81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 11, 2020, 10:09:46 PM
You really shouldn't be here. You clearly have no understanding of what is going on and just want to make a quick buck. Do you enjoy just making things up? Anything you say is law and evidence?
You must have a very inflated ego if you think that your opinion is fact the way you do. Please do your research.

Fiat is way ,more of a ponzi then bitcoin will ever be.
82  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin SCAM on youtube right NOW! on: October 10, 2020, 10:51:27 PM
The video is already down. Goodjob. But honestly, people who fall for this sort of thing are not the most intelligent. If you believe someone else wants to make you rich you live on cloud coo-coo land.
Now if only we could rid youtube of disgusting things like fake animal rescues. There are truly filthy pieces of shit in this world. I am so glad this got taken down so quickly.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 10, 2020, 10:45:45 PM
Who? No sources? Just talking out your neck? Absolute nonsense you are talking right now.

If we have faith in Bitcoin and crypto investment, no matter what it happens our trust remains IMO.
No matter what happens? Even we bankrupt because of trading BTC or other crypto investment? LMAO
I think the best thing to say is that even we have trust in crypto investment, we should also be aware of how it will kill us. Having a desired strategy can ease our problem in investing. The problem with other newbie investors is that they think that BTC will always go up whenever there is a bullish momentum. But when they trapped because of their greediness, they are always regret at the end of it. Having a trust to bitcoin is good but having strategy in buying or selling is much better.

People like that shouldn't be buying bitcoin and should just sell it and never come back. Bitcoin is for visionaries and believers, not money-grabbing fiat worshipers. Rather just invest in the technology and use it. Forget about the value of bitcoin.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and taxes buying goods and items with btc tax free on: October 10, 2020, 10:39:51 PM
Just sales tax. No income tax because crypto is not money and not given to us by the government so they have business telling us how to use it. It's that simple. If the government has a problem with it then they should open up their own crypto wallets but they won't because then we can trace our tax money and reveal the corruption.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 09, 2020, 03:41:37 PM
You're a twit. Please explain to me what exactly does "approved" mean. Do I need approval from the government to do everything? So there must be a written law in place for every possible action people take?
There is nothing to prove. You are totally clueless and know nothing about the law or much else it seems. You're little Smiley at the end of your comment just shows you are a troll and not a very clever one at that.

Get this into your head. The government is not a god. You don't need the approval to do anything. I can use crypto even if it is a crime they cannot prevent you. You are utterly mindless
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good Morning from a Non-Bitcoiner on: October 05, 2020, 01:59:38 PM
Cryptocurrency = power. Beyond the control of anyone. Noone can take your crypto from you and you are 100% in control. Your hard earning money/funds/cash is yours and you should have every right to use a method of exchange you find fit. If you ask me having methods totally outside the slimy hands of government sounds great to me. Tax you say? No problem! I would rather donate my crypto to well-deserving institutes then give it to a corrupt government. If every crypto user donated the same amount they made from tax the world would be a much better place and more people would have jobs, more animals would be protected, less people would go hungry. There is no need for a government if we all take part in the distribution of wealth among ourselves in order to create a better world us all. Too much money is wasted by the government fighting wars we don't want to even support. Fighting crimes we don't really even care about it and other senseless expenditure of money that gives that taxpayer nothing in return.

Would you rather give your hard-earned fiat to a corrupt government that just prints out new money they see fit?

Or donate your hard-earned crypto to a worthy cause that betters humanity and provides us the infrastructure we need to survive and 100% traceable expenditure of everything so its all 100% public knowledge?

87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin illiteracy due to online exchanges on: October 05, 2020, 01:52:32 PM
It's not the exchanges responsibility to teach these things. Their reusability is to protect your account and info as well as themselves. They are there to provide a service not hold your hand.
The golden rule of anything is never partaken in something unless you understand what is going on or are willing to learn from any mistake you make. This has never even crossed my mind because how can someone use an exchange but not understand crypto? You work hard for your money and now you want to risk it in something you don't understand? It just makes no sense to me.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you're making bitcoin complicated on: October 04, 2020, 01:01:59 PM
Signature campaigns are not really a way to make bitcoin. Instead, it is a way to support altcoins and gain some in return instead of investing. It should be seen rather as a supportive investment than a method of making bitcoin. It's better to work online if you plan on making bitcoin. There many options available it's up to you.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear on: October 03, 2020, 10:06:38 PM
I was watching a movie the other day called "hustle" it is about scam cons and scam artists. In it, the one girl owns half a million dollars worth of bitcoin and talks about it many times throughout the movie.
It was pretty cool  Cheesy

as a fan of the big bang theory series, I think that this series is the closest representation of us (at least me).
they are nerds, tech geeks, and enthusiasts.
I believe that the early members of this forum were here because of the technology too, they were enthusiastic about a new thing.
you guys, should watch that series.

Everyone should watch the big bang theory it's so good. I love it! Lol then that dumb ass solt it on the batman memory stick for a few $$ HAHAHAHA!!!
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French police arrest terror financing ring that used Bitcoin coupons on: October 03, 2020, 10:02:28 PM
Bitcoin is a currency.
Any currency can be used for evil means.

Dont terrorists and drug dealers use USD as well?
Bitcoin is just a currency.

Exactly. Just like any object can be used as a murder weapon. Criminals will use everything at their disposal. Terrorists using tabacco shops to fund whatever they doing sounds hilerous and strange to me at the same time.

I do believe these kind of people don't understand a simple thing " Bitcoins was made for the people so that they can finally get away from the oppression of big companies and the government itself, thud if they do any harm to the image of bitcoins , they are not gaining profit in any way , nor they are causing problems for anyone , but for them "

These kind of people cannot even appreciate an invention that was made for the people to gain some power. Especially associating bitcoins with terrorism is beyond irreparable.

This is why government wants everyone to do KYC and such even for the most private wallets !

Goverment wants you to pass KYC? For what? Which goverment? Maybe insane ones. Good luck with that.

91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The meme that started it all - "Magic internet money Join Us!" on: September 27, 2020, 07:45:13 PM
Who made the updated version?
It reminds me of a scene from The Lord of the Rings when Gandalf stood in front of the Balrog at the Bridge of Khazad Dum. I like it very much. Smiley

I was thinking the same thing. LOTR is definitely a great influence in this artist's work but I wish the OP would put the artist's name and source here. I wonder what other work the artist has done and if any more of it is bitcoin related? Man, that would look cool on a shirt don't you think?
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the ideal currency of the future? on: September 26, 2020, 11:55:44 PM
Probably not the ideal currency cause :
1. not stable value
2. deflationnist money.
But I think in the Future, people will think Bitcoin (2010 decade) was an important money historic breaking point.

"deflationnist money." really? Many fiat currencies only go down in value since they were invented. Go do your homework.

Well considering the rate at which fiat and paper currencies are disappointing, bitcoin seems a good option, but even bitcoin is affected by price volatility, it would be a perfect fit if it is a stable coin, my opinion though

You right. Some fiat currencies have only performed badly but people seem to think that the might USA and pound are the only currencies in existence. Many countries from third worlds have fiat which is worthless and becomes more so every day. Bitcoin is more stable then these fiat currencies if you compare them. I would rather have something that goes up and down then something that generally just goes down. and rarely goes up.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Scams and Government on: September 26, 2020, 11:50:22 PM
If you stupid enough to believe people are going to give money away then you deserve to be scammed I am sorry. This doesn't make crypto look bad at all. All the crypto scams have fiat versions too.
Investments and some banks also scam people and then go under. This happens in the fiat world too. It's almost like some people think scams never existed until bitcoin.

they've mentioned about creating their own cryptocurrency and assured of 30% - 40% return monthly.
I don't know, but why even today, people tend to invest in this kind of scam. People are easily deceived and being scammed because they continue to do such thing as investing and having ROI monthly. There is no such thing as investing and having a guaranteed return without doing anything. Not only in crypto space, even in real world, people should realize it that earning money is not easy as that.
Scammers have the same concept, they keep on promising a sure return every month at a specific percentage, people should know this trick and even if they said they are government approved, you still have to do your own research. There’s a lot of crypto scam, don’t get fooled easily and have your right knowledge always.

Well firstly to being with you should never ever believe any place that says they government-approved being there is no such thing. Crypto space is the real world what are you talking about?
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is proposing a new law to declare cryptowallets or be fined, go to jail on: September 26, 2020, 11:45:54 PM
This will backfire. If you pay taxes in crypto then you can trace is and find how corrupt the government is when you see your crypto go into the pockets of the true criminals.

They legalizing and understand that Cannabis should be allowed to be consumed and used all over the world and now they want to go backwards with a bill like this? No one will take this seriously or sign it. It is a joke!
If people are becoming more understanding these days then what kinds of monster woulf agree to such laws.

What sort of demented psycho wants to put another person into a cage? Esspecially for something none voilent.

If you not paying tax on crypto guess what? The government can do nothing. You earning a currency made by the people there is nothing to pay tax on. There is no money laundering that would require money. THrey honestly such a bunch of idiots.

We living in a world where one human being wants to throw another human being into a cage for 3 fucking years for using crypto. Thats sick. The person making this bill needs serious help.

I want to see russian come do something about me dealing with Russian transactions. If I am running an exchange the can fuck right off. I would never give the personal info of my users no matter who asks. Arrest me!!  Tongue Kiss

Talking about evading taxes what about goverment curroption? How about we actually go full on crypto and pay tax in crypto and then the goverment must spend that crypto so it can be traced and fianlly our tax money will not be stolen since it can be tracked so please Russia bring this law in then we can expose your currupt government.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America now treats BTC and ETH as Cash on: September 21, 2020, 07:43:22 PM
The source is a reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/hi78v4/cryptocurrency_is_considered_a_cash_equivalent/

It honestly isn't the best type of source to verify a claim. The submission has now been removed by mods. Perhaps it was even a suspected fake.
If true, we shouldn't rush to consider this good news. A probable cause of this decision could be that it was done to deter abuse of card benefits programs. Right now there are some services that allow you to buy crypto with cards without extra cost. This could be used to rack up miles on a bonus program. This was done also when the FED was selling coin stacks for CC payments for free. Banks were quick to catch up of course.

Whether or not considering BTC cash will have any positive effects related to this bank remains to be seen.
What about taxes? If Bitcoin is indeed considered cash, people should only pay the income tax when they get income in BTC, correct? The currently regulations, however, impose additional taxes such as Capital Gains Tax. I can see that low-level news websites already made articles about this information, but it seems that up to now there's only this reddit post you've mentioned as a source. So yeah, probably fake news... And even if the Bank of America wanted to treat cryptos as money, I doubt they are authorized to do so without proper legislation. And only a year ago, they compared cryptos to stocks without allowing purchases of either via their credit cards.

Finally someone with a brain!! Thank you, my good man. Yes!! Exactly. Crypto can never my cash. Cash is cash. Cash is actually physical notes. If you asked if you are paying with cash can you whip your phone out and pay with bitcoin? Nope because cash is physical. Yes, correct. Unless the government has its own cryptocurrency addresses to pay tax into you don't pay tax because it's not money its a currency we as the people developed. However, if you trade from crypto to fiat and use the fiat system then you will have to pay tax on that.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: September 21, 2020, 07:31:09 PM
If you have a weak local currency that loses value often then keeping your money with bitcoins might be a better choice. YOu also won't need to pay banking fees and things like that. Though if you live in a country where the currency is weak you might not have that many options to spend it. I don't think you should look at bitcoin as investing in the traditional sense of the word. More like investing your interest in another form of currency.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin be introduced into the educational sectors on: September 20, 2020, 09:16:14 PM
I think teaching people about money and generally how to make money is a better place to start. In school, you get out when you about 18 and you know nothing. You don't know how to pay bills fill forms take loans or run business since you were never taught. Luckily you get economics classes in schools and that is a great start and I think after we meet the basics of teaching the fundamentals of money in society then we can move nto bitcoin and digital currencies.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 seed words + passphrase on: September 20, 2020, 09:02:41 PM
18 characters alone is insane protection. Most passwords people use online are 6-12 digits. Using #$ upper and lower case makes it close to impossible. People don't hace your passwords directly they find them on your hdd or if you backup online or social engineering. There is no magical way to guess a password and there is not a program that can magically find passwords. Added to the fact you have the keyphrases. It's basically impossible to hack. I can't even remember what to buy when I fo the groceries so you could basically tell me your 12-word key and I would forget it while you were saying it...
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why has no-one done a crypto Ebay? on: September 20, 2020, 08:58:07 PM
There are market places that you can pay bitcoin or crypto with. They do not accept it directly though, they usually handle it through a third party payment processor much like bitpay works.
It would not be legal and more of a black market kinda thing. The government would probably scrutinize the shit out of it.
Your vision is good and indeed it might be the future but man bitcoin has a long, long way to go before there can be sites like these. It could be a thing in niche crypto markets where its legal though.
By the way, you can buy gift cards kinda stuff via Bitcoin.

You already get legal markets you can spend bitcoin on -_- There are many things you can buy with bitcoins.

First of all, a "crypto Ebay" would not be feeless. Handling with Bitcoin costs always fees.
Secondly, crypto Ebay's already exist in the Dark Web. There you can find many marketplaces and Ebay clones where you can buy all things and stuff (legal and illegal) with Bitcoin and cryptos like Monero.
Maybe OP didn't know about it or had forgotten about how crypto became famous in the dark web for something like that,
And we still carry it till this day because some still see's crypto or Bitcoin only as a money for illegal activities because it was once known for that purpose.

99.9999% of crime is done using fiat.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What area of bitcoin participation is easiest to work with? on: September 14, 2020, 12:09:50 AM
Well mining stocks have been doing better then bitcoin here is proof https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5268287.0
You can get these stocks for as little as $5.75 and just have a look at that chart Smiley I think if you have extran crypto you should defiently seriously consider investing in some stocks. It's like an extra layer of earning on to of just holding bitcoin. Much better than having your funds sitting in the bank.
