441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar? on: November 12, 2019, 08:39:40 PM
Some people say bitcoin is better than US dollar but i think US dollar wins in terms of acceptance because not all people know what bitcoin is and bitcoin price is volatile and bitcoin don't have physical form you cannot touch it like dollars

For now, i think comparison should not be on which is highly accepted but on which has more value. When you want to compare them based on adoption, the US currency will always come out as a winner because it has been around for many years unlike Bitcoin which only emerged 10 years ago. Also, base on this simple comparison, I think they are equivalent though, just like every fiat to bitcoin. Each is serving their unique purpose.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Agree To Publicize Your Journey From Being Chronic Gambler on: November 12, 2019, 06:40:53 PM
Not everything should be done because of money though. The money will be spent but the influence it leaves will still linger on. Not that its actually bad been a chronic gambler (at least it's far better than being a murderer) but society tends to put fingers.
If such thing ever happen to me, I would give out the story but anonymously. Many true life stories that are published use that method.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 08, 2019, 11:45:29 PM
They need to understand martingale. Gambling is a game of chance and the house always has the most benefit. Even if you use auto bet with a 90% ratio, losing once will result in -10% loss.
In most of the times, auto do  not sometimes contribute to higher  or greater winning, it lack strategical implementation.
If even they understand the martingale, a player who doesn't have restrictions will end up putting their next coin in when they loss. What truly matters is self control.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Few Bold bounty hunters still walks among us on: November 08, 2019, 10:55:42 PM
That's if the coin is worth keeping.
Any bounty hunter that have successfully kept an altcoin or token after distribution must have seen potentiality in the coin.
Mostly what many bounty hunters do is to dump and sell off the coins immediately when they are distributed or paid. More reason why ICO dumps..
445  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20,000 USD by the year end. on: November 08, 2019, 08:56:55 PM
We have 1 month and 3 weeks more before the end of 2019 and  Im just hoping even this year bitcoin value will turn into $10,000 or more because if we go back again bitcoin to 5 digits we can focus to our next target or goal which is $20,000 probably high chance to happen in 2020. But now my prediction for 20k dolalrs this year is 50 over 100 percent only to happen
I doubt if we will see the price of 20k even if we reach 10k between this month and the next.
I am not been pessimistic or anything related to that but 20k won't be for this year.
Perhaps by the begin of next year or between the first quarter, the price of Bitcoin might reach and past 20k.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You don't want Bitcoin, You don't want Future :-\ on: November 08, 2019, 07:57:51 PM
The biggest positive effect Bitcoin has on me is the blessings of not littering the Web with my credit cards details.
Lately, since I started using Bitcoin, I hardly shop online with my credit card especially the actives ones. I have seen and heard stories of people whose account was cleared through their credit cards. Digital currency helps minimise this.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: November 08, 2019, 06:44:24 PM
my favorite is bitcoin to bet but to make fast last minute bets i prefer to use doge, luckygames does well to accepts so many altcoins, having more choice there is better, it may be that some players have their favorite altcoin that they accumulate, and finding it on a betting or gambling site can only please them...
Almost every online casino that pops up now have altcoins options for gamblers preferences.
This thread was created earlier this year, however, I am expecting many people view on using Bitcoin to gamble to change because the era of Bitcoin is metamorphosing and   its best to save up and hodl.
I don't specifically bring out some Bitcoin to gamble with but instead use free one I get and also some Ethereums.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Moving on to Other Things on: November 08, 2019, 06:02:28 PM
My guess is that him moving on to other things is probably another project or personal life. Maybe he knew how popular Bitcoin will become and don't want to be involved aftermath.
Those words had me thinking that perhaps Satoshi might be one of those who recently came forward to claim the identity. Or perhaps not.
Truth is, there will be a lot of 'maybes' till the issue of his identity is revealed.
449  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: November 08, 2019, 04:50:58 PM
Hehehehe...  Grin Grin
This thread sounds funny, I can't seems to understand the direction of where your question is directed. Whether you are being sarcasm or been serious.
The price of Bitcoin will certainly reach that price but not now though.
The guy might sound as if he is blabbing but we just have to watch what the future brings.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IEO is more legit if launch on big exchnages like Binance? on: November 08, 2019, 10:45:29 AM
Yes, it is very true that IEO entering large exchanges such as binance will be more real and reliable, and impossible to suspect
as a scam project. As we know, large exchanges have very good reputations, so if IEO projects launch in these exchanges. Will
carry a positive effect and will immediately get the trust of investors. Different if the project IEO launching on small exchanges
will be more difficult to get investor confidence, because small exchanges have unclear credibility.

I doubt it.
Entering or been listed in big or popular exchanges doesn't guaranty authenticity or genuineness.
I feel many worthless project will pay huge amount of money to do an IEO in related exchanges like Binance but at the end, they end up scamming people. It's mostly about the money though.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: November 07, 2019, 11:45:30 PM
If we gamble and have experienced a loss with a large nominal, of course, when we lose will remember the money we have spent to play. even though we won big. and often this thought keeps us from playing. we continue to play using the money from the victory so that precisely what was originally a big victory will be a defeat again,I don't think it's just me who experienced it
I don't think you are only in this, I think every gamblers have in one way or the other experienced this.
Though, most gamblers have learnt to always see the bigger picture or winning instead of the many looses and this is the thing that have kept them going since.
452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach $100k within 5 years from now on: November 07, 2019, 11:32:49 PM
It would be possible and will depend if more people will invest in bitcoin and we don't what will happen in the future. Also bitcoin  is really good for long term hodling and and by the end of this year the value might exceed the ATH or after the halving.

But for sure that cryptocurrency will be the future payment and paper money will be worthless unless people will still rely on it. And realize on how convenient using a digital payment than bringin papermoneh and coins.
We are indeed hoping this era will come, when Bitcoin or any relatable cryptocurrency will be the only used digital money been used by we humans but there will be a lot of buts there.
More reason is because government do not really want to lose their country currency.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Wonder Satoshi Disappeared... on: November 07, 2019, 07:19:44 PM
I'm a little bit confused of where you are pinpointing your point to. Though, indeed, cryptocurrency is money and the true one for that matter.
I think the disappearance of Satoshi is the best thing that has ever happened to Bitcoin. It promoted it decentralization.
If the true identity of the guy is known, there will be too much conspiracies and controversial. And Bitcoin might not have reached the stage it is presently.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone else remember this? on: November 07, 2019, 03:45:42 PM
Millenials nowadays only want what's the best for them. They don't really think much about how the company is working and performing as long as they can receive payment from the company, that's fine enough. And not every graduates don't just enjoy doing nothing at home.
Although millenials are becoming less competent with certain things since their busy fitting and being competent with technology just like the others. And now their seeing opportunities in the internet to find job.

Aren't we part of this system?
The more we tend to think we are not among this set of millennials, we become deeper part of it.
It just the era and years to come, different version of this part will come again.
Many people are looking for ways to be financial freed, and especially free from the stress of company strictness and the other stuffs related to it. Being in this forum alone make us part of the millennials in question.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact on gambling on: November 07, 2019, 11:51:39 AM
I went for been experienced from the listed voting pull cause I believe it matters most.
Though, looking at the statistic from the poll, many people actually believe that lucky is more important.
I feel that good winning impact is determined by a mixture of experiences and luck. It is because to be lucky, one should as least know how to play the game (experience) before luck comes in.
456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: November 06, 2019, 10:54:31 PM
One of the effective ways for me to control my emotions while I am trading is I don't look at the charts that often. I just set my take profit target and also the stop loss and after that I just do the other tasks that I needed to do. I always do this in order to avoid getting so emotional because the more you look at the chart, the more you will stressed out your brain and that is when you tend to make inappropriate decisions.

This will be very hard for some traders, especially during trading.
Though, when you aren't trading, looking at the chart is mostly not advisable and can be easily withstand. When trading many traders use the chart as a way of checking if they are selling low or selling high: especially about selling low. Thus us more reason it is inevitable.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: November 06, 2019, 10:29:54 PM
As for me, banks don't see blockchain as a treat anymore but a pathway to successful and instant transactions. The collaboration of the blockchain technology and the banking system is actually beneficial for both parties. I believe that if more people will be aware of crypto, more banks would still adopt it in the future

I personally don't think Blockchain is a threat to the bank but Bitcoin.
The blockchain technology is one that should be emulate to make the banking sector easier and transparent. Though, any banks who are seeing the Blockchain as a threat has something to hid and fears accountability and transparency.
458  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next? on: November 06, 2019, 09:39:29 PM
In cryptocurrency trading, hodling or investment. The one popular quote that many of us are familiar with is that 'cryptocurrency is unpredictable'.
This should mean alot . When you think their won't be any dumb, that is when you might experience the massive dumb but when you think otherwise, the opposite will be the case. The year is ending though, the supposed 'whales' might not want to harm their pile ups. We just have to look at the brighter side.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology "bottled" up on: November 06, 2019, 09:08:07 PM
You are kinda right OP.
When the issue of Blockchain technology is been discussed, many people channel that discussion towards Bitcoin forgetting that they are two different thing.
Another vivid truth is that, many are not ready to try out new things with the blockchain technology but only ready to make us of the product or technology out of it, a good example is Bitcoin.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: November 06, 2019, 06:56:23 PM
OP, if you are talking about rendering this sort of help for free, then I doubt if it will be possible.
But for a payment, may people who call themselves professionals gamblers will collect certain fees for it.
I have seen someone who is perfect in sport gambling, because of how he is good with it, many people beg him for directions. He collected some fee for it but yet didn't show them the real deal or his secret. It happens.
