841  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Blacklist of exchanges. Independent rating on: February 20, 2019, 02:52:13 PM
Agreed.

I got screwed by Binance. They claim to allow trade without KYC. Once you deposit funds they demand KYC.

Free advice:  Binance = Scam

The KYC requirement stuff came as a shock to many cause they weren't expecting it in regard of what they promise. KYC verification is expected by citizens from some certain countries or when you want to withdraw certain amount of Bitcoin (According to Binance , unverified account can withdraw up to 2BTC per 24hours while verified account withdraws up to 100BTC per 24hours).

You don't blame them for making such rules, it's all about been on a safer side.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix to make a documentary about the altcoin side of crypto on: February 20, 2019, 10:02:37 AM
"Mysterious dark side of cryptocurrency" well, it's quite true everything has it bad side and good side but I wonder how bad they might paint this "mysterious dark side of Bitcoin".
A lot of people are really painting Bitcoin bad, I hope they won't use this as a means to fabricate more false story.
843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will not go above $4,000 on: February 20, 2019, 06:44:50 AM
So if I'm right, all you are try Ik no to drive at I'd that Bitcoin is probably losing its value and probably won't survive it?  It might surprise you that every little price changes matters so it's not a coincident.
It's okay to voice your opinion and get frustrated on the market though.
844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I get price alerts on a specific amount on Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2019, 11:19:29 PM
The suggested software CoinWink is okay, I don't know about anyone but for someone like me,  I will always have the urge to check on the latest Bitcoin price every now and then, if I have this on my phone.  Lol.
I struggled with this in the past but now all over it. You should have it on your PC instead of the mobile app. Just suggesting though.
845  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Bitcoin Exchange Launches in Nigeria, Africa: Guava Exchange on: February 19, 2019, 05:26:02 PM
Interesting. I don't really think the government 'monetary' contributed to this project though. Nigeria particularly have been involving and investing in cryptocurrency even though the government made strict rule that it won't be an accepted as a national currency just like some countries did. But many people have been investing and using Bitcoin as personal payment method based on two party mutual agreement. Moreover,  there are many trusted local exchanges that are quite legit there too.
It's exciting this is their first 'international' exchange (that is if they are going to make it go international) : they will really need to compete with international exchanges being used by Nigeria by building trust.
846  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what are the things to consider when looking for a good exchange? on: February 19, 2019, 09:15:53 AM
1. Security
2. Listing and trading pairs
3. Trading Volume
4. Ease of withdrawal and deposit
5. UI & accessibility on all platforms and devices.

All true, but you didn't mention the most vital one. Your list won't be complete if you don't make mention of 'an effective customers support unit'.
An exchange may have all that you listed but without a good customer support, it's nothing. There is nothing satisfying as a getting a quick fix to your problem. I noticed it with xch4nge exchange when I wanted to fix an error in my account name.  Though,  I'm still on a quest on utilizing it to know more of it awesome features.
847  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Shop directly on Amazon.com with Bitcoin on: February 19, 2019, 06:08:00 AM
Well,  nice one OP, I just hope it last for the time being and not just go into extinct like the others. But truly your concept is quite different. Well, I didn't install the extension cause I'm a bit skeptical and waiting for a better review though.
Just want to suggest: are you guys considering putting BitPay too? For those of us who might have had one problem or another with coinbase.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's angel in disguise on: February 18, 2019, 11:10:45 PM
Lol... You don't blame those who panic in the price reduction of Bitcoin. Many of them bought the coin hoping that "Hey,  it will skyrocket just like the way it did on December 2017" lol . Many where truly disappointed last year.
This currency is not something you just rush to and buy off without monitoring what the market was like.
And moreover, it's always true that bad things or negative news spread quickly than the good ones.

850  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Btcoin Get Back To $20k up ? on: February 18, 2019, 09:03:28 AM
You guys should really stop asking this question. The truth remains that many prediction and speculations most times don't come to pass and it's not because they weren't correct or well-predicted but because nobody controls this market. If you are looking for something to give hope, check back in the history of Bitcoin and see for yourself.
This investment is not a "get rich quick" one.  Just invest and stop looking at the price!
851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I'm Not Ready To Sell My Bitcoins on: February 17, 2019, 08:30:08 PM
True!  I believe as a cryptocurrency  investor we all should have brace up ourselves and be ready to accept anything because this market is unpredictable yet have a brighter future. Last year many of us were expecting a massive increase but where dissapointed and sold off cause more dip.
I personally feel 2019 is a significant year for Bitcoin. It all about been patient enough.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The used of Bitcoin in Africa on: February 17, 2019, 12:48:12 PM
In Africa generally, there are many who purchase Bitcoin only just to use it for online means for payment of  purchases and services. But they can not use it for payment of goods and services offline.
The few things that contributed to this are: some Africa governments restricted the use of Bitcoin kn their country and also technology in Africa is still in the developing stage. Not everyone knows about this coin there but some good amount of youths.
853  Economy / Economics / Re: The Consensus is Clear: You Should Own Gold Now on: February 17, 2019, 08:31:14 AM
I think Gold is one of the many stable investment that one should invest in. So even without any debate on it, I do buy it and keep on storing them. Just like Bitcoin, it will have a very long and vital role to play in the future to come; like during inflation.
Their best is yet to come; I'm not giving up on it any sooner.

Applying... Withdrew my application
855  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: January 13, 2019, 11:59:20 PM
Not only miracle, bitcoin needed your support and make bitcoin could raised to higher price again, always support bitcoin how to get price higher by always giving good information and make re investing at bitcoin.
Exactly.... There is no miracle without adequate support and input. It's not as if Bitcoin really need miracle or anything of such; for me the cryptocurrency market is still growing and still has much room for growth and expansion,  so there is no need to loss hope now cause we are here to experience the best of it.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 13, 2019, 11:32:09 PM
If you ever do this,  you will have yourself to blame for a very long time. Don't be greedy or so, use the little you have and purchase the amount that you can.  This is the very mistake a lot of investors did when the price of Bitcoin was skyrocking to $20k. Use the money you are willing to forgo to invest and forget that you do so!
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies (beliefs) on: January 13, 2019, 10:57:08 PM
I still don't think there is any particular strategies for winnings. I believe that it's all about constant practice which makes you master your game to become perfect at it. We learn everyday,  as one play along, you will notice that there are many ways to winnings which one hasn't discovered before.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: January 13, 2019, 10:42:51 PM
i just thinking to investing more , when most people are think to sell their assets , it will long journey for cryptocurrency and i still belive it
This is exactly what people don't know, when the market is red, they run around in panic sell,  without sizing the opportunity they have. The main secret is to buy in the dump and sell in the pump but most especially, do not invest in shit coins or altcoins. That's the part is people loss.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Numerous altcoins and tokens also a reason for bitcoin's downfall ? on: January 13, 2019, 09:41:05 PM
Though, there are many annoying altcoins which in the normal sense is not even supposed to exist  but developers still creates them for personal gains. But I won't say that they are the cause of Bitcoin price crashing because Bitcoin controls them not the other way round.
Though, it's disheartening how many people put their money into some ICO just for the sake of 'quick gains'.
860  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: January 13, 2019, 09:21:19 PM
gold is free and they are not bound and affected by inflation and many other activities and this makes gold able to provide good value for the future. gold as crypto they are decentralized and having them in large quantities will benefit you
Gold is not free neither is it decentralised,  if gold was truly decentralised,  we won't be having many owners  of it greedily having so many of them to themselves alone, it's not truly transparent just as cryptos and that is what makes crypto to stand out.  I know you meant it being free as in the sense that anyone who have the money can acquire it can have it but yet... It's not.
