81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holders Hesitant to Sell Despite Price Surge on: November 24, 2023, 11:05:03 PM
Bitcoin holders who have experienced the past halving and the market reaching its peak price doesn't tend to sell. We were able to experience these kind of market fluctuation happening mostly during the year end. December is approaching closer, and this will go even high. For everyone who is thinking to sell it isn't the right time. For traders it is good opportunity as we were able to see good fluctuation happening within specific range. For new users this market trend will trigger and some out of fear will sell earlier.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Late To Invest In Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2023, 10:58:56 PM
Bitcoin is created for the people and it isn't developed particularly for specific group of people. This means it can be used by everyone. Five years back it was not that big in price considering the present market price, which means everyone was able to buy it as a whole. Now with the increase in price we weren't able to buy it as a whole. Based on our financial ability we were able to buy a part of bitcoin.

This is where most people have the thinking we were late to invest into bitcoin. Maybe in comparison with the price in the past it looks we've got into the market late. Same time if we think of the future of bitcoin, we aren't late. We should accumulate as much possible.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Just HODL But HODL Wisely and Securely on: November 22, 2023, 11:59:56 PM
It is the right time to hold. People used to hold good volume of cryptocurrency, but the mistake done by them makes the holding go unused. Whether it is very few dollars worth of cryptocurrency or a huge amount of cryptocurrency, we need to be more responsible in keeping it securely. The control should be with us, We should never let the fund stored in a third party platform. We may think it is secure and the platform will take responsibility if some hack/issue arises. Not at all, they'll just show the terms and conditions of them and move on.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: November 18, 2023, 11:59:43 PM
Cashout when you've multiplied your capital. We don't do it. I personally had experienced losses just because I keep playing even after making good profit out of small capitals. This need to be overcome by our control on gambling activities. If we don't Cashout, atleast we can take break for some time period. This is how it is possible to limit our loss than just going forward and ending losing all our wallet balance.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you in profit? on: November 18, 2023, 11:58:06 PM
I'm in loss. I was able to turn my $3 worth of Shiba got through bonus into $113 but I wasn't able to keep up the win continue. In one of the statment I came accross an user suggesting when you're able to multiple twice the capital you're on profit and make use of the winning. I could've followed it, and that's true when we go for big win we loss everything.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: November 18, 2023, 11:52:33 PM
Gambling is dependent on luck, but we can be on the profiting side if we know when to stop and take a break. Most of us don't follow it, just the wins keep us high and we go for increased bet value. The same ends our wager at the shortest. To be on the safer side better choice is to spend on sports betting than casino games.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: November 17, 2023, 11:59:35 PM
Simple thing, the person who had won big doesn't want to share or give little to his friends. If he keeps distance the friends also won't get an opportunity to request him for financial help. Money changes the minds of people and what we had seen is just an example. Someday he'll realise there is much more things that are more important than money.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some rich person not interest about bitcoin for following reason on: November 17, 2023, 11:51:41 PM
A friend of mine is not interested in buying Bitcoin even after learning about it.
Because according to him Bitcoin is a small number of people who have a lot of Bitcoin. They can easily go down on the bitcoin market if they want to.
First of all, there is no need to force any one to join Bitcoin investment or trading. If your friend isn't interested, it is okay. It means your friend is still not sure about Bitcoin and he doesn't understand the advantages of Bitcoin. He may already learn it, but he misses the part of the potential of Bitcoin in the future. Anyway, even if it is true that there are few people only who have a huge number of Bitcoin, it is never proven that it can destroy the market. We already experienced it for many years, and it doesn't influence much to the market activity. It is just his own assumption because he still doesn't understand enough about Bitcoin.
I agree with you who don't like investing in Bitcoin because they don't know how to make a profit from the investment they make with Bitcoin and they also won't be able to learn about Bitcoin because they don't like it or they already know an easier way to make money easily.
As bitcoin is technology associated people have got different view on bitcoin. They never find this to be interesting, and think of it as a complicated one. Unlike the stock market it can't be predicted which is a big difference and the volatility used to be very high compared to the stock market. Most of the people who doesn't show interest upon bitcoin is not because of the risk, complication, and other regulatory issues. Already they've found a way to earn better, what for most of the people get into bitcoin. Not for the technology that stands unique, but to make money.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 17, 2023, 11:37:39 PM
So I was completely wrong about the match between Alcaraz and Medvedev. Just 2 sets. Medvedev lost. So Alcaraz and Medvedev have qualified for the semi-finals. Zverev is out and will only play Rublev for the honour.
Semi-final between Alcaraz and Djokovic. That will certainly be exciting. The other match between Sinner and Medvedev.
Once again a good match gonna take place between Alcaraz and Djokovic. The fight continues as Djokovic defeated Alcaraz in the Roland Garros semifinals and moved to the final. Following the same Alcaraz defeated Djokovic in the Wimbledon final to win the title. Now once again both meeting in the semi-final is really interesting. The best part with the two is the never giveup mind. This makes the match more enjoyable than other matches.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a mega winner say no to public presentation? on: November 17, 2023, 11:28:56 PM
Which country the guy belongs to is not all a big thing. When it comes to money, people need to be more cautious. Life is more important than money, and there are possible chances of life threat. Identity of such big wins shouldn't be revealed to the outer world. If it is of a popular person, it won't be a problem. When it is a common man, surely people will try to take advantage. This is kind of promotion for the platform, and they should also understand and provide security to the winners in such incidents.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Our future with renewable energy. on: November 17, 2023, 11:20:00 PM
Interesting explanation from you OP. I admit that this is seen as an important step to maintain environmental sustainability as well as a currently developing issue, namely climate change, and this is also capable of boosting economic growth and creating jobs in the renewable energy sector.

More generally, of course each country is ready and not, where they are ready with existing resources but are still hampered in adopting renewable energy technology, for example renewable energy installations due to high costs.

I can agree with the expensive installation costs, however, once they installed, they will enjoy free energy.
There may be maintenance costs, but it may be minimal afterwards. So for me, it is worth exploring the use of renewable energy.
However, they need a very good plan on this, so as not to waste their financial resources for nothing.
We are already heading to the exploration of these renewable sources, so for me, it is worth exhausting the potential of these free sources.
The initial cost to setup the renewable energy production units will be high, when the outcome and the time period is calculated it used to be good and more effective than non renewable energy sources. Recently most of the European Countries have begun to concentrate much on renewable energy sources, and the realisation happened when the Russian oil import were stopped due to the sanction. It takes more years for the infrastructure development, and this is really good for the environment.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you bet on when your league is in break? on: November 16, 2023, 11:52:20 PM
When you bet on games that you don't have idea we may end up losing. In such situation the better choice is to go with the lower odds suggested by the platforms. This increase the chance of winning, and lets us have little learning about the game. My personal choice of league is tennis, and I spend only on main events. At times out of frustration after losing the much expected match used to spend on unknown tennis matches which at times win.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning big amount after watching streamer on: November 16, 2023, 11:16:31 PM
OP is lucky and he had the good time. If not, he couldn't have watched the streamer and might've not tried the new game. He had the luck in his favour that made him watch the stream and try it. As he had said it used to be fun and more enjoyable when something happens same as what we watch. Moreover we should not go beyond our limits with gambling, we should always stick with our limits. Trying is good, but we should not develop a never giveup mind with gambling.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 16, 2023, 11:01:22 PM
Already in the OP it is said, all fingers weren't the same. Different people have got different responsibilities and thought process. Some turns more stable and have better understanding about finance in this early teen age, with some people it happens after 30+ years of age. We can't get fixed to specific age, and age is just a number. One should be financially stable when he/she is getting ready for marriage.

In our region there is a saying life has to be divided by 8 years. First eight years is to play, second eight years to study, within 24 years of age you need to marry. Within 32 you need a child and the next eight years is for earning. Age 40-48 years to roam the world. Upto 56 years it is to take rest. Living after 64 years without achieving this isn't gonna give us relief.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Small Scale Business Ideas on: November 16, 2023, 10:49:03 PM
On this board I often see a lot of discussions related to investment and finance which tend to be large scale. However, to start investing we need capital. How do you find capital for investment?

Let's talk about small scale businesses that have low risks and promising profits so that we can have capital to invest and become passive income in the future.

Do you have a small business idea? or business experience? I want to hear it

You can become a reseller or sell products that are trending at that time, of course you have to survey the market where you live, what items are sold the most, then you do research and try to start it, persistent efforts will definitely produce results.
First of all we need to fix ourselves to the limit. Whether we're doing it on the regional basis or extending it beyond borders. If we're planning to establish our business then first thing is to analyse mind and the need of people. Selling the products that are trending the market will keep us active, but the competence will be quite high. As mentioned by one of the person it is always good to go with business of selling day to day needs. Also we should have the patience and the backing as it can take time to get into better profiting.

97  Economy / Economics / Re: Honda Now Accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum As Payment Methods on: October 05, 2023, 10:43:20 PM
Honda had partnered with FCF pay. Already they're a trusted service provider in the country which supports transaction on bitcoin, ETH, XRP with other memecoin Shiba and Dogecoin. Allowing customers to buy with cryptocurrency by Honda makes themselves on the lead getting adopted to the technology advancement on the automobile industry.

Already banking service provider HSBC have partnered with FCF pay which is a big thing. They have given the choice for its users to pay their mortgage and loans in terms of specific cryptocurrencies. This is really good to see cryptocurrency usage on the banking industry. Increasing acceptance have made service providers to stay active in technology and the same had paved path for connection between the traditional system with cryptocurrency.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: October 04, 2023, 11:54:08 PM
Most of the time money is not the problem. It used to be the choice of making money that drives towards gambling. Once started to wager, the win/loss keeps us gambling for the rest of the day. I personally start to wager with few dollars looking for small money. As the prediction doesn't work as we expect, the loss makes you increase the bet value.

The spending difffer based on the financial ability, however going beyond the ability makes it more of a risky thing. In most of the case, the middle class people used to be the sufferer as they risk money that is supposed to be used for their living.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashing Out Thousands of Bitcoin on: September 27, 2023, 11:51:39 PM
This is going to be really tough, because when the transaction limits were seen high automatically there arises question on the transaction. With my bank I was investigated when my account started to handle transactions in thousands of dollars. Earlier I hadn't used to it. We can expect similar situation with majority of the banks. I'm not sure of it, but to convert the convert the black money into pure money corporate firms use shell companies registered and bring the money through them. Maybe starting such companies and investing on them and bringing it into account seems to be the better choice.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 26, 2023, 11:59:33 PM
I have been thinking and trying to analyze what is really causing the high cost of food in Nigeria, I came to realize that monopoly is the major factors, Nigeria government are the enablers. How can one person be the sole major distributor, government should welcome competition in the business sector, every business person should be allowed to produce.

Are you purely talking about Nigeria or the worldwide economy? As Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa if I recall correctly, however they are still relatively small when compared against many other countries outside of Africa. Unfortunately certain countries have been so corrupted and maybe classified as "democracies" in name only, as the leadership will often manipulate their inherent advantages when they have been entrenched for a long time. It's very difficult to build a strong country with independent judiciaries, police forces, institutions and politicians - taking generations or even centuries to achieve the right level of stability. However they can often be broken by people abusing certain powers in unexpected ways.
With most of the countries this is a big problem. Particularly with African countries the governments were the reason behind the destruction of the economy. Everywhere corruption and it ruins the life of the common man. There need to be transparency in governance. Even in some part of the country traditional methods of tax collections were there. These things will surely lead to ease of corruption. Another thing is the western influence over the countries, different corporate firms make deals with the government and take the natural wealth. What will be left behind? Will the people be fairly treated, No!! If the government is proper in its position automatically things will turn better with time.
