81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: June 05, 2018, 10:29:16 PM
All coins were oversold before because of panic on the market which got worse after government ban crypto trading in few countries. Visa stopped providing bitcoin debit cards, china stand completely against bitcoin and India decided to not provide financial services to crypto trading platforms. This all is still creating fear on the market and people won't buy before it clears up.

Right now only small players are swinging price for quick buck and this is golden opportunity for day traders like me. Grin
Massive bull run is yet to come...
I would call it as a bull if in the next few weeks at least in the mid of June we get 10% recovery , otherwise we are still in the bear run. People put too high expectation on Bitcoin price nowadays , if you think clearly that $8,000 usd are a great achievement. So I wouldn't complain more with the current condition , it's still a good time to enjoy the price range between $6,000 to $9,000.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 05, 2018, 08:35:53 PM
I see it more towards my duty as a good citizen, if I do not care about the state tax then there will be uncontrolled greed because only focus for personal gain, I see the tax for development and I can also use it publicly, there is a return in a mutually beneficial way and will not make me lose it because it's also part of my charity against government development.

as well as in the application of crypto taxes, it also affects their recognition of the crypto business that we have been fighting for vigorously.
That's just a way / an effort to get and creates a well living place with joint system... Tax should not be supposed to be paid unless if you have extra money , but things has changed now we have been taxed for everything which it's make us annoyed and start thinking what the hell are they doing , we still live in a terrible place , corruption everywhere and nothing changed towards a better life quality. Hate it really , better to organize it in small scale , decentralized system might could help this matter.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Me Sold all BTC at 20k $ Peak on: June 05, 2018, 07:24:09 PM
Lucky you, but we can't guess future, btc may or may not cross 20k this year, for a short term you made a very good call, for long term only time will tell if btc go to zero or worth a million bucks :p
Lucky , if you have no idea what are you doing then it's clearly about luck. Some people know already that back in few months ago where Bitcoin price got pumped and people feel so hype keep buying it but forgot to set some limit as it goes bubble , it's anticipated to sell your Bitcoin at the ath and buyback later on the near dips when you know things technically and fundamentally. It would be a great feeling to do that , considering he has no idea about that too.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: June 05, 2018, 06:53:29 PM
yes indeed, many countries whose governments see the crypto as a threat to the sovereignty of state finances, but if the government wants to implement a system to control crypto or bitcoin, the government must first legalize crypto in that country, so the government can implement a system to control the crypto.
There's nothing called controlling crypto , it won't happened , ever.
Regulation just regulation , those people who love it would obey and do what regulation says , the rest of it would remain the same just like before these regulation issues popping up nowadays , just have no idea who still think that regulation would kill Bitcoin , it's a bit exaggerated .
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: June 05, 2018, 06:29:21 PM
I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sell-your-altcoins-says-pioneering-wall-street-blockchain-analyst

Bitcoin is the strongest crypto currency and bitcoin is more likely to survive than failures, and in other words bitcoin is the best coin among other crypto coins so choosing a bitcoin for investment is the best option.
If you talk about the long term one then yeah Bitcoin are untouchable as the beast , top cryptocurrency with a lot of supports behind. But when you talk about making profits in shorter term like 3 months , 6 months , a year or even for your daily trade , altcoin have a better statistics based on my experience holding / trading. That's just about choice.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018? on: June 05, 2018, 06:09:58 PM
If the marketcap of cryptos will reach 2-3 trillions in 2018, your forecast could really become an reality.
Still maybe .... And not only litecoin could jumping that high once the marketcap reach that number. It's a safe coin that grow slowly but so steady. If you looking for a high return with of course high risk , start making your own research on a new altcoins that has a lot of breakthrough things such as cardano , cheap coins that possibly turn to insane expensive!
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: June 04, 2018, 08:40:44 PM
Well, it's similar on my strategy, I'll buy coins when my goal prices will reach. One of my strategies are buying more than 3 coins to make more profit and stop losing my investment. I'm a hodler, I bought coins this year and my selling goal is next year.
It's always the matter of managing bankroll , otherwise you won't get any benefit even much more losses you'll get then , becareful really it could always be a boomerang for anyone who do this.
Sometimes I feel it's better to cut the loss in this kind situation rather than keep buying due it's higher risk. Rebuy it later on the bull moments , safer and much more comfortable especially if you are a newcomer ... Buying on drop trends could be considered as a dangerous action.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple Price Reach $ 5 Late This Year? on: June 02, 2018, 04:39:51 PM
Whoever does not talk about Ripple, but he still grows up and does it very well, it seems to me that he really can stand in front of bitcoin, but only by capitalization, because he just has a lot of coins.
It's like a centralized coins for me , but the breakthrough to have a long term adoption by acquiring conventional banks as their partner to develop ripple technology , that's make a lot of people interested to invest more due its promising future growth , doesn't matter the price currently below $1 , take your chance now ... I wouldn't surprised by the end of the year ripple reach $3 , $5 way too far from what the current reality.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins dropping like crazy on: June 02, 2018, 07:18:23 AM
Usually the quarter 1 is bearish followed by a bullish quarter 2. This time where quarter 1 was extremely bearish. Quarter 2 was the mixture of bearish and bullish trend. But bull wasn't able to take over the market yet successfully. There is no new money entering the BTC market as happened in December last year. This explains the bloodshed of BTC and alts alike as alts tend to follow BTC in price movement. I don't see market recovering any time sooner.
So you think this gonna be another long term bearish ... Instead back to quick recovering. It's just makes sense considering how new tokens popping up , pretty different back in last year where investor focused on several coins only , now the money was spread to a lot of altcoin projects. No wonder some investor come and go moving their money from one to another quickly causing the market a little bit chaos.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason people do not want to invest in crypto on: June 02, 2018, 07:02:27 AM
I think that this is a question of the very nature of man. The basis of distrust is fear. so that new and something unknown scares. Over time the situation should be corrected)
That's normal yeah , to feel and consider something wild called decentralized where there's no authority could make any regulation . That's why some people even still consider crypto space just another biggest lie and scam ever created instead think that it's a new big thing that could change the world in the future.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of altcoins ? on: June 01, 2018, 11:56:04 PM
The thing about altcoins is that they help to cover up whatever gaps that bitcoin leaves in the market. If there is a sector or a service that bitcoin cannot be used for then you can be sure that there is an altcoin out there that can do exactly that for you
Yeah also when you looking for an investment that gains you bigger potential in the future , the answer is an altcoin. It's more innovative besides so risky. The fee much more cheap sometimes and the transaction not cost time as much as what Bitcoin has lately , it's sucks when there's no alternative .
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto market=online casino on: June 01, 2018, 11:42:01 PM
Do you think the global cryptocurrency market is just like one giant worldwide online casino?
I have that feeling, when I trade on some crypto exchange platform. It`s like you are just "betting" on altcoin, token or BTC and hopping for the price to skyrocket. There`s no real investing involved, your money won`t create new jobs and lower the unemployment rate. The money goes from one trader to another. It`s a zero sum game. This is not a "win-win" situation. The sad thing is that Wall Street is the same type of "casino".
This makes the think that cryptocurrencies won`t change the world.
Nothing can change the "casino capitalism".

Yes imo this is like gambling. But when you know, what you're doing and avoid taking too much risk, you can be profitable on regular basis.
Bitcoin I think for instance isn't that much of a gamble anymore. It was a few years ago. But today I see BTC as a long term investment opportunity.
However the lower you go down the list on coinmarketcap, the bigger the risk gets if you aim to hold any of those altcoins for a longer period of time.
That's why I prefer to day trade them and convert my profits into Bitcoin.

Gambling , predicting , trading and guessing is kind of similar thing but not at the same real meaning. There's a little difference and it has a big influence to make people understand and practice it. Crypto market could be gambled , predicted , traded etc just the matter of way you do it. Generally I wouldn't agree that it's just like an online casino , you just too much buy coins randomly and ended up disappointed.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market recovering or just a big joke? on: June 01, 2018, 11:30:15 PM
i think its the same scheme as last year....

jan - mai up and down .. juni july regulation ... after august .
i hope this will go like las year.
Altcoins will get pusht of BTC as ever

thanks
It's not that easy to draw a conclusion and make such pattern. The right price for Bitcoin currently are at $5,000 other than that could be considered as a bubble , they said ....
Well the recovery to even $10k struggling and the support so weak causing the pump failed few weeks ago, now we are suffering again and looking for another attempt to break The resistance.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: June 01, 2018, 11:19:10 PM
I believe that luck has some kind of role in that, but the professional trader should never relly completely on luck alone
That's true , you'll get profit continuously when you are experienced and considered as a professional one. A lucky trader would get only one time profit and more losses to come. That's what makes the difference. Even though yeah this life would always involve luck no matter what , it's just part of the beautiful things not to rely on.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bloodbath to End on: June 01, 2018, 11:06:00 PM
I suppose the worst is already somewhere behind. I am expecting that the market will be rising, and this rise will be great. Hope BTC will go to the Moon.
I am with you also hoping there is totally a changes about bitcoin price. Were already waiting this for long the bloodbath to end and bitcoin will go to the moon. Hence this market is still a good choice to hold and believing their is a good to happen.
Still , the situation like this could be a trap. The dip not reached yet and I think the correction would remain happened at least till the end of this month where some global institution finished their work to regulates cryptocurrency which always become FUD for everyone who waiting insecurely. Just becareful.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% of world population cannot access computer so Bitcoins will fail. on: June 01, 2018, 10:52:18 PM
Yet again we have guys that sell kidney's and buying iPhones with that money.
New generations will adopt the technology better. Global internet for everyone and stuff...just be patient.
Such a narrow minded , those numbers of 60% also didn't have a big impact on world economics growth . We are who uses technology who did it. Even though the statistics say so I agree with you that the new generation always produce something better when they have got a benefit on all of these Bitcoin technology. This is just the matter of effectiveness not only numbers.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which factor is the most important for you when you evaluate an ICO? on: June 01, 2018, 10:22:41 PM
their team members, if the team members from the project showing up the real face and social media link wich mean linkedin , twitter etc
i believe they will not scam us, then i will read the whitepaper carefully my friend
You mean a real product that developed by a real person that at least should be known widely right? Other than that you might have to go for a 50/50 between legit or not. That's true , I would feel so secure investing the money on that kind ico. It's really matter who run the business , what kind future prospect and how the roadmap makes sense for everyone.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why long-term trading! on: June 01, 2018, 09:49:04 PM
For beginners, I would advise you to trade long-term, but such trade does not suit impatient people, sometimes you have to wait a very long time, a couple of months, and maybe a year, and sometimes even more.
first of all this is not called trading anymore. this is an investment.
secondly what you are doing is in fact encouraging more people to become bag holders specially since you posted this in altcoin board. usually altcoins don't have a good future in long term!!!

Quote
1. Compared to intraday trading, you do not need to be in front of a computer and watch the price 24/7, so the trader experiences less emotional stress.

trading has nothing to do with sitting behind your computer 24/7 and if you are doing it or thinking day-trading means that then you don't know what trading is!!!

Quote
2. Only when using long-term trading, it is realistic to take above 100% of the profit from 1 deal. With intraday strategy, this is hardly possible (except that a miracle will happen).
you clearly have never seen altcoin prices rise aka get pumped!
here are today's "miracles" that are so rare that they happen every day with a new set of coins (at least 5 pumping coins every day) Cheesy

Quote
3. Unlike intra-day trading, you do not need to be a professional, enough to have basic knowledge.
to trade whether it is long term or short term you need to be a professional or at least have some knowledge and enough experience to choose wisely first and act according to market movement second.
otherwise buying and holding random shit is never going to make a "trader".

Not sure if there's a standard to be called as trading or investing itself. As far as I can tell you that investment usually done for years and long term trading itself a planned trade to do buy and selling for certain ( long ) periods. As long as you do it frequently ( buy and sell ) you are trading.
Some people even still thinks that trading no matter it is day trading / scalping etc it's just gambling , yeah in the end everything that has no certain outcome and you only guessing , that's gambling, otherwise when you trade based on real data and predict the price accurately most of the times then it wasn't gambling at all.
Doesn't matter what kind trade you do without any consideration but looking for miracle to get a huge unexpected profit you won't end up in a good way , that's what every beginner should know.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin started its uplift ?? on: May 31, 2018, 10:24:50 PM
1.62% is hardly a price increase to be optimistic about imo.

It goes up and down daily.

I'm a holder so i'm not too interested in these small fluctuations.
Yeah nothing really could make you have a big opportunity to make profit at the current unstable market condition , you get a little profit today but got a bigger loss later and repeat ... That's how weak hands always in disadvantage especially when you know nothing but making money in greedy way. Just watch it for now and set your buy position later on the real up rally.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin has any intrinsic value? on: May 31, 2018, 10:16:01 PM
because bitcoin has these three factors, that's why bitcoin has more value and an intrinsic value than other coins.
The first bitcoin is able to transform the Internet from a data transfer system into a value transfer system. the second is the cost of bitcoin transactions are very cheap even close to 0, providing more benefits for users when compared with the cost of credit card transactions that reach 5% of the total money spent.
the three ease of detecting cheating in the system.
bitcoin is very different from other coins. uniquely, bitcoin developers are promising an increase in bitcoin scalability through a new method named (SegWit) to provide additional space for more transactions. with increased scalability, then the problem of increasing transaction costs is expected to be overcome. bitcoin values are also distinguished from the problem of rising, the cause of the bitcoin price increase is due to the increase in technology promised by bitcoin through system changes and the legalization of bitcoin usage in japan.
