It would appear to me that this was done with a specific batch, if he/she had the private keys for all of the Adam coins, why not just empty them all at once. Especially since it went virtually unnoticed for over a week.

I spoke with JR and this is all news to him after I emailed him. He has personally guaranteed me the funds on the coins will be refunded to me and wants to make things right. They are investigating how this happened. JR said Richard will be posting shortly in this thread. I truly believe they did not purposely scam me or others, but someone somehow got a hold of a handful of private keys from at least a small grouping of coins (18?). I suggest we give them some time to investigate this since I just found out about it and notified them a few hours ago. I believe they will make things right.
Thank you for the update. I suggest they refund us immediately. Personally I could care less about an internal investigation, that's their problem and more time doesn't put the BTC back on our coins.

Keep us updated. I've also shared my # with him as he responded via email. He stated that he will "personally guarantee" the value of the coins. I've requested face value refund.

This is pretty sad, what's the best theory so far as to how the coins were unloaded?
Edit: Will not make personal assumptions yet as to who is responsible.

I purchased two Adams and both have been swept as well, on 2/26. I purchased them in early 2015. I live in US. Will be contacting authorities on Monday.

Well.. there you have it... more proof..... I would recommend anyone who owns one and is an active member on here to open a Scam Accusation thread asap. Also, I have two Joanne's and they are both still holding 1 BTC each, will be cracking them and retrieving BTC. Sad, I really like the coins, now the kids have something more to play with.

I guess since BTC is at an ATH, we can expect more and more of this kind of stuff. Anyway, this has turned me off to physical BTC permanently. Wasn't very much for me, they were pretty cheap at the time, but not happy regardless. I have Richard's email if anyone wants it.

I'm going to assume he doesn't have one until we actually see a photo.

So you are saying you trust someone that is listed on the known list of scammers, and has a victim claiming losses, right in front of you? You are willing to do business with him?
Good luck with that.
It depends on the circumstances. I have purchased several Titan coins and haven't had any issues. I have not tried to redeem them though. I can find at least one person that will say they were scammed by every single BTC company in existence.

SCAM. Don't trust Tim Fillmore. TitanBitcoin is on the list on known scams, I lost 1btc to Tim Fillmore's scam. https://www.titanbtc.com/verify/vFZKfWyJ/Tim has multiple databases tracking "funded" coins, and there is corruption among thoses tables. When you try to redeem the coin, he will find an excuse to not pay you, and then have all his scammer buddies trash your profile reputation, and threaten to call the cops on you and anyone who has ever been in the chain of custody of the physical coin in question. Tim accused me of tampering with my coin, after I opened it. He's a fucking scammer. I contacted the CFTC and the police about Tim Fillmore and his scam, and the CFTC said they are waiting for more reports before they investigate, and they had a TON of questions about his business. Since then I have been contacted by more victims claiming losses from owning Titan Bitcoins that they are unable to "redeem". I advised them to file complaints with the CFTC also. My reputation is trashed though, because I was the first to stand up against Tim, I had about 6 people leave negative reputation marks on my profile in the scam accusation thread, and claim that I'm a thief and a scammer, without ever having met us or being party to that transaction in any way. I had an eyewitness when I unsealed my coin, and both of us are executives at blockchain companies and I have no need to steal a single bitcoin from anyone. The reason I grilled Tim so hard is that I was actually employed as compliance officer at a bitcoin exchange at the time I was robbed by Tim, and I was required by law to report him to various federal authorities. If you'll notice, Titan Bitcoin is listed now, on the list of known scams, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326821.0Was there some kind of dispute as to the owner of the coin when you tried to redeem BTC? Seems weird that Titan would have to approve redemption of any coin, it should just be there to whomever peels the hologram.

Just curious, what do you guys consider the rarest of Casascius coins? I'm looking to start a collection and want to start with the high end. Obviously not considering the 1k coins The rarest is the 1000 BTC 1oz gold round. My personal favorite is the all silver 10 BTC coin, but as far as rarity goes, a good place to start might be the all silver 0.1 or 0.5 coins, or perhaps the 2011 S2 coin without the hologram error. If you want to research this more yourself, here's a good place to start: https://casascius.uberbills.com/Thanks, yeah can't afford (or probably find) the 1000btc, but the 25btc and down is doable.

Last year I bought IOTA from a guy named child_harold here in the forum, he was supposed to send me the IOTA on the legacy wallet. Yesterday I finally tried to claim them but the wallet was empty. Any idea what happened? Scam? IS that guy still around, it looks like he sold to a lot of different people...

If I am not screwing up my timezones I believe the auction started at 09.37 Central Standard Time. Which would put end time at 2-29-2017 09.37 CET. Or 07.37 PST
And since apparently I can't quite grasp the concept of available days in February I will go ahead and amend that to being March 1st at 09.37 CET (a.m.) and not on the non existent Feb 29th. Thanks.

Would you mind posting auction end time in PST? I'm a little confused by when the auction started. Thanks.

Do you still have Silver or Gold coins available?
