I really wonder to some people who think bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. It has made so many people rich and doing better till now.
But I don't understand the reason behind this type of thought?
Some even think it as a pyramid scheme too because they actually don't know about bitcoin.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency. on: May 24, 2018, 11:38:04 PM
It's because bitcoin is a decentralised currency uncontrolled by anyone which is created only for benefiting people by providing P2P transactions.

Yes Warren is totally wrong about bitcoin as he lacks knowledge about new technologies. It would be better if he just keeps his mouth shut in matters which he doesn't possess any knowledge.

I think that the USD is more broken as it is already in its final phase as global reserve currency.China and Russia have already started to use their own currencies instead of USD for international trade.

97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: May 20, 2018, 10:59:26 PM
Legendary investor Tim Draper is confident that in five years all will use crypto currency. According to Draper, the technological shift that we can observe now will be more significant than the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. Answering the question about how he sees the current situation in comparison with the period when he invested in the technologies of web 1.0 and 2.0, he replied that web technologies and transformed the concept of information, while blocking has the potential to transform almost all industries, including government services.
Future is great for cryptos but still it has drawbacks like being able to use only online. But we should accept that it's the booming industry.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are joking about Bitcoin on: May 20, 2018, 10:55:59 PM
In recent times, some new ICO companies have been kidding about Bitcoin on Twitter, Facebook for their ICO promotion. I think this promotion way is very negative for Bitcoin. They showed that Bitcoin will be destroyed and their token will become number one. They have presented it in such a way that the price of Bitcoin will not rise anymore. I think this type of promotion is  very negative in the market.
I think that they mainly forget that even the altcoins are valued in bitcoin and if bitcoin becomes zero, then the altcoins and their tokens would have to become zero.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme? on: May 20, 2018, 10:50:00 PM
Some term it as a pyramid scheme while some others term it as a ponzi scheme. It's just used to misguide people about bitcoin. But it's not true. It's a decentralized currency and so no one could use it in such a way.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The effect of altcoin on bitcoin? on: May 20, 2018, 10:44:44 PM
Its true that most people buy altcoins and find it as a way to increase their bitcoin holdings. If the number of altcoins increases, definitely it would increase the bitcoin usage.
