81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 30, 2015, 02:40:01 PM
The trick with monero is not when to buy it,

it's when to sell it.

When to see it? From the past performance, it is good time to sell it for the past year. When to buy it? We do not know the price next year.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 30, 2015, 09:41:26 AM
If you have won something for the dice site, just leave for the day. If you want to play again, do it later. It is better to protect some of your profit.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: October 30, 2015, 09:39:59 AM
We can hardly predict the price of what Bitcoin will be in 2 weeks.  I doubt we can predict what it will be in 20 years.  My advice, save some Bitcoin and hope for the best, also have other retirement options as well.  Don't put all your eggs into one basket as the old saying goes.

The stock market always rise in long term. So you can predict safely that it will rise in 20 years. If bitcoin gets used widely, I can predict it will rise in 20 years.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 29, 2015, 06:29:14 PM
haha my strategy was i after i win, i wait for 2 minutes or so then do it again one the same side.my luck is always bigger that method because i mostly win. up until now i have .0082

If you will play betting with 1 satoshi every round that's ok. But attention in the moment when you will (if) bet 2 satoshi. If you will do this you will lose for sure. This amount will be always bigger and bigger and one day (again) for sure you will lose all your winnings. Then you will play with your money to win the money you have lost. And it will be another in the days to come your will lose even your money. No one can win against the casino or the online gamble site in long term.

People can win, and it does happen.  It is just highly unlikely.  There is a huge difference between the two things you are talking about.  By your logic, it is impossible to win the lottery, even though someone wins it almost every day.

Someone wins lottery almost every day. But that specific person cannot win it every day. That is a really big difference.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: [bitcoin/USD market observations] on: October 29, 2015, 10:08:13 AM
Not 100% that was the top, just a ~$10 dump, we're still fighting at $300. We've been shooting up in price for a good amount recently, it was expected to dump over $300 at some point. If $300 can hold for a day, this isn't over.

The price is over $309. The volume is also quite good. We might see $350 by the end of the year. The rise could be due to Gemini effect.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: October 29, 2015, 08:58:14 AM
Its not really easier but different type of risk/reward. In a casino you risk big money to earn big money. In a lottery you are risking pretty much nothing to make millions.

The payout ratio of lottery is much lower than that of most gambling. Maybe the expectation between the time you bought the lottery ticket and the announcement of the lottery results is more rewarding.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 28, 2015, 03:53:10 PM
Currently holding little over 1 btc hoping to get a couple more within two months.

You will be rewarded if you hold it for more than 10 years. Just be patient. Bitcoin rises in long term.
88  Economy / Gambling / Re: Who won the biggest amount of btc on satoshimines.com? on: October 28, 2015, 02:18:14 PM

89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 28, 2015, 02:16:11 PM
The new Ethereum Developer Documentation site is live! Check it out!

https://docs.ethereum.org/

Great timing. After the sudden rise of the last couple of days, things are looking good.

Do you suggest that pumpers know there is some new information to be released, so they pump the price and sell on the news?
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 28, 2015, 08:14:12 AM
There should be a provably fair in every game that users play in. If there isn't, there is no guarantee that the casino isn't cheating and you should not be playing there. Taking Primedice as an example, they have a server seed which is hashed and a client seed which you can set. To get the result, the server seed (determined at the start by server), client seed (determined by user) and nonce which increases by every bet are used to get the result. The result will not change no matter how long you wait.

There is intense competition in gambling market. In order to attract customers, there should be some transparency in the casino.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 28, 2015, 05:48:16 AM
Holding and still buying since I have a good feeling this climb will continue will reach $320

92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 27, 2015, 06:33:13 PM
these times are the best regarding scooping up as many coins as possible. i buy $100 worth of btc per month to increase my total amount of coins.

You will be rewarded by your effort. In 12 years, after 3 more halving, the block reward of bitcoin is 3.125. It is feasible that the bitcoin price to be $250k each.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 27, 2015, 05:00:21 PM

94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 27, 2015, 02:46:17 PM
I dont think that free faucets will give you much profit there especially in dice game because you will never notice it when it gone so quickly but it will be good if you win. If you want to gamble just deposit some of your money to play. Faucet is only for testing the site not using it to win because you can't win using that little amount

Free coins from faucets are useful for testing the gambling site. If you lose, it does not matter too much.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 27, 2015, 02:01:36 PM
I accumulate the bitcoin all the time through mining mainly. I also bought a few. I never sold any. I just used the coin to purchase goods.
96  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Gen Social Gambling Dice Experience | Progressive Jackpot on: October 27, 2015, 10:56:20 AM
I've never seen another gambling site get so much hate & criticism/trolling etc as Da Dice. If you don't like it then please just ignore the site & their threads guys.

Da Dice have been running for a decent amount of time now & nobody has been scammed, nobody has had any major issues.

Seriously it's time to leave them alone to carry out business especially as new owners will be running everything soon.

Maybe an unsatisfied user thinks in a different way and tries to criticize and retaliate. If this person is strong minded. He will keep on doing so.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS [CRE] | SHA256 | SIDECHAIN | NEW BLOCK-DEPOSIT FEATURE | OFFICIAL THREAD on: October 27, 2015, 08:46:23 AM
Hey so I tried downloading the latest windows wallet and everything but for some reason couldn't get no connections at all? Any ideas why that might be?

If it is the latest wallet, you need to download the blockchain first http://credits-currency.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17441

This release of the Credits client WILL NOT RUN with an existing 0.9.1.60 blockchain. If you get errors on block download, you will have to sync from scratch or initialise from a torrent containing a pre-synced working directory that is provided from this site.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: October 26, 2015, 02:27:41 PM
Playing lottery gives me the false feeling that even if I lose the money, the money will go to good causes. So some people keeps on playing. The help people actually get from the lottery fund is very small proportion.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 26, 2015, 09:00:30 AM
I think this is the good strategy but base in your luck. If you have bitcoin captal like 0.05 stimate it how much you can profit with that. If you reach about %20 of that just control your self and dont be greedy. to have a profit everyday....

If you are not so lucky, you will not reach the 20% figure. If you play too long, you will still lose.
100  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: October 26, 2015, 08:39:29 AM
Have a heart attack from the shock.

You will have more heart attacks in the future. Hope you recover every time and enjoy the benefit of bitcoin.
