801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash A Better Crypto To Invest? on: February 09, 2020, 05:44:08 AM
Well!! Bitcoin cash is one of the most popular crypto in the cryptocurrency market, as a lot of experts have been predicted on bitcoin cash.

According to Several experts bitcoin cash price prediction the price will go up in 2020 and investing in bitcoin cash gives a better return on investment.

What's your take on this?
Bitcoin cash is a safer investment options compare to those unrank coins/altcoins as Bitcoin cash has proven how useful it is like the speed of it's transaction compare to bitcoin and also it's transaction fee is much lower compare to bitcoin.

These advantages put Bitcoin cash into rank #4 base on coinmarketcap which make it more popular and is favorite to be an investment options of newbies and other professional investors who fully support and believe the capacity of Bitcoin cash. So I can say that Bitcoin cash ia a better crypto to invest this 2020 especially that the market will likely to shift into bull run in the following months.
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $39 Million Worth of BTC Will Be Auctioned Off by US Government on: February 09, 2020, 04:09:16 AM
The united State Government is about to release $39m bitcoin worth for auction to individual who win the bid. According to the news; these bitcoin  were the ones seized from cryptocurrencies scammers around the industry and with those who were indicated of fraud. Here is my concern:

What you don't like, you don't need to eat.

Another concern; will this going to bring down the current bullish of Bitcoin if executed?

I would suggest that, they redistribute this Bitcoin to the community or to help the less privilege. This can also be use to support China against the fight of CoronaVirus.

“The USMS will notify the winning bidder(s) via email with instructions for the next step to complete their transaction the same day as the auction, even after 5:00 PM EST. The winning bidder must send the purchase price funds (less the deposit amount) by a wire transfer originating from a bank located within the United States and provide a wire transmittal receipt to the USMS by 2:00 PM EST, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.”

Full article is here!
Let's just hope that the bidders will not bid so high to these bitcoins so the price of bitcoin in the market will not collapse as it is a huge amount of money and can surely affect the market if it will be dumped.

If the winner will win the bid for example @18k then we are currently safe as of now as the bidder will surely hold the bitcoin and sell it once he/she/they can profit to it. And hoping that the winner of the bid are good investors like the big whales out there who knows how to play and ride the crypto market.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: February 09, 2020, 03:48:25 AM
Do you tell others about your big winnings?
Or do you wait for the time to pass and then talk?
Are you bragging about the big winnings or do you want to make a point not to waste your time and money in the casino, but get it already?
Of course it is already known that people like to brag, but is it wise to talk?
In my opinion it is by no means a good idea to talk about big gains, because it can only cause bad things, here are some:
1.Of course, you can be the target of a robbery first.
2. As much as you spend your time and money in the casino, the environment will say that you are addicted and that the gain is nothing.
3. We bring the danger of ourselves and our loved ones, this is in the first place, but these come to the detriment of your safety.
4. It is not good if you plan to have a job and to thrive in it, and your subordinate knows what you are doing.

These are just some of the examples, to hear your opinions, supplement me if I am wrong.

It will always depend to the winner because sometimes in Lottery, the Lottery owner will release the name of the winner and in this scenario I am thinking whether it is wise to do it for the sake of the winner.

But if in case, I will win a huge amount of money in gambling. I will not brag about it instead I'll just act as normal but sometimes we cannot control our pride and we brag about our winnings, so this is what I would like to control.
Overall, it is not good to brag or tell others that you won that huge amount whether in casino, gambling website, lottery and etc. as there is always an evil if we will talk about money.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: February 09, 2020, 03:32:30 AM

If you have noticed recently there was promotion about the P2P betting site related to binary trading (BETLLER.IO) it was stopped already and I guess only few are playing against each other. I have not see other p2p gambling sites but what sort of games do you think will work for p2p that you think you will play?

So far, I have played only P2P in poker as I usually gamble in poker in my free time but with regards to binary trading site like Betller I haven't tried it so far.

But if I have plenty of free time in the future, I would love to venture to another type of betting especially if they have P2P games as it is very exciting on how you are going to beat your opponent. I ventured Bettler a little as I am curious on how I can play to it and it seems that it is very easy to play, It is only high or low basing the base price of bitcoin with a certain time limit like 5 minutes.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **TAKE YOUR COINS OFF EXCHANGES** on: February 09, 2020, 02:55:32 AM
Hi Everyone,

We need to start telling everyone across the crypto community to take their whole balance of crypto from the exchanges to their OWN WALLET .

That is the ONLY way to stop manipulation. Furthermore, it will create a huge shortage of coins on every single exchange and end up in a gigantic bull run

REMEMBER. Not your keys. Not your Bitcoins
Even all the small investors will decide to do what you like to happen, we are still very far from the holdings of big whales so your plan is very useless especially if the total holdings of small investors will not at least reach about 4-10% of the total holdings of the big whales.

If you are afraid about manipulation then you will not last long in crypto world because right now manipulation of big whales are part of how the market works. If you want to profit in crypto world, you should know how to ride the flow of the market so you don't need to worry about something like withdrawing all your funds in the exchange and letting others to do the same just to stop the manipulation of the market.

806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 08, 2020, 02:20:47 PM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?
I am gambling as my past time only so what in mind if I were to ask what makes me stop gambling are these scenario.

* If I will decide to stop it, I can stop gambling anytime as I am not addicted to it or will be addicted to it in the future.
* If I will be bored to gambling especially if I am not winning anymore as I am very unlucky in terms of gambling and I already lost a big amount of money to it.
* If I will have no time for gambling anymore, like I will be busy with my work then in day off I will be busy with my family.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] I was scammed on Youtube. What to do? on: February 08, 2020, 01:50:40 PM
Guys i want to share my scam story - where i was scammed and lost almost 7 ETHs - with you for 2 purposes. One is to warn others not to fall into there youtube giveaway scams and the second reason is if there is any way to stop these scammers and burn the lost ETHs (or even if its possible to get my ETHs back?).

The situation was this:
On 27th of December 2019 i was opening my Browser and Youtube. And YT recommend me a current ongoing live video about Ethereum on their main page. It was titled something with Ethereum giveaway whatever...

The channel was named "Ethereum" and showed the original logo, so it seemed its the official channel. It had some videos from the past also listed so it looked legit.
So that live video i was watching showed a summit in nice quality, where we could see Vitalik Buterin on a summit and it was portrait as if it was a live event. I was listening a few moments to it and then i saw in the description something about a holiday givewaway by Ethereum Foundation to further accelerate the use of their coins in the crypto ecosystem.
They were offering like random increase to deposited ETHs. So for instance if one was to transfer 3 ETHs, you could get IIRC up to 9 ETHs back.
It was staggered and the more you deposit to their address, the more you could get. The max ETHs they would send out was like a 1000 or so? And they said it was coming back from the same adress you deposit it to.

At first it sounded fishy, but new to the crypto ecosystem i heard about real giveaways in the past, in form of airdrops or bunnyhunts and so forth. So it wasnt that fishy and sounded legit to me a bit at least.
My thoughts were like: Ok Ethereum was above 1000 dollars in 2017 and now they are down to 130 some because of the burst bubble and some of the ICOs on their platform going to zero, so they really want their coins to be used more. Kind of a PR action.
The live chat was also filled with lots and lots of postive messages about people receiving like 30 ETHs or some that supposedly deposited way more than 3 ETHs got back up to 100ETHs. There was one official support employee in the chat who moderated it and provided "support".
Thinking about that today, i was for a moment a bit sceptical reading that many of the positive messages were actually coming from russian kyrillic YT users names.

The transfer:
Well so i transfered the first 3 ETHs, which was actually only 2.99 ETHs because of the fees and in the live chat they told me i had to transfer more because their random bot in the background is not triggering below 3 ETHs and the support staff guy assured me that it will be added up, once more than the minimum of 3 ETHs are received in their wallet.
So i did and transfered another 0.49 ETHs and i was so overly impressed that i thought well ok i'll send them all that i have and made directly after it another transfer with my remaining 3.29ETHs. These were all the EThs i ever had.
I waited and waited and also others were writing in the chat about why i takes so long... So is started the blockchain explorer and saw that they only had like 20 ETHs in the adress... This was the minute when all the alarm bells rang. I immediately asked this in the chat why there is only like 20 ETHs and so on. I was even posting my Transaction hashes and this was the point when the only thing they were posting was like "Im sorry we are currently busy and will get back to you in a few moments".
Suddenly the chat closed and the live video was over. Thats it.

The reason i waited so long is because im actually a rather good herated person. I know the eastern europe and russing wages and the way they live over there... So i thought maybe its a young random guy now having 20-30ETHs and be able to make a living for him and his family you know...I was also terrible sick and was unemployed for 5 years in the past so i know how tough life can be. It was my hard earned cash from my job and actually thoese ETHs were the first crypto coins i bought in my life.
But Using the blockchainexplorer and seeing now what ammount they collected i think that this is a professionally organized scam group behind it and we should do something about it. Who is liable in such a case?

Thanks alot people. I really appreciate all your input. Sorry for my english, its not my native language.
This kind of scheme is very old and I wonder why there are still victims to this kind of scheme. This scheme was being spread in Facebook also and I am very impressed how active there posters are just to make their scheme more real.

What they are spreading in Facebook is very similar to what happened to you, they are posting something about airdrop and once you will send some amount of ETH to the airdrop address they will send you back x2 or more to what you have sent.

For newbies, read it carefully so you can avoid this kind of scheme and the easiest way to avoid it is to control yourself then don't be greedy to earn a huge money in just a short period of time as there are no easy money in crypto world.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 08, 2020, 12:54:06 PM
On the off chance that you intend to put money/Funds into Alts, kindly do your own examination and know that deceitful advertising sensationalizes pretty much every altcoin projects. Altcoins, and the organizations behind the projects are additionally helpless against guideline, Bitcoin isn't.

Bitcoin is the far superior investment for 2020. Not exclusively is it seen as a place of refuge resource, but at the same time it's the first digital money and consistently leads blockchain advancement through it's BIP procedure

If you must hold altcoin because they always bring better profits do not go too deep and make sure your altcoins are top altcoins
In short we need to dig first the background of any project that we like to invest especially those new projects that are popping up from nowhere.

We should be careful to those new projects that are promising a huge ROI as most of them are run away scammers or shit projects. Unrank altcoins are very risky so we should think twice before we will decide to invest to them the same with new altcoins but if we like a safer investment then we should choose the top ranking coins/altcoins.
809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run confirmed ? bitcoin ready to $10.000 on: February 08, 2020, 11:26:40 AM
A little more push and we will hit the 10k price of bitcoin, we are only 211$ away to reach it. Even if signals aren't there and you are a crypto supporter then you can easily tell the bull run is already happening.

Bull is on the move already and a little more push then we can fully shift the market from bear to bull. What I am wondering is whether the peak of the bull run will happen this year 2020 or not as it is the more crucial time to sell our investment.
810  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning about a dishonest bitcoin investor calls herself Alicia from Mexico on: February 08, 2020, 10:58:04 AM
My Friend traded several times small amounts with said "investor" and all went without a hitch, but the latest trade worth 5K she did not pay up and just blocked all contacts attempts.
So Just as a warning to the community, be very aware of this Alicia from Mexico!!

My friend lost 5K including my 600€.

Jan/ Finland

You should transfer this thread to scam accusation board so it can alert the forum members. I can say that the scammer is using a unique technique or she just end up scamming the money because she was given the chance.

Don't ever trade a big amounts to users especially if there are no escrow as everyone can be tempt to run the money if they will be given the chance to do so. Your lapses in your side is that you send first without thinking how huge the amount is, small amount trades were just use by her to gain your trust.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum on: February 08, 2020, 09:02:22 AM
Binance coin was hit to Coinmarketcap around 25 Jul, 2017. At the time BNB was trading nearly $0.10 with 10 Mln USD market cap, trading at its own Exchange Binance. whereas at the same time Ethereum was trading around $225 per Eth, having more than 21 Bln USDT Marketcap. Later on Ethereum Blockchain was well in business and marke its all time high price $1368 per coin and its market was cap was above 132 bln usd. This time was early 2018 and all market was at its peak. People were expecting about Ethereum will soon overtake Bitcoin and this all was due to Ethereum Blockchain adoption for new ICOs launching with the help of smart contract of Ethereum Blockchain.

But this all was slowdown gradully due to fake ICOs. With all this happening entire market was in downtrend which is still continue. Where this was badly effect whole crypto market but Ethereum was also in correction and this was lead its value to the agin under $200.

Now here is the other story of Binance. In the same time Binance was in serious busniess and its addoption was over the Moon. So, Binance was in race of becoming World No.1 Exchacge by beating Bittrex and it done the job, the other side its Binance coin was making business day by day.

Binance management very smartly engaging its native coine into miltiple purpose and make it one of the best cryptocurrency in Bolckchain Industry.

We all well aware how last year Binace utlise its Exchange and develop their Binace coin market. Here i want to mention some core businesses operating by Binance Team.

  • Binance Exchange
  • Binance DEX
  • Binance Chain
  • Binance Fiat services
  • Binance Launchpad
  • Having giant partners

Binance acquire Trust Wallet, WazirX Indian Market.

Binance coin will make history buy using like these above mentioned features and many more.

I think someday BNB will beat ETH, What you Think Smiley
There is always a chance for other currencies to move upward and replace those in top of the rank but they need to work harder for it to become reality especially if we talk about Binance versus Ethereum.

There is no doubt that Binance has the potential to do it someday but as of the moment Binance should focus more to their marketing side so it can increase it's users and investors. And if possible, if they still have unique features that they can still add in their platform they should do it or maybe they will think a unique marketing techniques to close their gap to Ethereum as days will pass by.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All Bounty hunters on: February 08, 2020, 07:32:05 AM
Many find it hard to invest any money on bitcoin or altcoin but now that we are in a good crypto year I think its wise if you hold few good top coins but if you don't have any money make sure you hold parts of coins or tokens you earned from bounty, remember what happened to most bounty rewards in 2017? I feel same thing will happen this year, I still see people who hold GowithMi tokens and they are happy holding it, just a piece of advice

But make sure they are good projects, some bounty projects are better dump off than holding them, you have to find that out yourself, example of good bounties was Tokoin, Gowithmi, Sero, TemTum, they are worth holding, thanks
Holding your rewards from your bounty campaigns is a good idea especially if they have a potential to grow but for those shit projects it will be best if you will sell it right after you receive it so you can still earn a little.

Most of the bounty hunters are very greedy in terms of their bounty rewards especially if they wait like 4-6 months before they receive it therefore most of them are selling their rewards right after they receive it without thinking whether they can still earn more if they are going to hold it for few months. If you are not in need of money yet, it will be best if you will think twice before selling your rewards especially if they have a potential to dominate the market in the future.

Binance will need to beat the top 3 to top 8 first as Binance is currently at top 9 base on coinmarketcap rankings. Before Binance can beat Ethereum it will need first an additional 21,000,000,000$ market capital base on their current standings.

I cannot disagree with your statement, Binance is one of the biggest and popular exchange out there because of their outstanding performance or service to their customers but right now what they need is to focus more on their marketing side. They should level up their marketing side as it is the only way to maximize their investors and the increase their market cap/price.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: February 06, 2020, 10:53:09 PM
Ethereum, being the world's second largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has all the potential of replacing Bitcoin in the future. It's more than just a cryptocurrency, being a platform for the development and execution of smart contracts (aka dApps). With ETH, it's possible to launch alternative cryptocurrencies without the need to start a Blockchain from scratch. It's also possible to use the ETH blockchain for other purposes such as voting, proof of identity, verification of documents, and more. In contrast, Bitcoin's only use is for finance where it cannot be implemented in other areas by its own.

Given all of the benefits Ethereum provides on top of Bitcoin, it makes me wonder whenever it'll be able to replace the pioneer cryptocurrency within the future? As long as, Ethereum keeps progressing in development and mainstream acceptance, it'll be much closer to Bitcoin every step of the way. What are your thoughts? Huh
I haven't thought of it because Bitcoin is mother of all currencies even if Ethereum is in the 2nd position that will likely to replace Bitcoin someday. So if Bitcoin will be replace, I am sure that this will be a big news and will likely to create a fuss around the crypto society.

But if the big whales out there will boycott the support of bitcoin and they will convert to Ethereum then the possibility that it will happen is pretty big. Ethereum will likely to need 160,000,000,000$ market capital to overtake the king of crypto currencies.
816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull and bear market. on: February 06, 2020, 08:07:36 AM
There is a bull and bear market. In which market is it hypothetically possible to make more money? In which of these two markets do people usually make a profit? And how to determine the beginning and end of one of the markets?

Anyone has difficulty in determining the end  of every season so it will be difficult for you to get a better response here.

But bull run will surely run for more than a year and bear is almost the same. Only their beginnings can be determined easily like the bull run, it usually starts once the market are full of green and bear once the market will start to be red. You can also refer to the charts so you can check whether the prices are starting to move downward or upward.

I was surprised to see that today, ETH broke $200 price barrier, and a lot of altcoins in the top 10 are also making a good run, is this the bullish signal that we all have been waiting for the altcoin market?

Source: Binance
Yeah, I didn't expect it to as it has difficulty in breaking it for the past months and hopefully that it will continue to grow so we can earn a good profit in the following months.

This is a good sign that bull is on it's mark already and it is affecting almost all the currencies which is good.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote bitcoin through any means. It'll work! on: February 03, 2020, 12:05:24 PM
Many of us here think that promoting bitcoin must involve holding seminars, meet ups, or conversing to people. However, that's not true. In most cases, we should understand that we can promote bitcoin in many ways. It could be by creating memes, stickers (I've seen some cool WhatsApp stickers), etc. You just don't know who would come across it!

Lately, I made an animated video in which the character talked about bitcoin, it's uses, advantages and disadvantages. Tho it wasn't easy making it (it took days), I believe it's worth it.
Here's a link to the video: https://youtu.be/LwwOVcFPWKI

If you share the video, it'll get to more people and that's a form of spreading the right info about bitcoin.
So it could get to other people and bring a lot to understand bitcoin better.

Any means of promotion will surely help as long as we can reach the audience even if our audience is not that many, still our message were able to reach them.

Any type of promotion either it is signage, stickers, videos, advertisements and etc. this will bring customer little by little and this little will surely increase the number of users/investors of bitcoin if it will continue until bitcoin will become the most famous currency around the globe.

Police Forces in Belgium, France and Israel Stop Scam Promising 35% Returns on Crypto Investments

Quote
Police forces in Belgium, France and Israel have reportedly put a stop to an international scam promising high returns of up to 35% on crypto investments. A big French private company and a French local authority are said to be among the 85 victims of this network. In total, 10 suspects related to the case have been arrested.

At least as crypto investors, we like to hear this kind of news are there are a lot of cyber criminals in the crypto sphere. It's a collective effort on the part of the authorities, so we comment those guys. I think we might see more of this in the future and I think it will bring more good to us. €6 Million is a big sum of money and we don't know if those investors are retirees or who really work hard for that money only to be stolen by this crooks. Hope that those criminals are going to stay in jail for at 5 - 10 years and suffer the consequences.

This type of scheme should be stop immediately as it will surely lead to running the money of the investors in short scamming their hard earned money. Their actions is great, I salute them as they stop this kind of schemes immediately and they were able to minimize also the damages.

This type of scheme also hits in our country but as it was stop, it is almost too late as plenty of millions already that were taken by the founder of the schemes. Some schemes offers 50%-400% return of investment in just 1-3 months.

Hi Everyone!

I was recently browsing through Twitter when I saw BitMart list TSL. After digging around the internet for a while, I couldn't find anything. Not a website, github page, facebook page... nothing.

I wrote an article about this experience and I would love to hear what you think. Why do you think exchanges are still listing shitcoins? Do you think there are some advantages to having a bunch of shitcoins on an exchange?

Cryptocurrency Exchanges are Still Listing Shitcoins

I can't wait to hear your thoughts!
The benefits that they can get in listing shit tokens in their exchange is the profile especially if that certain token paid a good amount of money just to list that shit token for any reasons that they have. Everything can be paid especially in crypto space so this kind of happenings are only normal.

And there are cases also that they own that certain shit tokens, meaning they list it so if someone will try to buy it then they can earn. Other than that, I cannot think of other reasons why they are doing it.
