82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New NFTS Projects on Solana on: November 16, 2021, 03:33:11 PM
Seems more of a promotion thread rather than staying within the topic, I mean you're correct about this NFT project is on Solana but to the fact that you were mainly promoting this Foxville NFT game seems better if you'd move your thread on another board, but if the moderators are cool with this then alright.

I visited the website and overall it needs to be improved, the entire roadmap seems to be promising but I'm still trying to find something unique from this game compared to other farming games, I'd rather play MIR4 to be honest but to compare something early at this stage would be unfair, I'll try to explore more and might as well play the game for myself.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: November 16, 2021, 02:36:10 PM
Been using BNB a lot! and I can say that the transaction fees are pretty cheap I love it, haven't used SOL that much lately but I know that Solana also provides a pretty cheap transaction fee, might as well try using these 2 altcoins, I swear they are one of the convenient coins right now, most esp. BNB to be honest.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids into Cryptocurrency Mining on: November 16, 2021, 02:19:01 PM
Really interesting to share the story of a 14 year old kid Ishaan and his nine year old sister Aanya based in Texas. From the name it looks like they're of Indian origin. Initially the kids managed to make an earning of $3 per day. Now this has rose to $30000 per month. Also they've established their own cryptocurrency, I'm not sure about its details. On the whole they've made $160000 in profits through Flifer Technologies.

Ishaan mentioned that the computers constantly scan for the most profitable cryptocurrency for mining and switch to that automatically. Ether is the most dominant. Bitcoin and Ravencoin takes the next positions.

The kids have learned how to mine watching YouTube videos. Right now these kids are saving the profit for future education. Monthly electricity bill for them costs $5000 and for machines maintenance costs $4000. However the initial investment is done by his father who is an investment banker. The capital investment isn't disclosed. All the computers are built by the kids. When kids of this age spend on gaming, these kids are spending time on cryptocurrency mining. This shows how kids are getting associated with technology.

Below is the link that gives briefing about the news
Crypto Mining Business Grow to Unprecedented Levels

That's actually crazy, when I was 14 all I know is playing League of Legends, eat and sleep, these kids are the next generation though it would be sad if at an early age they'll focus too much on making money, education is also important of course but coming from Indians, they've always been this smart ever since. This is a huge investment and to think of it that they've established their own cryptocurrency which makes it even more crazier. More kids will adapt this in the future and I'm pretty sure that if this happens, the next generation's adults are going to be financially secured in the next 100 years, all thanks to cryptocurrency.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What resources do you use before investing your money in new projects? on: November 16, 2021, 02:02:28 PM
I mean sites, Twitter accounts, Telegram channels etc.

Most of the projects nowadays have every social media platform available (Twitter, Reddit, Github, Instagram, Whatsapp or Telegram, etc.), I suggest checking all these platforms out and also mind checking their website to check for such legitimacy, also, it depends on the project itself if it contains potential and a promising future for the project, if it doesn't make you feel interested nor feel the passion for that specific project then move on to another one, investing in crypto can be tricky as most of these projects contain such fake promises and shitty benefits, invest in something that interests you and keep in mind that risks are always visible whenever you are to invest in something.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 16, 2021, 01:57:15 PM
I was about to say the battle of the top seeds East and West but upon looking at the standings, Washington Wizards is the one on the top for the East.  Shocked
Shocked? Yeah, me too.
Very shocked, but at the same time, I'm happy that they traded Westbrook and now the Lakers are taking the struggle because they trade 3 of their players just for Westbrook. Bad decision by the Lakers and Wizards benefited from that.

That game against the Pelicans Beal did not play, no beal but no problem at all.

Golden State Warriors versus the Brooklyn Nets later. Oh yes, this will be one hell of a fun game. I may try to just take a bet for scoring above 220 or more. Team bets will be difficult to predict although I may be slight on the side of GSW here when those youngsters find their rhythm and speed up the game.
Durant and Curry which are the top MVP candidate this season will face, I guess I'm going with the Warriors here because I love to play the underdog.

Steph is definitely on the top spot right now but the season is still young while Jimmy Buckets on the 2nd spot alongside, if Steph can get another MVP this season then he'll be making a historic season once again for the dubs, lots of talented players right now and their enemies are the young guys like Ja, Luka, Trae Young, Anthony Edwards, this season is stacked with talent which makes every team entertaining to watch.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin transaction fee fixed? on: November 16, 2021, 01:40:36 PM
After  solving the arithmetic logarithm by the miners to choose who would  carry out the transactions on the network. The transaction fee charged is it fixed, decided by fellow miners or can the sender edit the transaction fee below the current price charged or above it?
I'm just curious

As far as I know, some wallets offer options whether it be a rushed transaction or a regular one, therefore giving us options to settle for a cheaper transaction fee and an expensive one if you prefer rushed, also, the wallet themselves or the exchange itself collects additional fees, I don't think the fee is fixed since the miner's fee and the exchange's fee adds up, but I think the transaction fee as of now is cheaper compared to other currencies like ETH.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 Vs 2021 on: November 16, 2021, 01:23:06 PM
Aside from the market being bearish, the price difference between 2017 and 2021, aside from those I have mentioned, the biggest difference today and then is that more investors are interested investing in crypto compared to investing in banks and start-up projects IRL, investors prefer going crypto since they know how big the profit is in crypto, also, social media has changed throughout the 4-year mark, it is much easier nowadays to promote your coins as there are so many platforms to choose from, the difference back then and now is that there are fewer platforms back then compared to today's crypto market.
89  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 16, 2021, 08:18:20 AM
Last time I check, an ex NBA player Nate Robinson got knockout cold by Jake Paul, and now another ex NBA star trying his journey in boxing, this must be fun.
Most probably their purpose is to entertain and to have some money as well, since this is an undercard there's no assurance that they can get a full attention from the crowd though seeing an ex NBA players and a retired player, makes me think that Boxing is getting weirder now. Lots of exhibitions matches between those retired players out of boxing, this might really be the trend now, there's no full retirement for them.
As long as people keep paying to watch those fights then the market is going to give them what they want, I admit that I find this to be odd as well, most of the time I watch a boxing fight in order to see the best the sport can offer do what they can do best, however it seems the tastes of the public have changed, I do not know if this is because of the pandemic or if this is simply a generational change but it seems it is here to stay.

Yes obviously, If nobody wants to watch exhibition match for either a celebrity or a sports celebrity, they'll not going to make a match like these in the first place.
I was really thinking, why would the boxing organization creates a separate council intended for exhibition and pure entertainment. Have the people vote who they want to see fighting in the ring next.
Maybe most people loves watching people beating each other, especially the celebrities.

Nah, these celebrities just want to hop in for exposure and money, Nate Robinson also had a fight against Jake Paul, guess what, Nate lost, it's all about money now and these retired athletes will never do it if money ain't involved, they don't care about how the match will end or how fixed it is, all they care about is the money, period.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we buy tokens for young projects? on: November 15, 2021, 02:58:25 PM
Yes, but only to those projects who seem to be promising and here for the long-term, investing isn't easy and so as doing research to these projects, each project has their own goal and objective, risks are always there whenever we invest on projects, regardless if it's new or not.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 15, 2021, 01:53:41 PM
Steph Curry had an off night. It happens. I think the young guys gave him a little bit of trouble. Wiggins played well though and has shown a lot of improvement since joining the Warriors. Last year you saw it in his defense but this year you’re really seeing him get more comfortable with the ball and taking over the offense. I can’t wait to see what this team looks like when Wiseman and Thompson come back.
Just imagining it gives me the chills. It will be something new if we will see GSW making plays for Wiseman since they are not really used to it.
Steve Kerr might already have some plans written just for him when he comes back. But for now, all we see is the same play being used over and over again and it still works. What more if they could stretch it out with something new.  Roll Eyes

Denver Nuggets are now on a winning spree despite MPJ being out with a back injury. 5 winning streak to be exact and they could be the wild card that no one expects especially when Murray suddenly comes back.

I'm wrong with my prediction, I thought that the Warriors will win tonight. Yeah, Steph just had one of his off nights as he can't fight his shooting rhythm.

I love how Steph smiled at the end of the game, I really think he's aiming for that revenge game the next time they face the Hornets, it was an off-night for Steph and games like these fuels the whole team up to do better next game. On the other hand, Rozier was hot in the 4th quarter giving GS a head of an ache, 10-2, still the best record so I think they'll do better next game.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 15, 2021, 04:06:44 AM

The money is fixed, as it is in most boxing fights. As far as I know, boxers rarely get commission from ticket sales and broadcasts.
The question is, is do the result also is fixed...  Grin Grin Grin
If the result is not fixed then I think Mike should have won via KO without any problems. However, if it is not like that, we can expect everything.

In Jake Paul last fight against Woodley, Woodley was protesting that there was a stipulation in the contract that there should be a knockdown in the fight, exhibitions are like this they have a lot of stipulations, this is not to hurt or win but to just entertain the fans, although I really want Mike to knock out this guy, I doubt if we'll see that unless Mike break the rules and opted to please the crowd by knocking out this dude.

You call a fixed match entertaining? Woodley would've easily knocked out someone who has 0 experience in pro boxing, same with Mayweather, just imagine a pro boxer's work ethic compared to a content creator like Logan Paul, he's an amateur boxer, I'm not belittling Logan Paul but everything seems to be sketchy with their fights, people are actually betting the shit out of these exhibition matches and expect a good fight but just to know that these matches were fixed in the first place, it is possible for Logan to win against these boxers but if you watch these matches, go back to my post and see for yourself how right I am.

If Mike loses on this match, I swear that this'll be the most rotten piece of garbage match I'll be watching in my entire life.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors desire on meme coins are insane on: November 14, 2021, 03:25:41 PM
Quote
Meme coins on the other hand, may yield great results, but are extremely risky and is considered pure gambling.

It's a gamble nonetheless, and the reason why OP gained such profit is because he/she invested in memecoins in just at the right time and later on these memecoins gained such values, it's a gamble and let's be honest that these memecoins are not here to stay for a long period, these investors are looking forward to invest on reliable coins and coins that serves out a clear purpose and just a meme.

I'm pretty sure that OP will gain profit but I won't be certain that it's for a long time and he also had the guts to actually claim that he gained more profit than ETH/BTC for a long time, I really don't think that's true considering on how big Bitcoin and Ethereum had this year and last year technically speaking.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Much of the NFTs in the cryptospace will die on: November 14, 2021, 03:14:13 PM
Graphic artists have completely shifted to NFT since these artists actually gain more profit than they used to before, meme NFTs on the other hand (I suppose they call it that way) tend to die and lose its value after the hype is gone, meanwhile, for graphics or paintings that are exerted with skill and effort will definitely last for a while, I'm not much going to invest in buying NFT art but I definitely think in a general standpoint it seems to be worth investing for, just make sure it doesn't loses its value before you actually buy it.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: November 14, 2021, 12:33:20 PM
Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

I want to invest in a promising project called CheckDot. Their token sale starts this weekend and I think this is a good opportunity to successfully invest money.

Share your thoughts on such an investment. Maybe you have some interesting cases on this matter.

Investing in early projects or start-up is always a risk, take crypto out of the topic and investing in early business projects are always risky, taking the risk can either make you lose your money or take you to places.

Being a successful investor means you must invest time to study these projects and seek the project that has the most potential amongst the projects you seek to invest, it's a risk but a risk you'll enjoy once profit and return is gained. I suggest investing on projects that doesn't follow the hype alone but has meaning and passion injected by the developers, some projects die because they lack passion and planning, they only follow the hype and when the hype is over their projects die as well.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 14, 2021, 12:24:14 PM
Despite being called a "memecoin", beware of the community of dogecoin or shiba or any of these memecoins, if they expand and investors interested in dogecoin and shiba expands as well, they may survive for longer than we would expect, just saying that this is a possibility, if not, then these coins are expected to die as soon as the hype is over.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Sportsbet.io Betting thread - Combination with over and unders on: November 13, 2021, 10:49:52 PM
So boring to bet now on NBA because of there inconsistent performance due to adjustment. I usually place a parlay but now it's very hard because weak team can miraculously beat strong team since all teams is not that serious compared during the last part of the season since team on the 7 and below spot are all serious to qualify on the playoffs. This thread is cool for discussion about observation on the performance of each team.

Suggestion OP, Maybe make a segment on the main thread for those underdog team that has a high chance to beat top team base on the match history in this season. I will be happy to bet one of those team in the future.

I think there are already 2 threads about discussion over performances of each teams and their matches, this thread would be better focused on team stats, more technicalities.

If you'd watch the past games, everyone's at their fresh start, you can't expect consistency since it's this early of the season, I placed consecutive bets over the Warriors since I was studying the games and apparently, consistency goes for the Warriors, and other teams from the West, you can check their stats on the NBA website even if you really want to be serious on NBA betting.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 13, 2021, 10:43:07 PM
Not a very exciting day for NBA basketball. No nationally televised games and the only decent matchup of the day seems to be the Miami Heat vs the Utah Jazz. Miami has been playing pretty well so I’m not sure about them being 8 point underdogs, but the Jazz are on a mission this year. I think given their struggles over the last couple years this might be the last chance they have to go for it all with both Gobert and Mitchell on the roster.
That's why I took the heat because they are undervalued in this game even without Butler who is reported out already in this game.
tyler-herro Heat injury report: Jimmy Butler OUT for Saturday’s game vs. Jazz

For me, it should not be a problem for the Heat covering the spread without Butler, but winning, I think there's a small chance only, but let's see.

Tyler Herro will be the starting player in exchange for Jimmy Buckets, I'd love to see more action from Tyler Herro since he's really been performing well since the preseason, the way he's playing right now is definitely something different, a much more disciplined Herro and consistent, I'd place my bets on Jazz though as they seem to be more consistent offensively compared to Heat.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: November 13, 2021, 03:28:01 PM
Musk’s approach is beneficial to both Dogecoin and Tesla. Musk has its own traffic. He advertised Dogecoin that it has made enough money, and because of its popularity, everyone pays attention to it, and it also brings enthusiasm to Tesla.

I agree, but looking at Musk right now, it seems that he has lied low towards Doge and letting other memecoins rally the leaderboard. EM also has decided to invest in cryptocurrency because he himself know that this is the future, therefore, he's not only here because he has the power to manipulate the market or let alone a single memecoin be stormed just by tweeting, he's here because he wants to seek immense profit in the future also, just like us.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on blockchain is the longer term on: November 13, 2021, 02:59:58 PM
Blockchain gaming is long haul, indeed in bear advertise I accept that diversions like axie interminability and others will proceed to do well since numerous individuals are making a living off blockchain recreations as we talk, the selection rate will never halt.

Blockchain gaming is simply the same with gaming in general, once that players gets hooked up to the game, it starts to get addicting while were at it, and the fact that money is involved makes it even more exciting.

Axie Infinity is a big reason why NFT and gaming are on the rise, this game brought out the hype and the reason why blockchain gaming is gonna be here for a long period of time, if Axie falls, other blockchain games will be there to take the lead, and since blockchain gaming is on the rise, big companies like Ubisoft are planning out to develop an NFT game as well.

This is only the start of blockchain gaming, pretty sure that this will continue to grow as time goes by.
