562  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Braiins OS+ support thread on: December 10, 2022, 03:37:29 PM
Well i don't know about zergpool but zpool and mining-dutch did work in the past. Maybe there is a different port for sha-256 asicboost so check your pool documentation.
563  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S19 Pro pause hashing API on: December 09, 2022, 07:20:47 PM
We do have API pause resume.
564  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Stop fans from going 100% at startup (Braiins OS+) on: December 09, 2022, 07:13:54 PM
6 months behind? You do nothing, the hardware is supported in the thing you are modding. And your work is useless to non modders.
This is the last message addressed to the vnish gang, from now own i will never engage with them again no matter the flamebait, enough is enough.
565  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S9 cards only run on older FW? BrainsOS fails on them?? on: December 09, 2022, 06:35:31 PM
Because according to you now i need "education". But what you have years doing is insulting and abusing others in this forum and you have stated countless times its the only reason you come here for.

Like i told you before, its not about being able to run your fw, no one cares about that. Yes, that efuse is for signed boot, no i didn't learn it from you, its all in your dreams, you think you made everything when you did nothing.
566  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Stratum V2 it’s happening! on: December 09, 2022, 03:12:50 PM
Hey kano, taserz is now happy tree friends with you, you gotta love it. Not like he is infringing your copyright or anything...

It looks like you are focused in a pool luck situation (again), well go to the thread of that pool and discuss it there. Guess what, other pools have implemented it, since its been out there for years and independent parties released a reference implementation.

No one stops you from obtaining such implementation and pointing the developers (not Braiins) of the issues. But seeding FUD is cheaper than reading code and pointing specific flaws.

Those "me too" obvious fake users that add nothing to this discussion will be removed.

What is happening? Adoption, that is what.
567  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S9 cards only run on older FW? BrainsOS fails on them?? on: December 09, 2022, 03:03:41 PM
Yes, that is exactly how you call the people that follow your advice "dumb". And you are the one pretending to be a "professional" now, but you are always the same...

Of course you want them to be chained to you, it triggers the eFuse, its all about blocking the install of Braiins OS+. Basically a human (social engineered) variant of those old Russian/Chinese malware that did it to S9s with default passwords.
568  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Braiins OS+ support thread on: December 09, 2022, 02:23:15 PM
You can't put that space in the password.

In other news, as demonstrated in the past, Braiins OS+ has reached the efficiency of the next generation:

First the S9 reached the S11 (74 J/TH ARGFA).
Then the S17 reached the S19 (29 J/TH Bas Laurier).
Now the S19 reaches the XP (20 J/TH Sadnudbi).
* These were all shared by users in our Telegram support group.

It was set to Power Target 1616, HOT temp changed to 60C and Dangerous to 70C with dynamic scaling enabled with a step of 200W.

Theoretically with two of these you can surpass the XP:

Single XP 127T 2730W
Two jPros: 128.6T 2686W

Efficiency matters. Profile shortcuts provided by crude mods that pretend to "invent" autotune will never cut it.
569  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Stop fans from going 100% at startup (Braiins OS+) on: December 02, 2022, 06:36:43 PM
Braiins OS+ has not a single whitelabel. Yet vnish has many names. We don't add fees, partners get a cut from the dev fee itself. You should learn from that instead of summing fees on top of fees... And more importantly, Braiins wrote bosminer from scratch and actually works to support the hardware directly, unlike you who leech on the work of others. So where is your lie that you don't post here anymore huh? Always lies, that's you. This thread was not for you, it clearly says Braiins OS+, move on to your vnish threads.

Unless you are vnish, i have never had any dm with you, ever. And you are currently blocked so... peculiar comment.
No, the definition of troll is someone who enters a discussion to go against what is being discussed. So if it is about baseball, you go there to tell them baseball sucks, that's what a troll is, nothing to do with appearance, but your own attitude to the main topic.

This is why I am not searching where someone talks about vnish to remind them of how terrible it is to use it, but here you are.

And yes, fans spin to 100% when they get power, and there is NOTHING you can do about it, until the control board kicks and controls it.
570  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Stop fans from going 100% at startup (Braiins OS+) on: December 02, 2022, 06:11:13 PM
So you have good photoshop skills? But I like how you think I am papa vnish you realize how dumb you look right now right? I am sorry you still have your racist tendencies and take it out on me because you think I am Vnish but it has to stop. You harass my customers and your own for saying something that is correct that you don't agree with. You are probably that person that has to always be right and well. I am sorry for you. Their was a kid a few streets over growing up that was like that. We stopped hanging out with him because of that. Also because he tried to do the dirty with a dog. Yeah he was a weirdo. You are reminding me of him.

I don't harass any customers because unlike you, i don't join your groups to troll people. You are distributing pirated software and that is an established fact you cannot run away from. Anyone even considering using it should be warned about it.

You made the mistake of dropping a threat and then delete it, in a group i happen to be admin of, so that's how i got it. User vnish did it directly via dm. You two talk way too similar, but if you are or not the same person, i don't care and doesn't change things.

You are so used to attack Kano, one of the developers of the software you keep infringing that you seem to have misplaced the so called "racist" rhetoric to me as well. And yet, you keep selling stolen goods while attacking and trolling just because you didn't like it. Now you want to show a "serious face" yeah, right.

And what can you do about it? Stop selling what is not yours, and actually make something that is yours to sell. In the meantime there is nothing more to say to you. You are yet to graduate from the warez/serialz/crackz scene.

Vnish is banned from Bitcointalk, and banned from Discord, and who knows from where else. How do you think someone earns that? You just pretend to resell that mod using names and many whitelabels with extra fees attached, of course.

OP opened this thread mentioning Braiins OS+, What is marc.to/taserz even posting here? You came to troll, because that's what you always do.
This is also the reason i created a self-moderated thread so we can focus in the actual support issues and remove the trolling and off topic talk.
571  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S9 cards only run on older FW? BrainsOS fails on them?? on: December 02, 2022, 04:11:32 PM
You still infringe on cgminer, so there is nothing to say to the likes of you, except: cease and desist. For someone who "doesn't post here" you keep coming. Yes you have made people brick their C52 with that "advise" of yours. What you actually want is to trap people into your mod. No one cares if your illegal mod works with C52, you told them "they are the same", and someone believed in you and tried factory fw and bricked it thanks to you.

You do not understand the hardware because you never code for it. You are modding cgminer and add crap around it which in turn was modded by the manufacturer from who knows what code base (old ck or current kano?). That is why you are so ignorant. You pretend you are not vnish, but you talk like you are behind it. Who has been telling lies here? It is only you.

The sad thing is you keep saying everyone copies from you. That would be a super deadly trap, your work is useless AND illegal. America is the land of lawyers so someday someone will sue, especially if a public traded company makes the mistake of touching your "product".
572  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Stop fans from going 100% at startup (Braiins OS+) on: November 22, 2022, 03:27:40 PM
I usually come on here to mess with Kano

I have saved messages/screenshots of the threats coming from both vnish/marc.to In Telegram.

You don't care about helping your own users or developing your own software, you only bother going elsewhere to troll, and with that you now expect seriousness from you? After all those years of non stop trolling. I gave you plenty of chances, yet your childish attacks never cease.

There is nothing hot headed about telling the truth, too bad you/vnish can't help it and feel threatened. Did you actually made a company based on pirated software? Good luck with that... cgminer is not yours, and it never will. You can only use it legally if you release the source code of the modifications you did to it. Instead, bosminer belongs to Braiins. Deal with it.
573  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S9 cards only run on older FW? BrainsOS fails on them?? on: November 22, 2022, 03:05:19 PM
I knew it was you, you are always making fake users everywhere.

BeagleBone Black is garbage, period. Underpowered low ram single core cpu.  We do true autotuning and its multithreaded, you don't because you can't since its not your software. It is a sad thing you keep the lies up, this confuses the people that leave vnish for Braiins OS thinking your lies were true and are utterly wrong and we have to tell them again and again that, no, what vnish does has nothing to do with what we do.

Exactly like when you spread the lie about C52 being "the same" as C55 and have people bricking their control boards with x19 factory firmware. So my only word of advise is never trust anything coming from vnish/marc or whatever fake user of the day they decide to make (its simple: we don't send "people" to troll to their groups while they can't never stop from doing that).

The day you write your own mining software and remove cgminer, we can say something remotely resembling a "competition" can start. In the meantime, you have nothing. That is what i meant. Now get to work and remove cgminer if you don't want to be seen as a 3 person basement operation trolling/loling your poor misguided users forever.

575  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Ledger y Trezor - Black Friday (a la espera aún) on: November 22, 2022, 02:25:36 PM
Saturados porque algunos apenas acaban de descubrir que tener bitcoins en exchanges es como no tenerlos... Pero podrían ir a visitarlos en Praga, linda ciudad Smiley
576  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: ¿Alguien sabe qué mierdas está pasando? on: November 22, 2022, 02:18:53 PM

577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it take to run a full node? on: November 21, 2022, 03:41:54 PM
Instructions to run a full node:

Download the Bitcoin Core wallet

Open it.

Done.

Yes really, this is the simplest way. If you know a bit more about computers, you can just run bitcoind using cli only in Linux. Like others said, all you need is disk space. A full node helps new nodes start, that is the main difference from pruned nodes, you need about half a gig today but better put a 1tb hd so it lasts before going full.

Running a full node helps others start theirs. Running a node (full or pruned) helps the network be more safe and robust. Bitcoin is a "cloud" and each node is a part of it. If a node fails the others take the load, so the more nodes the better for everyone.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will CBDCs will impact Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2022, 03:31:42 PM
So, how do you guys think will affect Bitcoin?

CBDC is digital fiat, so its actually worse than cash. In short, they want to create money without spending in paper and ink, i know very well as my country has been doing it for years and even made the first State backed crypto (a CBDC before the acronym was invented) which was an absolute failure (they themselves don't use it despite their propaganda).

Just as current fiat doesn't realty affect bitcoin, neither will this. CBDCs are NOT an alternative to Bitcoin, they miss all the fundamental features that make bitcoin more valuable. Its only alleviating the State from spending in printing and custody of physical banknotes.
579  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Stop fans from going 100% at startup (Braiins OS+) on: November 21, 2022, 03:19:45 PM
Like i said, its nonsense. Apparently you can just warn reboot the control board but you can never do it from cold as power reaches the fan before the fw has a chance to do anything. We never copied anything from you because everything you tried sucked (and involved modding cgminer anyway), yeah in 2019 all you did and see was thrown away since bosminer was developed and cgminer removed completely.

Of course because you can't do things efficiently, you want people to do the useless mod. Braiins OS+ has much better efficiency using two S9s with no modding. Because you take shortcuts with "profiles" you will never reach peak efficiency for the specific miner. Besides you are messing with software that is not yours and unexpected things do occur like when you were blaming Kano for memleaks caused by yourselves. Which is why you need to restart cgminer or even reboot before everything freezes, and hence that silly "idea" of dropping fan speed when doing that...

So its a patch over a patch over patch. Just why do you think Braiins did the hard work you never did despite you charging much more money all these years? Get to work and drop cgminer already, its been 3 years and yet all you keep doing is trolling and laughing at others in public and insulting and threatening in private while doing no work.

I have told vnish and i tell it to you in case your are not the same person: Get to work and stop the FUD campaign. Until you replace cgminer you are pirating software, this is a true fact and you can say nothing against it, that is what you are selling.
580  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: HELP -BMminer Version and Harware Version not found? Ebay purchase?? on: November 20, 2022, 02:33:02 PM
You don't need to "install" Braiins OS to try it, just run directly from SD, no need to touch NAND ever.

You should go with Braiins OS+ which is very simple, you really only need to set up the pool and set a lower power limit value (such as 1280W).

With manual values you can easily damage your machine if you are not careful. Defaults should work but for testing you should at least lower the speeds (defaults to 650Mhz). Remember that there is no support with the community edition, you are on your own.

Considering you are using Braiins Pool you should go with Braiins OS+, since the 2% pool fee is returned to you when you use Braiins OS+ with it.

This won't happen with the Community edition or other firmware, you have to pay the pool fee, in essence you are paying the same without the efficiency gain if you don't use Braiins OS+ so it makes no sense not to use it.

Again, to test Braiins OS+:

Flash the sd card in a PC
Move jp4 and insert card
Use it with a web browser

Of course the hashboards may have some issue. If you use Braiins OS+ you can send a ticket and attach the support (From Quick Actions > Get Help > Download) file for inspection.
