81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to roll-back Ordinals? on: November 08, 2023, 07:10:53 PM
Ah the dynamic duo of trolls is back, the only solution is add both to the ignore list. DooMAD and darkangel11 won't say anything useful or meaningful regarding this matter and just deny everything. They have to be paid (by you know who) to troll like this all this year...
82  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Atascado! no, ¿atascado? si, no confirmado. on: November 08, 2023, 04:55:30 PM

83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to roll-back Ordinals? on: November 08, 2023, 04:46:53 PM
Sorry bitcoin transactions, people are paying more to spam the blockchain, and a pool with dubious practices is so happy to push them, of course, their altcoin / nft interests are well above Bitcoin, in fact they don't like Bitcoin to be so good, so they are happy to do this.

Gets priority over people sending money home from abroad, or paying for bills, food, and stuff. Who knows, maybe banks ripple etc are behind this...

Yeah there is no rolling back, what was proposed back in February when the publicly demonstrated exploit occurred, was to take measures to make it more difficult to spam the blockchain. But no, devs looked the other way like nothing happened. And here we are, the "nothing" returned. Even if it fades again later, than even later will return, and the cycle never ends.

How long will the spam storm last? How long until people denounce those involved? etc. If you are pro Bitcoin, boycott those people.
84  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My s19 90th model is not working properly please help!!! on: November 07, 2023, 02:28:01 PM
It smells more like PSU issue to me... When you said "tried with another PSU", you must be specific what PSU model it came with and what PSU model you are trying it with. You can't simply swap PSUs from the "S19" series around as there are incompatible combinations.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you for or against ordinals? on: November 07, 2023, 01:25:39 PM
Ordinals just showed the way how to abuse Bitcoin, others found out and built a business around spamming Bitcoin with trash for some cash, especially companies that newer were Bitcoiners in the first place and don't care or actually prefer that Bitcoin goes down to favor their own altcoins/nfts...
Remember that while common folk can't use Bitcoin for what it was invented for, others push trash for cheap since the protocol allows it. This whole year devs looked the other way, like it was nothing. Exploit clearly demonstrated, nothing was done about it, and here we have it again, it never went away.
A pool that uses its resources for dubious "trading" activities, is more than willing to spam Bitcoin for some liquidity that lets them play more casino...
87  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Atascado! no, ¿atascado? si, no confirmado. on: November 07, 2023, 12:55:35 PM

88  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S17 produce only discarded shares on Braiins with stock firmware on: November 07, 2023, 12:42:43 PM
To a single miner of a single user? Hardly. But then again, this is not the pool section, so whatever. I know who we should not trust, someone that celebrates Bitcoin is spammed again so nobody can transact except pools pushing spam to the blockchain.
89  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Whatsminer M30S+ Immersion Firmware/OS on: November 06, 2023, 03:13:53 PM
No need. Stock fw exists for immersion (no fan checks), you just need to ask them for it and forfeit warranty if its still under it.

There are links and instructions for using the new braiins-toolbox in the first message of the thread.
91  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Flashing control Board S9 to R4 on: October 22, 2023, 06:50:12 PM
Needs to use the old trick of using "t9+ -SD Tools.zip" to remove the signed only fw or use one of the unlockers...
92  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: testing epic controller. on antminer s19xp on: October 22, 2023, 06:14:32 PM
Do the math against 97.5% of the Real Hashrate as shown in Braiins OS if you want to compare against "no dev fee"
And don't forget pool fees... Its 0 in Braiins Pool.

93  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer s19k_pro - no sd card slot? on: October 21, 2023, 10:59:34 AM
I have only seen this miner with C74 (Zynq) same one used in some S19A. This control board has two fan plugs that are thicker, to acomodate higher amps. I would not advise changing this control board and keep using the same fans with some adapter, you may burn it.

It is NOT supported in Braiins OS+ yet, work is currently in progress. As always, any new miner model/variation needs to be carefully studied and tested to have a reliable clean implementation.

The faster others release, the more you should worry about them taking shortcuts. But its your miners at risk, YMMV...
94  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: testing epic controller. on antminer s19xp on: October 21, 2023, 10:54:18 AM
Trust me, you don't want to overheat XPs. If you think its like the j Pro, think again...
95  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Braiins OS+ support thread on: October 21, 2023, 10:19:54 AM
Looks like unsupported variant, or it can't read the EEPROM for some reason, bad cable connection, corrupted eeprom, etc. Try swapping the ribbon data cables.

SD cards can't be SDXC or later thanks to Bitmain. Just SDHC or SD; in layman terms, 16g max (a few 32g may work, nothing bigger).

97  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin claims successful test of nuclear-powered ‘global-range’ cruise missile on: October 10, 2023, 02:00:03 AM
You mean, like the hypersonic cruise missile that was supposed to be unstoppable but Ukraine successfully stopped, after which Putin enraged ordered imprisonment of everyone involved? This hyper corrupt country couldn't even land a probe on the moon like the soviets did, it would be a miracle if the things don't detonate at the launch site, most are decades old technology they no longer maintain or are able to.

Sub-orbital launches are far more efficient and faster if the objective is delivering payload from one continent to another, than flying all the way and hoping to remain undetected.

And don't get me started on the "military exercise" that was supposed to last only "a few of days"...

Hispo got things backwards...

Fusion has long been demonstrated for mass destruction, doing it in a way that doesn't obliterate everything around it has been the tricky part. Fusion energy does not open the door for mass killing, because that was already demonstrated (Tzar bomba, etc). The event you mention is the ignition which theoretically generated more energy than that used to start it, except it actually didn't but demonstrated it could.

What has this to do with Putin's V1 wonder weapon? Nothing really. Fusion energy is only for pacific purposes, non pacific purposes were achieved way back in the 50ies...
98  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Israeli - Palestinian conflict worsen the crisis? on: October 10, 2023, 01:31:38 AM
This is a pointless conflict. Hamas can never win, and Israel can only kill more innocents just to try to hit a few combatants.
I guess the only ones who win are arm dealers. Palestine can never work as a country, what the UN has on paper is a bad joke designed to never ever work. In practice, it is the rule of Israel, but Israel is doing something strange, they didn't finish conquering the place and kept those sort of open prison / ghettos to shoot at like fish in a barrel every so often.

So Hamas kept quiet, piled a bunch of rockets then launched them all at the same time, they got some people in Israel, then what? Can they take Jerusalem or some other city? They can't so what was the point of this? Avenge martyrs creating more martyrs? Israel as usual will just carpet bomb that strip and other spots. Last time i remember they used that internationally banned chemical weapon called white phosphor (just like Russia did in Ukraine), they even killed their own soldiers in their overpowered operations, but still didn't achieve the objective to "disarm/eliminate" all combatants.

Iron Dome was probably designed for hundreds but not thousands of missiles. They can make a better system able to deal with thousands and the opposition will try ten thousand, it never ends. Actually, you can add drones now. Israel has way more military power than several other much larger countries, this is why any sort of "response" ends demolishing buildings and killing thousands of civilians.

After yet another mountain of corpses, Hamas will stop, because most of them end killed or just ran out of ammo. Israel on the other hand, can keep going, and going and going but will stop only after they see no more attacks (for the aforementioned reason) and declare it another "victory"...

That land is not worth it. Some people want to paint it religiously but it really isn't. It might sound surprising but the Zionist project is in fact political and its original proposal even had two alternative locations. Jerusalem may be contested by Abrahamic religions but not the rest of the country, and religious people would probably not care who rules as long as they are allowed their rites in peace with each other.

If you are on telegram you can see tons of uncensored videos with this nonsense carnage.
