Maybe I am seeing things which arent there, which renders me biased, shilling krill. It's hard to speculate on the current situation. When BTC moves a lot, the analysis are directly impacted. On the other side, as Waves is young, some expected great news could push the price higher easily. The correction may continue from here because we stayed for long in a overbought period. I don't think the correction will be harsh, but if we break below 180k we can expect a slow downtrend until 150k, maybe 130k. That's the bearish scenario. I think we are on a short term bearish period. But I'm doubting... If we don't break soon below 180k, I will think it's bullish. And which great news we can expect from Waves? I mean the next step on roadmap that we will see soon (any relaese, upgrade, partnership or something) I think the biggest next new is the new UI release. But idk to be honest. Some partnerships and new gateway are maybe coming ? |

From the medium article: For simplification purposes the Betanet uses SHA256 as Proof-of-Work algorithm. The project look interesting, but with a sha256 mining algo, you won't mine for long in the browser. edit: looks like it won't be sha256 for the mainnet |

You must check the token's asset ID. The asset ID appear on the DEX search bars, you also can have it by checking the asset's details. |

tant mieux, ceux qui n'y comprennent rien ... font tourner les fondements (le réseau). alors que les autres, ils font tourner la planche à billets ... avec une belle échelle log utilisable d'ailleurs.  mais ne t'en fait, je suis peut-être le seul dans le forum à avoir eu, dans ma vie, besoin d'utiliser une feuille de papier à échelle log. pour représenter une valeur physique d'après un nuage de points relevés à la microseconde sur une période en milliseconde. De toute façon il n'y a pas vraiment lieu d'avoir débat sur ce point. Les scale linéaire & log ont tous 2 leurs utilités. Pour ceux qui ne connaissant pas la differance c'est que sur du linéaire ont à la même distance d'affichage pour une augmentation de 5e à 10e et de 20e à 25e. Hi, Anybody here could tell me how to send token and pay the transaction fee in that token. I read in one of the article that you could do that. https://medium.com/@cassiuscrypto/token-mining-and-waves-fees-8c6d64dd9f88I'm using the waves lite wallet and I didn't see any choice in the fee field. Its the token with green tick on the side of the name (I'm assuming that this token is recognise by waves platform) like MRT, Mercury Thanks. This feature isn't available yet, atm you can only pay the TX fee in Waves. |

what if a leasing pool goes offline indefinetely? I am leasing now, but will I be able to cancel a lease if say I join for example (fictitious name) "Reliable Bobs" leasing pool, and the owner of the leasing pool
shuts off his servers forever without notice... can I still cancel my lease?
Yup. With more explanation: yes, because leasing your coins mean that they are still in your wallet. If you're leasing on a non active address, your coins just won't mine but remain on your control. |

Cannot see it happening, as Waves indirect competition for them Supposing Waves is in a competition with Polo, I would add the coin on the exchange to get a part of that market and prevent peoples from leaving and using the DEX. Adopt the enemy, they should. |

To be fair, Bitshares 2.0 is fast, very fast. I recently made an account there but had to watch a few Youtube videos to get started. It is very complicated. But there is a faucet to pay the fees for a newly created account
The referral program and layout are confusing. It has too much. The website doesn't fit my laptop screen and many times the page froze on me. Both openledger and bitshares. It's a shame that Dan left the project before seeing it take off.
1. it takes 2 clicks to create an account, must be really hard 2. you don't need to find any faucet at all 3. you can pay tx fees in any currency traded on the dex 4. it's almost 10x faster than waves 5. it's decentralized while waves is centralized so easy to take down waves order matching 6. the layout is identical to poloniex so maybe you didn't want to use a dex 7. it looks and works exactly like every top quality exchange while waves looks like someone's first hello world app with unusable exchange. 8. "It has too much." is not criticism 9. Decentralized governance/funding platform inside over centralized waves funding 10. I have waves. I am just disappoint it has no new features, but hard to outperform perfection I suppose. Don't let a small exchange pump on zero tech get to your head, have to be pushing for better features, not just wasting all ico funding on ads. Waves is decentralized. I don't get your points. |

I admit that I fell over laughing at the BitShares guy; really, you want to compare Waves to BitShares? He might be right that BitShares has had more time, but look at where Waves already is with less time. Waves is an interesting crowdfunding platform and it will be fun to watch how it evolves in time. Also, once glance at the history of bitUSD and bitGold and their "pegged assets" are absolute joke. Kind of like Steem Dollars; can't seem to actually be $1! Waves is now featured on what cryptocurrencies pay a dividend. And yet they they always return to $1 or w/e in trust-less manner because it's based on smart contract, unlike typical centralized assets like tether on centralized exchanges like waves. There's zero technical reasons to ever use waves over bitshares for any reason in any context. The only reason it's going up is pump team is good, no way to short it on bittrex, and instead of focusing on tech you focus on putting ads everywhere. I never used Bitshares because it's too complicated, and too slow. I tried, and left. No doubt that the dev team did a great work over the past years. But Bitshares won't reach the average joe. Waves has more chance to do it because it's just easy and fast for anyone. Sorry to say that guys, but Bitshares was a prototype, Waves is the new precursor. |

Mais bon, comme tout ce qui monte descend et inversement ... ça marche toujours en général. Surtout quand on ne cheat pas à l'imprimante à billets. N'importe quoi. & N'importe quoi. Probably you know about upcoming WAVES platform, coinomat assets will be transferred to it once it's live and asset functionality is up. Also there will be some kind of burn protocol that will allow to transfer any NXT asset, and most probably assets from other platforms too. All coinomat assets will be actively developed and will have an important role in the WAVES ecosystem.
Coinomat project will have an important role for waves, basically it's going to be what shapeshifter is for ETH now - the way to buy WAVES fast. It will be integrated right into the WAVES clients. Coinomat project will be substantially upgraded after the WAVES ICO, we need to fight Shapeshift for the niche we invented - namely instant crypto exchange. A financial licensed will be obtained, and coinomat assets should become valuable after that.
Cryptofund asset will be transformed into the Waves foundation asset. Waves foundation will be a kind of a decentralized venture fund, investing in the projects launched on WAVES blockchain. Waves asset will be the first asset launched on the new WAVES chain.
Index/IndexRev assets will be the foundation of a properly registered index mutual fund, investing algorithmically in cryptocurrency portfolios. Nothing of the kind exists at the moment, but it's high time to start this fund. The procedure of the fund registration will start in June.
NEXT/NEXTBOND will be a major trading fund using different approaches to cryptocurrencies trading. When WAVES network is up I really wanna try to pursue deep learning algos applied to cryptocurrency trading, I believe this might be huge.
Coinomat assets represent projects with a future and potential, this is just a humble beginning, all cool stuff is still ahead.

Exchanges have only accepted mgo token thru ethereum bittrex/liqui so far so if you use these exchanges strongly suggest ethereum mgo token over waves, waves mgo token should be available thru waves dex right away though.
This. I would keep wy MGO on Waves as I can trade on the DEX as soon as they are in my wallet. I'm also trying to trade on the DEX to keep my coins safe. |
