81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crashed below $48K, is the bull market in danger? on: February 24, 2021, 09:03:47 AM
I'll be there (once again) to collect the cheap coins at 15k and lower. Thanks in advance Elon and your fanclub.  Grin

Hahaha. 15k and lower? Nah, don't think it will dump that low.
I do say maybe 35k or even 30k but not below. If price go that low, I can imagine so much panic and rush sells with all the negative comments from so many anti-bitcoins.
82  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange do you use??? on: February 23, 2021, 10:26:53 PM
If you had searched the forum, this topic has been discussed a lot. From there, you could have gotten a statistical answer.
That been said, a majority of people here are using Binance here. For me, it's all about its many features. And recently I am loving their p2p feature.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: next Bitcoin price correction WHEN? on: February 23, 2021, 09:44:13 PM
BTC price goes up and up ever since we had last correction at 42K. now we are at 57.4 K and climbing which is very very good. some people even expect no correction until 80-100K. if we move like that we may see price over 100K as soon as 2-3 months. what do you think?

Recently there is drop in price. We might want it as correction but with the way people are pointing at Elon Musk as the cause, I don't think it the correction we are waiting for. And this is because every correction should be natural without influence. Don't be surprise if you see, price drop to 40k or even below. Even at as that, it's a good thing.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feb 22 & XRP, what do you think will happen? on: February 23, 2021, 08:22:17 PM
With ripple the situation is not clear at the moment, I would definitely not buy XRP now, although some people do. For me the risk is too high. I'd rather wait and see what's next
Not sure why you would consider it that risky. I feel there is potential in Ripple. Aside bitcoin, from the top coins in the market, I would always choose it.
Even though there is no boom in price now after the said speculation, even if the price did not pump, the future is quite bright for it.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the potential side effects of corporations selling fake crypto? on: February 23, 2021, 06:11:33 PM
RobinHood App (they are not actually giving to the poor, quite the opposite) does that too.

The way it works they are printing endless money because people give them $$$ and in return just receive a number in the app.

This money they can loan or hedge out. Like if they have $1bn of virtual bitcoin they would only need to use a small percentage
of that to back it up in case everyone wants to sell suddenly and pull it out.

Banks work this way too, they only have 2% or 3% reserves of the actual money people have in their accounts.

The worst can happen RobinHood gamble away the customer funds and cant pay you out anymore.

The best advice is to not support these systems because you only own your bitcoin if you own your keys.
Whoa!
I am kinda hearing this for the first time. I know this system do exist, but I never knew it existed with PayPal. And to think with all the difficulties of using them, they could offer this type of service is surprising.
I can understand if this happens with fiat, but with Bitcoin, why would anyone want to even do that? This is way too risky.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Weekly on: February 23, 2021, 03:17:07 PM

As this sector is growing fast, I thought I'd write a weekly update about the developments in the crypto sportsbook/casino world.

Feel free to check it out and let me know your thought (there are a couple bets to follow in there too, if that's your thing) - https://bitedge.com/blog/crypto-betting-weekly-19-feb-2021/

Thanks!

Nice article and very good insight too. Would love to see more in the future.

Do you guys think gambling could be one of the main catalysts for Bitcoin becoming more widely adopted?

Thanks!

Not really. However, there is a few percentage to it contribution. Even though there are many betting and gambling online platforms, setting up and implementing Bitcoin as payment methods, it's just so because the use of Bitcoin has made online payments easier.
Over the years, we can see that the growth of Bitcoin is from different adoption and awareness and not specifically the gambling industry.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Elon Musk looking to buy more Bitcoin ? on: February 23, 2021, 01:32:09 PM
Should we care about this? Should we be relaying on him to buy Bitcoin so as the price will pump up?
I personally feel that if we keep expecting him to do or tweet something so that it price will move, we will end up allowing ONE man to indirect control Bitcoin.
And this shouldn't be happening.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is dumping, what's the possible reason? on: February 23, 2021, 11:47:31 AM
Well now, its below the price of $50k and some people are pointing fingers at Elon Musk recent tweet. Full article here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/02/22/bitcoin-btc-price-down-10percent-after-elon-musk-says-prices-seem-high.html

I can't simply agree or disagree to it, cause I believe other market behaviour could have affected it. Though its disliking how one man keeps shifting the direction of a universal coin. But in all, I am not worried cause I believe a market correction is needed.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the Key on: February 23, 2021, 07:33:01 AM
Good for you, OP, happy to hear that.
In the world of cryptocurrency and even any investment, it's not always to exercise patience. There is always the fear you are making a stupid mistake, especially when the market is dumping.
Though I feel you could have hodl onto more, there is more to gain in the future. But it's your decision  to make though.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 23, 2021, 03:33:55 AM
Happy Friday, gamblers Smiley

Some time ago, last October, I asked you if BTC price increase has affected your gameplay somehow. Back then, it wasn't a problem for most of the users who replied.

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

Thanks,
Karl from Bitcasino

Last year I switched and gambled mostly with Ripple (XRP) and this year, it still didn't change. The reason is that their transaction fee is way better for me than Bitcoin. But even at as such, I am still considering cutting down my gambling with XRP, and it's because I want to see where my coin will take me this year.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you sell if you had bought 10 Bitcoin at $100? on: February 22, 2021, 09:58:38 PM
I would have probably used it to purchase some items offline or online through someone or setup that knows about Bitcoin. And might have also purchase some altcoins with it, which was the trend then.

Then now,  the thought of it will be hunting me down.

Though, I personally won't have spend all. I would leave maybe 2 or 3 Bitcoins to see how it goes.
Ya, I'm that curious.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sponsor Money from Casino, Is bad or Good? on: February 22, 2021, 08:59:42 PM
This particular issue has always been confusing some games or casino influencers.
I feel there is nothing wrong with sponsorship. However, it's best the influencer or promoter make research about the casino to understand their authenticity and if they are not violating any law before promoting it. This is the best and the right way, in every business.
93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: February 22, 2021, 07:47:13 PM
You can luckily scale through by making some gains from it with no experience. However, to be on a safer side and avoid losing your funds, it's best to have at least some knowledge on how to trade.
At least using a demo account, can be of help. Or even browsing through the exchange also contribute.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Earning interest on your crypto on: February 22, 2021, 06:59:46 PM
I suggest to you to offer loan to this forum but remember that you need to grant a loaner who is trusted and high rank so you will be sure that you will get your crypto back with interest like 10 percent per month is good and big compared to the interest that you mentioned and not annual but it monthly. But lending your crypto to others even company or person is very risky so take your own risk.
Even offering loan to this forum is still kinda risky. Even though there are certain measures to ensure that the loan is recovered, it's still does not worth losing any amount of Bitcoin. With the price growth of Bitcoin, I do advise anyone to hold onto their coin.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: February 22, 2021, 03:56:47 PM
Frankly, I gamble on my own money that is not related to the signature campaign earning. The latter  is too small to cover my  passion to slot machines. Money from the signature campaign is only enough to buy a beer to drink it when playing at online casino with  those fruit gears. When I don't play I buy beer again and, sitting in my crappy chair,  dream about  big jackpot  which is waiting for me.

Hahah...That will be a good amount of beer on a weekly period.
I feel that no amount of Bitcoin is too small to save, if though the price is higher now. A little can go a long way especially if you calculate it in the long run.
Still, it depends on how anyone wish to spend it.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: A guy celebrating Bitcoin reaching $100 on: February 21, 2021, 11:57:32 PM
Would love to see his recent reaction now, and most especially if he still have some Bitcoin with him or if he hodl.
Videos like this, are very historical to the history of Bitcoin and should be properly documented. It will be useful for the coming generations who will obviously make great use of Bitcoin.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something to consider when selling your BTC... on: February 21, 2021, 09:35:36 PM
In some ways, whales are also important for the growth of Bitcoin, though to some extent. We shouldn't make it sound as if Bitcoin is made specifically for some people, it is for everyone.
The only thing we should consider is that whales shouldn't influence others on their decision of whether to purchase any cryptocurrency or not to.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 21, 2021, 08:07:56 PM
Knowing the details about the team may increase your winning percentage, but it can't guarantee you a win. But you can do better in sports betting if you check the team properly and you bet on that team. I have seen many gamblers doing well in sports batting because they bet in the right way. Those who bet a little more carefully in sports betting have a better chance of winning, because there the player can take the bet using his own knowledge.

Aside increasing the chance of winning, It's even impossible to play a game you know nothing about. Or else someone else is playing the game or helping them out to gamble but that takes away the fun in it.

It will be a waste of money to bet on a game you know nothing and leaving it to chances or luck will neither make the person win.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2021, 01:44:10 PM
Ordinary people or does who are angry they do not purchase Bitcoin when the price was damn low.

I have seen a lot of people procrastinate about buying Bitcoin and when it is all over the news about it price increase, this same people start giving a hundred and one reason why it fail so badly.   Grin Grin

100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: February 17, 2021, 10:54:15 AM
I'm surprised to see an abandoned coin like Dogecoin surging in price like crazy. People are overestimating Dogecoin without realizing that it was never meant to be taken seriously. The huge supply of DOGE in circulation, along with abandoned development and innovation, tells me that it should be less valuable than what it is right now (please correct me if I'm wrong).

What are your thoughts? Do you think Dogecoin is overpriced? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

Absolutely overpriced.
Many have forgotten that coin exit but thanks and no thanks to Elon Musk, its suddenly resurfaced. And to think there is no other coin he could have invested in except Dogecoin. Well, his choice. He should just quit misleading people, no need for the tweets.
