8741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 19, 2016, 04:16:23 AM
Yes you can make a lot of money with the bitcoin and the fact is also that long terms are very good for yourself too.
Its very nice to do and its profitable too and you have to do nothing.

If you  do  possess  huge amounts of  bitcoin  then  holding would   be good idea too because you would surely  made  profits on  future  but if you are  just  holding small amounts then its better to invest  those  up  in able to grow rather  just  holding it. Seeing profits on  short terms  are the best  too.
8742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is mining alt coins profitable? on: October 19, 2016, 04:07:15 AM
I'm looking to invest in hardware, what kind of hardware should I buy and from where?

I don't know if still is profitable buy hardware with GHS/KHS for mining alt coins

how good is mining alt coins nowadays? still profitable?

thanks!

If you would  like   to  mine  bitcoin then you would surely need  asic miners  but   you are mentioning  about altcoin then  you would  sure use  GPU which these are   commonly used  on  mining  altcoins  and  you would  surely need   money  to invest on  this and  you have cheap electricity  to be profitable. Mining ETH  would be a go for me.
8743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [RaiBlocks] RaiBlocks trading thread on: October 19, 2016, 03:58:02 AM
Another bagholding opportunity for another shitcoin. At this rate, I'll be pretty excited to see raiblocks make a comeback, if ever... Unless anyone wants to buy these things off of me to add to their bag lol. Seriously, if interested, make me an offer in my inbox. I've got about 15k Mrai remaining.

I think that in this situation to buy from you can only some "kamikaze" Wink

But anyway I'm curious at what price could you sell this 15k mrai?
IMHO the price at this moment is 1 sat for 1MRai

At this rate, all you're buying is a dream. This coin started off so well; all the right development, all the right technology... but now, it's going to be hard to come back from the dead after losing so much faith of the very people that were so interested in the development of this coin.

1sat each is a bit low for the work that was involved to get the amount I'm holding, but it's still not worth the time it would take to transfer them at the price. The dream of RaiBlocks making a comeback is more than the effort to sell at that price lol.

With that said, I doubt anyone will make an offer that is remotely what I'm thinking of, so yeah, I'll just accept this as a deadcoin and archive my wallet at the time :/

heh true "it's still not worth the time it would take to transfer them at the price." ..that can be offered atm Wink

I also have saved few wallets.. maybe after time some of this coin will wake up.. Smiley who knows..? Smiley

I think  theres no chance for  raiblocks to be  revived again as we can see there are  no  feedbacks  and  updates  regarding on this  coin. I really miss this  coin though  because  it really make  me  some  money  on the time  it was  operating  but  now  it would  be  really a dream.
8744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Happy 3rd Birthday Unobtanium! on: October 19, 2016, 03:55:54 AM
This is a feat for an altcoin, some altcoin life span only last 6 months, some only a month after their ICO,a coin is worthy to adopt if it pass one year, much more three years.

Happy birthday Unobtanium,

You are right  bro, most   altcoin do  only last 6 months  or  less and some   1 month after their  ICO. If this  coins have  survived  for 3 years  already then  its really a good coin and  a good developer for sure  because they managed to last this  long  years.  There are only few  alts could last this  long.
8745  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: October 19, 2016, 03:48:48 AM
I think will be good idea if you should use that for trading and I also Agreed with wildworld invest in gold that a good future to get profit..Just my opinion

12BTC for trading is huge amount and it mostly cause him loose.. but if he have knowledge and experience about Arbitrage Trading then he may use them in That field. but for the simple trading 2 to 3 btc is enough. even if it is altcoin trading then I think he should start with 0.2 to 0.5BTC.

If you  like to have big  profits  on  trading then as  long as you are  ready to risk the 12 btc in trading then  proceed  just be sure that you are  knowledgeable  with it because   possible  big decent amounts of  profits is there  but also the risk  of lossing all is there also and  its  normal  in trading.
8746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: October 19, 2016, 03:46:10 AM
There is a minimal chance that this will happen but of course it could be possible, the bitcoin is already so big that it cannot disappear right away in my eyes.
It would take years to destroy it fully..
And I believe it will not happen soon, we will be enjoying more the benefits of using bitcoin. It is the new digital currency that is going to be useful for the people who love to transact online as it can help them save for the expenses on the fees, so I guess it will not be destroyed or will disappear, unless the government ban this.

Even though  government  would  ban bitcoin there would  be still transaction  underground  which we could really say that bitcoin would  not  disappear anytime soon  as  long  its been  used  by  people.  You are right  there  are  lots of   benefits we could  make  in  bitcoin thats  why  we  cant think as of  now that  it would  disappear.

At this moment, bitcoin has a lot of benefit and that is why it is attracting a lot of people. First it is the ease of trading across the global. With no 3 days waiting, no bank to bank transaction fee, no conversion rate problems, fast and secure, one of the lowest fee for buying and selling platform, the demand for btc is sure to increase during these few years.

You mentioned all  the  benefits  of bitcoin  which is  very true  and  no money transfers or services  that could able to do  the same with bitcoin thats  why  it became  more and  more popular  in days that would pass. We cant really stop the adoption of bitcoin and  it would continue to  grow on  upcoming years  and   would really take  long time  for it to die.
8747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the price for 1 ICN? on: October 19, 2016, 03:41:29 AM
It all depends on what markets we will be able to trade. I think we will see the price which was on presale (0.00021BTC) due to the large bounty fund and some problems with the Etereum network.
They made wise decision when they allowed  buy/sell ICONOMI accounts before the start of trading, now anyone want to sell his tokens can sell them, so I think a part of bounty tokens will be sold to some holders before 25 october, therefore the price might be better than ICO price when it will be tradeable on exchanges.
For sure each ICN coin would  price more than  on ICO because as we can see  bounty holders and some investors  do tend  to  sell their tokens . FOr sure  part of bounty tokens would  be  sold  earlier  before it launches  in to exchangers.

was expecting someone will actually sell their ICO account but none so ever that I've seen that did it.
there was no one who  successfully sold their account. was trying to check because i'd like to buy as well.
I think maybe they were not unwilling to sell their coins because there will discard their personal email, it is the main factor of them that are not willing to sell their coins ..

But still i saw some  investors  do tend to  sell their  account  even compromising their  email which  i assume that they use  newly created  emails   so that if they would intend to sell it  in the future  they would  have  no problem at all  on giving the email. Price of  ICN  would be  more  that on  the launch price.
8748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Things All traders should Do on: October 18, 2016, 06:07:43 AM
All of those strategy are hard to follow. You can add
also in trading strategy is a decision-making.
Decision-making when to hold or sell the coins that
you bought. But all of these strategy that you posted
really helps the traders.

Its really hard to follow it  on  the first  place especially when you are just  starting  but  when you intend to  follow  it   on  every  trade you would  make  you would  surely get used to it and  these  ways are  useful though and  important  on which  you could somehow increase the chance  on making succesful trades in the future.
8749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: October 18, 2016, 06:01:41 AM

With the time you can give with your family, I guess nothing can beat that as it is very important as we are just living in this world in a short period of time so we need not to be selfish by just using our time in gambling. I commend you for doing great that you were able to stay gambling for your family.
Its a good way as controlling your addiction give your family a tine rather than gambling at first it is hard you will dont make it only in one day you need to do everyday limit your time on gamblng if you gamble about 6 hours on first less it with a half or one hour then have a bonding with your love ones or family have fun with them.
I would not recommend staying up all  on playing gambling  for how many  hours you should  really put up a  balance  regarding on the time with your family  and  its much better to spend more  hours  with your family than playing gambling . With this way you could actually stay away from gambling.
8750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: October 18, 2016, 05:56:40 AM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?
I do not think that there is any smart way of gambling because it still is the same you cannot control anything. It is all based on luck and that is it.
If there was a legit way of keep winning then everybody would win.
How to play smart is you don't play the game that always make you lose. You should be able to find a game that can at least make you always benefit. as for me, gambling sports always gives me a good profit. because I think it's easy to predict.

Well everyone has their own specialty as they gamble and good thing that you are able to make good profit with sports betting because they are some people that are not getting decent profit as they gamble with sports betting. And to play smartly is when you have already get good profit, just volunteer to save some of it.

Correct there are really people who are  good into something  and  all players  are the same  when they tend to  play sports betting  because some  may profitable  and  some  arent thats  why it really depends on which game  would suit  you  but  one thing  are commonly the same which is  lossing  all your money in an instant.
8751  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price will be fail to bottom line ? on: October 18, 2016, 05:34:54 AM
It won't fail. It will grow instead, because of the halving that took place this summer. Same thing happened in 2012 which led to the price skyrocketting to $1k. Now I expect it to be even higher than that, but it means it'll happen by the next winter.

You have a  point somehow  but the price pump of  $1k point wont  happen again  anytime soon  because as  we all see on the bitcoins price movement is somehow stable and theres  no sign  that there would be  a  hard pump but  its  much better this way because  we could assume that price dumps  wouldnt happen too.
8752  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: October 18, 2016, 05:26:57 AM
First of all ,op its your wish if you want to buy a house then buy it, if bitcoin price rises that high.i prefer to invest as a deposit in bank if i have that much btc.it not only give security but good profit also.

Thats correct, its up to the holder whether he wants to converts his bitcoin to fiat an buy a house or not. If the value can afford to buy a house, why not? If you are just renting an apartment, I think you should as shelter is one of our basic necessities.
Shelter is  one of the  most  common needs of a person   and we should  really make   hard effort  to build one or  buy one. As you  said  as  long our bitcoins could able to  buy a  house already we could  always  convert it to fiat and  buy  a house as  long  you do  posses huge amounts  of bitcoin.
8753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 18, 2016, 05:20:37 AM
to me bitcoin cannot make banks disappear as in present time as majority of the people do not know about bitocin therefore it is not good to say that bitcoin can disappear banks.

It is really impossible if we are going to talk about this because the government is not going to allow this to happen and bitcoin does a very unstable price so they are not going to entrust the banking system in bitcoin and people needs bank even though bitcoin is going to give us good service and convenience upon using it.

Very true, government wont  let this  thing to happen  because  fiat  is   one of the foundations   of  the economy of a certain country.  No matter how  bitcoin would  be   succesful in the  future but still  it  wont  have  a chance against fiat and   banks would  still remain.
8754  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anything smaller than a satoshi in BTC? on: October 18, 2016, 05:00:13 AM
Right now a satoshi is the smallest denomination. I don't see this as a problem right now because a satoshi is almost worthless. However in the future that could change if bitcoin becomes very valuable.

You cant  really say that  satoshi  is  almost worthless because      a  whole bitcoin is  consist of  satoshis  and you wont  make  a  whole  bitcoin  if  satoshi is almost worthless well but  if you are refering to  value then yes small satoshis are somehow worthless but you cant  form huge amounts  if you dont  pass on small amounts. IMO
8755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: October 17, 2016, 03:32:18 AM
Yeah its really possible to earn 1000 bitcoin  or atleast 100 bitcoins with trading Altcoins or bitcoin , if we buy it with low price and then hold it for long term and until wait for increasing its price to high value then we can get easily profit in amount of 1000 bitcoin or 100 bitcoin .
How many the capital are you wanna for putting in that for reaching the bitcoin, for joining in the ico that is will need preparing over $200,000 and waiting for the tripled of the rates and you're be able for make 100 BTC including your capital. but it's no easy like your said ,dude.

It would  not  really an easy thing to achieve  hence you would really need  lots of  money to start on  to make  huge  returns. 1000 btc is too much  to achieve in a short period of time. One thing comes thru my mind that you could able to achieve this if you own an exchanger .
8756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: October 17, 2016, 03:29:42 AM
Girls were the best managers of finance all time. Also girls were found over every sectors, so its possible to see girls into gambling. One good thing is that girls stick to limits, so won't get much addicted.

Girls are really good at managing finances, just watch your wife budget everything, which is for us man it's very impossible to budget things coz we are always an impulse buyer... But anyway, yup, they are part of the society and since there is not much law limiting their moves, then they could probably gamble...But I think they don't stay in gambling site for long hours...  Smiley

Agree with you pal, men  dont have  skills on managing  their money  unlike  to women or to our wives thats why we entrust  our money to them because  if we  hold  our  salary for sure  it would be gone in a short period  of time  because most men do spend  on non important things and thats reality.  Girls  do  really gamble especially when they need to entertain theirselves but be sure  that they are not  risking  too much on your money.
8757  Other / Off-topic / Re: How I Started getting BTC while poor on: October 17, 2016, 03:26:53 AM
When I first heard about Bitcoin I had no idea what it is. With little background in computer science most of it was over my head for a long time. I was very interested though I felt like it could turn into something big! My situation at the time limited my options. I had just recently got divorced and was having legal troubles and generally broke. So I did what most people do, I hit the faucets! After a few months of spending almost all my free time I had enough to deposit into an exchange and start trading! I of course decided on the ill fated cryptopia 😂! After many hours of hitting all types of faucets and making micro trades I was able to build my account to around $50 from a mere $.26. I than discovered Poloinex and migrated most of the major coins there. Shortly after cryptopia was hacked and I lost everything that was on there. I'm still going strong on Poloinex and have slowly been building my BTC as my situation has allowed. In short I hope this inspires anyone to pursue this if they are interested! Don't let anything stand in your way! All it takes is some time and willing to learn new things.

Im a  little bit touched on your  story hence i was  a newbie  before  and do really have  a hard time   on achieving  and earning  bitcoin. Faucets would really give  us only small amounts  and  also  it would really take  time and effort  to earn with it and  im amazed  that you  able to grow your faucet earning  on some exchanges  which is  somehow a good way on inspiring some   people  with these kind  of situation.
8758  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitminer.io real or scam? on: October 17, 2016, 03:22:06 AM
Hi guys,
Is bitminer.io real or scam?
I guess it is a scam, I tried to upgrade my withdrawal days from 30 days to 24 hours waiting but it did not happen just pending until now. I tried to refer the website to my friends then they tried it too from them I received a 0.002 bitcoin, I mean from just referring the said site then when I reached their minimum payout geez just a pending post are in my account.

But then my friend told me that she received her withdrawal amount from bitminer.io that is why I am totally confused of this crap.

you have  been  just scammed  by this  sh*t  ponzi scheme site.  Its a scam site and  i suppose your friend  wants only  a referal thats why he intend to recruit you hence  he could make  money on that but  still in badluck because  site doesnt pay at all on their  members/investors. Thats why its important to be vigilant on this  kind of sites. Promising  high returns on a short period of time is just total scam.
8759  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2016, 03:18:53 AM
Investing in bitcoin is very uncertain. You never know when the price is up or down. But the good thing about this is no matter what the outcome, you enjoy investing.
But you can not enjoy your investment until you can not earn profit, we should know how to do the proper investment, and holding your bitcoin in your wallet is not very good but is only good, the best thing is you need to invest also in different method offers by bitcoin to earn more income.

Investing on bitcoin  is  really good thing  to do and also  you must diversify it  on all  possible  good  investments so that you would able to enjoy potential profits as  long you handle well all of those investments you made but dont forget on the risk  of  lossing  money. I do have  high  hopes for bitcoin.
8760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOGE or BTC gambling? on: October 17, 2016, 03:17:05 AM
What do you prefer: to bet with BTCs or DOGEs?

Do you think Dice game with DOGE coins currency increases your chances of success on automatically mode (safest when you get consecutive losses)?

BTC, haven't had good luck to manage my bankroll with the more volatility in Doge.

Using either doesn't change the odds, so automatically mode does nothing in respect to that.

Agree, even which either  you would  use in playing gambling you wont still change the winning  chance or results the game and also the  value would still the same. They only differ  on quantity/ numbers  because  doge has  only a small  value but still its  not safe when yo intend to  play in both cryptos.
