in a row, I wonder what's Mourinho going to say today.

I wonder if he told Brendan Rodgers that the better team lost that day  Grin.
791  Other / Meta / Re: My investigation on satoshi on: December 21, 2020, 11:44:47 AM
A deliberate effort to obscure their identity.  Maybe they changed the settings on their spellchecker so they didn't have to make a conscious effort to remember to change all the spellings manually each time they posted.
Do you think that more than one person posted from the satoshi account?

Whilst I'm not doubting satoshi wasn't British, I think he would be smart enough to cover his tracks this way and changing your spelling would be the easiest thing to do.
If he is British, he didn't cover his tracks. Most of the examples were written according to the British way of spelling.

I'm saying he would have been smart enough to make out like he was British if he wanted to, so therefore him appearing to be British doesn't mean he is. If I wanted to pass myself off as an American here on an alt account I'm sure I would be able to remember to spell colour as color and use Zs etc. The 'bloody' thing is pretty well known to be a British trait and is often mocked by Americans. I've seen variants of "bloody hell want some tea and crumpets mate" various times online.

Also, Satoshi saying 'block chain' may have been corrected by spellchecker.
I am not sure of that. I think he would have noticed that at some point and gone back to edit his post. There is also the case with 'inpoints' and 'outpoints'. I think a spellchecker would have corrected this. Never heard of an inpoint before.

I'm sure most spellcheckers would have autocorrected blockchain to block chain back then. It seems he made one mistake at least:

Quote
Behind it all was this anonymous figurehead, Nakamoto. But who the hell was he? The bigger bitcoin grew, the more people wanted to know. He has a Japanese name, a German email address and writes in almost impeccable British English. In the 80,000 words (more than a book’s worth) he wrote online as bitcoin was developed, I found just one spelling mistake (ideological was spelt “idealogical”).

792  Other / Meta / Re: Ledger database leak --> Phishing on: December 21, 2020, 11:29:50 AM
I'm posting here again because there is something new and unfortunately the phishing and other scams attempts are not about to stop since someone has made the stolen database available for free on 'raidforums'.

https://twitter.com/JimmyMcShill/status/1340733120610447365

Ledger confirmed  Roll Eyes

https://twitter.com/Ledger/status/1340769565639233536

It's always only a matter of time before these things go public. The data gets cheaper and cheaper as people resell it on to as many people as they can until it practically becomes worthless or worth very little and finally some cunt just releases it for free. It seems it's behind some sort of a paywall though (if you can call it that) but for only 8 of their forum credits which can either be purchased for less than 8 euros or even earned for free there (I guess they have a similar sort of merit system there as to here where you can reward posts and data leaks etc).

Does anyone know if there's a way to search what data has been released from ledger? It seems that some people only had their emails leaked whilst others had their full addresses and phone numbers. I wonder if there'll be lawsuits over this?

We can now expect new phishing campaigns by various individuals and hacking groups. The first series of attacks were well-composed and looked pretty good compared to the usual phishing spam by partially illiterate rejects. Now everyone can get access to the database, if in fact it is the real database and not something malware infected.

I've had a couple of half-assed attempts already the past couple of days.
793  Other / Meta / Re: My investigation on satoshi on: December 21, 2020, 11:00:08 AM
Most european countries teach British english to people wanting to learn english (or forced to do so). I've always been taught Brit; but as I have later been "exposed" to tons of audiovisual content on AME; you end up mixing both. Considering satoshi posted 10 years ago, and that watching TV shows on the internet was not really a thing, I don't think it's some "definitive" or linking proof. I'm talking about europe because it's what I know, if anyone from Asia or Africa could bring their input on the matter, I think we'd have similar answers.

Well it should be taught correctly. I don't know why someone would teach people the American version since it's only used there, unless the job or industry someone is going into is US-based.

Of course, it could all be misdirection.  A deliberate effort to obscure their identity.  Maybe they changed the settings on their spellchecker so they didn't have to make a conscious effort to remember to change all the spellings manually each time they posted.

This. Whilst I'm not doubting satoshi wasn't British, I think he would be smart enough to cover his tracks this way and changing your spelling would be the easiest thing to do. If satoshi took extreme precautions from the start to remain anonymous and has probably done so to this day it isn't that remarkable that he would so such a thing. Also, Satoshi saying 'block chain' may have been corrected by spellchecker.
794  Other / Meta / Re: Reporter Statistics on: December 18, 2020, 12:03:15 PM
I've fallen so far behind with my reporting, what with this pesky global pandemic that's going on.

Surely that gives most people more time to spend on this forum and report ? Grin It would be interesting if theymos could post some traffic stats for this year compared to others. With half the people seemingly working from home that must have had a boost to traffic and then add into the mix the new all time high it must have drove traffic up considerably.

I was looking at the forum stats but it seems that the most users online was 7150 in April 10, 2013. That can't be right, can it? I'm sure there was more than that during the all time high a few years ago where I thought usage peaked. I wonder if that's still accurate? Surely it was much later than 2013, especially during the ICO and sig campaign hype? I seem to recall it being over 10k but I could be wrong.

795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev - JOSHUA WINS IN ROUND 9 on: December 18, 2020, 11:57:33 AM
I think boxing media thinks that Joshua will just steam roll on Pulev and the fight shouldn't last for 9 rounds before that knockout. He had him in round 4 on the canvass already if I'm not mistaken and it took another 5 more rounds to finish him.

So that's why he didn't get the praise that he was supposed to get in this fight. They think that Joshua is now playing safe and not aggressive enough to go for an early knock down.

Pulev's performance was disappointing, but he wasn't that bad to give a 4th round knockout victory to Anthony Joshua. AJ had to work hard for his win, and it was not a cakewalk. The outcome was more or less certain, as the odds were heavily favoring Joshua. But the next match against Fury will be different, and there he will be the underdog. On top of that Fury is in top form right now.

Pulev is a lot older than AJ and pushing 40. He's on his way out as a boxer but I think he did pretty well to survive as long as he did. I don't think Fury will beat AJ as easily as you lot seem to be making out. That was AJs first fight in a long time and Fury will have been out of action for a while as well before he gets to face AJ, assuming he also doesn't have a tune up fight in the meantime which might actually happen as he will probably have a mandatory soon (or Wilder will get his trilogy fight which is a still a string possibility).

Eddie Hearn said recently that all four belts may be dropped to get the fight done which is silly to me. Surely a big draw of this fight is that all the belts will be on the line. Take them away and it's just a fight between two boxers really.

Quote
Promoter Eddie Hearn says Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury may consider dropping all four world title belts to ensure their potential fight happens.

The all-British heavyweight showdown would be the first fight in history in which all four heavyweight titles are on the line.

Fury, 32, is WBC champion while Joshua, 31, holds the IBF, WBA and WBO belts.

"We have a fight on our hands, and sorry to the governing bodies, that eclipses all belts," Hearn said.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/55342704

AJ won't be fighting anyone for a while anyway so I think Fury should just take the trilogy fight, secure the biggest bag of his career then he can move on to the AJ fights. No point dragging it out in arbitration which could go on a very long time when Fury can put an end to it and everyone can move on.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 18, 2020, 11:12:24 AM
I'm not sure who got the yellow cap this week. Both are tied yet it's showing both conradicals and swogerino has the yellow cap on the leader board but not on the weekly round results.

Conradicals should has the yellow cap. In case of tie , it will be based on higher win points so in this case it will be conradicals with 6 because swogerino only has 5 so conradicals wins this round

Quote
Tie-breaking

In the event of points ties on a pool leaderboard, position is allocated on the basis of higher WP total, then higher MP total, then lower TDM. If scores are still tied after these criteria are applied, the players are adjudged to be tied. TDM is Total Distance from Margin: the sum of the differences between a player's margin predictions and the actual margins.

I thought it went by most correct scores first. That would make more sense to me perosnally.

I think that is Conradicals for this week so congrats to him. However my opinion on this since the Yellow Cap is awarded each week in case of a tie most exact scores for the round should be considered first as these are the most difficult results to find.

Yeah, I agree. I thought that was how it actually was. Should go by exact scores, then close results, then results.

I don't recall seeing Conradicals in that space before, what a nice way to jump into top 5, well done! 13 points for yellow cap, that's just a bit better than 2 weeks ago was 12.5 points for yellow cap or something.

Well he's up 13 places this round. I also moved up 13. Hopefully people don't get disheartend if they're at the bottom of the table because it can be turned round quite quickly. Didn't mole move up 25 places last week?

Wow, what a disaster round for me. I only got 1 point for those games. And because of that, I got the wooden spoon.  Roll Eyes I think this is my worst round so far.

I proudly share my results for Round 13. Lo and behold.

 Grin. We all get them.

I think that is Conradicals for this week so congrats to him. However my opinion on this since the Yellow Cap is awarded each week in case of a tie most exact scores for the round should be considered first as these are the most difficult results to find.
Why complicate things? Superbru has its own algorithm and it will always supply a yellow cap winner and wooden spoon to us. We just wait until they are awarded and that is it. You can read those rules on who will be placed first in case of the tie on their site.

Here is a quote of the important stuff related to tie breaking:
Quote
Tie-breaking

If players have the same score total, rank is determined by the higher number of correct match outcomes predicted (right winner or draw regardless of score), then higher number of exact scores, higher number of close scores and finally lower total closeness. Note that it's not your total exact or close points that counts, it is how many instances of exact or close picks you have: so an exact counts as 1, not 3. Players still matching are tied for rank.

I thought he was just saying that's how it should be, not that's how we should award it here, but just to clarify I won't change it from what superbru use even though I agree that they should do it differently. It'll probably be fairly rare that users get ties anyway.
797  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: make external links bright red on: December 18, 2020, 11:02:13 AM
I've suggested before that all external links take you to a landing page first as a security measure with a warning to double check the url or something before you leave the site. That would give a buffer or a barrier against phishing links etc.
This. If only theymos agrees, IIRC steam implemented such this when accessing external links on the platform.

[Edit] Found it. Same like this

Lots of websites and forums have them. Think even youtube does now as well. I've almost clicked on a couple of nasty links before and at least this would be an extra precaution. Some of the urls can be very sneaky.

Oh I love the idea, especially since it's a small change that could make a huge difference.

I personally am annoyed by those, but it would probably be more effective than the color change. Presumably also much more implementation effort though. However if added it would be great if it were possible to turn this landing page off.

Well yeah, I think I suggested elsewhere that it should be able to be turned off/on as some people obviously won't want it or it will be annoying.
798  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: make external links bright red on: December 17, 2020, 10:23:03 PM
I thought that maybe remove the option to hide the hyperlinks for the Newbies and Brand New accounts and just keep the whole url so nobody get fooled. I like LoyceV's suggestion more but this issue was discussed a few times before but again no changes has ever made, so I hope theymos sees the need for that particular change.

It wouldn't stop all the recently hacked accounts though as I'd say half of them are Junior and above.

It seems like a very small change that makes the difference very clear.

It's a small coding change, but with larger consequences.

This forum should not do anything that gives off the impression it's trying to protect newbies from scams, when the scams are not moderated.

The forum has several measures to try protect users from being scammed (especially newer ones), but I don't think highlighting external links is a big deal either way. I've suggested before that all external links take you to a landing page first as a security measure with a warning to double check the url or something before you leave the site. That would give a buffer or a barrier against phishing links etc.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 17, 2020, 10:17:45 PM

Initially there were more clubs, but because of new restrictions, mainly in London there is only 4 clubs left.
And I don't think that having fans in stadiums now can be called as unfair advantage.
And despite that only 2000 fans allowed, it already makes difference. Especially in small stadiums like Fulham or where all fans were in same stand like in Anfield. Even 2000 fans is better than artificial sounds from FIFA.

Why wouldn't it be an advantage? It's certainly not going to be a disadvantage. They shouldn't have allowed them back unless everyone can have them as it's only going to be a positive for the home team if anything.

I'm not sure who got the yellow cap this week. Both are tied yet it's showing both conradicals and swogerino has the yellow cap on the leader board but not on the weekly round results:

Unless maybe it's cut off for conradicals. I thought they gave it to the person who had the most exact scores or something, which seems to be swogerino, though conradicals is officially top on the round results.

Looks like a few using some kind of scripts or bots for reporting !

There is just a little grow on my reports  " You have reported 18986 posts with 100% accuracy (18882 good, 41 bad, 63 unhandled)."
And all the reports or the most i have done since my last update was Fake ANNs and Malware reports , nearly 600 of them.
My reports are done like Old School , every report was done from hand clicking the report Button.

But it makes no difference , i keep reporting !

Some people do use bots for reporting, but it's probably not a very good idea if you're worried about a perfect score as false positives will happen. Some people probably have scripts that makes things easier/more streamlined as well. Maybe you don't report as much as you used to because you worried about tarnishing the perfect 100%? I'm sure that comes into factor when reporting as that's not something that is easy to achieve.

I remember that theymos mentioned in the past that he might offer some special icons to the best reporters, but it seems that idea became obsolete during time... But at least some statistics would be nice Smiley

Yes, there were such conversations. Only then did theymos say that they didn't want the garland of icons in the profile on the left. Therefore, I think there will never be icons, although the idea is good.

A badge for high reporters isn't exactly much. I think it should come with a few privileges as well as it's mostly a thankless task reporting. Very high reporters at least used to be rewarded with being a mod after a while but that seems to happen les frequently these days. I think a few people have probably earned a spot as a patroller at least. It would be nice if theymos could updated the statistics as a lot of people have been wanting the updated table for years.
