7841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel my unconfirmed transactions, bounty on: May 18, 2017, 10:53:54 AM
yes I sent money to participate in ICO. But now it is over  Grin
Just contact the developer team in ICO you participating, just giving them the Tx Id

They will sent back the Bitcoin to you, What ICO you participating?
This is only the best possible solution as of now because we do know btc transactions cant be reversed and theres only one way on where those bitcoins will go but only to the Developer teams wallet of a particular ICO. I think no one could able to help you regarding on this matter but only yourself. Just tell them that they should send it back since the ICO is already over.
7842  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Insanely high miner fees on: May 17, 2017, 06:57:36 PM
Wooow  so big fee omg now I know that I dont need to do some retarded small transactions because later it will cost me more then I earned with that transactions.
There are no dumb people would make such micro transaction which the fee is high because it will surely compromise the profit on that certain transaction specially when you do have online deals with other people and stuff. Its better to wait for those amount to be piled up and send it on bulk amounts so that you wont really feel too much the high fee when you do tend to send the amount on other wallet.
7843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: May 17, 2017, 06:37:57 PM
Currently, fees are very high. And it is making Bitcoin useless for everyday spending as a form of payment (grocery store, coffee shop, etc).

At least in my country, paying over $1 as transaction fee for a coffee or other common small spending is very high. I was avoiding Paypal to get my money from a website because they're charging over $1 for fee... But now Paypal is becoming a better alternative for the moment.

But the fees are still great if you need to buy a luxurious car or a yacht.
Lets not exaggerate, you make it seem as if bitcoin now can only be used by the ultra rich, bitcoin cannot be used any longer for very small transactions but if you make a transaction of a few tens or hundreds of dollars then the fee is fair.
It would really hurt you when you do make small amounts of transactions but when you do make transfer for big amounts then fees wont really bother at all and it all depends on person preference if fees would affect too much for him but for me fees are just enough on those transaction we do made.It may go high because of the demand of bitcoin.
7844  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New design needed for a new era! on: May 17, 2017, 04:22:29 PM
Are you planning to charge people for your services? Also, what are your rates? Do you take bitcoin payments or how does it work? Sorry for so many questions, Im just looking for more information about this.

Yes, I'd take bitcoin payments, or shares in other coins that I see potential.

Since I am new around here - not very convenient to post my full working portfolio - I'd start with very reasonable rates. Yesterday had my first customer for a logo and charged him $10 in btc despite making multiple versions and changes.

I believe I am most qualified in branding, which is something most coins lack and I'd love to put my work into it.

I would like to suggest better to put up your portfolio so that public would able to see regarding on your past projects or works. If your most qualified on branding then you should be confident on announcing it to public.lol. You rates are somehow decent compared to others and accepting altcoin on some projects is also a good payment option.
7845  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain info wallet transaction time on: May 17, 2017, 03:57:18 PM
Hello,
i'm new to bitcoin overall but decided i will invest in it.Bought like 2,3 btc and im usuing blockchain.info wallet. What's the average time per transaction fee ? I had no problems when sending my 1btc to Poloniex in the past. Now i've sent 2 btc to Poloniex wallet , 2 days later i don't even have 1 transfer confirmation and im starting to getting worried. Is that normal thing for blockchain info wallet or bitcoin network ?I checked the Poloniex's bitcoin address to see if i typed wrong address, but it's the same.
My transaction fees are like 0.70-0.75 cents and im waiting so long its getting boring and annoying..

Any suggestions ?  Embarrassed

Not to worry its just on blockchain network which your transfer haven't been confirmed yet and comparing transactions in the past into now they do really differ at all in terms of confirmation times because it is already mainly depending on how high the fees we do pay on a certain transactions. The higher the faster it confirms and seeing on the fee you put up it would really takes time for sure for it to be confirmed on your poloniex account.
7846  Economy / Securities / Re: Has anyone tried crowdfunding real estate? on: May 17, 2017, 03:16:48 PM
The idea is obvious: raise funds in an ICO and use them in a property buy-to-rent scheme, sharing the profit from rent using the rent money to buy back the crypto asset. Then ultimately reselling the property on the market if majority of investors votes so, and buying back the remaining coins.
The obvious problem is the trust issue: legally the property belongs to the coin issuer, (s)he could just run away with the money. But that would be the risk associated with any kind of crowdfunding, wouldn't it ?
Has anyone tried doing it? How did it go? What are the potential or real issues?
There are some quiet similar post regarding on crowdfunding for real estate business but I think they do all failed or didn't tend to continue their plans because of lacking interest on the public or possible investors.Yes, trust would really be the main issue and as you mentioned there would really be chaos on where those properties would be named. There are lots of factors need to be arranged on this kind of stuff.

But as we see OP is currently using an newbie account and we can't truly determine by that if he is legit or not and our money will be on hazard if we trust it immediately without knowing on what is in the back of his head. But actually this idea is good but the problem here is people see some various type of scamming modus here and surely he would struggle to find those decent investor that can help here project.
I got your point because posting it on a newbie account will make the things more difficult for him because possible investors would really think twice first before they will put up money because they cant easily trust a newbie account announcing about real estate business with crypto. Project plan is really ideal and really be profitable but searching for partners on here would be really hard in my view.
7847  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would you do if Bitcoin price crashes? on: May 17, 2017, 02:42:33 PM
What would you do if Bitcoin price crashes? Below $200, would you hold on to the Bitcoins you are having..or sell them?
Saying for bitcoins price to crash like that low seems really impossible as of now but possibilities might happen anytime and if that thing makes reality then most people will panic sell when the price is still dipping because they do secure first their capital or just cutting their loses and believing that bitcoin would go die because its really an unusual thing to think that price will go back on that point. If that's the case then bitcoin will have the big chance to dump forever and people will switch into other one.

7849  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo to stop paying miner fee on: May 16, 2017, 06:50:34 PM
Got this message from XAPO:

Quote
Xapo will discontinue paying network transaction fees for outgoing transactions.
In the next couple of days, all Xapo users will begin to pay the miners fee themselves in order to send transactions out of Xapo.

This is truly so sad that even now Xapo has stopped paying tx fee for users. Earlier coinbase too stopped and hence from now on, the transactions would be so expensive to send with the increasing bitcoin rates. The minimum fee is about $0.4 now and for bigger transactions, it would cost $1-$2 for every transaction  Huh

Just as expected and it already happens when I told in the past that xapo will surely stopped on paying tx fee for its users and now they are all the same on mot wallets either on exchange or plain online wallets. They are now asking for transactions fees and its really normal in my own view because they cant really patched up to pay up all the tx fee on their own pocket because it would really affect their own profit.Sad to know but we should accept and tx fee as of now is really high.

7851  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: May 16, 2017, 03:02:58 PM
For me the right moment for buying and selling of bitcoin is when ever money is ready to be spent because if you buy now at high price you can still make a reasonable profit by selling some btc at a premium as long as prices do not drop extremely low what you initially bought them.

to buy bitcoin is now the more risk of losing  and better to produce bitcoin than buy it maybe. if you buy now do not easily panic if there is a price reduction then better to hold it because the price of bitcoin will return to peak even exceed the previous price.
lets not only look at the risk factor here, there is a chance of missing the boat bringing in good profit for. If you wanted to buy 5 btc why not buy half to partially absorb any unforeseen loss

It's not about the number of coins you want to buy. The main thing is how much you are going to keep them. If coins are for long-term investment, then they can be bought now. And for a short period - probably not the best time to buy
I think this is not the right to time to buy the price is high. but today I got a good offer from my local exchange site they offered 20% more profit to preset price, so I sold my coins. The price was really nice it around $1950 for 1 BTC. To get this price, I think I have to wait for a couple of weeks. So I sold my bitcoins.

well I think you should've just held on dude. the price of btc may soar well beyond that in a matter of weeks also. there's a reason why they're willing to buy your btcs at that high price at this time.
People who do buy on the current high price do really have high hopes on bitcoin price increase later on because they don't really bother to purchase or buy inspite of its high price but well its somehow scary to put up too much on it because price crash could happen anytime which means that's really a big lose for us specially when we put up big money.
7852  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are altcoin price movements have some mathematical explanation? on: May 16, 2017, 02:18:53 PM
Crypto market is completely different than usual forex market, those technical analysis may not be completely true in case of altcoin trading like in forex but it might help you to some extend. Hypes and Fuds have much larger effect on altcoin market.
This is really correct, technical analysis wont really matter on crypto trading because its different for forex trading. There are some things on crypto that cannot be determined on any technical tools which we do commonly used on forex it might work sometimes but I strongly believe they wont really be needed at all but still a good choice as using it as a tool specially on making some trendlines but for Fibonacci and other stuffs would be useless at all, honestly speaking.
7853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: May 16, 2017, 01:49:29 PM
If you are an active type of person which do actively make bitcoin transactions now and then you will surely feel the pain on making some transfers because fees will really hurt up your pocket but if you do make transfer on few times high tx fee wont hurt too much and shouldn't really be bother and saying bitcoin is useless. If you don't like to spend more fee then better not to make transaction at all.
7854  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Let's Create a Virtual Country on: May 16, 2017, 12:35:23 PM
Cool and Good idea but the main concern here is the interest of people because in order to make this project funds would really be mainly needed because creating a virtual country or even city would really cost you to start up and you will really need lots of users acts as citizens on it but thinking off why we would do select to engage on this project since we are already on a new digital currency system? Even though its still not considered but we already making a step.
7855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump ninja technique, how to maximize the earnings on: May 14, 2017, 11:15:56 AM
pump and dump ninja would really be hard and mostly this method or trading behavior would be mostly be fitted on scalper type kind of traders this might would work also  for long traders but knowing about on when buy and sell would be the hardest thing because no one knows what would be the peak of a certain coin.
7856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 14, 2017, 10:06:46 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
Bitcoin is already been announce in the T.v but on a negative way on which media do give bad impression on bitcoin instead of its usage and benefits which i can say its a biased report after all because government doesnt really like mostly for bitcoin to be used by its cetizens which means they will sure give bad impressions therefore, having its own advertisement is somehow impossible as of these days.
7857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to give "day trading" a go, question is where? on: May 12, 2017, 04:08:48 AM
Thank you for your post Viper1!

I will take a look at Bittrex at first, as it seems like a good place to start out, also coinigy!

And that is 100% what I am going for, I won't trade on emotion, nor will I listed to the forums etc regarding "selling" or "buying" since it can go both ways really, I will buy, sit on my hands till I reach the point I feel comfortable and then sell :-)

Thank you once again!
Good luck to you buddy as long you do know the risk on trading it would be just fine and it seems you do like to trade on bittrex which is also a good choice.Just remember about the basics and fundamentals on day trading and make your funds do hold as long as you can and don't let that you lose it all so easily. Smiley
7858  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: May 12, 2017, 03:18:30 AM
i'm also having the same problem with that captcha from time to time, i'm not patient enough to wait a second so i just click that refresh button so it will give me another captcha like selecting store front among the rest. i think cryptopia should consider IP cookie so we won't have to keep doing it every time every second counts.
Having the same problem too ive been using cryptopia in the past and I didn't experience this kind of thing which is stuck on the captcha and now when I tried to check out my coins in the site.Im now experiencing this kind of stuff which can really piss me off since I do really hate to click and click and nothing works and you are just on a solving captcha for eternity.Admin should really fix this one.
7859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 11, 2017, 02:42:09 PM
No your right but for some reason I feel this post will be entombed in posterity for and looked on as the before times someday.
In other words either this fee will be seen as really cheap someday in the future presuming we can't consensus or someone will smile and remember the olden days when fees were this high for a bit ^^.
The joke is now were looking like banking ... limited amount of txns ...

That's exactly right, in many instances it's actually more expensive than using the bank.

In Coinbase, I went to send myself .01 BTC and the fee was 0.000542 BTC which is currently $0.86

Seconded, Ive been using coinbase for a year as far as I remember since I do really love to make transfers without any fees but now they are imposing fees which I do really understand but considering on the amount of fee I really see it that its already high.It might be $0.86 small for some but for me I consider it big but I don't have no choice but to pay-up in able to transfer funds.

It is expected.  Those who are giving a free transfers will definitely imposed a transaction fee because fee is not a dust anymore.  It cost them hundreds to thousands of dollars a day so they need to implement something like transaction fee to avoid such losses and make their company bankrupt.  We had our local exchange site to implement transaction fee, worst they even implement a processing fee above that transaction fee since they charge a minimum of 80k satoshi and maximum of 120k satoshi depends on how fast we want our transaction to be confirmed.
I do know what local exchange you are mentioning which they do really had an option to choose what would be the size of your tx fee depending on how fast it would be confirmed and I would say its really high almost 2$ as far as I remember which is a lot already for me that's why I always chose to select the medium one when I'm not in a hurry but overall fees are really a big thing for now on bitcoin world.
7860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice on: May 11, 2017, 02:02:12 PM
This selection do give the best list when you do seek for exchanges since this is the most reputable and famous as of now considering on the volume being traded there and those coins you mentioned on OP are available there which means you can anytime trade with it.Just making the simple thing on doing trading buy low sell high Smiley Goodluck
