Check your email.
82  Other / Meta / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: August 18, 2015, 05:31:03 PM
I moved it back to speculation, but I've locked the thread for now.
83  Other / Meta / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: August 18, 2015, 02:13:03 PM
The thread shouldn't have been hijacked in the first place, what a mess. The thread is mostly about XT now, and the only graphs posted are XT related.

It would be a lot of work to split or delete all the XT posts. Splitting is not easy to do in SMF, especially with large threads, and many posts to be split. So that isn't an option.

It could stay in speculation since the majority of the thread is relevant, but all XT chat from here on out to be moderated.

Might be better to just lock the thread since it's so far off track at this point.

84  Other / Meta / Re: Tomatocage finaly replies to my situation, but my reply to him was deleted?! on: August 17, 2015, 01:59:39 PM
What does ndnhc's post have to do with contacting tomatgocage Huh

That thread may have started that way but it's pretty general overall, and it was the thread where it was being discussed (excluding the previous one that's now locked). I also removed the multiple threads he created and asked him to stick to the one he had already made, to further restrict posting in that thread retroactively would not be fair.

I have no intention of stopping people from posting their opinion about whatever, but they do need to do it in the proper place.

I personally find it offensive that someone has been allowed to derail as many threads as they have and write as many off topic posts as they have without consequence.

I want to see the forum itself have as little negative impact on the community as possible. To remove someone from the community entirely because of an issue they have with the forum (and to an extent, default trust) is not something I want to do. If it can be resolved another way, then that is what needs to happen (more moderation, warnings). This isn't always going to be possible unfortunately, and that's something I regret.

Not directed at you, just don't want to make multiple posts.

The constant derailing of threads does need to stop. It's extremely annoying and disruptive. Other people posting about their issues, are just as important as yours. To take the opportunity to use that thread as a soapbox, or to air out your grievances, or to try and make it about your issue, is not acceptable.

I've heard this excuse multiple times so I want to address it, just because you created a thread does not mean you can post off topic there. You do not own a thread because you created it (local thread rules may be applied at the moderator's discretion). Forum rules do still apply, and will be enforced.

lol moderators don't want that someone will write against QS or say in support of tspacepilot, only mine post and I think 1 post of tspacepilot  got deleted. even in this thread there is many off topic posts already.

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

No, I just think you personally are bitter when it comes to the DT list. I still value your input, but in this case I disagree with you. I think the rating by QS is fine.

I don't think rating from QS to tspacepilot is fine, because when we see scammer here in this forum normally there is many negative feedback to scammer but in tspacepilot case only QS think he is scammer even QS was not active on that time on forum.

If that rating was from someone trusted member who were also active on that time when it's happen I can understand why he got negative feedback but from QS i don't think, it's clear case of trust abuse.

Better QS will resolve issue from tspacepilot then keep going on this. It can be resolve easily.

You posted that in this thread, which is about the deletion of an off topic post, not whether you agree with Quickseller's feedback or not.

Ndnhc's post was restored.

I usually don't, I have enough on my plate. That's why I have them in my trust list.

He probably is.

87  Other / Meta / Re: Quickseller and Tomatocage on: August 14, 2015, 09:42:01 AM
You probably don't know this tspacepilot, but you can encrypt messages with multiple recipients using GPG, I was able to decrypt it.

If you're going to ask people to not rush to judgement against Hexcoin, you should do the same for Quickseller and Tomatocage if you want to be taken seriously.

So it appears Satoshi hasn't disappeared after all. see 3rd pic in link below.

https://blogs.office.com/2015/08/12/new-outlook-partner-add-ins-and-expanded-rollout-of-outlook-com-preview/

Still sending emails from his gmx.com account and all.  Wink

Kinda strange that Microsoft would use an example image like that one. Thought I'd just post it here for fun.

He/She/They no longer control that address.

It was hacked a while back, I dont think much useful info came of it though.  Strange though that "he" has been able to secure his identity, and seemingly not care that "he" has millions of btc just kicking around, but he couldnt secure an email address...

GMX support is very vulnerable to social engineering.

That was pretty funny.
90  Other / Meta / Re: After a failed login on a new computer theymos is holding my account hostage??? on: August 13, 2015, 11:05:02 AM
If you emailed, we'll get to it. Posting, emailing more, or pm'ing isn't going to change anything.

I generally only get around to it on weekends.
91  Other / Meta / Re: What should I do? on: August 13, 2015, 04:15:39 AM
Clint most certainly belonged to yenzae originally.

alt of dznuts85? i even dont know that user! providing proof of your accusation will help and maybe it would clear somethings and not like this tagging accounts without providing any valid proof of evidence

Keep it in your own thread please.
92  Other / Meta / Re: Do we have IP bans? on: August 13, 2015, 01:47:01 AM

From what he said recently he wants his main account unbanned and then he'll stop and people can just ignore him if they don't like what he says.

Has it explicitly stated that?

If that is the case then why put up with an avalanche of shit when it can be imprisoned in its original account? Not that I believe it'll stop doing that.

It's not a big deal, it's literally a single button press to ban and delete all the posts. Doesn't really register as an actual concern. Grow some thicker skin would be my advice.
93  Other / Meta / Re: Do we have IP bans? on: August 12, 2015, 05:22:32 AM
Before you guys waste any more time on this, you need to realize that there's a ~95% chance that the things proposed in this thread are exactly what they want. You're being manipulated. They want us to reinstate newbie jail, they want us to crack down on multiple accounts (and account sales), they want us to be more heavy handed in moderation, etc.

Some people think the best way to get rules or policies changed is to abuse them, hoping we'll change our minds.

It's not going to happen.

94  Economy / Lending / Re: .1 loan request for .125 back by 8/13 on: August 12, 2015, 03:44:42 AM
This guy is also devguru, who tried to scam here .

95  Other / Meta / Re: Please ban new account in "Speculation" on: August 11, 2015, 01:27:46 AM
Nuking includes an IP ban, which does increase it. They are usually using unique, unbanned IP's the times I've looked.

Patrol page is handy for newbie spammers. I usually have it open on another monitor with autorefresh going when I'm on.
96  Other / Meta / Re: My banned acc months ago on: August 10, 2015, 10:29:57 AM
No.
97  Other / Meta / Re: Banned in Bitcointalk for 1 month on: August 10, 2015, 05:53:55 AM
I did permaban him after seeing hilariousandco's post. Sad to see a hero member who's been here for a year and a half banned, but if a month ban didn't get the point across, nothing will.
98  Other / Meta / Re: Account Locked. Please unlock. on: August 07, 2015, 06:14:17 AM
I emailed him with simple questions he should know if the account is truly his, no answer yet. Also statements he made about the account earlier in the thread are not true, which is odd.

99  Other / Meta / Re: account locked on: August 07, 2015, 06:11:57 AM
You emailed 3 hours ago, then again an hour ago. You're being unrealistic and impatient.
100  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk is pathetic on: August 06, 2015, 10:46:56 PM
You could always try ignoring them. Too many people focus on the trolls and the negativity.

Life is too short for that kind of nonsense.
