801  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] AgoraDesk.com | Buy ♻️ Sell Bitcoins Anonymously! on: July 01, 2023, 08:51:00 PM
Just a question:
How do you deal with disputes using the cash by mail option?
What about if I receive fake banknotes

It perhaps never happened but the risk is not 0% and harder to deal with compared to others options
I believe it would be handled just like any other dispute, where the admin would step into the chat and ask for both parties to present their pieces of evidence before they make a fair decision.

If one as a buyer or seller carefully follow the laid out instruction (Staying Safe With Cash by Mail) in case a dispute arises, they will have more than enough evidence to present to the mediator.
802  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] SCAM BITTREX Exchange Website [Don't Connect Wallet] on: July 01, 2023, 08:29:12 PM
Nice catch OP. Given that domain was just updated a day before, it means that you have exposed them even before spreading their scam to any potential victims

It is a phishing link that you may report to Namecheap with all the evidence or contact the support team to contact Namecheap and it will be deleted, the problem is that these sites are created faster than they are closed so it is a long way to prevent it all.
Namecheap is sort of slow in shutting down such sites, but it's worth a try

803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: June 30, 2023, 09:57:45 PM
Sergio Ramos to Sevilla? Well I would ask, how likely is the transfer to occur?
Sevilla need defenders, of course and if Ramos joins them then Sevilla's defense might be even better. Ramos is one of the best centre-backs who has represented Real Madrid and Spain in many competitions, of course he has also won many titles in his career.
Despite his age, I think he would be a great addition to Seville's defense. With the experience he has gained over the years especially from the la Liga and on top of his very good fighting spirit and Leadership skills, I don't see why this should be a bad deal for both parties as Ramos would be looking to wind down his colorful career
804  Economy / Lending / Re: LF loaning until 1st july on: June 30, 2023, 09:51:45 PM
It's now almost 1st July, I hope you did not die because you couldn't secure the loan. You have a higher chance of getting help from friends and family rather than from a forum where you just registered, and your first post was about getting a no collateral loan.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reborn or legacy of Bitcointalk – looking for ideas on: June 30, 2023, 08:58:53 PM
Trust me, many crypto forums have been created, but no is close to how active or clean Bitcointalk is. Maybe Reddit can try. You won't find a cesspool of scam in this forum like you would find in forums like beermoneyforums

Obviously, numbers have dwindled because the spammers and account farmers have been fought against so hard, but if you want quality over quantity. The Bitcointalk is worth looking into. You have to understand the main reason bitcointalk was created. To discuss Bitcoin. The other forums came in later when altcoins were created. Ethereum, the biggest altcoin created their own forum and moved away from Bitcointalk and created their own forum... Guess where it is today - https://wayback.archive-it.org/16516/20210618210825/https://forum.ethereum.org/
806  Other / Meta / Re: "The user whose profile you're trying to view does not exist" on: June 29, 2023, 09:20:33 PM
My Bitcointalk account keeps logout even if I click that remember me box when I close the Bitcointalk tab and turn off WiFi.
This happens because you logged into your account using another device or browser during that time when you closed your first bitcointalk tab. That's why they always ask you to login again when you open the browser and Visit the Bitcointalk link.

The bad news could be that someone else using another device is accessing your account without your knowledge. Try to check your account's IP address history

@OP, I think the error message that you get is when you are on the middle of creating a thread while your account get logout due to inactivity. This happened to me many times because I’m very slow to create a thread.
That error is usually different from the one stated by the OP.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: June 29, 2023, 08:54:58 PM
The easiest time to buy is actually in the bear market as almost all colors of shitcoins can still pump in the bull market, but I prefer to avoid coins that have been involved in lawsuits with the SEC. Take an example of XRP. Yes, it did try to pump, but it underachieved in the last Bull run. The same thing is most like to happen to BNB if that case drags on for a long time.

because binance is a big platform still very trusting on this coin,
Being a big platform means nothing. It could be big today and no more tomorrow. I think you know what happened to FTX and it's native token. Things are rather so unpredictable in the crypto space.

810  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin to introduce mandatory KYC on: June 28, 2023, 10:27:11 AM
Well that was expected

I don't think I will miss them. I last used Kucoin, probably in 2019/2020 when I discovered that my jurisdiction was one of those that was restricted by them, something other popular crypto exchanges don't do. So I thought to myself that It was dangerous to deposit money in a platform that has their terms of service clear about restricted jurisdictions even when KYC verification was still relaxed

They have a long list of restricted countries, I am pretty sure their trading volumes are going to dwindle in the coming days.

USDT TRC20 is preferable due to lower fees but I am also open to using Bitcoin. Any interested members can alert me in this thread or via PM.
812  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using Crypto Trading Bot on: June 27, 2023, 09:42:05 PM
I didn't know a person could hijack a Youtuber.
Well now you know

Quote
I guess I was hoping a professional could take a look at it and tell me if I'm being scammed.
How is someone supposed to look into it if you can not share the details such as the name of the YouTuber for starters?

Quote
Because I was able to withdraw $10,000 back to my bank. If they were scammers, would they let me do that?
But you said it will take 3 days for the money to get into your bank. So technically, the money isn't yet in your bank account. If you are sure that they are not scammers then I don't see the purpose of this post except if you have a hidden agenda.

Thanks for the fast translations! It is a pleasure to work with you, I recommend to everyone!!!
What do you mean? Where is the translation and who are you? I don't see any translation here.
I think what he meant was "fast transactions". Perhaps a spelling error.

I do not trust such kind of feedback, though. Very shady

it's funny, the so-called reviewer registered, looked for the thread and found it, posted and logged out, all within 1 minute!
814  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Holding $4k Withdrawal | Been 7 days+ on: June 25, 2023, 09:47:31 PM
I don't want to spread bad vibes but you said "we dropped the ball in this one" am interested to know why this hasn't been fixed as soon as OP has informed your customer agent about the issue! Didn't he (the agent) report it to you? What if OP didn't know about bitcointalk and didn't create this thread? I believe he would have to wait for much longer.

Again, am not trying to spread negativity or anything like that, I just want to understand how things work on the back end especially with customer service.
It looks like an agent who didn't know the job to do. To be honest, It can get pretty annoying. Once in a while I bump into such customer service agents and at certain points I start thinking that they are even very under qualified for the job. Their responses usually don't help at all and when you ask for the expected time they think the issue could be resolved, they just end up giving you a reply similar to that done by chatbots

I hope Rollbit try to improve on how customer support interact with players, and the answers should be direct and transparent. I can only imagine how long OP would have to wait if Rollbit Razer was not notified.
815  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 24hr fully automatic cryptocurrency exchange, NO KYC needed on Bitsar! on: June 25, 2023, 09:33:08 PM
Your crypto exchange uses other bigger third-party crypto exchanges for Liquidity, correct?

If yes, then what happens if a customer's funds are blocked in a third party exchange pending KYC verification, maybe due to a suspicious transaction. What do you do in this scenario because you already promised your clients that your service will not require KYC?
816  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful, the Bitcasino casino site has been cloned. on: June 25, 2023, 09:09:54 PM
Looks like one of those scam websites where if one tried to link their address containing some tokens to it, they would have all the tokens in their wallet drained in a matter of minutes or hours. I hope no one from here gets to fall for the scam, at least. Thanks for the heads-up OP.
817  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is considered good collateral these days? on: June 25, 2023, 08:55:10 PM
-snip-
The question is, how will the lender recover his money if you decide to default the loan?
Owning a verified Coinbase account means nothing. Nobody is going to go through the troubles of selling your personal accounts so that they can recover their funds. If you think the verified accounts are of any value, then try directly selling them for $900 instead of using them as collateral to borrow money, and you will see how hard or easy it is to get them sold.
818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Submarine missing ^Titanic disaster 2023 on: June 24, 2023, 09:36:19 PM
A few billionaires died. Nobody should give a fuck but they do... Why? Because people are retards.

There are more important shit in life.

Whoever died there can go fuck himself.
Never have I ever seen a tragedy that some many people didn't give a fuck like the Titan Submarine disaster  Grin
I have seen so many memes about this tragedy on Reddit and twitter. I guess it's an eye-opener to other billionaire assholes out there.

-snip-
Apparently there was some chap who had gone for the bottom ocean "tour" for more than 30 times if i recall well. Did he use the same vessel to carry out such expeditions or there were other, different, missions?
819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Job Lists on: June 24, 2023, 08:56:12 PM
I tried to find jobs for content writing on Coindesk, Cointelegraph, BitcoinMagazine ... and the results are like you told, they requested good CVs with long experience in cryptocurrency and content writing.

It is not suitable for me but we can start from lowest sidesteps and gradually improve ourselves and climb up.
Exactly, one has to start from somewhere and I believe there are startups and projects that don't need that much experience in order for one to become their content creator.

Around 2018-2019, i started writing content for certain start-ups, and they really paid me a good amount. I had no prior experience, but gave up along the way due to personal problems and the bear market. If I had kept on writing content for start-ups, I would now be having 4–5 years experience today  Grin
820  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] - CoinJoin Crypto Mixer | Your Anonymity Is Our Priority! on: June 24, 2023, 08:38:09 PM
Tor is not a universal solution for anonymity. At a minimum, I would recommend using a VPN when interacting with onion sites (Tor+VPN).
But at least they will still be using the website's tor mirrors, right?

My suggestion is for people to completely avoid using the clearnet version as it's more vulnerable and less secure in terms of privacy/anonymity. Now where they will use VPNs on top of onion sites or not is their choice.
