1061  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain Not Just About Bitcoin on: May 10, 2018, 06:37:25 AM
Some people already know that bitcoin is a cryptocurrency been powered and established in the new technology 'blockchain'. Though, many people didn't know about it before till now. And apart from cryptocurrencies,  there are many things that can be established through blockchain like Share electricity with the neighbors,  registering music copyright and many more. People should be educated about this.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: May 09, 2018, 11:42:14 PM
Whoever that is wishing Ethereum will overpass Bitcoin it's  no other set of people than the traders. Most traders are hoping that Ethereum will overcome bitcoin in price so that they can make their gains. They believe that bitcoin has reached it prime and won't have a higher price than the recent.  But they don't understand the reason why bitcoin is and will still be the number one cryptocurrency is because of the problem it pose to solve.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do advisors really matter? on: May 09, 2018, 10:59:18 PM
The advisor are sometimes even more important than the team. They provide a certain degree of credibility to the project and sometimes they are the ones that are going to make the business have real sales.
They matter but not that important than the team. The teams are mostly the brain storm behind the ICO project and they are the ones handling the technical aspect which most advisors are not. Also, the advisors are  needed to help in contributing  in the way forward of the project. They can also give advises on how the marketing methods to use.
1064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not a good time to buy, according to this source on: May 09, 2018, 07:21:13 PM
Do not let any self proclaimed or a so called cryptocurrency expert tell you when to invest or direct you on how to invest cause sometime not every prediction they make is correct. Some expert of cryptocurrency are also traders like you and are just saying things that they felt will be good. I remember when the price was $6k+, some experts said not to buy. OP, if you have the capital and patient, then buy.
1065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to trade through a Broker on: May 09, 2018, 07:39:52 AM
OP, your situation reminds me of a forum user here who was scammed through a broker whom he paid some huge amount of money to purchase bitcoin from and in addition guide him also. To save yourself from stories that touches the heart. Make your research and read stories equivalent to yours. The good thing about bitcoin and cryptocurrency is that it is easy to purchase and invest. There is no other secret means of making it that what you have been doing before.
1066  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do people continue to invest in cloudmining? on: May 09, 2018, 04:50:45 AM
Apart from greedy and being lazy and all sorts of things, many people still invest in cloudmining because they are curious and wants to try it out. And you seriously don't blame them for this because most of all the cloudmining   company and marketer are very good at advertising cloudmining as a very potential and lucrative with a so called money back guarantee. And it's so unfortunate that most people who want to experiment fall for this.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affirmations that shall change your winnings. on: May 08, 2018, 08:31:00 PM
OP, you have an outstanding point here. This scenario and event is being called the 'power in being positive'. Most people are always negative and this affects their actions and daily living too. And same goes with utterances; whenever you say negative things in your life, business or any action you want to endeavor, those negative words start manifesting suddenly and this also applies in gambling too.
1068  Economy / Speculation / Re: Japanese run the BTC price! on: May 08, 2018, 06:31:17 PM
The MTGox man is on the stage again. He continue to sell the Bitcoin recovered from MTGox hack. This is why the price falling.
Don't be quick to point accusing fingers.  Yes, the MTGox trustee messed up big time then, but I don't think that he might be the reason why the price of bitcoin is dipping recent. Anything could have caused it; the traders who are rushing off to sell since the price moved from 6k for 9k could have been the cause. Moreover,  the recent price that dropped isn't that bad.
1069  Economy / Economics / Re: Feeling bitter in banks? on: May 08, 2018, 05:55:30 AM
I Won't say that I am sick of reading those kind of posts, but I can only  that their thought and desires of scrambling the banking sector away in the world or in a country is not possible, and basically not sensible. I for once don't like the way most banks run their banks and treat their customers, but a country needs banks to survive cause, inasmuch as a country have their own currency,  the bank will always be there.
1070  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: May 07, 2018, 10:59:17 PM
Your suggestions is really not a bad idea. But then, in other hand, it has a bad side, because, the  adoption of bitcoin or even any other cryptocurrency is really not by force or anything of such. Moreover,  you should know that most investors prefer to hold their coins in a very good secure hardware or wallet that is not easily accessed in anyway. Though it's impossible to get a 100% secured wallet but at least it's better than a radom app.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: How to choose a successful bounty on: May 06, 2018, 11:45:03 PM
Nice article OP, you should know that's it's not only about joining a bounty campaign managed by good managers, you should also try to research about the bounty you are interested in joining because most times, good campaign manager might end up managing a scam ICO. And at the end, you don't stand to blame the bounty manager for giving you shit tokens, it is the developers that are to be blamed.
1072  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchange with minimum fee on: May 06, 2018, 11:04:06 PM
Just like the user above me stated, I will also go for Binance too if I were you. I have been using them and I must say that they are serving it purpose. What you should be looking for its, an exchange with an excellent support unit, has a good review, has a good interface and easy to use and navigate. And also,  I don't know what amount you might regard as 'minimum' but to me, their minimum fee is okay for me.
1073  Economy / Speculation / Re: I've learned to trust my gut instinct on: May 06, 2018, 10:33:21 PM
Since I know of cryptocurrency,  I have never seem to shy away from my gut. Most times, you might be tempted to do otherwise as your gut  might have directed. But the truth remains that, if your gut always states to be true when you are taking decisions. Then its best to abide by it. If you ignore your guts and invest when you shouldn't just because you listened to some crypto advisers who claims to an expert, one is lost.
1074  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins now requires identification on: May 06, 2018, 08:59:40 PM
Well, its about time. it will be a welcome development in time to come. Though, I still prefer the anonymous transaction system one gets when trading in localbitcoin but with the much fraud and scamming activities going on there, KYC might help reduce it to some extent. I just hope whatever  method they will be using won't be a tedious one and won't require much information apart from the phone and email verification.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Example on how Crypto can reduce corruption on: May 06, 2018, 07:41:54 PM
From your story,  the only way cryptocurrency can be used is to view directly if the money has been paid and has reached the desired address because if it were to be the fait currency, there would have been a long protocol of viewing the transaction statement but with cryptos, it is fast. But on the other issue of allowing the identification of the users, it might not always work or else if you know the receiver in person.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When you try explain crypto to a non tech person! on: May 06, 2018, 06:55:17 PM
It's nothing special. To me, I don't feel any special. Cause I actually feel pity for them cause the are really missing out. Most people have the opportunity to learn coding and other technical stuffs, while the others may not have the  opportunities, so it's best to not have any special feeling about it and help out in any way you can.

You are right. There is nothing special in being a techie person and the other person is not. I feel it's a privilege and one should use it well. There is no use in feeling pompous about it, instead use the opportunity and education the other person who knows less about technology. The world is growing fast in technology and there are still some people who are really lacking behind in technology.
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy, what do you think? on: May 06, 2018, 04:19:28 PM
I think international relations has influenced the world economy do much. It's a good thing that most countries are combining with themselves just for the common growth of one another. But you should know that more powerful countries like to relate economically with countries which they feel that they will be gaining also from. It's like a trade by barter; 'if I contribute to your economy, you also contribute to mine.'
1078  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price manipulators? on: May 06, 2018, 01:40:32 PM
Well, we can't say that there isn't the present of whale manipulators in the price of bitcoin and also most cryptocurrency. Sometimes the  item whales do play their little gains to make their profits, but most times, some bitcoin  price fluctuation is as a result of FUDs and panic sell-off by some inpatient investors and over excited traders who wants to make quick gains.
1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20K coming soon, watch this chart and ease your mind :D on: May 05, 2018, 06:17:10 PM
OP, don't be too excited. Bitcoin price is just struggling to maintain the price of $9,000 and you are already becoming excited. Bear in mind that the price of cryptocurrency is most times, unpredictable. It's not that the price of 20k is not possible again, but it will take a gradual process for it to reach there. And when it does, it will be unstopped till it reaches above the price of 25k. This is personally my predictions.
1080  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to rise? on: May 04, 2018, 11:06:13 PM
It's a good thing bitcoin is pumping and yes, its likely that it may reach $10,000 but it may not cross this boundary for now, especially not this month. And the reason being that, it's not this month that has the potential of seeing a 10k. Though, even if it tends to see a bigger price this year, the FUDs from the government and panic from some investors might keep on pulling it back.
