621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 05, 2019, 09:15:40 AM
Worldwide soccer has always been very popular. And betting on it is very popular and lucrative if you know the best players and clubs.
I have bet on it couple of times but I still don't enjoy it more than casinos.
After football, other popular games are basketball, cricket and tennis; though haven't bet on any of them unlike football.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy rising at slowest pace - Should they consider Crypto-currency? on: September 04, 2019, 09:18:05 PM
Economic growth might be possible of India consider cryptocurrency.
However, the concerning point is, will the government accept it into the country system?
It is one thing for the citizens to use and hold Bitcoin but it is another thing for legalisation of this digital currency to take place.
I feel it will impact in the economy more if the government takes interest in it.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 04, 2019, 05:26:43 PM
On a normal sense, cryptocurrency holding shouldn't be regarded as gambling.
But when one start selling impulsively or selling emotionally, because of FUD or price speculation, then it's more like gambling.
Moreover, you are not alone in this, as many hodlers have experienced this before which has lead to many quitting.
624  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: September 03, 2019, 07:22:16 PM
I see being part of the bull's group but I can't say I usually put more money constantly.
Instead I tend not to take out the ones I invest too often. Though few times, I tends to fall in bearish but in a lower percentage.
One problem I encounter as a bear is finding it difficult to buy back when the price is high.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammer caught tortured and killed. on: September 03, 2019, 11:58:56 AM
I am glad they were all arrested but he was very greedy!
You can't steal from those you steal with and go free, à criminal will know when another criminal wants to scam him. Glad karma caught up with all of them.
Money can be intoxicating at times. $63 million is quite a huge money.
My question is, now that he is dead without disclosing the logins details, how will the funds be recovered? Guess its lost forever.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: September 02, 2019, 06:15:40 PM
Whatever reasons the Chinese government have, I feel it's still not their call to make. An outside government has no business with how the other government runs his country.
What the Chinese government has to do is to caution his own citizens.
And I feel the Chinese government is being too rigid to their citizens especially on the issue of gambling. This is why most of them migrate to other countries where there will be lesser power control.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You think ICO Investing Is Worse Than Online Gambling on: August 30, 2019, 11:52:59 PM
OP, you answered your own question.
Not because I am wearing a Gambling signature but truth be told, ICO this days is not but day light scamming.
After 4-5 months of ICO completions there are high chances of most developers dumping the coin and investors losing.
Though, both gambling and ICO are both risky but at least you get to control some aspect of gambling unlike ICO where you have to plead with the developers to do something positive to promote the tokens.
However, if you are lucky to find a good ICO with an ideal project, the reward can be good at the long run.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Global economic and trade crisis on: August 30, 2019, 11:00:00 PM
No matter how you save or invest, if the world ever goes into global economy and trade crisis it will affect everyone even the rich. As the world needs one another to survive: what affects the other person affects you.
Some might have saved up some Gold, fiat or even Bitcoin  but then what if it hits suddenly? Everyone will be taken by surprise.
But again, even if you have saved up for it, there are things that money can't solve.
629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now at 9.5K or use emergency cash? on: August 30, 2019, 09:54:43 PM
Car insurance would have covered this up if you had one.

Nobody is against one spending their Bitcoin, its just that sometimes, when you sell low, the price might increase then it becomes a lose.

My suggestion; you should choose from either repairing your car or buying a new one. Don't do both at the same time. Most times, we don't gratify all our immediate needs all at once but gradually. And instead of spending all Bitcoin at once, take some funds from Bitcoin and some from the emergency money to solve your problem. This way, you won't be losing totally.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: August 30, 2019, 04:01:02 PM
How about weekly or monthly bonuses like in online games?

I doubt if most gambling sites will do this.
Those that try to do so, will indirectly take back the money after any winning.
Some gamblers claims to gives new players bonuses on new registration.
The bonus is most times as low as $1-$5 dollars and wining with it is hard.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Says “Bitcoin under $9,500. If you are panicking, you are a fool” on: August 30, 2019, 02:11:30 PM
Hahaha.. This guy always cracks me up with his word.
Well, I have to agree with him on this one.
Price below 10k does not means doom. This year alone there have been major increase in the price of Bitcoin than last year which is very encouraging.
Some people are expecting that the pride of Bitcoin should keep on increasing without flatulence which is not even possible.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: The New World Order with Crypto and Blockchain Technology on: August 30, 2019, 11:42:25 AM
I definitely see the implementation of the Blockchain technology in almost every sectors in the nearest future. Thanksfully, it evolution is created to make things easier.
But, I still don't believe in the theory of the new world order or the possibility of a world single currency.
The world will be monotonous if such a thing ever happened.
I prefer the existence of other fiat currencies working together with Bitcoin. That's the kind of future I see.
633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: August 29, 2019, 11:59:50 PM
SELLING MY PATEK PHILLIPE NAUTILUS 5726 white dial, box and papers.Accept any cryptos.Good investment.
This is not for this thread, take it to the Marketplace section. Or better still go the Beginner section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0 to know how things work in the forum.

OP, truth is Bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading is not for every one. Its a good thing you want to learn before it before jumping into it unlike some traders.
Be aware and be ready to forgo that $300 as anything can happen.
Know that income can come at times and sometimes you lose more besides I think $300 is a small amount that can't give you $500 per month. Truth is you may not make up to that per month or else if the market moves in a positive direction.
634  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your Bitcoin price prediction for 2019 on: August 29, 2019, 09:54:05 PM
I personally think that it will at least come close to the ATH because there is some shady pumping going on by the whales.
What is your take?
Every price flauation is not actually influenced by the whales, some could be traders activities.
Anyway, I think the year will end with the price of 15k at exact. Figure crossed.
I feel this price will make it stable at the first beginning of the 2020 where there will additional price increase, it will be a gradual process. All the same let's hope for the best.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 76% of dark market using Bitcoin on: August 29, 2019, 08:34:00 PM
So, how and where do they actually conduct this research to get this figures?
I feel this article is another way to paint Bitcoin black indirectly.
Truth is, those in the dark web have always preferred Monero to Bitcoin. Reason? It's because they believe that Bitcoin is traceable unlike Bitcoin. Monero has nor privacy than Bitcoin an it's difficult for an outside observer to trace the source.
Those criminals are very smart. Why would they want to risk it?
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 29, 2019, 06:47:33 PM

Even I never come cross crypto betting on politics, it is completely new one which I have never seen before. Most of the reviews given to Trump in 2016 were completely negative, but finally, Trump won in the 2016 elections. Betting on Politics is really new one to me.
Politics gambling has been around long time ago but not popular like the casinos, dice, polo, sport and the others.
In some countries it might not be played online but between two parties who agree to do it; its mostly offline.
While some countries, it is an open online business . Though, I personally feel the risk is still higher.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO dead? on: August 28, 2019, 11:59:21 PM
About 70-80 percent dead.
What contributes to this? incompetent developers and most especially repetition of related projects.
Nowadays, majority of developers are into ICO to scam and collect investors funds. Ones the funding is completed they ghost the project and dump it in a shitty exchange. That is all. Leaving investors hanging.
Investors are also contributing to this by ignoring trustworthy project for scams ones even when it's clearly indicated.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to 100% Secure Bitcoin from Thieves / Hackers / Government??? on: August 28, 2019, 11:50:21 PM
Keeping it safe is possible but nothing is 100% safe in this modern world so don't be too sure, new technologies are proving us wrong everyday.
Even the toughest device can still be cracked down if those hackers are determined to do so. However it's good to know the length you are going to secure your funds.
Though, I personally feel the major threat are the hackers and thieves, less threat might come from the government.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What withdrawal fee do you consider as fair in gambling sites? on: August 28, 2019, 10:59:47 PM
0.001 Btc?! That is too much for this recent Bitcoin price though.
If any gambling site I'm playing on make a withdrawal fee this high, that will be the last of me playing there or else if the amount I'm withdrawing is huge.
What will then happen if it is that same amount that I want to withdraw.
I think, withdrawal fee should be based on the amount you want to withdraw and shouldn't be fixed. Because some gambling sites are using fixed withdrawal fee to rip off their players.
640  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Says Bitcoin Waking Up Again on: August 28, 2019, 01:53:16 PM
I can believe only the part where he said that "Bitcoin is waking up again and the long term gain is ascertain".
Other things coming out of his mouth about BTC price is the going the other way round.
I use to have so much respect for this guy but not so much since he started making price prediction based on fantasy.
